Well, well, well. Let's start off talking about the plates. I was given a 7 lb. burrito on a cheap paper plate. It might as well have been served on a napkin. The soda tastes like crap. I have never heard of Sharkzilla soda and for good reason. It tastes like syrup water. The guy at the check out was awesome. He was wearing an Elmo hat and a skeleton t shirt. I am still trying to figure out why, but who cares. The burrito was ok. Nothing to write home about, though. Neato Burrito? More like NoBueno Burrito.

Worst Neato Burrito ever. This location should've closed. The portions here are half the size as any other location. Never again will I pay full price but get ripped off with only a tablespoon each of rice and beans.

I just had something very delightful! You've had it before too, but none like this. It's called a Neato Burrito. It's no ordinary burrito. It's a creative burrito with so many layers of flavor, made right in front of you by super cool people with tattoos and hipster hair. So imagine Chipotle, but with tons of tortilla flavors, including jalapeño cheese and chipotle chili. Then you can customize your burrito or get one of the daily specials, perhaps the cowboy crunch, which has Cajun chicken, chips, rice, sour cream, and other amazingness. And the salsa choices - oh my god! It's quite possibly my favorite thing since sliced bread. I just wish we had Neato Burrito in Virginia!

Two stars because neato burrito is the bastard child of taco bell and chipotle. We where looking for a northeastern substitute for Tijuana Flats in Florida. The ambiance and service where o.k. It was a nice attempt to be funky and ecclectic. The beverage selection was great, as I saw an array of "vintage" style soda pops, old school Pepsi n dew bottles as well as some mom and pop or import brands. The guac was great, the chips were fresh. A bit over salted, but I ate it regardless. For two half pound burritos that contained 2 table spoons of meat each, 1 side of large guac n chips and 2 soda pops we paid $25.00 It was not worth it. I would have enjoyed chipotle which was more protien hardy than neato. I hate to say this, taco bell would have been a better choice since I would have had the same taste but at a fraction of the price. The food: The poor excuse for "Angus" beef they used reminded me of taco bell beef. It was an ill attempt to create "shredded barbacoa". It had an awful aftertaste in it like it like it was poorly prepped shank meat (or the cuts that no one wants) and shouldn't have been used for a burrito, but for a stew instead. I'm glad I only got two table spoons of this meat gulash since it tasted very unpleasant. Had the meat been good though, I would have felt ripped off since it was mostly rice and veggies. The hubby had the cowboy. The chicken by itself is MUCH better than the beef, but still not all that impressed with their odd combinations found in the cowboy burrito. This place is certainly an upgrade from taco hell. I can see how some people may like it, but for the husband and I, we are not returning. Very dissapointing since it's one less option close to our house. Sad face with a tear.

I absolutely love coming here! The atmosphere is chill, and the workers are so eclectic and cool- tattoos, piercings, beanies, and a really relaxed vibe. The food is soooo good! I love making my own burrito, but the cowboy crunch has the best rep. The chicken is free range and GMO free, as well as the beef. The salsas are homemade that morning, And they are so fresh. Guac is a dollar extra, but they give you your money's worth. Speaking of money's worth, the Burritos are HUUUGGEEEE. I get the kids combo, which is 6.50 for a tinier burrito with chips and dip. The drink choices are really different, as well. All soda is an organic off-brand, and the most unique is a watermelon soda (which isn't too sugary and actually really refreshing), and they also offer organic ices teas and vintage Pepsi soda. In general, You can't go wrong here

Once in a while, they make a mean burrito, but more often than not, it just ends in regret. Sometimes quality is better than quantity... their burritos are huge but not in a good way. They always end up falling apart. I understand there's no graceful way to eat a burrito, but when you take your first bite and half of it falls onto the cheap, flimsy paper plate they give you, then they're doing something wrong. It just leaves you wanting a more proportionate amount of tortilla to filling, or chicken to everything else, because they give you a tablespoon of meat on a cupful of rice. Suddenly, that huge burrito doesn't seem like much of a value anymore. I used to love their jalapeno feta "salsa," which was only available (at no charge) a couple of days a week, until they decided they'd let you have it everyday.. but you'd also have to pay an up-charge everyday, as well. The soda sucks. I get that Coke is mainstream and not quite "hip," but it's far better tasting than "Sharzilla."

I usually go to the New Cumberland location so I was a bit confused upon entering this location and seeing the layout where you could go to one of two lines (presumably when they're busy, but when I went there was only one side open). The interior is spacious and they have fun new soda flavors to choose from, like watermelon. No difference in the food, as their burritos are consistently delicious in each one I've been to. The only bad thing, if you even could call it that, is that the only seating options I saw available were booths. Again, it's a little thing, but if you care about things like that, be prepared.

Awesome, just awesome. I am sad that I am from Calofornia and will not be able to eat another delicious burrito. I think they spinkle a little crack in there burritos, I am wanting more as I leave the store. The staff were so friendly and I enjoyed the whole experience. Very clean facility.

This review is not by any means a general commentary about Neato Burrito - just this location. I've been a big fan of the chain since they opened in Harrisburg in the mid 90's. I frequent the Lemoyne location - well, frequently. I love the service there and think the Rock Burrito is the best thing to every happen to Mondays! Here's the BUT - I tried this new location in Silver Spring today, and while it looks like my regular burrito haunt - it wasn't nearly the same experience. The service wasn't welcoming. Speedy service is nice, but I felt overly rushed here. I was paying for my own lunch as well as a friend behind me - the servers were in such a rush that they didn't catch the guacamole my friend ordered. They actually rang up a separate transaction for the $1 after they made the mistake. After eating at the Harrisburg, Paxton St, New Cumberland,Mechanicsburg and Lemoyne locations - I didn't think it was possible to get a 'blah' burrito, but that's what I got. I ordered my usual and it was just not very good. It wasn't bad, mind you. But I actually got bored 1/2 way through and discarded the rest. I have no doubt I'll rediscover what I love about Neato Burrito when I go back to the store in Lemoyne.

I mostly love the degenerate look of the employees and the hilarious decor but the burritos are tasty. I always get cowboy crunch. I love the off brand fountain diet cola. Neato burrito is subversive and filling lunchtime fun!

I stopped there today at the West Shore Plaza and had a good experience. The burritos are fantastic. I told one of them between a 1 and a 10 where 10 is the best I would range them around 6, more like 7. And this only because I had great Tex Mex experience when I was in Texas in March. One place seems to outdo the next. Of course, on the way home I ate fajitas at a place in Chattanooga, TN. It was awful. My mistake since they served local fare as well. I stopped at Neato Burrito because I didn't want to do the cheap Little Caesar's thing again. Turned out to be a good decision. Also, I heard the Mechanicsburg location isn't as great when it comes to service. Don't know, have to give that a try yet since we live close by.

As all other Neato Burritos, the food, decor and employees are awesome. Service is so fast and easy. Not to mention, the food is delicious!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
