Ordered delivery to my hotel as their staff recommended it over other Chinese delivery spots in the area. Their menu had a lot of choices and a couple of my standard favorites, so I ordered the pork dumplings and the special chow fun. When my order arrived and I unpacked the bag, I couldn't believe my eyes - the dumplings looked like the ones I love to get in SF in Chinatown. And the chow fun had home made noodles. Really? In PA? I never would have guessed that. So after taking a moment to get over how good the food looked, I actually ate some and it was sooo good. The dumpling skins were homemade as well and the pork flavor was good. The chow fun was good as well - not too greasy and packed with meat. To make sure my experience wasn't a fluke, I ordered from them again tonight. This time I ordered the pork dumplings and the special pan fried noodles. The dumplings were on point (again). And the noodles were amazing. The dish was filled with veggies (broccoli, oyster mushrooms, baby corn, carrots) and three kinds of meat - chicken, roast pork and shrimp. The noodles were again cooked perfectly and the sauce wasn't too greasy or salty. If I lived here, this would be my go-to Chinese place. Highly recommended!

I'm was craving some Mei Fun noodles and this was the closest to where we were at to get some Chinese food. We walk in and the hostess/front counter guy was sleeping on the table, he gets up and I can barely understand a word this kid is saying. Finally we understood what each other were talking about as I'm trying to get the right dish, and like I said I ordered the Chicken Mei Fun noodles and only one spring roll. So I get my food, the worst Mei Fun I've ever had in my LIFE, so plain and tasteless. Normally it's slightly spicy, and that wasn't the case at all. The chicken was the worst! It was so bad I was afraid I was believing it was rat or something. The egg roll tasted like a word that rhymes with hit. My boyfriend likes anything and even he couldn't eat it - so that's saying a lot. I was and still am mad I wasted my hard working $10.00 on that. I won't ever be back here again (if that wasn't obvious already).

This place wouldn't be worth it even if it were free...the buffet for lunch is cheap but there are missing labels missing trays of food and no air condition . The chicken didn't taste like chicken and the rice was very dry . I guess the fortune cookie was okay .

Food was mediocre, lacked flavor...definitely better Chinese in area. Lunch specials were cheap but not worth it.

I got takeout here on Friday 1/17 at 4pm. I ordered the fried dumplings and a small chicken lo mein. The dumplings tasted good. The lo mein was not bad. So, why the one-star review? About eight hours after eating their food, I started to get a debilitating stomach ache. That night I could not sleep because I was writhing in pain. Diarrhea came fast and furious. By 5 am I was vomiting violently. Seriously, if feeding people is your business, is it that hard to avoid poisoning your customers?

Stay away!!!! Tried the lunch buffet as I had to eat and run. Sucked! Food was dried out from sitting in the pans. Half the pans were empty. Ladles were dirty. The chicken did not taste line chicken. It was strips of chewy white something but likely not chicken. I wound up just eating the rice and left. Not worth it even if the buffet was free!

The food is probably typical, but it's far from bad, and the takeout and delivery service is top notch. They now have an online ordering system that bypasses the awkward phone call, shows the exact total, and allows a much better ordering experience. Two thumbs up for Hunan Express!

Wasn't the largest buffet I've seen, actually quite small...but everything was really good. Best black pepper chicken I ever had, and arguably the best chicken teriyaki stick. Nothing was dry or too overdone. Price was great.

In a word awful. Ordered the orange beef. What appeared was a pile of poorly breaded greasy chunks of meat covered in what certainly looked like and tasted worse packaged beef gravy. Tried about two pieces, gagged on them the flavor was so awful and left.

One of their best qualities is they offer their lunch special 7-days a week which, including taxes, brings the cost of most meals to $6... a perfect way to continue Sunday after church. The lunch buffet is small but has all the neccesary food options to leave you feeling satisfied. I usually get the General Tso's Chicken b/c of the flavor and vegetables but the Bourbon Chicken is also quite good.

Staying at a hotel near the restaurant. Read reviews and hotel staff recommended. It's absolutely cracked up to be as good as quoted. Wait for delivery was very reasonable and the food was delivered hot.

Very tasty Chicken with Cashews and a pretty well stocked, well flavored buffet for lunch as well. Not a bad price to come here on your lunch break and get your chinese food fix on.

I work near by Hunan Express so if I am hungry for Chinese I pick up my phone and they deliver in under 30 mins. I usually get the General Tso Chicken or the Chicken and Broccoli. No matter what you order it always arrives delicious. The lunch special is always about $5 and will leave you full!

Best Chinese in Camp Hill area... Of course, that is like being the best looking waitress...at Denny's.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
