It's a nice little buffet. I didn't think they had a variety of food, might be because it's lunch time. Food was okay, not any thing special.

When I first found this place I really liked it. They had a lot of variety and dinner usually includes steak which is a bonus. After going a couple times however, I think their menu is kinda bland and repetitive. If you decide to go, you should go for dinner so you get steak with your meal. I would like to try some of the specials they have such as "Breakfast for Dinner" and "Wing Night", but have yet to do so. The price is good, its a little oddly fashioned, and does tend to get crowded, but its worth a try to see what you think for yourself. *If you go, you must try the Honey Spread on their rolls and the Mashed Sweet Potatoes

So... ive eaten here several times. .. lets just say today was the absolute worst experience. Not enough staff, And no food. Yea no food. Everything is running out. And its cold if you get it. They have a water leak over the carving station.... the tables are not bussed. .. we waited in line for 30 min for this? So NOT HAPPY. The quality of food usually is satisfactory, its a buffet ya know... today.. not so much. The disorder was astounding. Today i wonder if they would pass a health inspection. .. simple things like changing changing gloves, or utensils....

This facility was EXTREMELY filthy! The floors appeared to not have been mopped in days. The availability of food items was dismal at best in most areas of the buffet. The spaghetti was cold, as was the mandarin chicken (when it was available). The "soft" flour tortillas were crunchier and more brittle than the hard taco shells. There were numerous instances where food items were mixed together, such as tartar sauce in the bacon bits. The soft serve ice cream area was covered in melted ice cream drippings, and toppings were mixed and spilled all over the place. It was also impossible to tell exactly what we were eating, as numerous items on the buffet were not labelled. Our server was told several times about the issues, but she claimed to have gone into the kitchen to help them replenish the buffet, but her efforts were not obvious. She was also very inattentive, ignoring the heaps of dirty dishes on our table. At one point, she was standing beside our table, and I held out a stack of dishes to her to clear, and she walked away. Knowing this was a chain buffet restaurant, our expectations were minimal to start with, but this place fell way short!!

We got here about 6:15 pm thinking there may be a line but we walked right up to the register and ordered. I gave it a 4 star because everything was tasty and hot but some of the food was either too, mushy (broccoli) or fried solid (shrimp that was so fried the meat inside the breading was hard). And just us two, alone, found 3 soup bowls not clean and 2 spoons. There wasn't a big variety of desserts but what we had was good. We'll come back again if we're in the area.

What a dump. Inedible low grade food. Don't waste your time, money or health eating here.

Poor service, food isn't well stocked and took 30 minutes to get to the register. I went through 6 plates before I found a clean one. Avoid.

Fire Mountain in Chippewa Pa, used to have pulled pork; they used to have hamburger sliders. They used to have whole cauliflower heads that melted in your mouth. Actually, they USED to be a really good restaurant.

Food is decent most of the time. It gets too crowded on weekend nights, and the bathroom is always kinda yucky, but its a great place when everyone wants to get their own food. Plus, they send out coupons in the mail that make it worth while.

    1) Heat lamps above each buffet food item had dust on it. (and food) 2) Sour cream and other taco sides were frozen and you had to scrape to get any of it out of the pan (this was 4:30-5pm) 3) Green beans looked like they sat in a pan of liquid for over a week and were VERY salty and mushy. 4) Meatloaf was mushy and had 1 inch thick of ketchup smothered on it (to hide the mystery meat) 5) The "steak" area had no lights and the grills looked very dirty. People asked for a steak which took 15+ minutes. Some chose not to stand and wait and left. The steak had gristle and so much fat the meat that was there was gross. 6) Salad dressing was sour and tasted warm, did not stay cool. 7) Fresh fruit consisted of some old pineapple slices and honeydew only. 8) Fried chicken was dry and the skin fell off to expose the dehydrated meat 9) A back room with random cheap and scary decor for "children" consisted of a cotton candy machine that the cotton candy was hard and gross. 10) The only thing edible was a roll that looked more like a glazed donut as it was smothered in butter. 11) Cones for icecream were stale and chewy 12) A female employee had a metal pan with random items in it. On top was 6 bananas still on the stalk connected and they were BROWN. Not light brown but darker than coffee. The employee commented she was going to throw them away. A manager (??) said take them over to the dessert station... She said they don't look good at all. Assuming they were going to be "salvaged" and mushed in their "homemade" banana dessert. Yes, I've seen people make desserts with over ripped bananas but these were DARK BROWN. 13) Cut slices of cake were hard and dry. 14) Two "fresh baked" cookies lay on a heating pan that were dry and over baked 15) Every piece of food looked like very, very poor quality and without a doubt questionable with getting ill. 16) I will NEVER EVER eat at this place again. NOT SAFE, HEALTH RISK, DIRTY PLACE

Ron handled my issues with my wait person extremely well. He also was a better wait person than my so called waitress hence his intervention. The food was good even being extremely busy during my time here. The rolls were excellent I just didn't like waiting an hour to get them. Ron thanks for stepping up you saved your restaurant a customer.

2nd time in a row, old dried up food on the bars, running out of meat, and general lack of concern for the appearance of the food bars. Asked to speak with a manager this go round...guess what...he never came. Says volumes in my book. Not the quality corporate would be happy with. Save your money.

I give this place better rate cause I just paid $5.29 for lunch, I guess. We went there was almost 4pm, but we paid the lunch price. Then later, the steaks, ham, all the dinner items came out, we got to eat them too. Just like all other big chain buffet restaurants. This place is big, and looks clean. Their hot food bar is pretty good compare with Old country buffet. Other stuff is almost the same except this one has grilled steak made to order. The waitress who served us didn't look like she was happy. She didn't say anything to me while I was sitting there, and just took my receipt away to get drinks. Of course no smile at all. She was the kind that you didn't want to leave tip at. But I did anyway. For 5 bucks for lunch, I have no complaints about it, especially I have to pay for more for just Hoss's salad bar( there is no big American buffet where I live) at where I live.

Can't think of one positive thing to say about this hole. The food, service, and cleanliness are all beyond horrible. Not even going to bother explaining this place. All I can say is if you are a brave person with a death wish, then give this place a shot.

They need to take a lesson from Hoss's. The food was ok; some better than others, some way fresher than others. The cooked ground meat for the tacos was as dried out as it looked however the salads, breaded fish, breaded chicken and desserts were pretty good. The service is poor. We were shown to our table and our drinks brought then that was the last time anyone came to our table. We had to get our own sweetener and napkins from another table. Sad. No offers of a refill. We wanted chocolate syrup for our soft serve. The container was empty. We told a girl who was close to our table for a half hour, slowly sweeping the floor amidst tables of dirty dishes, and she said "I guess the guy over there working isn't going to bring anymore out." Gee whiz, couldn't she get it or go over and tell him a customer wanted choc syrup?? The bathrooms are dirty. The toilet seats themselves were not too bad looking but the steel cubicles and doors were filthy with smears and fingerprints. The floor was dirty. The sinks dirty. We each left a dollar tip and that was only because some of the food was decent and we did get one drink before everyone deserted us.

The only reason we ate here is that my husband is a huge hog who had driven by a few times and saw alot of cars here, and he heard they had 'grilled to order' steak. Me and my kid just wanted to shut him up about it once and for all, so we agreed to go. Hahaha...(mirthless laughter) The only fitting adjective for this place is one he made up: deplora-bad! 1. They charge $11 for the dinner buffet. 2. Drinks are $2 extra, but served in tiny cups that, once filled with ice, are only a sip or two at best. Then you have to wait for the server to come over, ask if you want another, and then wait for it to come back. By that time you will have realized the food here is inedible, and you will have left. Therefore, for $2 extra, all you got was a sip or two... 3. The place is FILTHY. You pay as soon as you walk in, they give you your receipt, and then you are on your own to find a table. When we were there, almost every table was COVERED in dirty plates and cups, and the few that weren't were still greasy and crumb-y. None of those tables were cleaned while we were there (which wasn't very long, I admit) so we had to eat while surrounded by all that filth. Blech. 4.The food, oh the HORROR!!!!!! The buffet was messy and many items were empty, and what was there was often unrecognizable, but even when I could recognize it, it was ghastly. The baked chicken was slimy on the outside, dry and flavorless inside. The 'carving station', which is apparently left to the customers to 'carve' as they see fit (including a million little kids who were running wild throughout this place, but more on the clientele later), was filthy, the 'grilled to order steak' was cooked on the dirtiest flat-top imaginable, and the meat was cooked in advance and left to soak in a brine of I-know-not-what until ordered, then briefly tossed back on the the flat-top. The 'Mongolian stir fry station' (dear God) was also a filthy flat-top, the beef appeared to be the fat trimmed from the 'steak' being served a few feet away, and the chicken!!! Wow, my stomach is turning just thinking about the stuff he pulled out of that bucket!!! It was the color of fat and the consistency of fat, and was also soaking in some kind of juice.... (GAG!). I opted for noodles and asked for extra veggies, but all i got was onions, cabbage, possibly bok choy (?) and one little floret of broccoli. The shrimp looked like it came from a can. 5. The salad bar was also messy, but the lettuce was fine, there were some baby greens, and the cukes, red onions, broccoli and bell pepper rings were fresh. The dressing area was a disgusting mess and nothing was labeled (this was an issue throughout the entire buffet). I actually had a large, fresh-tasting salad (with no dressing) and very little else off this disaster of a buffet. My husband and teenage son (both usually huge eaters) also found the food here revolting. They both had the steak which they declared was awful. They each had some mac and cheese and some mashed potatoes. My husband went back to the buffet four times, filled four plates, and threw almost all of the food away, it was THAT inedible (you have to understand, this guy LIKES fast food!). They both had ice cream and chocolate cake for dessert, which they said was good. But the huge mess on and around the dessert bar was a huge turn off for me, I wouldn't eat anything all those kids had been playing in! The server brought a basket of fresh rolls with honey 'spread' and they were quite literally the best thing in the restaurant. 6. The clientele was mostly trashy families (sorry! sad but true!) who let their kids run wild, bumping into other people and putting their filthy hands all over the food. It is no wonder everything was a mess! 7. We actually got decent service here, all things considered. The waitress was friendly and refilled our drinks a couple of times, and cleared our plates in a timely manner. But nothing could overcome the horrible food and filthy mess. I will say this: there were several families around us who appeared to be enjoying their meals. Maybe they were just glad to have their kids trashing someone else's place for a change. =/ For $13 a person, you can do better at almost any other restaurant.

The atmosphere I like better then old country, I like getting the steak fresh off the grill (medium). But the drink service is too slow and it's crazy to think you will be charged for soda and coffee starting Feb 15th! I expected better since they old country has a decent set-up. The rest of the buffet is ok, lots of veggies and other meats. They are really big of bread considering they serve bread and sweet rolls to the table and have about 5-6 other breads on the buffet.

The food is overcooked- the fried chicken is dry, the mashed potatoes are watery. The salad bar is OK. The steaks are not marbled cuts of meat so ordering them well- done makes them tough. Though I asked for well done and it was red inside. Like other readers have mentioned, they need to make the drinks self serve. No need to overwork those poor waiters, they need a lot more busboys. Anyway I won't be going there again.

Need to have help ur sef on drinks and pre cut the deserts cakes. Somebody always destroys the cakes. Need to take a few lessons from Old Country. The plus is steaks to order while you wait

I haven't been to this place in a long long time and since I was dining alone and hungry I figured why not give it a try? Okay here's the reason why I won't give it a try ever again. I asked the grill person for a piece of medium steak not expecting it to be medium which it wasn't but I did expect it to be a piece of meat! My leather shoes are softer than the slab of RK I got ( not sure what it was they gave me didn't taste like Beef though) Now the rest of the Story this is supposed to be a buffet and I didn't arive with the usual diner crowd but it was still early where everything should have been up dated. They Had rice on the line it was turning brown from being left out and drying out left it sit the mashed potatoes were hard and sticking to the pan they sat also they had saurkraut on the menu don't know why there wasn't hot dogs or pork and it was in the section where the taco or burrito fillings were Makes sense to me. I tried the black eyed peas more salt in them than the Atlantic Ocean There was three items left empty on one line look like something breaded was in them another line had two empty items, Up where they have the Mongolian grill they also have the fish section and some baked potatoes which were dried up and they had sweet potatoes I couldn't get them off the pan. I over heard the Grill Person state to a customer that He handles it all I was wondering if he was proud that the line looked like it was ready for the Trash Bin. Evidently he must have been the only one taking care of the food nothing ws filled, stirred refreshed or even checked the whole 40 minutes I was there. I tried the Fried trout I think it was rubbery ond dried out the Roasted chicken was moist but not overly hot, The fried chicken was rubbery no taste to it. So I checked out the salad bar well mostly empty picked through and crushed up. This place serves till 9pm Monday thru Thursday it was only 7:20 when I got there. Okay it's a buffet so Headed to the desert Bar there was actually someone working there it's got to be somewhat fresh right!!!! NOT!!!! there wasn't anything that hadn't been ripped apart and look like it was marched over by 2 Brigades of Militia. Saw a Piece of choclate cake with some good looking topping My Mistake!!! Oh almost forgot while I was walking around the person working the desert counter brings out a Mop buket of water and starts spilling it out on the floor behind the counter and scrubbing the floor!!! The one star is for the Pleasant waitress who actually made me a fresh pot of coffee and got me refils and cleaned up my nasty half eaten plates of Garbage. FIRE MOUNTAIN???? NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Grease fest! It feels like a trucker stops as soon as you come in. The food is plentiful and cheap (a meal will come to around $5.83 after taxes for a buffet). Sadly, the quality is not as great. I ate here for lunch and went on a comma for the rest of the afternoon. Food is a hit or miss, chicken alfredo was bad, sweet potatoes when good, beef tips tasted weird, pollock was ok. I do have to say, their buns are good, they have a sweet taste to them, just make sure to get the ones out of the oven. Customer service is also great, the waitress was on very good at her job.

Good premise, horrible execution. My main complaint being a steak eater is that you can only get your steak 1 of 2 ways, Well, or Med-Well. Which is a damn shame, because no matter what cut of beef it is, has gone way past it's prime once you cook the hell out of it like these guys "Must" do for health reasons.. Ya know what, I take my health into my own hands everyday that I decide to eat out, I don't need you doing it for me. If I want to eat a side of raw meat, just give me raw meat and I'll sign the disclaimer. Unfortunately the sheep of this sue happy nation apparently cannot think for themselves or make rational decisions so I have to deal with eating a piece of leather. Sorry for the rant, moving forward. The hot bar is pretty good, the ham is juicy and the gravy is also decent. Spaghetti turns a little too mushy but then again it is just sitting there forever while someone decides to eat it for them to make more. The desert table and self serve ice cream is not bad however get there first due to kids loving to play hatchet on the food. The best things here would be the rolls with honey butter they serve and their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. However I'm not paying for just cookies and bread so this place can't get a better rating than only Meh.
