Oh dang... the secret is out. This has been a local favorite since before my grandmother passed. She loved when we took her here. The food is wonderful. I love the dutch meals. desserts are amazing, buffet is amazing, and prices can not be beat. Everyone goes there after church lets out but its a great way to run into friends you haven't seen in a while. The young ladies and men working there are very sweet. The cooks are amazing. the breads are fresh and home made food is out of this world... I am sad to see it is no longer a local secret but happy that many more people can enjoy it. They did build a larger dining area so it facilitates larger families and groups too so go try it out!

Clean, friendly service, attractive decor, and great "small town" ambience. But the food selection isn't much to my liking. PA Dutch foods tend to be bland, and the Family Cupboard is no exception. The selections on the buffet are reliable - not much variety, so we tend to stay with just a few choices. But...we do, indeed, return because of the convenient location. Not much competition at this end of town.

This is my second favorite buffet. I like that this place is smaller and quieter than the other buffet. This also isn't a tourist trap. We have only had the buffet. Don't expect something the size of a football field but do expect good food.

The place was clean and the waitstaff were very friendly. The food was not very good tonight. I would skip the buffet. The chicken was really dry and the shrimp was from a box.

If you're driving to Lititz for Aunt Millie's birthday, stop at the Lititz Family Cupboard and pick up some baked goods from their bakery. They have beautifully decorated cakes, cupcakes, whoopie pies and more. You out in Central PA, so the staff is going to be sweet as dutch pie.

Good PA Dutch cooking either on buffet or ordered from menu. The place gets crowded (a really good sign) at meal times. Presently the restaurant is being repainted with some unusual colors. As locals who are in this restaurant often, I'd give it pretty good marks (scores 89 on my 120 point scale; cleanliness, food, service, ambiance) for variety and consistency in food quality and service.

This is a great place for breakfast! Everything tasted wonderful! I recommend this place for breakfast!

I had the chicken salad and ham and bean soup. The chicken salad was good, it was fresh chicken breast. The soup was homemade and terrific. My daughter had the grilled cheese and fries. She liked the sandwich and was so-so on the fries. Our waitress was friendly and brought refills without asking. Thought about getting the buffet, but I was not crazy about the limited selection. If we are back in Lititz, we will visit again and try the homemade pies.

Been to their breakfast buffet 2 times now and the food seems like its been sitting out for a very long time. They also don't have much of a selection.

Cheap, cheerful, and delicious. Honestly, I'm shocked that anyone would complain about the prices at this place. Heck, a Value Meal at Mickey D's is pushing eight bucks these days, an less than eleven dollars for homemade food and dessert is too much? Seriously, unlimited baked chicken, pot roast, chicken pit pie, lots of sides, salad, and carrot cake, pecan pie, and pudding is good cheap eats, folks! Recommended!

Again, another one I went to since I was in elementary school! It had two different names in the years I was there but always excellent Pennsylvania Dutch cooking, highly recommended!!

Great food, but a little tight on space and very busy during dinner time. So not the best place to have an intimate date. I got the buffet option and everything was fresh and delicious. The buffalo chicken Mac and Cheese is an absolute must, as well as the sweet potato fries. The BBQ chicken was great too. The dessert bar had a lot of tasty options and we did try all of them! Great place to visit for out of towners without feeling like a tourist trap restaurant. Seriously, that Mac and Cheese is a must!

I always get the buffet so that's all I'm commenting on. And, it's so-so at best. At worst, it's horrible. About a year ago they went from decent mashed potatoes on the buffet to the worst, most watery instant potatoes I've ever had the misfortune of pouring onto my plate. At the same time, everything on the buffet went from fairly good to just tasting...cheap. Everything just tastes like institution food from a can, thrown onto a buffet and left there for hours. I used to eat there 3-5 times a month. Now, so many other places are so, so much better I have no interest in going back.

My family and I wound up here after a waitress at the Renaissance Faire's restaurant was very rude to us and we left the open house. My goodness, it was like serendipity. The food at the buffet was great, the service was the best I've ever had, our waitress (I think her name was Nancy but I wasn't there when she introduced herself so I don't remember), was the nicest, friendliest person and it was really just a lovely meal.

I'm surprised at the low marks. Next to Dienner's on tourist-trap Rt. 30 this is the best PA Dutch Buffet I've eaten at, and I'm born and raised Lancaster Co. I highly recommend it.

Not a bad place, the food was good. I got the buffet on a Wednesday evening for about $13. The salad bar, though adequate, was nothing more. It was quite simple. The hot buffet featured mostly starches. Lots of pasta and corn and stuff. The only two meats were baked chicken and hamloaf. The green beans tasted as though they were sitting in the lukewarm water all day. The dessert bar was decent. It had mostly puddings and jello. There was some delicious pecan pie I tried though. So over all, I probably won't return. I don't think it's worth the price. But it would work if you need a family Pennsylvania Dutch style buffet.

I'll start off by saying I would have gave it 2 stars but it was VERY overpriced! Without tax for two people having the "weekend buffet" it was $26.80. Seriously? Not worth it at all. The service was fine and the place was clean. You can order off the menu or pick the buffet. Like I said we picked the buffet and it was a disappointment. Average to almost average food with very limited choices. Smallest buffet ever and for the price they charge it???? Charge grand prices you need to provide a grand buffet. The photo someone added of the buffet line...yep that's it, along with a salad and dessert station. Conclusion: Overpriced for kinda average food with limited selections.

This is your standard Amish style buffet. The food is pretty simple with a mixture of fried foods, meats, and steamed vegetables. The salad bar isn't stocked with a huge variety of vegetables either. The waitstaff is pretty friendly and the interior is clean.

My mom and I frequent this place for breakfast. Neither of us ever get the buffet, but we are never disappointed with our food choices! They have THE BEST bread for the toast, pretty sure it is fresh made that day. The staff is super friendly, but it can get a little noisy, they can really pack em in. However the plus- I've never had to wait for a table!

I've only been here for breakfast but this is a place I go to every time I go to Lititz to visit my grandma. It gets crowded but it's worth waiting for the breakfast food. The eggs are good. I've had the sweet potato pancake and it was awesome (especially with their homemade honey butter)! But the baked oatmeal is TO DIE FOR! I would pay $30+ for that recipe. It's just amazing! I think the prices are very cheap too compared to diners in the Philly suburbs where I live.
