Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. The other reviews are from people that go out once a month. My wife and I go out 3 to 5 times a week and we know the bad Restaurants. Piazza Presto is a great place to eat. Their Italian dishes can compare to some of the South Philly greats. (Ralph's and Dante and Luigi's ). Always order the specials you can't go wrong CHEERS! .

Wonderful Italian Mediterranean dishes that are unique and full of flavor. Have never had a bad meal here in over 25+ visits. The pizza is wonderful. The pasta dishes are huge. Always take food home, and service is typically great as well. BYOB is awesome too!

I have to say this place has gone way downhill. My husband and I used to be almost weekly regulars and we always loved our food and wait staff. The last time we went, about a month ago, I could see a huge decline not only in the food quality but in the wait staff. They have what appears to be all new staff, except for maybe one or two. They are unfriendly robots that added nothing to my experience. I ordered a Tilapia special they had and it was completely raw. I mean my two year old could have cooked a better dish. It was floating in sauce as well. They did bring me another and waited to make sure it was cooked but, honestly, I was already too grossed out to enjoy it. Sorry to see such a great place go bad.

We've been regulars since Piazza Presto opened, and used to LOVE it. However, like other reviewers have mentioned, it's gone WAY downhill. Clueless servers, incorrect orders for eat-in, and REALLY incorrect orders for takeout. I had the same exact fight as Jc J. on a coupon for takeout. Shockingly poor customer service. I could not believe how poorly I've been treated as a regular customer with a large order. Food was also significantly less impressive the last time we ate in. The prices are also very high for what you get - and we were willing to pay those prices when the service and quality warranted, but there's a point where you have to give up the fight and admit that they don't seem to actually want to be in business anymore. Sad.

Live in Limerick and through friends had not heard good reviews about the restaurant but, I won a gift certificate so I thought I'd try it out. On their takeout menu (which references best of Chester county numerous times - umm we are in Montgomery county so that doesn't really apply). They have a coupon on their take out menu that offers a buy one entree get one 50% off (no where does it list "eat in only") however, when I called for take out I am informed that they won't honor the coupon. I argued with the guy to no avail so we moved forward. Place my order over the phone, go in to pick it up and a waitress basically stands there and looks at me without saying a word. At least say "Someone will be right with you" if you aren't going to help me! Finally, get the food home and it was completely underwhelming. An appetizer portion of stuffed shells (3 small shells), a burned Gyro, and an Italian hoagie with very little meat in it. What a disappointment! I wouldn't have went there if I didn't have the gift certificate and I won't go back again. Much better options in MONTGOMERY County then this place.

I was in a pinch and had to order from a place that delivered. Didn't have high expectations however, with the exception of the delivery time, the food was better than expected. I ordered a provolone grilled cheese sandwichs, cheese fries and a small cheese pizza. The grilled cheese sandwiches left me wanting for something a little more "worked on". It seemed slapped together with little effort and barely heated...the cheese was in fact still a bit "non-melted" (if that helps with imagery).

I don't understand how this place does not have more stars. Best tip I can offer: Go for their dinners, NOT their hoagies and steak sandwiches. We found this place through a groupon and got a few sandwiches for lunch one day. Upon walking in we were surprised. The decor is very nice inside and that of a nice sit-down italian restaurant, not your typical pizza place. We saw their selection of dinner choices and found out they make much of their menu in house. Well, the sandwiches were not great. They were ok (2 stars at best). However, we were intrigued to try their dinners for a sit-down meal and that is where we learned they shine. We loved that they are a BYOB and do not charge a corkage fee. The dinners were great and we have now gone here a few times. Go early, make reservations. This place gets packed around 6pm and stays that way for a while.

We made 6:30 reservations for 6. When we got there the table wasn't ready. We were quickly informed that the people to our left were the people they needed to leave to seat us. After some observation, we realized their waiter was essentially worthless and they were waiting for their revised check and payment to be taken. We finally got seated, but 20 min later no one had come to offer water, open our wine or give us the specials. We finally got the host attention he proceeded to explain that our waitress was overwhelmed with the needy table next to Us. When she finally got to us she let us know that she was just told we were her table The food was ok. Clearly it sat too long and wasn't planned well. It took forever. We paid our check 3 hours after our reservation (9:30). Nothing about the experience made me want to return.

Slow service. Ignored for 45min after salad while waiting for entree. No apologies for delay. Food ok but definitely not worth it anymore. Plus the booth we were sitting in literally had duct tape covering the benches. In fact, I think I'm sitting on a hole. Piazza Presto you just lost 2 customers.

A neighbor told me that her children had been raving about this restaurant and that she had a wonderful birthday dinner there. I saw what they were raving about. To start everyone was pleasant and efficient. I was there at an off hour - too late for lunch too early for dinner and enjoyed one of the freshest caesar salads I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Staying on the safe side, I ordered spaghetti and sausage. I was told that the sauces are made fresh for each order and after a short wait a very fresh, tasty red sauce with angel hair (one of 3 choices of pasta) pasta was placed in front of me. There was also garlic bread that was well seasoned and the desserts are not to be overlooked. I had the Kentucky bourbon pecan pie and It was truly delicious! I'll be returning for pizza and possibly for another dinner - and this time I'll be a little more daring. By the way, this place is in back of the Wawa at Lewis Road in part of a small strip mall.

02/04/2010 Good food, but pasta is a bit overpriced for a BYOB. The two waitresses were actually loudly fighting over our table, which took away from the good time we were having. Not sure I would return

You would never expect such a nice restaurant to be tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Great Italian food, large menu to choose from. Piazza is one of our go-to places for a special occasion. They typically get slammed on Fri/Sat night so I would absolutely recommend making a reservation.

Everything is relative so if you've never had good NYC or Neapolitan pizza, you may think the pizza here is good, but in truth it's terrible. I've never eaten anything else here so I can't comment on other dishes but if an "Italian" restaurant does pizza this poorly, I'm not sure I'd bother.

Good food but if you are hungry don't come here. Service sucks, and it took over an hour to to get a salad and chicken parm. Should be zero stars. What a waste of a night.

I've had lunch, dinner, and Pizza take out, and this place is pretty darn good. I wouldn't call this place a Pizza shop, as most Pizza shops do not make dinners like this place does. This place is very cozy, and the bathrooms are EXTREMELY clean!! Their desserts are very good as well, and I would give them that 5th star, if the had cannolis on the dessert menu. lol Piazza Presto beats any of the Pizza type shops in the Limerick/Royersford area. This place is also a B.Y.O.B. and they have a manager/owner who is actually visible and cares about his customers. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Hands down the worst pizza in the area. The crust is like toasted cardboard. I've had better pizza from the supermarket freezer. My husband and I have made a point to try many different pizza places since we moved to Royerford and this is definitely the worst.

Great Italian food! I have tried a few dinner specials and am always happy. Love that it's a BYOB!! Can't say that the ambience is super intimate or romantic (it is a strip mall) but the food is great quality. Nice addition to the Limerick dining options!

This place is awesome!! Food is fantastic. I have never had anything I didn't love. Byob which is great! I highly recommend the tri color tortellini with chicken. I go usually once or twice a month and wish I could go more often. Try this place out!!

Three stars based on good service and ok food. Our server was accommodating and solicitous without being overbearing. She gave her honest opinions when asked for recommendations and suggested splitting dishes that consisted of large portions. This is the way to go with the pasta dishes unless you are very hungry. We ordered a Margarita pizza based on the menu blurb "Voted best pizza in the Philadelphia area". Philadelphia must be a sad, sad pizza desert. I've had better pizza at Bryn Mawr pizza and at Renato's, to name two random Philadelphia-area pizza restaurants. Heck, I've had better pizza at the I 95 rest stop in Delaware. It wasn't horrible, but I can't recommend it. I raise an eyebrow when a Caesar salad has tomatoes, but it was ok if you think of it as a house salad. Just not very Caesar-y. We waited a bit despite having a reservation, but that was because a previous party lingered. Not the restaurant's fault. I would return and give it another chance. I will be trying the pasta though.

We made a reservation for 6:30pm and did not get seated until 7:30pm. Once we got to our table, no one came to see us until we flagged down a waitress. She was not assigned to our area, but didn't want us to wait any longer so she took our order and took over our table. Prior to this, we had to get our own glasses and open our own bottles. Our waitress was wonderful!! We were very appreciative of her help!! Once the food came it was ok. We were in a group of five and 3 of them were luke-warm and not to standard. We feel like overall, it was not a good experience. We had to ask for rolls and had to keep an eye out on the hostess. She was clearly not trained and was very flustered. It made for a stressful time for everyone there. She should have had some back up from management to help her out. She can't be totally to blame. Many people left because there was such a long wait and because it was so chaotic. We are only in the area to visit our in-laws during a difficult time and I can't say I would go back. There are too many other good restaurants nearby to go to.

I would like to start off by stating that my entire family has been regulars at Piazza Presto for years. We used to love their food and the service was always great. Over the past several months, we have noticed a steady decline in the service, quality of food, and professionalism of the management. There have been several occasions where our entire order has come out wrong, where we have waited significant amounts of time for food, and where the manager has been extremely rude. Having worked in the restaurant business for several years, this is unacceptable. The final straw was last night, Mother's Day. We called to make a reservation and requested to sit outside. We arrive on time and were seated a few minutes later. There were about 5 tables in the restaurant and 5 tables seated outside. We placed our order not too long after arriving. The service was extremely slow. Bread came out to the table about 45 minutes after we ordered and when the server brought it, there were only 5 pieces-- not even enough for everyone at the table to have a piece. We asked for more bread and it took about 25 minutes to arrive at the table. Again, only 5 pieces. We waited....and waited for our food. After an hour and 45 minutes, we approached management regarding the amount of time we have been waiting for our food. Management stated that they were really busy which was why the food was taking so long. It was pointed out that there were only a handful of tables in the restaurant and we were then told that take out was very busy which was why our food was taking so long. We were told that they would take 50% off of our bill to compensate. This was appreciated, but does not change the fact that this has been a reoccurring issue that last several times that we have eaten at Piazza Presto. We received our food. Two of the meals were not correct and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Three of the meals came out warm or cold. At this point, no one was interested in letting the wait staff know that things were not correct, because no one wanted to wait longer for food. Overall, we were at Piazza Presto for 2 hours and 30 minutes. This is completely unacceptable, especially since the restaurant was not busy. Unfortunately, we will not be back to Piazza Presto any time soon.

I've only eaten their twice, and both times I've been disappointed. My first time was a long time ago, so all I really recall was having general Italian dishes and not being too satisfied. I'll skip the details on that one. The other day we tried it again, and this time we had cheesesteaks. I had a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and my wife had a cheesesteak hoagie. Mine was over cooked on the grill and the buffalo flavor was lost. My wife didn't think her hoagie was any good either. Side salad and garlic rolls were good though, but how hard is it to get a good side salad?

as compared to similar restaurants in the King of Prussia area, Piazza Presto is much better. It is small, and in a strip mall, but the food is excellent. In general, I think the pizza and entrees are much better than the sandwiches.

Wow, such mixed reviews on this place but a lot of them were older so I thought I would give the place a try. Came here for lunch with my two boys one weekend afternoon and the place was relatively quiet with only about five tables with patrons. The place was nicely decorated for a casual Italian restaurant. We were quickly seated and someone came over and took our drink orders. Once he came back with our drinks (pretty quickly), I proceeded to ask him a question about the kids menu and he informed me that he's just the bus boy and that a waitress would be over in a bit. There was only one waitress working and it more than a bit before she came over--it was closer to 5 minutes. Not sure why it took so long other than it didn't appear like she was moving all that quickly. We just went with a small cheese pizza and a side order of fries. Loved the fries (they were like beer-battered fries) and the pizza wasn't bad. It had a slight crunch to the crust and the sauce was on the sweeter side, which I like. I was disappointed that they didn't offer a traditional kids pizza. They do offer a kids pizza, but it's on pita bread. My boys would not have liked that, but they are picky eaters. Prices were reasonable and I would like to go back and try some of their pasta dishes. They looked good based on what I could see on the other tables. Hopefully service will be better next time around as well.

1st time here and ordered the white and red pizza. Loved them. Red sauce was great and home made. Deirdre was a great server and very pleasant. You can tell she loves her job.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
