I hate leaving one star reviews but this one deserves it. I have ordered many Chinese dishes from many Chinese restaurants and although each dish tastes a tad different they still have similar flavor profiles BUT this place is the exception. My family and I ordered general tso chicken and shrimp and broccoli and when the food arrived I was confused. It didn't look like either of the two dishes we ordered and the taste - I had to spit it out. It was so bad and so uneatable (yes I made up that word) that I had to drive there and demand a refund. I hate doing that usually if something is not to my satisfaction I make note of it and eat what I can I hate sending food back but there was no way I could eat it. I don't even think a dog would eat it. They were nice given the circumstance that I said I must return the food for full refund although I got some ugly stares. This place is weird, they been in business for a bit and I'm still confused as to why (genuinely confused).

Very surprised at this place. Good Chinese is very hard to find around this area. The sign is run down and old and inside is outdated and not many people there. Let me tell you It was good! Abd the deliver! It was hit and fresh. The chicken with garlic sauce is very good. Not too much chicken or veggies. The beef satay on stick (not bbq beef on stick) was on point! Awesome flavor and sauce. The veggie dumplings very good Not great. The filling was bland and the sauce was a very thick soy based.!The wonton soup was average nothing to write about and the egg roll wasn't anything special either. I'd try something else from next time to see if the rest of the menu is just a good! Prices are reasonable.

Bland food and outdated interior, looks like it was designed in the 1950's it probably was. A 1950s little Chinese restaurant in Pennsylvania definitely does not say gourmet or really even appetizing at all. The food was a little below average to average at best. I feel bad saying this but I just don't think that the people who own this restaurant really belong in the business because they did seem nice enough.

I like Wing Wah. They're quick with delivery, give you the total over the phone, are courteous...yep, I like them. But I also like them because of their food. It's good. It's decent take out Chinese. It's all pretty standard here. I like their vegetable dumplings. They make them really thin and delicate, so they fall apart really easily. I hate it when dumplings are encased in several inches of dough. Ugh. Was kinda bummed that the Jade Shrimp had no flavor, but I do like their mooshu vegetable dish.

Not at all like normal Chinese food. General Tso's chicken was basically dry with barely any sauce. The Broccoli was hard, not al dente. Unfortunately the boneless BBQ ribs were also dry and no sauce. Not even on the side. It was just dry pieces of red meat. The pork dumplings had no flavor and the sauce only made them more than edible. Has to be the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. Not just for New York standards. I am talking ever.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
