The wait once we ordered was ridiculous for 2 people must have been at least 30 minutes! The pile up that my husband had was very small, for a meat lovers there was barely any meat in it. My pancakes were okay had to add a lot of butter. The scrapple was mushy! Stay away!! We won't be back!

I loved them before and I love them now. Great prices, service is the same slow. I love going when it's not busy and building my own benidict. The only complaint I have is that they fry their scrapple... really?! You already have beacon on the griddle put it right next to it. NOT HARD.

Best diner in the Langhorne/Levittown area. Good food, good service, big portions. Don't let the outside fool you it's nice on the inside and bigger than you'd think. Coffee is good too!

Absolutely delicious breakfast! My first visit here-brought my MIL who was "difficult" this morning; she wanted something but wasn't sure what plus she wasn't very hungry. Our sweet waitress tried to ply her with suggestions then finally checked with the chef and came out with a freshly baked banana pudding (that was more like a cake really) still warm from the oven, infused with raisins and topped with walnuts with dollops of cream on the side. Mom picked off the nuts because she's Mom but absolutely loved the whole thing and finished it all! I tried a pan thing, the Woodbourne, which was basically an omelette but layered separately into a bowl. Delicious!! Friendly warm staff, welcoming comfy atmosphere, decent coffee, roomy restaurant. Out the door for $15 plus tip. Definitely going back for breakfast!!

Wow so much better than the golden-dawn or garden of eatin. I went there Sunday at Noon was extremely crowded but now I know why. French toast is a game changer eggs cooked to order. Real grits. Bacon your proud of. All drinks in mason jar. Authentic Southern ice tea with free refills and the feel of a small southern homestyle luncheonette in A Yankee town. It just works. Place is clean and decor is Country with old fashion Coke memorabilia. It's like Robert Irvine just left this place and made sure everything is top standard

One star is even to much! Food sucks, servers suck, and the wait time is horrible to get your food! This is not the old Maryanne's diner do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! If the servers would start taking care of their own tables and stop bullshitting with others maybe things would run smoother! They took on to much and certainly can't handle this size restaurant!

The food is fantastic. The wait for it is a bit long but well worth it. The place is clean and the service is good. Coffee is just ok.

Warm greeting by Maryann. Albie is a great attentive server. Typical menu with unique named items. Stale or burnt English muffin on Eggs Benedict. Unable to cut it. Hollandaise sauce is great. Pork roll delicious. Ellis Coffee, can't be beat. Generous half & half not PC's but a small pourable container and that's great when you like extra cream. Pancakes are light & fluffy. Lot of very talkative women in the dining room we are a minority. About 30 women and only 4 men. Everyone of the women insisted on talking and talking and talking ! Albie checked on us frequently and answered a lot of questions about menu items. Enjoyed breakfast but was not happy with the toasted English muffin or the Canadian bacon tough. Pork roll was obvious Taylor and had that unique awesome flavor. Breakfast potatoes were boring. Dry cubed potatoes with no seasonings. I requested them well done with onions but the onions were just dumped on top and no crisp potatoes.

Very good! I had waffles and my daughter had holy connolli French toast. Both were great. Loved the atmosphere and our server was very sweet! Decent prices too. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

We love Maryanne;s. It's like going to Aunt Bea's for breakfast. We frequented the old place, but absolutely love the new place even though it's no longer just down the Street. Food is outrageously good and plentiful. We love Jeanine, Kate, Coral and all the staff. We waited forever for the new opening. WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

As a very long time customer of Maryannes (I followed them from Croydon, and went there for many years), I am disappointed lately. Don't get me wrong, the food is still good! However, it's less personal, and more business these days. The prices have gone up considerably, and things that never used to result in an extra charge are coming on, too. I deeply miss the Maryannes I knew in Croydon. I am sure this is a more lucrative arrangement for the owner(s), but it has become too big. Gone are the days of mismatched mugs and people who knew you. They are doing a booming business, so I guess it is still right for the masses, but particular those who do not know this establishments more humble origins.

I am new to Maryanne's Homestyle Cooking, although I know they had another location in the past. I am glad I finally made it, and that it is now closer to home. This is a modern version of the old style small town luncheonette that was prevalent across the USA in the early and middle part of the last century. It is more than a simple place to have a good meal, but also the unofficial town center, where people meet to discuss their lives, community and nation. It has a warm and comfortable Americana feel to it. I enjoyed my first visit sitting in a booth behind two senior gentlemen who were doing movie reviews and political analysis at a fairly sophisticated level. At least 75 each, they gave nothing away to younger minds. The service was solid with timely walk bys asking if I wanted more coffee. My French Toast was above average, but not among the best I have had. The java was hot and tasty. If there is a weak link in Maryanne's armor it might be the way they approach providing the accompaniments to the dishes served. Their syrup came in a small plastic cup. It seemed to be watered down to be just maple sweetwater, rather than anything close to authentic commercial grade maple syrup. It was completely soaked up by the bread because it lacked the viscosity to sit atop the short stack long enough to allow for cutting and consumption. It made for soggy French Toast half way through the meal. I would gladly pay extra for the choice of syrups. The butter was likewise very thin and airy and had little buttery taste. Maryanne's could be a real HOME run if they decided to provided an upgrade to these items, or at least the choice to patrons. Their prices are very reasonable for the clientele, but even folks on Social Security enjoy a little pampering now and then.

I'm updating this Diner to 5 stars, this is one place I have been going to more then few times. There's so much to enjoy about coming here for breakfast, private parking lot, so you can park your vehicle, and there's always a lot of space. the inside is so roomy with a lot of room to sit. it's quiet. The service is on top of everything. No matter what I order. it's always out within 5 minutes. their server is always back at the table asking me if there's anything I need and keeps pouring me a cup of coffee. Without asking. Their breakfast menu is huge, with so much to choose from. from breakfast specials. to eggs, omelets, french toast, stuffed french toast, reasonable prices. good quality coffee, I had the breakfast special this morning. It was two pieces of French toast two pieces of bacon. French toast was a nice size and bacon had a crisp. And was definitely filling. Basically that is all you need. To enjoy a good breakfast!! I will have to give lunch a try hear one time. Probably just as good as the breakfast.

I really like the philly steak sandwiches they make here. Pretty good for the area and compared to competitors. I'm not that keen on breakfast here and don't know the rest of their menu. It's only open in morning until 3 pm.
