Your classic all-night diner. Ample seating and quick service. Good for families during daylight hours. I was disappointed with the staff and the way they handled some unruly guests. Instead of politely asking the guests to be quiet or settle, they let the rest of us suffer.

This place is great! It's even better that they're the only restaurant around open 24/7. Their staff is ALWAYS friendly, and every time I get a different dish it's delicious. I can't complain about The Hearth. They have food at cheap prices as well.

Just a review on breakfast-I have always had very friendly PA service here. The servers are quick and friendly. The food is what you would expect from a diner. I go here for breakfast food and love the home fries with the crispness on top. The eggs are good, but I like over hard and they can be a little on the runny side. Pancakes and waffles have a good variety of fruit toppings. I am from Jersey so we have pretty authentic diners there, but when I visit my finances parents I come here for a quick breakfast.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!! We always loved this place. We were regulars and took friends and family all the time. A few months ago we went and it was not good at all. So, today we went back to give them another try and it will be the last time there! We got burnt buns, there was a bug crawling in my salad, the french onion soup had no flavor (it was also swimming with grease) and they tried to bring out our soup and meals at the same time. Save your money and go elsewhere. We were so upset and tried to tell them at checkout. She didn't even ask how our food was. When I tried to be nice and tell her how upset we were she blew me off and didn't care. Not even an I'm sorry. Looks like this is the last time we visit the hearth. What a shame.

i used to love this place. it was my go to for monte cristos. we went today, sat at the bar, and it was a huge disappointment. we ordered 2 montes with home fries and 2 eggs medium coffee and water. the food came out and it was visibly unappealing. we got hash browns instead of homefries and they were barely cooked. our eggs were snotty, not even close to medium. the meat was tough and overcooked. the french toast was soggy. i finished my coffee a few bites into our crappy lunch and sat it at the bars edge(universal sign for refill), never got one. i always had good food and service here but this place may never see my business again. and kumm essa closed boo where to get my monte cristo now.

Their breakfast is the best around. The only time I ever come here is when I am half lit so you got to factor that into my review. Regardless their eggs Benedict is phenomenal!!!!! Anytime we ever come here no one ever has a complaint on breakfast it's always so yummy.

When I was in high school I used to think this place was so amazing. I know now that the only reason I thought that was because I was in high school and it was open 24 hours a day. I went back last weekend with my husband for some brunch because we were in town visiting my mom. I have to say, it flat out sucked. The tomato juice was like water (and cost almost $3.00). The "home fries" are just sliced up potatoes. There was no seasoning, no onion, nothing. And they gave you quite a generous portion of the stuff. The toast came out absolutely saturated in butter and was simply inedible. The eggs were...ehh. The worst part was that we spent $25.00 and left hungry. This place is not for me.

Meh... nothing to go running down the streets ranting about. Just the typical small town dinner... you know the one with a 10 page menu but most folks order off of the first two pages.. The service was fast and friendly but the interior is in need of a SERIOUS update. Those dingy; bulky tableside jukeboxes that house music from the late 90's; early 80's are a joke. It's too bad tho.. seems like a place that's stayed exactly the same for the past 25 years.. embrace the future hearth, there's so much potential in this scant town.

Gave the place 2 tries. Breakfast - SOS - seems like they held it back and waited for everyones breakfast to come out together which caused mine to dry out and be served cold. Dinner - ordered the open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. It seriously looked like old shoe leather - no wonder a steak knife came with it to cut it. Mashed potatoes had no flavor and the bread - partly toasted which makes me wonder, was it leftover from breakfast? My boyfriend ordered the ham over filling. There was hardly any filling & the gravy was so salty it had to be scraped off. The server never came back to ask how our meals were. When she did return she asked if we needed boxes as she could clearly see we hardly touched our food. We both declined and asked for the check. She should have checked on us earlier and an astute server would have asked immediately if there was a problem since we barely touched our plates & declined to go boxes. The reason I didn't complain? I had a $20 gift card which covered the bill & I didn't want them giving me a comp meal or anything free because there's nothing that could ever get me to return there. Too many other diners, pizza joints, bar & grills around that have better food & better service. What a dump all around - the place could really use a facelift & a good cleaning as well.

All BAD. Every single time we have went in the food was either cold or mushy, flakey servers, foul mouthed employees that were either more interested in their phone or bad mouthing guests as they left. Never going back in. Ever.
