Can I just say wow?! Those if you who know me understand I'm hard to please. This place is awesome! I came for lunch and ordered stuffed pepper soup.. I must immediately make this at home. It was fantastic! To add to that, I ordered a Ruben panini. Well, first of all it was huge, I mean huge! Most importantly, it was fantastic. Yup it really was. While a bit missed named as it's more like a corned beef special, it was so good I went and got it again the next day. I ate Rubens for lunch for 4 days with left overs. Um, yeah, go here.

They have the best dinner rolls I've ever eaten. Even several top-rated local restaurants purchase rolls from he Hearth Baker. The hoagie rolls, Rye bread, and Farm Italian are second to none. For lunch, go with the mini Italian hoagie . . . You'll be glad you did!

Great product, however the staff is not hygienic at all. I have seen staff putting food in their mouth as they are servicing customers, also they will handle the register touch money and then go ahead with touching food that they sell. Absolutelly gross and unacceptable! Stay away

It's hard to find a better Italian hoagie in Lansdale. All the ingredients are fresh, and the bread, ugh, the bread is delicious. I can't even think of anything else to say, just get the Italian hoagie.

Put simply, it's hard to top the Italian bread that comes out of the ovens in this place. Their rustic Italian loaves and the steak rolls are simply amazing; for me, at least, sandwiches with Hearth Baker bread are still the golden standard to which all sandwich breads must be compared, and virtually all of them come up lacking in some way. They also happen to be dirt-cheap and Hearth produces truly huge numbers of six-inch steak rolls each day, so they're an absolute necessity for the self-catered party. I'll admit to having found better specialty breads in other places; Hearth doesn't even try to make things like pie bread, and the best rye in the area is still in the city, but with that caveat, Hearth is one of the best bakers in the region, and possibly THE best Italian baker anywhere outside the Italian Market itself.

As far as Bread goes. you don't get much better than this. Everything is professionally done and expertly crafted. The rye bread is specially made so that the seeds are ground into the Loaf. It has a phenomenal smell. The steak rolls were absolutely perfect and you will not find any like this anywhere else. The same is true with the raisin cinnamon bread. It's not bread, it's not cake, it's the most amazing insidious cinnamon flavored treats you've ever had. You don't need butter. Go Here. you'll be glad you did.

This is a tough review. On one hand, the hoagies that they make here are so delicious. Honestly, it pains me a little not to go there, but the staff is always so rude! Seriously, the hoagies are never ready when they say that they will be, and if you question how long it's taking, you get an instant attitude. I can't subject myself to that kind of torture, no matter how good the hoagie is. I'll stick to Wawa; at least they smile there.
