Always liked this place, going back to the days when it was at Montgomery Mall, but the service and food on a recent visit on Labor Day were exceptional. Burger was perfect, salad bar was fresh and the waitress was very attentive. The manager even came by and offered to refill an iced tea. A top notch operation overall, and one of my very favorite restaurants.

Awful service. Management should hire mature adults, not kids. The server I had walked around squawking like a parrot and being loud and obnoxious, attempting to sound funny. It was annoying and uneccessary. If I wanted a comedy act, I would have gone to the city. Food was stale, salad bar was filthy. Manager was sitting near the bar playing on his cellphone. I will not be returning.

This Ruby Tuesday is not bad as far as Ruby Tuesday restaurants go, but then again, I haven't had a truly horrible experience at any Ruby Tuesday yet. Thank goodness. I like that they are willing to see what the order system can do. For example, I wanted the Thai Phoon shrimp as an entree instead of an appetizer, so I could add the salad bar. Well, it was possible with the salad bar as a $2.99 add-on! The salad bar itself was adequately stocked, although missing just one or two items I've seen at other Ruby Tuesday locations. (If I remember correctly, Mount Laurel had coleslaw.) Anyway, for this area, it's a fine place for dinner.

Called ahead for dinner and got right in. The rations of biscuits are pathetic but delicous! Food was good and the service was also. Has a new young waitress who didn't know much but she was very nice. Some staff was a little odd but otherwise good since they have a salad bar!

Consistently one of the best sit-down chain restaurants. This one is always clean, has a great salad bar, friendly staff and good food. I go for the salad bar and sliders; I keep coming back.

I have been to several other Ruby Tuesdays in the past and overall they are pretty good for a chain restaurant. When my husband suggested we meet after work I figured it was a good idea since I didn't get to eat lunch that day. Terrible decision! To start, the waiter seemed for be MIA or the first 10 minutes. He took our drink and appetizer order and within two minutes drinks and our Spinach dip were at the table. Awesome timing for drinks...not so much with an appetizer! Now I understand that the dip is most likely a pre-packaged microwaveable thing, but come on! When this quickly "cooked" appetizer arrived, it was cold! To think...something that is ready basically just as the server puts it in is cold...who would have guessed it?! Clearly it was left over from somewhere and had been sitting out. Either that or someone didn't set the microwave to the correct time! After we asked for the dip to be sent back, of course it came back piping hot, which was a plus. Our entrees came, of course, while we were still eating our dip, but at least we had food. After all I hadn't eaten lunch so anything would be good at this point...or so I thought. My cheeseburger (possibly the simplest thing on the menu) was burnt. I ordered medium well because it said on the menu that this would have some pink, but no pink was to be had. There was only char from what I could see and taste. It doesn't stop there, though. The bun was clearly a couple days passed it's expiration date. It was so dry that I could barely swallow it. Added to the burnt burger it was too hard to eat. I got through about a third and decided to cut it off there. Maybe some fries would be good. Wrong again. The fries were stale and cold. It was like everything we ordered was left over from lunch or something. I just wanted to leave at this point. I wasn't going to say anything, just not come back, but the waiter obviously noticed that I ate nothing from my plate and asked if something was wrong, so I had to tell him. He offered a dessert, which was nice of him, but I was too afraid to order anything else. The manager took the burger off our bill and gave us an employee discount as well. Both gestures were very nice, but I still will never go back to this place. HUGE disappointment. Serving stale food is something a restaurant should never do!

Well, even after my poor experience at the Plymouth Meeting location, I decided to stay mum when friends wanted to meet at this location for dinner. And you know what? This one was way better. For starters, I didn't see fuzzy/non-working TV's all over the place. In fact, other than the bar area, I didn't see one at all. And it didn't smell like a dirty kitchen in the dining area. And we had an actual, dedicated server, who was really cheery and pleasant. Furthermore, I avoided an "entree" and just got a burger...and the burger was really good. I've had better (and for less money), but it was cooked as specified and the fries were solid. So why not 4 stars? Well, I hate hate hate hate how they give you ketchup in a little cup. I'm sure they decided that it was "fancier" that way, but there is no way in hades that it is enough ketchup for the "endless" fries they offer. Just give me a friggin bottle of HFC-laden ooze and get over yourself. Rant = over. If you really need to eat at RT's, eat at this one, not the one in Plymouth Meeting. Or avoid it altogether. Whatever.

Review of eating at the bar- we went on a Sat ~7-7:30 and they had a bit of a wait. 1/2 price apps, and discounted drafts (no liquor) and free salad bar w/ an entree. Our bartender/server, Shannon, was very nice and pretty composed, given that she was working like she had five sets of hands. Chef cut sirloin for me and new orleans seafood (tilapia and shrimp) for ye olde DC - both good. Crabcake for an app- get this! Our entrees took forever to make it out of the kitchen, so the bartender advocated for us to get half-off the check. Good meal, but great service.

I am not nor have i ever been a Ruby Tuesday fan. However, we keep getting things in the mail to come try, new menu, blah blah. For my hubs bday, someone gave him a gift card for here. Ok, let's give it a try. We rarely go out, so we were very excited to have a childless night, good food, drinks and company. Let's start with the fact that they put a party of 6 with 2 men that are literally over 250lbs into a booth. Can you say squished? I was annoyed to say the least, However, in the spirit of wanting to have a good time, and the fact that they were pretty crowded, I kept my mouth shut and just went with the flow. We waited over 10 minutes just to be served water. It took nearly 25 minutes to get our drinks!! The reason for the 2 stars and not 1 is because I loved my drink. It was LITERALLY the best part of the night. I got the lavender pear martini. I would get this again. The apps came after almost an hour. We got the sampler, the crab bites, the shrimp fondue and the dumplings. The crab bites were GROSS. It was like that imitation crab not even real crab. The sampler was medicore, everything looked really dried out. The dumplings and the fondue were pretty decent. Fast forward, here comes our food.....At this point I stopped paying attention to everyone at the table because I was so annoyed at what was put in front of me. Literally slop on a plate. I ordered the Asiago Peppercorn Steak "medium-well". On top of the blob of cheese sauce which covered my steak was what appeared to be blood! I expected to cut in to my steak and find it close to raw on the inside. Amazingly, i found the opposite! It was well done like rubber! Hubs got the seafood trio and it was barely there! They served it on a huge plate which just really amplied the 3 scrawny shrimp on a skewer on top of a smushed crab cake and a teeny weeny lobster tail. Needless to say, I sent my plate back. A manager did come over and told me he'd remove it from the bill and offered me something else. At this point, we'd been there for like 2hours and everyone was done, no thanks. No offer of a coupon, free dessert nothing. It was disgraceful, I will never go back!

The Ruby Tuesday on Rt 309 & Rt 202 in Lansdale/Montgomeryville is very good for what it is. It is better than most of the Ruby Tuesday's I have been to and better than the other sit-down chain restaurants in the area. It is a big upgrade over the location in the mall that closed shortly after this one opened. The restaurant is clean, the food is well cooked, the waitstaff is very friendly and the salad bar is kept fresh. If you're looking for a quick meal, somewhere familiar, it's a good choice.

I've been to quite a few Ruby Tuesday's since they redid their restaurants a few years ago. This one has to be one of the worst for service though. For a Saturday afternoon there weren't very many people but for some reason we waited over 10 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. When she finally arrived I ordered a water with lemon and my boyfriend ordered a coke. She came back a while later with our drinks minus the lemon. No biggie, she forgot so I asked again if I could have a lemon. Then she disappeared. When she came over a third time with our biscuits she still didn't have the lemon so at that point my boyfriend was so fed up he went over to the bar and just asked the bartender for a few slices of lemon. As for those biscuits, we got two of them, both the size of a quarter. I have to ask, what is the point? Every other Ruby Tuesday's gives you a basket of decent sized biscuits except here where you get two bite sized ones on a plate. Ok, fine. So at this point we were very annoyed. I was even more annoyed when my burger showed up well done instead of the rare I specifically asked for. I didn't send it back for two reasons, I already waited over 30 minutes for it and I don't usually send food back because you never know what the kitchen will do if you piss them off. So our experience here wasn't the best, mostly because of the server though, who's name is Nicole. I wouldn't advise sitting in her section. By the way, she never even bothered getting me the lemon I asked for THREE times. Oh and the bathrooms were pretty dirty. As a side note, people who bring babies or kids to restaurants really need to learn how to either calm them down or get up and take them outside or to the restroom when they start a crying and screaming fit. Unless YOU are paying for my meal I do not want to hear your baby or your kids crying and screaming!
