I love this place, there really isn't anything I've gotten from here that I've disliked. Golden Chopsticks has been my go-to takeout Chinese restaurant since I moved into the area 3 years ago. It's worth noting I have never eaten in the restaurant so this review has nothing to do with that. Dishes I particularly enjoyed are their Chicken Pad Thai and their Crab Rangoon, and the usual stuff like Roast Pork Lo Mein, Mixed Vegetables, and General Tso's. But really, everything is great. The owners are very friendly too. Definitely recommend.

They are very convenient being next door to the barber shop and nail salon that we visit regularly. We tried them again after being disappointed before. We have always eaten take out, but the place seems clean enough. The beef with broccoli was mostly broccoli and not much meat. The generals chicken was ok, but they both were bland, even after asking for spicy. Crab rangoon was good, as was the beef on a stick. The staff was a bit rude after we returned the broccoli for a refund, but she did comply. Will think twice before visiting again...

Eat in / take out/ delivery. Quick service for the eatin /takeout. Good sized lunch portions, average for taste. And really cost reasonable. $6 for lunch combos. Courteous service. For a lunch place - I don't really expect more. There are better Chinese places around Generally don't keep Ice ... "Take out place"

Chinese take-out at its best. Quick and convenient. I personally like the special lo mein (so addicting), crab rangoons (I know, out of all things), and the hot and sour soup. Others are typical Chinese take-out fare and taste pretty good to me. FYI, lunch specials are from 11am - 3pm. You can choose your proteins (beef, chicken, pork) with either white rice or fried rice OR you can get the combo which includes huge portions and an egg roll for around $4 - $6.

Average food at best. The portions of the combo platters aren't anything to write home about, value-wise. The general tso's that I had was quite dry, barely any sauce, and seemed well overdone. Delivery was promised in 30 to 40 minutes and took well over an hour to receive. I will be looking around at other options the next time I want Chinese food on break.

My family and I have been ordering from here since I can remember. The staff is always courteous, the portions are decent and the food is probably the best Chinese in the areas. The egg rolls are my personal favorite along with the Beef with Broccoli. We usually pick up the food because their delivery is very slow.

Very good Chinese food. Very clean and presentable with the food. Dishes are very neatly put together.

Golden Chopsticks is the only Chinese food restaurant I patronize in the Lansdale area. The food is consistently good, the prices are reasonable, the portions are more than adequate, and the staff are usually quite friendly. What more could one want? My only gripe is that delivery often takes a LONG time, even on slow nights or irregular times. Otherwise, no other place in the area has impressed me so much.

Great place for take out!!! Food is delicious. Period. Pad Thai and Singapore noodles are my two favorites. Sonny, the owner, is very friendly. I'm a happy regular and will stay that way.

Best Chinese in the area, as far as I'm concerned. Ask for the home made hot mustard. Customer service leaves a little to be desired some nights.

I go here about once a week for lunch, if not more. Their Chicken with Chinese Vegetables is unmatched in the area, and their egg rolls are pretty good, too. They have a seating area if you want to eat there, but I usually just do take out. They have a large variety of choices on the lunch special menu, and I don't think I've ever had something there that I wasn't happy with.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
