We use to go to miller ale house on a regular basis but recently the service has dropped to a level that we will not go anymore. This last time we waited a 20 minutes a before the waiter showed up at our table, he was rude throughout the meal, and then the waiter dumped a plate of food on my girlfriend and her daughter and we did not even get an apology from him. At the end we had to request the manager who seemed nonchalant about his waiter who actually was a trainer. Needless to say we are sorry that things are falls king apart there since it use to be a good place to eat.

It is hard to give this place a 5 star or even a 4 star...so I would say 3.75 would be a proper rating for this place. Although if you want a decent place late at night to grab a bite this is a much better choice than the surrounding choices that Langhorne/Levittown/Penndel etc have to offer.

I would give the Ale House 4 stars, but they got rid of one of my favorite things. Sunday beer specials! Being as I work most weekends, Sundays are my nigh to go out and relax. I will tell you where they get 5 stars... The bartenders at the back bar are always congenial, polite, and helpful. The food here is definitely 2.5 star: It's an Ale House! I mean for the price and expectation you should be satisfied. If you want better food go to a better place and pay more money for it.

We go to Miller's at least once a week since it opened. Restaurant is clean and well maintained the staff are courteous and friendly. Food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced. The only issue is parking is difficult at times which is more a testament to their popularity then an actual problem. If your bored with the usual Levittown area bars give them a try.

Tried them a couple times so far, decent food and drink. Not top shelf, but I'd go back. Convenient location on a busy route near Oxford Valley Mall. All in all pretty good for a franchised restaurant.

Cajun chicken pasta was awesome. Beer selection was really good. Servers were on top of it.

I was staying in Yardley for work training and was taken to this fine establishment for dinner one evening. The inside definitely looked like an East Coast style pub with the wooden tables, hooks to put your coats on and stools. Since most of us were not from the area (or PA for that matter) the waitress recommended that we try the Yuengling Lager (PA based brewery) or the Dogfish IPA. Both were on tap. I wanted something less heavy (and hoppy apparently) so I went with the Yuengling. This beer was delicious! It had a nice bite but was also very refreshing. (It became my choice of drink for the rest of the week...) Now onto the grub. For appetizers, I tried the buffalo wing style flavored shrimp - it had a nice spicy kick and was pretty tasty. I also tried the calamari but this was just ok, nothing special. For my main entree, I tried the fish and chips. This was Claim Jumper sized! It had literally 8 pieces of fish and a mound of fries. I could barely finish half but the fish was pretty good. The batter was slightly soggy and could've been seasoned more but other than that, I enjoyed the dish. Will return if I have to go to Yardley again for work!

Waited forever to get a table last night and the wait times always exceeded what we were originally told. They have great drink specials (or is it because I live in DC and have an unusually low standard for comparing drink prices?) and friend and I got a $10 margarita pitcher. However the pitcher was pretty small and only filled just two glasses. There are daily food specials as well and Monday's is a full rack of baby back ribs. I recommend you share this meal with someone since it has a lot of food (albeit only for $10.99). Overall a typical sports bar and probably a good place for guys to hang out while watching a game. A bit on the noisy side and space seems a little limited.

I just wanted to say that Miller's Ale House understands the value and importance of how to treat their customers right. I received two separate calls from staff members apologizing for the level of service I received. They pride themselves on providing not only putting out great food at great prices but they also want to ensure that their staff is 100% on point with service. They have not only made an effort to address my complaint but also to correct the situation. They have certainly restored my confidence in wanting to go back here. I was very impressed with the way they handled my review. I will in fact be returning in the near future.

Usually our meals are very good but last time we went (Sunday), food was a little skimpy. Only one very thin tomato for my sandwich and a shaving of a pickle. Wings and calamari were very good as was the service. Just disappointed with the dressings.

Waited 20 mins after being seated at a high top then moved to a booth and still waited another 5 mins to see a waiter. The place is busy but not packed. I'm barely seeing wait staff walking around. Sounds like they need more waiters!

The menu has a large variety of foods. As a vegan I was able to put together a salad and baked tater to satisfy me. My husband enjoyed the blackened mahi mahi sandwich while my son head Kraft Mac & Cheese with fruit followed by ice cream. Millers looked like it could be a great sports bar.

I don't drink too often so I can't comment on the beer as others have, but the food is decent and the atmosphere is fun! A LOT of TV's... more than any bar/restaurant I've ever been to before, so there's really not a bad seat on game days. It does get crowded on the weekend so there will be a wait. The only thing that makes me hesitant to go there despite the crowd is that there is not even close to the right amount of parking available. Very frustrating.

After my last disastrous visit I was hesitant about returning but it was late and we were driving by so decided to take a chance. Sat at the bar on the patio for the 1st time, great service. The windows were open so actually felt like a patio! Food was decent as always but most important we could hear the game! ! I guess we will be back.

Decent. This place is always packed. I've never went and been seated immediately, on average a 30 minute wait. It's hard to find a parking space too. Their food is mediocre but they always have a special on pitchers of miller which is nice. If you want to watch the game, this place will be packed with a loooong waiting time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

my my what a few years has changed. This place is disgusting. The food was so bad. The service not great just ok. when it first opened the food was delicious and everything was top notch. Now not at all. Just a group of young kids who have no idea what good food should taste like so i guess the owners figure why bother to make it good. Never ever again. I would have rathered thrown my money away.

Great beer selection! The seafood is always fresh... Friendly service, perfect place to watch a game and grab a quick bite to eat!

The food was ok, and the 12 oz. ribeye was pretty good. The service was subpar. I'm still waiting for my bill after 25 minutes. The waitresses are impolite and bartender is apathetic. Enter at your own risk of bitching out later.

Standard large sports bar, decent beer selection but there are better beer bars within 10 minutes drive. Food is standard bar food.

  • Meera K.

I go here with my friends sometimes, I like it because it seems the other bars around here close way to early and this one stays open late. Their drinks aren't the greatest and are very weak. But it's usually either a hit or miss. But I do enjoy going there from time to time.

Last Night was my 3rd time trying to get into this place. The first 2 times the place was so packed that it was over an hour wait. we got there around 6pm on a Saturday night, two people and we had to wait about 40 minutes. There were A LOT of people with small children, which is no wonder as the kiddies menu items were all 3.99! The cocktails are also pretty cheap considering most alcohol in chain establishments are expensive, I had a bahama moma and although it was fine for me, the alcohol was definitely watered down. The dinners were moderately priced, 20 oz porter house for under 20 bucks is good for me. Other than potato and veggie, every thing else is extra. All together with appetizer, Dinner for two, drinks (non-alcohol) it was about 60 bucks including tip. Not a bad place, the food was ok, service was ok. but be ready to wait no matter what time you go there for dinner. by the time we left at 8pm, it was an hour and a half wait.

2 for $3 pbr pounders, zinger anything, spinach dip. Definitely the spinach dip. Call ahead for a hightop for the weekend, it's usually packed. Good place to watch games and eat. They need to do something about parking however.

Pretty solid food. Generic sports bar with average sports bar food. Decent beer selection. Decent service. They have a nice outdoor seating area that is nice in the summer. Worth checking out, but just don't expect too much. Update 5/3/2012 I tried their jambalaya a couple days ago. Crazy salty served with weak garlic bread and it was repeating on me for hours. Don't try. I had given this place 3 stars. This meal has caused me to drop it to 2 stars.

Stopped in late one night to watch a Thursday night game and grab a beer. Found out they have food specials from 10-midnight and got their quesadillas. They were ok. I would go back for a sports game and some beers, but wouldn't come here if I was hoping for a great meal.

Whet here with the family after going to Sesame Place and was more than happy with the food and service. Found the food to be better than the near by TGI Fridays and Ruby Tuesdays. The food is typical for a bar, burgers and fried stuff. We rocked the chips & salsa (includes cheese salsa), burger and salad. I wouldn't suggest the salad but the burger and chips were good comfort food. We didn't have any problems with the service like the other reviewers mentioned. Although it wasn't very busy at 4:30 when we went.

Other restaurants should use Miller's as a guide on how to make great nachos. They are layered & you get almost everything in one bite. I say almost because the guac and sour creme are added after they come out of the oven. Food was good. Service was excellent. Our waitress was Kristina. She was pleasant, fast and knowledgeable. We will be back!

Don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy this place! Food is always good and very filling. Big portions. Great bar food. Service usally spot on. Tons of TVs all around. Their lunch specials are wonderful! I got the Dad's Meat Loaf for lunch one dad and couldn't believe the size of it. It was HUGE! And for only $4.99! We just keep coming back. So glade this is apart of Langhorne, PA.

Dropped in to enjoy a brew or two and was sorely disappointed with the bartenders. I actually waited at the bar for a solid half hour (I'm being completely serious) without even eye contact from the bartenders before completely giving up on drinking altogether. While I did bum a few drinks off some friends (the entire place was packed with local 20 somethings late night) I can't say I was impressed with the Ale House, although I will commend them for a decent beer selection. The whole inside of the restaurant was open and pretty much split down the middle with a large bar. The atmosphere was loud as it was very busy and full of tvs. Parking was also a problem, I had to park in a business next door just to get in the place. I'm not sure if this is just due to it being rather new or there being a lack of good bars in the area. Can't speak for the food, but I can't give more than 2 stars with the type of service I got at the bar. It's Langhorne for the love of zeus, not LA!

Tried this place for dinner because it was near the hotel where I'm taking the family to Sesame Place. The booth they gave us could have fit 8 adults so there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The server Dawn, was very good and the food was also approved by all. We started with the nachos as the other reviewers advised. Thanks for the tip! My wife got a apple-walnut salad that she said was good. My son got the kids mac-n-cheese that he devoured. My 3 year old daughter ate some clam chowder and I had the cajun chicken pasta. The menu said the pasta came with an alfredo sauce (this sauce seemed thin and hardly creamy) but whatever they used was good anyway. We were surprised at the low price of the drinks. We were shocked that the bill was only $51! And we got 2 rounds of drinks. Definitely a place I'd like to meet my buddies at after work at home.

Such a great value, and a really fun place to go with family and friends. If you don't like noise or crowds I would suggest going elsewhere though. This place is always busy and they have a lot of TVs with a lot of sports playing on them. It's great for me on game nights because I can spend time with the in-laws while also watching The Phillies. We go here several times a month and hope to continue enjoying it.

It's called the Alehouse for a reason. You may want to get drunk before trying to deal with the same crap I put up with here at lunchtime. I've been here a couple times with a few of my friends for some cheap beers and a nice dinner. As far as drink prices go, I'm very pleased. As far as service goes... I feel like every time I come here I get some airhead waitress who doesn't know left from right and ends up confuses herself and us once the bill comes (once we had to actually break down the bill for our waitress, calculators and all, just to prove she charged us multiple times for drinks and our entrees.) I don't know, maybe I just have bad luck. What motivated me to write this review today was the deplorable service my boyfriend and I experienced yesterday. Like I said, it wasn't the first time for me, but it was my boyfriends first time there. We were both looking forward to reasonably priced, good (if not, at least edible) food. When we first walked in, the hostess was nowhere to be found. We waited a few minutes, figuring she was seating someone else, until we saw her in the back chatting with a coworker. She finally noticed we were waiting and seated us fairly quickly. The waitress came over a couple minutes later and we got our sodas fairly quickly as well. It was still slightly early so neither of us were drinking yet. I soon regretted this decision as our waitress took another 20 minutes just to take our order. The whole time we watched her tend to the two-top tables on either side of us just fine. It would have been an ok wait if I was busy getting drunk, but unlike most of the crowd there, I don't start drinking before 3. Our appetizers came out a little while later and were great, but we were thankful they served us big portions because once our entrees came we realized the mistake we made. My boyfriend's sandwich (The Big Red, I think it was) was barely edible. It was supposed to be akin to a spicy chicken sandwich, but whoever made it doused it in this thick vinegary tomato sauce. There was so much he could barely even taste the chicken underneath the whole mess. As for mine, I ordered 35 fried shrimp, which was supposed to come with hush puppies and a side. The shrimp were hard, cold, and so deeply battered I couldn't even taste the shrimp. There were TWO hush puppies lost somewhere in my pile of "shrimp", as if by accident. My side of vegetables were limp and cold but I could have at least expected that. Even though it was shitty, we both thought perhaps we could salvage this meal later at home, so we asked for two boxes AND the check. It took our waitress another 20 minutes just to grab us boxes. We had to ask her a second time to get us our check, but not before her asking us whether we wanted dessert. Yeah RIGHT! Anyway, I'll probably go back, but only if I'm certain I can be drunk enough to eat the crappy food and deal with the horrible service.

Miller's Ale House is my go-to place when we don't have anywhere else to go, or if we want to go to a place to just hang out and drink cheap. When you get Yuengling drafts for $2 all day every day? That equals a win. During the week, after 10pm they have really good deals on food. $5 food, and an array of drink specials. I'm usually there at least once a week. This restaurant is the longest standing restaurant in this location, and I hope it doesn't leave any time soon. It's a good place for people to meet new friends or hang out with old.

Visited the Miller's Ale House for dinner this evening with my husband and teenage daughter. We were quickly seated and our server, TJ, promptly came to take our drink order. I ordered a margarita, which was average, and my husband ordered a mojito which he said was good. Our appetizer, guacamole and warm chips, was served within a few minutes. Then our meals arrived @ten minutes later. We were all satisfied with what we ordered- Baby back ribs; Southwest Bistro Steak Salad; and Buffalo Shrimp. TJ was an attentive waiter and checked in with us several times while we ate. We finished our meal with the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure dessert which was a slice of ice cream cake large enough for the three of us to share. It's fun, reasonably priced, and we usually have very good service. This was not our first visit here, and it won't be our last.

I eat here regularly for lunch and I recommend it. It's got the usual suspects with bar fare but I think the food is better than most. I usually get decent service also. We have gotten to know some of the wait staff and they treat us pretty well. My friend loves their french onion soup which is probably why we end up here for lunch a lot. I do like the atmosphere with all the sports tv's and the high top tables. I am going to get their philly cheesesteak next time I go though since it was highly recommended by another yelp reviewer here. Maybe I will end up there today. I was there on Monday and got a full rack of baby back ribs for $11. That's a pretty good deal and they were very good. This is a fun place to go for some casual dining. I don't live near where I work so I have never had dinner here. My comments are strictly about the lunch experience.

Do not waste your money here! Every time i try to give this place another change, i get disappointed once again. The food is okay, as long as you don't order anything that requires actual cooking ( more than dropping it in the frying oil). The worst part about this place is the service, with rude hostesses, inattentive servers and inexperienced bar tenders. My server began to argue with me when i told him that my drink order was incorrect. after incorrectly making my drink two more times, i resorted to ordering the three ingredients for my drink separately so that i could make it myself.

I was not expecting much after reading the reviews, but I liked Miller's Ale House. I had the Mahi fish tacos. They were served with beans and rice. They were a little like chain food, but not bad. They have lots of drink specials and a variety of craft beers. We went on a Wednesday night and although their were many cars in the lot, we got right in. When we left there was a line. It's hard to say why because there were plenty seats. I could not help but wonder what a Friday night would be like. Big crowds I'll bet. I would go again.

As a local, I've visited Miller's Ale House frequently with friends and coworkers when there's a big sporting event. Go Eagles! If the beer/drink specials, big screen TV's and bar food was may main goal of visiting, they'd probably get 4 stars. Unfortunately, there's also sit down dining... I've eaten here three times and chalked up my first two below-average visits to the restaurant being busy or understaffed. Sadly, they appear to be always understaffed and the quality of the food and preparation is below average. My most recent (and last) sit-down visit was on St. Patrick's Day. I was excited to see Irish specials such as corned beef ruebens, corned beef and cabbage, and Irish stew. The Guinness ($4.95) was also flowing, which is a wonderful thing. Within 10 minutes, my party was seated. So far so good. We ordered the Zingers (boneless buffalo chicken) and the spinich dip with chips. This is a very safe start since it's essentially bar food. Sadly, it took about 15 minutes for what should be prepared spinach dip and some tortilla chips. My corned beef rueben (side of fries) arrived about 20 minutes later. Although tiny in size by NY deli standards, it looked delicious. Then I took a bite in to the fattiest corned beef I had ever eaten... or attempted to eat. I looked over at my eating companions' plate and saw that their corned beef and cabbage meal was lined with thick, white fat, which was probably what my baby Rueben contained as well. I spent the next few minutes, deconstructing my sandwich, in an attempt to carve off as much fat as possible. I'll spare you the details of what the little pile of blubber on my plate looked like. The grand finale of this awesomely bad meal was the Irish coffee that I ordered. It came to me about 15 minutes after ordered in a clear coffee mug with no whipped cream on top. Seriously? It's St. Patrick's Day and you can't get a simple Irish coffee right? The waitress offered to bring out a cup of whipped cream on the side, but at that point, I was defeated and didn't want to wait another 15 minutes for that, too. In summary, if you're going to Miller's to drink and watch the game on their many big screens, go for it. The two stars that I gave Miller's is for that alone. If you're looking for a quality sit-down meal with friends or family, I'd think twice. There are many, many reasonably priced establishments in a 1 mile radius that will do a far better job.

I go to Miller once a week with my girl friend, and she and I love it there. My favorite thing on the menu are the Zinger Fajitas which are amazing. We also ask for the same server whenwe go. Her name is Amy, tell her Tim and Sheri sent ya.

We're here on an almost monthly basis, and for the most part have had consistently tasty food. Sometimes the nightly special is disappointing, but the sandwiches and loaded fries are always top notch. Onion soup and clam chowder are recommended. Lobster bisque is good too. The mojitos are extremely refreshing! Large booths are comfy, atmosphere is somewhat noisy. Lots of tv's so you won't miss your favorite game.

It is a shame, because they have the best and I do mean the best Philly Cheesesteak you will ever sink your teeth into! They slice a sirloin steak, thickly and then grill those babies. They add grilled onions and mushrooms and serve it all on a crusty garlic roll, with provolone melting all over it. The meat is tender, juicy and it actually has flavor. They have dubbed it "Miller's Steak Sandwich". I'm taking this particular Miller's Ale House down a notch. I stand by my original statement, the Miller's Ale House & Raw Bar in Philly is far superior to this one! Why? Because the service here stinks! If the ex-Philadelphian, who created Miller's Ale House were to read the reviews on this particular Ale House, he would be on the next plane out of Florida, where he resides and where the Miller's Ale House chain was started. Last evening we experienced the worst restaurant service we have ever encountered! I am not going to mention Bill's name, so as not to embarrass him. First off, they were running specials galore for St. Patty's Day and I would have gladly had a Reuben, Irish Potato Skins or Corned Beef & Cabbage, had I known they were available! When did we find out about them? Well after our order was placed. Maybe instead of 50 TVs you should have more boards up to advertise your specials since servers are too lazy to care. I did luck out with my cheesesteak, but that is on the menu all the time and the Reuben and Irish Potato Skins are not. For our appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo Shrimp tossed in a spicy garlic sauce, which comes with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side. They were excellent. We also had the Smoked Whitefish Dip with jalapenos, since we love it so much. The place was dead, there were only 2 servers on and a bartender. The 2 servers were more interested in clowning around in the open kitchen window with the cooks, than they were in servicing their guests. The apps. took 20 minutes to come out. He never checked back from the time he took our order to the time he served our appetizers. Instead we got to witness hideous restaurant behavior with our food. Once the appetizers were served, we did not see him at our table until the entrees were presented. In the meantime hubby's 20 ounce Porterhouse was on the grill. He ordered it rare to medium rare. He got it medium well and if it was 12 ounces, i would be surprised! The server stood right there and asked hubby to cut into his steak, which he did and the server said "oh, it is well done, what do you want me to do"? Hubby was very disappointed and said he would just eat it, since it took 20 minutes to get apps. and then at least another 20 to get our entrees. The waiter insisted on taking it back and guess who ate it! The server! I love open kitchens and it just makes one wonder. Five minutes later steak sushi came out. Hubby cut it and started to eat it and I said you can't eat that, it is raw! I then asked to speak to a manager. Mind you an assistant manager was hanging around this open kitchen window the entire time. Instead Matt, the manager came over, who we had not seen prior to all of this. He was very compassionate and gave us a gift card, which we refused and then offered to pick up our check, which we refused as well. The manager insisted on taking the steak off and slipped a gift card in our take home bag. My fries were raw and I do mean still frozen in the middle. I walked outside, just to get a breath of fresh air and to chill. When I came back in, I had a new basket of fries. The food is good. The service stinks! Do go to the Miller's Philadelphia Ale House & Raw Bar, they care!

Well another disappointing place to eat, I have tried this place 3 times food decent menu but sub par over all , service sucks-very slow, watch our server carry our drinks to two tables before getting them after 5 minutes of waiting. The booths are big but beware no cushions sitting on wood, they apparently don't care for you to be seat comfy while you eat, guessing their theory is drunks don't care what they sit on as long as they are sitting, but food patrons have to endure sitting on wood yet the bar stools are cushioned. Then you get to watch the young kids at the host stand BS'ing and crowding the door for real patrons, then as you are trying to enjoy your food, there goes the music as they crank it up to the point were you have to raise your voice and it was not even loud before hand. Over all will not visit this place again, it seems if you are a young punk kid or enjoy a sports bar this is for you, but if you are looking for a good place to eat skip here. Forgot the best part you get to endure smoke in your face as you walk in and walk out as they post ash trays so we all can enjoy the stench of smokers disgucting habits. *****Update I have gone back a few times and food has been better not my favorite place, but have had a few really nice servers. Still find it appauling to have to walk through smokers outside, why would you put ash trays outside so you get smoke going in and going out disgusting.

The atmosphere is casual and wait was probably 15 minutes. If the wife had not loved her Long Island Ice Teas and if our server had not been so good, we would have demanded a free meal. The wait was ok, not unexpected. The appetizer was extremely disappointing. We ordered zinger tacos which arrived ice cold so we sent them back. 90 seconds later they brought the same plate back still cold. Not to mention we expected something with title of Zinger to have a bit of spice to it, but it was very bland tasting. My babyback ribs were the worst I have ever tasted, didn't even eat half of them. The wife had the saddest looking portions of mahi mahi we ever saw. They were obviously the frozen type you microwave before serving, not fresh tasting at all. Suffice to say, neither of us finished our meals and if we had seen a manager at all, we would have let him know how poor the food was. We read a lot of reviews while waiting on our table, not sure how so many gave the place more than 3 stars. Must be the drinks, at least they didn't screw up the LIT's, but the martini's have a lot to be desired here too. We will never be back here!

It's tradition to go here on Sundays during football season since the Patriots games are not always on TV. I enjoy some of the food even if it's not that special. They are usually pretty friendly and get to know us by the end of the season.

My favorite local restaurant is closed on Mondays so I decided to give this place a whirl as a meeting for me and a friend. We had an appetizer, a couple of drinks, and some seafood dishes. We were both very very pleased. Everything was yummy! The atmosphere was a bit too loud, but other than that, well worth stopping in once in a while.

This restaurant is under the Miller's Ale House brand name, but they've renamed this particular location the Langhorne Ale House. It opened up in the past few months, and it's a great place to watch a game or have a couple beers with some friends. I went here for lunch, and the first thing that stunned me was the number of plasma TVs on the walls. We asked hostess how many were in the store and she said 43, of which I was initially skeptical, but a brief look around will reveal the truth... they like sports here. There's not a bad seat in the house to catch the Phils or the Iggles. The food was pretty standard fare, and very reasonably priced. I had their signature Zingers for an appetizer -- boneless Buffalo wings. The medium sauce had a nice kick to it - exactly what I would call "medium," though some tamer tongues may find it too spicy. Then I had the ribs for the main course. The meat was very tender, and the BBQ sauce was fine (though lacked any kind of heat, which I prefer for my rib sauce). The quality of meat was poor though - very fatty. The service was just fine, with friendly wait staff and hostesses. I highly recommend this as a place to watch a game over a few beers. Don't expect super excellent food, but overall a very satisfactory experience.

Langhorne needed a place like Miller's Ale House. They're always open late and their kitchen closes at 1:30am! Their location is a bit craptastic though as it's pretty difficult to actually get there. You can see the place (big red neon sign) but the roads in that area right near the mall/Target are just absurd. Once you're there however you'll be pleasantly surprised with tons of seating, TVs, and drinks. As the name states this is an ale house so don't expect restaurant-style atmosphere (read: do not bring your kids here). Do expect a GREAT place to come in and watch the game while having a few drinks with your friends. My friends and I went over on opening night so I was a bit hesitant to try any of the food that might be difficult to cook. I figured new cooks might mean they're still not used to the menu items. But the bartender told me that the staff is quite good and to order anything. So I went for the Fish Tacos. They were awesome. They had a great spicy kick to them and arrived pretty quickly for it being so crowded. I was told next time to try the Zingers as an appetizer so I'll be sure to order them next time. There aren't many places in the Langhorne area with a good beer selection. Hulmeville Inn and Isaac Newtons are the only ones I know of in the area that are worth visiting for the beer. Well you can add Miller's Ale House to the list! They have 35 taps and bottled beers too. They have tons of your usuals but they also have a good selection of local breweries and they do a great job on keeping seasonals on tap. They also have some really great deals on beer, $2.95 Leinenkugels all day! I think the only "full price" beer I had was a Hooegarden. They also had a really cheap deal on pitchers of Miller Lite ($5) or $2 bottles all day. If I still lived in the Levittown area this would be my new local sports bar. I'm out in Jamison now but when I'm back in the area I'll definitely be stopping into Miller's Ale House.

This place rocks. I frequented these bars in Florida many years ago. I was ecstatic when I learned they were coming to the philly area. 36 beers on taps, with specials daily. Good food and t.v.' s everywhere, making it a great sports bar. You can't go wrong. It does get very busy, so you might consider going at an off time.

Good beer selection and they always have $5 domestic pitchers all day. I'm not a big fan of their food.

I like Miller's but it is always packed! The food's not bad and the booze is affordable. Waitstaff has always been friendly. I thought maybe BW3's would take some business away so I can get a seat at the bar but that place is awful.

Let me preface this with the disclaimer that I wasn't having a very good day, I was starved when I got there and might have been a tad cranky...that said, I walked in at 8:00 pm for dinner. It was busy but I could see open tables but I was told I'd have to wait to be seated. So I noticed they do take out and grabbed a menu thinking that might go faster. The hostess was too busy chatting with her friend to take the order so I went over to the bar. After waiting a bit someone took the order. I got a filet, sweet potato fries and veggies. My order came out, the guy dropped off my bill and walked away. I put my card out with the bill and waited long enough for the guy next to me to say I had waited long enough and should just take the food and go. At this point, someone finally decided to cash me out. Kind of annoying. Got home, the steak was great, the fries were soggy from waiting too long and the veggies were just OK (steamed broccoli, to be expected). I'm not sure I'd go back.

Pretty slim pickings around sesame place if ur looking to expand out of the realm of chain restaurants. Found this place and I wouldn't consider it great, but decent and an improvement over the chains. Went on a Tuesday night, which happened to be a "kids eat free"night which is nice if ur in town for sesame place. Special of the night was prime rib which was good. Very salty, but good. Chicken Nachos were awesome. My only complaint as an avid beer drinker is if ur going to call urself an ale house you should put some time and energy into your offerings and be proud of what u serve. American light beers have no place here yet consume their menu and take up half their take out fridge? They have a few good drafts, dogfish, victory, but all in all pretty rough selection. How about featuring some of the great PA breweries?

My wife and I eat dinner here regularly, particularly during sporting events and UFC fights. The food is top notch pub food. Certainly if you are looking for gourmet, this is probably not the place. But if you want a great atmosphere, good food, a lot of TVs, great beer selection -- then is is the perfect place to spend the evening. Finally, Captain Jack's Buried Treasure is one of my all time favorite deserts.

I've been here a few times. The service has be just ok. But this past time it was far from ok. We ordered the chicken nachos, which do not mention onions on the menu, and there were onions in with the chicken. Since I don't eat onions, it was not edible. I finished my drink and our waiter did not come back to the table once to see if I needed a refill. It was a Tuesday afternoon and we were one of only about 5 tables seated. As I looked around at about 8 staff members, all they seemed to care about is hanging out and talking with each other rather then actually working. I find it inexcusable and infuriating that for 15 minutes I waited before finally someone (not our waiter) came up and asked if we needed something. At that point I was done my meal, angry, and just wanted my check to leave. She sensed we were not happy and the manager came up looking to make peace but at that point I didn't want to deal with it. Where was he when his staff sat around gossiping?? He took the appetizer off the bill but it was too little, too late. NOT going back to Millers.

Obviously understaffed at night, but the best beer selection around. Food is mediocre, but for bar food it works. Look out, cops are always watching people leave the parking lot.

I really, really want to like this place. There are not many places like it in the Lower Bucks area. Great beer selection, excellent specials on food & drink, spacious, lots of tvs for watching sports, outdoor seating. The food is well priced and a good selection, but not very tasty. The apps aren't bad and pair well with beer, making a nice place to just chill with some friends and watch a game - BUT... the service is downright awful. I've been here about 5 or 6 times, each one the same. Takes 15 minutes before someone even comes to take a drink order. They'll bring the drinks 10 minutes later, disappear, and then you have to hunt them down to put your food order in. Once the food comes, forget about it. You won't see your server until you have to hunt them down for the check. Generally you'll find your server across the restaurant flirting with someone of the opposite sex. For the most part they are nice, albeit a little flaky. however, during one occasion I went with my boyfriend and his dad for a drink and some oysters on a nice, warm night. Our server was a snotty little b*tch, to say the least. After looking us in the eye about 4 different times and serving all the tables around us, she STILL never came to take our drink order. We finally got up and asked her to come to our table. My boyfriend ordered the oysters and made the mistake of asking her where they were from. She looked puzzled and could not comprehend the question, so he repeated it, nicely. She spouted off, "don't talk to me like that!" After that she refused to come to our table unless summoned. She slammed the check on the table, ran our card and slammed that on the table as well, and refused to even look at us. Extremely inappropriate. We are not the kind of people who EVER talk to managers about service, but this time we did. My boyfriend is even in the restaurant business and understands the stress of it all, but there was no excuse for her behavior. Sadly, we probably won't go back unless we just sit at the bar for a few beers...all Miller's is really good for, honestly.

so let me start off by saying this experience wasnt typical of the times i go there, normally i would give this place 2 or maybe even three stars....... sooo, the last time i visited the ale house(5/26) i went with a group of friends for someones birthday it was slightly busy but not packed by any means.. after getting to our table we noticed that the flatware was filthy(i can upload pics if anyone is interested) and only 3 sets for a group of 5 people. after waiting for about 15 minutes or so we where finally seen by our waitress. she took our orders brought us some of our drinks back and then took another 10-15 minutes or so to bring us out the rest of our drinks. at which time she took our food order and notified her about the dirty flatware and the lack of sets........ and then we did not see her for an extended period of time(45 mins, during which time she did not return to see if we wanted more drinks or anything of the nature), the food was finally brought out, she never stopped back by to see how our food was or if the orders where even right, we had to end up borrowing flatware from another table that where just there drinking..... after eating and shooting a few games of pool we could not track our waitress down for anything.... after asking many other waiters and waitresses to send our waitress by with a check she finally came by and then no more then 2 minutes later was back at our table giving us attitude and asking us to pay her... lets just say her tip was under one dollar and i don't plan on going back to the ale house anytime soon

Got the Salmon and Broccoli. Broccoli was under cooked, basically raw, Salmon was ok though. Comparatively I could go to Bonefish Grill and spend less money and get better food. I've tried their burger and fries, also lack luster. Burger has almost no flavor and is always well done even though I ask for medium or medium well. Seems like they use a generic frozen beef patty so that's probably why it has no flavor. Fries are usually overcooked and dry. I've had the zingers and chicken strips, always dry. If you like large portions, of over priced, improperly cooked food, Miller's is the place for you.

This is the type of bar a sports fan dreams of....or better yet his wife hopes for. You see Miller Ale house, unlike perhaps a local divey sports bar offers some good food, a variety of drinks and even some amazing chocolate cake! Having come a few times to watch an Eagles game with my hubby, Miller is what got me into football. You see the crowd is CLEARLY invested in the Eagles, but super friendly and a good time. We generally sit by the bar, where the bartenders are super nice, and do a great job in remembering your drink and keeping your glass filled. I don't come here to get anything but bar food, so don't get ambitious. My go to plate is probably the unhealthiest thing you could ever eat....the Zinger Mountain Melt. It is a GIANT portion of loaded fries (bacon and cheese) with lots of Zingers (fried chicken) hidden in the melt. My all time favorite sauce is the sweet chili thai...trust me, go nuts and make a friend to share it with. Otherwise, if you are rolling solo or just in the mood for some meat, the Bistro Burger is the way to go; nice and big, meaty and comes with whatever side you want. Overall, the place has a TV literally 2 inches apart from the next, you can see a million games at once, but the best time to go is during an Eagles game. Fireball shots are pouring and beer buckets are clanking! Drinks are very reasonably priced and they have daily specials like $8 beer buckets or $3 shots of fireball to keep you spending. This has definitely become my sports center....go eagles!

I went to Miller's in oxford valley yesterday & ordered my chicken parm. & the chicken was so greasy, i can tell it was not drained after it came of the fryier they just dumped it on my plate. Ive been going to miller's for years & in the past 3 month's they've been going down. I am not happy.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. 10x better than Buffalo Wild Wings, the wings here are one of the best I've ever had. Service is great, servers are very friendly, and the food is always good. They have a bunch of things to choose from.

Great restaurant!!! I've had the spinach dip and the chicken and fries . They are delicious!!! I've also Had their fried shrimp which is really good especially if you have a seafood craving & they give a decent portion for the meal with two sides. I've also had their tacos which I love so much the shrimp is cooked great and the beans & rice that comes is very tasty. I think the dessert is really delicious as I have had the big brownie sundae . I'll definitely be coming back and recommending the restaurant to my friends. It was a overall great experience.

My favorite ale house branch! This one has plenty of seats, very nice bartenders and super fast service. I've never once had a bad meal or time here. The recent upgrades to the patio are awesome and this is a great place to go to after work. Love the fact that the glasses they serve water in are huge! Nothing worse than waiting forever for a water refill at places when they're busy!

WOW, whoever said they had received the best service ever HAD to have been there on Opposite day! Should have turned around and left when we made it to the hostess stand. The girls up front were not welcoming to say the least, and had a bit of haughtiness to them. We were seated pretty quickly, and waited ~10 minutes for the server to arrive. Not really a big deal, but she wasn't that busy, she was just fluttering about. Ordered drinks and appetizers, which took another 10 minutes to some out, which typically wouldn't be an issue, but follow with me here. the appetizer was freezer burnt AND microwaved. At the most, 3 minutes to prepare and throw on the plate. The freezerburn was exceptionally bad, so much so that when we notified the waitress, she said "Are you going to finish these, because I'd like to take them back and show them to the manager" She whisked away with the plate and basically never returned. two other servers brought our meals out. The meals were OK, nothing outstanding and my chicken was a bit rubbery, obviously another microwaved treat. The original server stopped the second the food was on the table to check in, then disappeared again. Once we finished our meals, the server showed up to ask if we wanted dessert, which we declined and QUICKLY brought the check. The funny part about this was the fact that the freezerburnt appetizer was still on the bill. Instead of an argument we decided to pay the bill and leave a dollar tip. Save the outdated, microwaved meals for home.

If you're looking for a place to watch the game, chow down on decent wings (Zingers) and hang in a casual bar... this place will do. I generally prefer a non-chain location, but when your NFL team isn't local it can be tough to find a place to watch them play. This chain far surpasses Buffalo Wild Wings in atmosphere and food. They also have a very organized breakdown for seating to accommodate fans across the spectrum. The service was good and the patrons were well-behaved... no complaints.

Great place to watch a game and get good deals on beer. That is it........the service is ahh.......the food is ahh......I ordered a cheesesteak and it was all roll.......where's the beef.........the portions have shrunk in the past couple of years........this is an ahh.......best case.

Hello.. I went to Millers on 7-30-2015 at 300pm. Let me start by saying that I've been to this establishment a lot because that's where me and my wife have our date day. Today I've had the most horrible experience. I ordered the flat iron steak with the boom boom shrimp. I specified to my waitress who is always nice...a dark haired woman who is always on point that I wanted my steak medium well with a little pink inside. I should have known something was wrong when my meal took longer than normal to arrive and when it came out the shrimp was not on the plate. I took a few bites and the steak was very tough and hard to chew..years ago I would have shrugged this off but I'm tired of these businesses taking my money and me not getting what I paid for. I told manager that I would be happy to pay for another steak however they left me sitting there for an additional 15 mins after they took my plate away. I thought that I was getting my meal back being as though they took shrimp and green beans away. I told manager again and he tells me that he thought that I didn't want anything else..I just left frustrated and still hungry.. My wife did get her food however my experience was bad and I'm just sick of these businesses. They have there mind on everything but the job at hand...I won't be returning.

This is definitely one of my favorite eateries in the lower bucks area-- good food and service. It is a bar&grill, so it does get loud when there's a game on, so don't bring the grandparents ! I really like the French onion soup and nachos to start out with. A major plus for me is their massive sized glasses, I don't have to wait for the waiter/waitress to come back for refills. For lunch/dinner entrees they have really good salads, which come with ample amounts of chicken, very good sandwiches( my favorite is the chicken cheesesteak), as well as steaks. Additionally, they have great specials going on during the week.

We only had their zingers, which were good. We chose this place over Buffalo Wild Wings because of Wild Wings lack of an appetizing menu. The set up was great to watch football, they had designated areas for each game where all of the fans for those teams can hang out together and watch the game. The server was friendly and attentive. They have a large craft beer selection, which was a plus.

Great atmosphere. But just a side note their lettuce is pre bagged lettuce. I just suggest that they use fresh lettuce! Taste so much better! Most other food is good though!

The food here was a real let down. Having experienced the food from the location in Northeast Philadelphia, I had expected fresh-tasting, flavorful food. I ordered the seafood platter, grilled rather than fried. What I ended up with was a disappointing mess that I could have done a better job of at home--and I'm no chef. That seafood was more flaccid than a drunk date! It seemed as though they had thawed and microwaved frozen shrimp and scallops. It made for a wet, rubbery, inedible mess. AND the scallops weren't even warm when my plate arrived. I sent the plate back, asking for a re-do (yeah, at the risk of spit in my food, I know). They warm and return the exact same food. I bit and cut arrows into some of the fries, those were returned as well. So, the manager comes over and tells me that he was unhappy with the quality of the plate. [me: me too!] He promises to send over some fresh sweet potato fries as consolation. I wait an hour for fries that were more burnt that the ones originally on my plate. I give two stars for customer service. Our waitress was great. Even the consideration from the manager came from the right place but the execution failed miserably. The third star is for my margarita. Without which, I may have been writing this from a jail cell for disorderly conduct of some sort. I would not cross the Ben Franklin to try this place again. Next!

Miller's Ale House is a chain out of Florida with outlets from Nevada/Arizona, to right here in River City. It sits on Rt. 1 (Southbound side) in Langhorne right up against Oxford Valley Mall. It is easy to miss. Perhaps, it should be. It is basically a sports bar with televisions abounding, large beer offerings (the usual suspects in national brands, plus some better known smaller breweries. The food is what we have come to expect from similar houses - lots of fried food, burgers, wings, salads, even an occasional lobster has been seen sitting at the bar. It is all basically okay, but nothing worth going back for a second time, unless you find the bartenders or waitresses to your liking (then you are not going for the food). Given a choice, I prefer the genuine local establishments, which in Newtown are The Clubhouse, Isaac's, Friends, and even The Green Parrot for either a comfortable place to drink and smooze, or watch the Olympics. We all know our favorite dives. Miller's is an adequate alternative, but never feels like home.

I love Millers!!!! They have great food and drink at good prices. We were there for a birthday party. The waiter handled the party well. He was fair and organized. We had the calamari, it wasn't that great. I had the bistro burger with sweet potato fries. It was awesome. On the burger, they had a tangy BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese and an onion ring. Delish. It wasn't big, but I couldn't eat it all. The sweet potato fries alone were awful, but the creme that came with them were amazing!!

This is your basic sports bar; TV's everywhere so you don't miss any game. The food is better than most sports bars but I wouldn't but would not classify it as great. They have a good beer selection at just the right temperature. My one complaint about the beer was that outside of a couple of specials, there was no prices listed for the beer so you could have ordered a 3 dollar beer or a 6 dollar beer and the wait staff didn't know how much each of the beers were if you asked. I was there a few days ago and now the menu has the individual beer prices listed. The prices are very reasonable and although it can be noisy, it is bearable. We seem to stop here for a meal after a day time ball game in Philly.

I love going to Miller's for Sunday football. Excellent wings, nachos, & a huge beer selection! Plenty of seating & a separate, more isolated bar area in the back. For the rest of the food. Say, if you're going out for just a family dinner, I'd say it's good, but not excellent (hence my reason for 4 out of 5 stars). All-on-all though, it's a great place to go with affordable prices.

I am a handicapped man. Sometimes need a mobility scooter to get around. First three times here I managed to walk in. Episode one was no low tables, I had to sit at the bar with six others. Besides being a buzzkill for socializing, the barstool is not a good position for my legs. They food was ordinary. Frankly, except for people who drink alcohol, the place had nothing to attract me. Episode two, again no low table, had to sit at high table with eight friends. Episode three, got a low table, near the door, on the patio in the winter. The overhead fans created blizzard conditions. The waitress offered to turn off the one above me but the manager stopped her and refused to do it. I had to leave or freeze. Last episode, I need the scooter, wanted to see a hockey game and had a party of ten with me. I called to be sure we could get a low table for ten, so I could use the scooter and they would put the hockey game on near us ( there really was nothing else anyway, but we wanted to be certain. So we all made the trip. Guess what. They could not accommodate us...apparently not even if we waited a while. Sorry, maybe they should have called us back to let us knowThe alternative of a high table would leave me looking up at the table from a dog's eye view. Not good for socializing and also demeaning. I am not going to give them a fifth shot at me. . Note nowhere along the line did I play the handicap card to get better service. I was not going to use it to lever special treatment if they didn't have the sense to try in the first place. Bailey's was happy to have us, turned on our game, let us compete in their Quizzo contest, served good food, and was altogether a better experience than we could have had at the Ale House. So I guess I should thank them for that.

Came here tonight with a party of 8. My steak was really well cooked and the chips were crispy and tasted fresh. Service prompt and attentive. Loved the sweet potato fries. Menu had a lot of selection. Was disappointed that there was no kids' menu. They definitely cater to sports watching crowd. The place was comfortable and welcoming, we enjoyed ourselves! We'll be back!

Ugh, I usually enjoy my time here but last night was just plain uncomfortable. Some co-workers and myself went to Miller's after work to grab a bit to eat. We were seated and all was well until our waiter came to our table to take our orders. My friend and I were going to share some fries but our waiter kept insisting that we get the loaded (which are good in my opinion, but my friend doesn't enjoy the bacon or chives) plus they are an extra 8 dollars or so. While trying to dodge his insistence on getting the loaded fries I mentioned that we would need separate checks because 3 out of 5 of us only had our cards, his whole attitude, tone, body language, and overall demeanor changed for the worst. His immediate response was that he wouldn't try to help us save money in a rude tone (plus I think he was a little butt hurt we denied his loaded fries). We were basically ignored the whole night, we had to wave him down several times for refill and he also didn't put my friends order in, which was just a order of the flatbread but lo and behold he slapped a order of loaded fries on her bill even though no one asked for them. We definitely felt unwelcome so we ask another waiter for the check. Our waiter came with our check but everything was mixed match for each guest, we felt extremely uncomfortable when we told him about the mistake and he stormed off go to fix it. I'm not one to judge but this dude's too cool for school attitude and macho tough guy ego stopped him from getting a decent tip last night.

Utter garbage. Been here twice. The first time, my Dad and I went to meet my mom who was having a small work party there. We decided to have dinner there as my mom's party was still going on. We were seated outside at a table that had no silverware or place settings at all. Just a bare table. We then waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. No one ever did. The particularly annoying thing was that from time to time, we saw two members of the wait staff standing in the doorway just staring at us and/or into space. I repeat, no one came over to ask us if we needed anything or were being taken care of in the course of 20 mins. We eventually got up and left and told the hostess who basically responded with "Oh...sorry" and went back to what she was doing. We decided to give it another chance thinking the first time was a fluke. Not much better the second time. When we were seated, still no silverware on the table. We actually got the chance to order drinks and food. The people who took our drink orders, food order, and actually brought the food to the table were all different people. The person who brought our food (and utensils) looked like someone who worked in the kitchen. I ordered what was described on the menu as "pork medallions". When one thinks of pork medallions, one imagines a dish made with pork loin/tenderloin. Imagine my disappointment when what I got was essentially a pork chop that had been deep-fried and cut in half. No sauce, sides or trimmings either. Just a plate with a crappy, dry, deep-fried pork chop on it.

Staff is great and accommodate me by change the TV to the game I wanted to see. I was out of town and needed to go to a sports bar that had options. I got the prime rib "special" and the chicken nachos. There was nothing special about it, unless lack of flavor was what made it special. I should have know since it was only $12.99 and came on a plastic plate. The chicken nacho's were disappointing also. Huge portion but the topping were just piled on top in the middle. Normal for nacho but still disappointing.

This is a 2 star review but it's not an angry review. The staff was very friendly and the place was packed so people must enjoy it. We had the potstickers for an appetizer, pretty good. Dipping sauce was spicy which was a good surprise. For entrees, I had the 35 shrimp pasta with Alfredo sauce, my girlfriend had the Bahamian mahi mahi. My pasta tasted like nothing, literally nothing, like the whole dish was steamed. I had to put a lot of cracked pepper to help it out. The pasta was overcooked and reminded me of the noodles in chicken noodle soup. My girlfriend's whole dish tasted like nothing. Broccoli, fish, potatoes, zucchini, all tasted the same and like nothing. I was actually impressed with how they achieved this. Wine pours were heavy, a plus. Plateware reminded me of a hospital cafeteria.

had the worst experience here. I've gone to the ale house many times and it's fine but tonight, I waited for a table for 1 hour and 45 minutes before leaving. I feel like a fool admitting I waited that long but to top it off, when checking in on the wait time (which I was told was 30 minutes), I received attitude from the staff. I never take any aggressive tones or words with staff because I understand that things are out of their control but to talk down to me as a customer really made my mood sour. I understand their job can be frustrating but that shouldn't be taken out on customers. I don't plan on returning.

When I was younger, well around 21 that is, Miller's Ale House in Langhorne was all the rage. A few years after that up until about 2 years ago, this place was a bit of a bore, and honestly, I never came back here until they expanded the restaurant and added an extra bar. What a nice surprise it was to walk into. Of course it is the same Miller's Ale House--same old inside, same old bar, but what makes it that much better is all of the extra add-ons. They have a fire place inside, extra seating, it's much much better then when it first opened. Also, honestly the food is also not that bad. Their wings are decent (the Mt. St. Helen wing sauce is a must try--so hot!). I will keep coming back here, never had bad service, and it's never that crowded. It's also a good place to stop at if you want to grab a few drinks and an appetizer before you head out to that fancy dinner for the night (which I do quite frequently!)

The food taste like it was frozen in a box. if you live anywhere near one you ar garunteed to run into someone here. it's usually full of people from college in their young twenties or people who work in the area. The beer list isn't bad at all though. Not a fan of this place, i would rather sit in a bar with people i want to see and fresher food.

We have been here a few times. Every time we come here it is pretty packed. Last night we went as a big group to celebrate our friends birthday. We did call ahead seating and got a big table by the bar. Most of the tables are big there, so that is good weather you are there with a small group or a large group, you got space to spread out a bit. Their beer menu is great with a lot of draft beers, craft beers, and then your run of the mill beers. Right now they have a lot of the holiday beers. We had the ShockTop Apple Crisp and it was absolutely delish! We started out with the Famous Zingers for appetizers. Zingers are their version of boneless buffalo wings. They are always a tasty addition to the meal. Last night I also had the Zingers salad, which I brought most of it home since it was such a big serving. The salad was very refreshing with greens, cucumbers, mixed cheeses, diced tomatoes, and topped with Zingers however you would like them. I also substitute the blue cheese dressing for ranch. My husband got the blackened turkey burger. I tried it and it was GOOD! Some turkey burgers out at restaurants are mediocre but this one was really good. I might be getting that next time we go. Our server was awesome. Very attentive, made sure drinks were always topped off, our food always came out in a reasonable time, and was quick to clear any unwanted dishes/glasses away from the table. We hung out a little after we were done eating and never felt rushed.

My bother go hear allot. Its a bar/ restaurant. The food is Great. I get their CHICKEN FINGERS. They also make a delicious PHILLY CHEESE STEAK plated with Pickle & Fries. Their Fries are Great. Its very noise but the food is worth it. Not a real family place. But I like it. It's a sports bar. The most of the bartenders are nice. I would go back.

The manger Shannon Higgins provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Upon a discrepancy with our service we asked to meet with him. It took over an hour for the manager to come and speak with us after being repeatedly informed by our waiter that we wanted to speak with him. During this time we observed Higgins blatantly ignore us. When Higgins finally approached us he did so with an attitude, rudeness, and overall poor customer service.

I love millers ale house! Today a blondie named michelle was our server and she was excellent! She was so nice to my younger siblings and made sure they had a great time and were taken care of. She knew the menu and even reccomended the french onion soup which was fantastic! I would definately suggest millers ale house if you have michelle as your server!!! In the past my service was not as good as it was today and she definately chanhed my opinion of the place.

I cringe when people suggest we meet up at the Ale House. Not only do I run the chance of bumping into people I haven't talked to in years on purpose -- the place is just grossly overrated in every way. And it feels like a mismosh of sad suburban frat-house crossed with suburbanites not knowing their town has so much more to offer their tastebuds! You'll circle the parking lot for ages almost every night of the week to find a spot, the beer specials are always for mediocre offerings, and their food isn't offensive, but its absolutely nothing special -- you'd probably get a better bang for your buck buying frozen appetizers at Sam's Club and hosting your get-together yourself! Their frozen drinks are either too weak or disproportionately mixed... and that's just sad when there are so many great BYOB's or other places to get that sport's bar feel. The waiters seem hit or miss. One time a server had to come back 3 different times after a fellow diner ordered a fish special -- after he sold her on it --- because they were out. He pitched more dishes. She ordered. They were out of it. What happens when he pitches her more fish? They are OUT of IT. What is wrong with this picture? How do you not check on what you've got to offer after you've failed twice to deliver? Sandy's is just up the street - Why are you here and not there?! You'll spend so much less and get so much more! Please, friends. Stop asking me to Miller's. I've given it plenty of chances, and it just doesn't cut it. Not by a long shot! Please visit: Sandy's. The Hulmeville Inn. The Happy Hour Tavern. BYO it up at Mirim, Thai Chef Noodle Fusion, or Cancun!

Whenever it starts out bad, run. The wife and I went out for a night out and decided to go here, ugh. We walk in and the hostess was hiding behind the beer fridge where you could not see or hear her, speak up girl. Then they sat us at a booth which was an comfortable as a church pew, praise Jesus. Waited about 10 mins before anyone came over and asked for drinks. Got a pitcher of house margarita in dirty glasses and it was weak as hell. Almost tasted like a virgin margarita. Now could it get worse from here.....wait for it. We ordered just apps, zingers hot, fiesta nachos and spinach dip. Zingers looked not cooked, well had to spit it out cause it was mushy and not fully cooked. And if they consider that hot, please. Told the waitress and her response "they need to check them better since that happens all the time" my response " take them back and don't bring out more". Nachos barely had any meat but had the worst guacamole I've ever had. The only positive thing I will say is the spinach dip was decent. Oh wait last thing as I was walking out a couple was out front and the girl was popping a zit on her bf face. Seriously the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and was the cherry on my night. Stay away from this place!!

Why is this place so crowded??? The food is way overpriced and nothing special. Why spend your hard earned money here when there are so many other actually good places to eat.

I fell in love with the Ale House when I lived in Florida. I was so excited to see one near-by when I move back up north. What a great menu--I often never know what to pick! Not a huge fan of the salads here, personally- but I love their sandwich selection and fish tacos. Ordering a mixed drink at any Millers Ale House can be hit-or-miss depending on who makes it. On the whole, it is a great place to go if you want some casual food, but can't really decide where to go, as there is something on the menu that could satisfy almost anyone. And at least once in your life you should try the Captain Jacks Buried Treasure.
