Girlfriend and I walked in at about 7 on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. Our hostess, waitress, and waiter who brought our entrées out were all a pleasure. Timing was great on everything and our waitress perfectly attentive. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, but I'd assume they all came during dinner rush and forgot they were in the middle of a major tourist area.

If I can give -5 stars, I would. Other reviewers were not joking. Worse service I've ever experienced. We just wanted take out but was told by a waiter that a "to go specialist" will be with us. To go specialist? Really? Waited for 10 min holding a takeout menu and standing in the take out section. The guy finally came but only to take another other of someone who just walked in...wow. Never mind the 4 waiters in the staff area who were just chit chatting, but we waited for nothing. The Olive Gardens sucked in NYC and sucks here too apparently. I have no doubt that OG sucks worldwide. Walked down to Ruby Tuesday instead.

First time here on 8/3/2014. Seated pretty quickly for a walk-in. But service was eh. We usually visit the Olive Garden near park city center, but we just finished Strasburg railroad and decided on something close by. Waiter forgot several items we requested, my father inlaw's bowl was filled with barely two scoops of soup. My dish was a soupy mess (and I've ordered this before at the other OG). Also the waiter kept interrupting us while we were ordering drinks then our meals never letting us finish speaking. My father inlaw insisted we leave the minimal tip but I dropped a few more dollars. Definitely not coming back again.

If I could give it a ZERO I would! My family went to this location for lunch. We were seated very quickly since there was no wait; however, that was the end of the experience. We WAITED 15 minutes and just got our belongings and left. My husband and I went with our two children to have a nice family time and left with a headache. Not ONE person stopped to ask us for our orders or to say a thing! We were ignored and treated as if we weren't even there. Meanwhile other guests after us were seated and given their drinks and orders were taken. The manager wanted to make amends afterwards, but by then it was too late. Olive Garden is no longer my favorite restaurant.

This is the worst Olive Garden experience I have ever had . The place ran out of salad and it took 20 minuted to get the salad. The food was not hot and finding the waitress was a challenge. The 2 Olive Gardens we frequent in Bergen County NJ put this place to shame.

I think if you are on yelp, you've probably been to an Olive Garden before. And if you have, I think you know what to expect. Many yelpers gripe about the time it takes for seating at Olive Gardens, but we used their call-ahead seating, and it worked great. We actually called both this location and Park City, and this was the shorter wait...so here we came! And, by the time we arrived, our 45-minute wait all-but had expired, so a 5-minute wait in the foyer resulted in quick seating. As for the food, all was good. I'm partial towards the "Tour of Italy"- Chicken Parm, fettuccine alfredo, and lasagne. Everyone enjoyed the food; service was ok tonight. The only gripe was the house cabernet, which I thought was pretty nasty. Wouldn't try that again. Throw in two free kids meals from a school spelling bee, two gift cards, and voila, a grand total of $8.50 plus tip. Not a bad night out at all!

Olive garden is always a good choice for food. can't go wrong with the unlimited bread sticks and and salad. it usually fills you up. by the time dinner comes out cant even finish your meal lol. i had the OG thing on the menu which was lasagna, chicken parm and linguine. everything but the lasagna as good. It came out kind of warm not hot enought. but other than that its your typical olive garden

This place is not good, very worse ...Don't know why they these people cannot understand the same table which is used by 2 can be used by 3, in front of me they let 4 sets of 2 people in to be seated but could not find place for 3 people. I don't want to play the race card but us 3 and other party of 4 did not get seat and we left. Very bad, very bad. Never experienced this kind of shit in the US. I am going to write to this to BBB

I was called by both general guest relations and the sales manager for Lancaster. She assured me she was personally addressing the issue with the store. I am pleased with the company's response the a rude employee. I will go back to my local store.

It is an Olive Garden. Most of them are the same. This one tends to be more crowded then the one near park city. I usually drive the extra miles to park city mall olive garden because the wait time is less and it is more spacious.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
