This place is terrible. As soon as you walk in the door its like a cattle shoot until you get to your seat. The way the buffet is set up is ridiculous. It takes forever to get through the line, your food is cold by the time you get back to your seat. The steak is gross, it tasted old. Some of the food was good, some was ok. I will never go back there.

If you can get here before breakfast ends at 11am on sun its a cheaper price. They then switch to dinner prices steak and ribs.They have 2 kinds of mac and cheese the one is really good it has ham in it And taste very home made.The ribs have 2 different kinds of sauce on them which are really good its worth the vist.But make shore you get there before 11am or you will be charged a higher price.Plus the drinks are free at breakfast not after 11 am sun

It's better than old country buffet. More selections and the staff seems nicer and more attentive. One of the stalls was out of tp which was a little shitty on their part. Not bad for a quick lunch.

Wow, I read the other review, can't refute the hair in the hush puppy, but $30.00 bucks for two people? I paid $7.99, was very impressed with the food variety, and quality. Lots of waiters and waitresses, they did a good job of clearing the tables. Did not have the hush puppies, I will be back.

Baked potato was cold inside...even though sitting under a heat tray...don't like the idea of waiting on drink refill - they should have soda/juice machines up by the buffet. The "waitress" was busy in our section which was huge to clean up after. Would like to seen a different pasta then penne in 2 sections! Dessert display was decent but the pudding looked separated? Congealed? Price was little high for what I got (11.99) but that's me I don't get a dozen plates of food like others seem to. Can't

I was on my last resort for a decent thanksgiving meal, the line took around 15 minutes, there was drink fountains at the entrance line before paying but nowhere else in the entire place, so u had to wait to meet a server to bring u drinks, nobody had come to my table even after i spent some time getting my first plate, i got up and asked the entrance staff how to get a drink and they told me to wait for my server, wen i come back to eat he's finally here and asked if we needed anything, i think expect to have water by now since i didn't order soda after paying 30 dollars jus for me an my wife to get in. I never saw him again and for my next three plates i never had a refill, the food sucks, the oriental section didnt have anything. Two stars for not being the worst.

I like Golden Corral and maybe I went at the wrong time on 12/12/15 at 2:30pm. I used to think the specials held between 2-4pm was to let the staff transition between lunch & dinner buffets, however at this Golden Corral it was a chance to get rid of all the old food before putting the dinner food out. Most of the food choices were visibly OLD, discolored and extremely dried out. They hadn't even bothered to stir the dishes to make them "look" better. Most of the food needed to be thrown out instead sold to unsuspecting seniors & guests. Never will I eat at this one again just because they take advantage of people with old, dried out food. On the plus side, I was offered a free cup of coffee at the end of my meal but it arrived with a bowl of creamers that had old sticky coffee drops all over them. Needless to say the coffee went untouched.

Had high expectations for this place. Good points - The floors and tables were kept immaculate. The signs and counters looked professionally done. The desserts were pretty good. The breakfast bar was also very good. Food that needed help - The fried chicken was terrible. Some had too much breading that was overdone. One batch of chicken came out with a thin batter and tasted oily. The ribs were thrown on a pan - over done and all over the place. The steak was medium rare but tough. Corn tastes OK - not the kind you fin in the Penn Dutch county. Fried shrimp - small and too much breading. Ham OK - Not as good as the Penn Dutch kind Clam Chowder - tasteless. Most other dishes acceptable to very good. Being Southern thought the fried chicken would rock - no luck Average restaurant for and average price. Will be looking elsewhere next time

I always heard Golden Corral was good so my girlfriend and I tried them. Food was subpar at best. Fried chicken didn't taste like anything. The sausage gravy tasted like they mixed flour and water together and the corn seemed like it was grown in a fish tank. I thought it would be better than old country buffet, but after the bad experience at Golden Corral, I would rather go to old country buffet any day.

My Husband and I tried the Golden Corral while visiting Lancaster on August 7th. We had never been to one before so we though we would give it a try. Well everything we had was wonderful! I do not understand the reviews that were negative. The steaks were so good they were better then what you get at steak house! Cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly! They ask how you would like it and then show you the inside to make sure it what you like. We each had two steaks! We enjoyed everything we selected and I would not hesitate to go at all! The place was very clean and out server was very nice and came back several time to see if we needed refills . It was a great dinner and I wish they would put one in our area so we can return! The only thing was it was very loud in there, lots of families with children but it didn't bother us as all.

What a wonderful place. Lancaster was seriously lacking choices in family dining, until Golden Corral came into the town. How could one not enjoy this place? It has something for everyone. Vegetarian? Check! Meat-lover? Check! On a diet? Check! It is entirely up to you. I've been to numerous Golden Corrals across the eastern coast and I love this design and the set up and choices it offers. Place is clean, staff is friendly and kind, these servers hustle, and you can get exactly what you want without waiting. It's fantastic. I do want to say also that management team here does wonderful job. I spoke with a heavy set gentleman and he was very courteous and knowledgeable about his menu and made sure my experience was enjoyable! I will definitely be back to this location.

There was a hair inside a hush puppy. You would think a new business would be more contientous about cleanliness and public health. I was grossed out & could not eat after that After speaking to the manager he blamed the customers for the hair it was absolutely not the customers b/c the hair was in the middle in the breading. I found that very disrespectful and offensive. Paying almost $30.00 for lunch for two you expect better & also being a new restaurant you would think there standards would be higher as well. Very sad & disappointing.

Maybe because Im from the 808 but i thought this place was really delicious. 13 bucks for all you can eat dinner seriously? ? You cant go wrong. The steak was surprisingly tastey and the fried chicken was crispy. Overall you cant beat this deal.
