Chipotle, the most popular fast food chain of our new generation. Yes, there will likely always be a line so if you aren't okay with this, order online and pick your order up at the front of the line. Our line moved fast, the portions were large, and this Chipotle met our expectations. I'm really not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. The only thing I can say bad about this particular restaurant is that there isn't a lot of seating. The good news is that people tend to eat fast so tables open up quickly. Chipotle is very popular, there will always be a line. People want good healthy food and just today, Chipotle announced no GMO's exist in any of the food. Chipotle is now the first fast food chain to totally eliminate all GMO's from the menu. The last thing they will try to do is eliminate the remaining preservatives from the tortilla's. Food tasted great and I will be coming back often! If the line is to long, I walk over to Noodles & Company.

Do NOT order pick up from this location. The idea of pickup is to get to your food faster, i.e. if you have meetings all afternoon and need to quick grab-and-go food, and I ended up waiting for my order for over 15 minutes in line. Not to mention pickup orders require 30 minute buffer times between when you place the order and when you can pick it up. When I finally was "served," my order wasn't actually ready and I had to wait another five minutes while they got their act together. I understand that lunch time is busy, but with a 30 minute buffer time I have the expectation that at least my food will be ready and you'll actually know what I ordered. The icing on the cake was the lack of cutlery in the to-go bag. If it's to-go...do you expect me to eat a salad bowl with my hands? Seriously, what sorcery is this?

The employees were nice but the food was horrible. The rice and meat were undercook and the guacamole. Was not happy with my food. Hope they get better next time I go next year.

I can always count on a good meal when I come here - it's one of my favorite spots for take out! I'm so glad we have one in Lancaster County. It's very convenient to get to and offers consistent, good service. I've had to wait a little at times, but I expect that at peak dinner times. It's never been an excessive wait when I've gone.

Good food. A healthy alternative instead of choosing a burger joint or taco hell. I've visited a few different locations and have always been treated well. One day I had to wait a few extra minutes for my food and they have me a free drink for waiting. Nothing special, but the thought that counts.

I honestly do love the food here but I find the staff to be extremely rude and cavemen-like (they point and grunt a lot instead of forming words, yet alone full sentences).

Didn't even realize it was 10 minutes before opening before we walked into the restaurant. Why have the doors unlocked when you aren't open... While all the employees were sitting on their asses eating while denying us food. K cool chipotle. Screwy corporations ---- idk how the food is, I didn't get to eat here. Could still be delicious if I was offered the right. Guess I'll never know

I've been here a billion more times since my initial review months ago. The food is still high quality and delicious (This is why I keep going). However the wait times are atrocious. I waited a half hour one night with about 12-15 people in front of us. I don't understand. Are people still confused about how to order?!? They are losing a star from me because of their skimpy meat portions in addition to the long lines. I've been to plenty of other Chipotles and gotten a perfect amount of meat in my burrito. Lately, not so much. If I'm paying 10 dollars for a burrito and drink, I'd like a solid amount of meat.

I've eaten at other Chipotles and never had these problems. The amount of meat and guac is insanely small! I don't eat rice or beans so its basically salad, meat cheese and guac (and you pay extra for quac). Tonight was the last straw and I felt I had to write a review. The girl took a tiny amount of meat with the tongs and laid it on the salad (it was about maybe 1oz of meat). I had the ask her to put some more on and they charged me for double meat. If I want chipotle in the future I'll just drive to York.

Food is pretty much always good. The service however sucks. Terrible. There was a line out the door, and the staff was helping other staff members make their food (for their break I'm assuming) rather than helping customers. When one staff member said for the staff to help me, she said "well I told him I would help him first." Absolutely ridiculous. The food however is very good. Ordering online is better, however sometimes they are still making it when I pick it up.

Great place! Had a great dinner. Staff was super friendly and helpful because I never ate at one of these places. The only way it could have been better if the served alcohol

Good thing this is the only Chipotle in Lancaster, otherwise I would not continue to return. The food is always great- the staff & wait time, not so great.

Customer service is definitely improving. I can tell the staff is finding a rhythm. Same great food everytime I go.

I can understand the Chipotle has been open three weeks but they need to take a look at what is going on. I could not wait then to open and was not very happy with my first and maybe last visit. First, I order the three taco plate with pork. The girl heated the corn tortillas for a few seconds, when I asked she to heat them longer, she not understand why. Next the guy place a very small amount meat on the tortilla and spent the next minute moving it around to make it look like the was more meat. I asked for chips and salsa, and they had to find the salsa from the back, two drinks price $21.95. When I picked up the taco it spit down the middle from not being heated, and it was cold. When I asked for a manger there was no one that could find them. One final item, on my way out the trash can (the only one I could find) was over flowing, with trash on the floor. Not sure I will return.

I think there was a time when I would have been pretty enthusiastic about Chipotle's burritos. And it's not like they're bad. But in a town with Neato Burrito, and even Roburritos, Chipotle just doesn't measure up. Because while the burrito was good enough, I would have spent a bit less a bit down the road at Neato Burrito for a much better burrito. And I can't even claim that Chipotle fills any kind of niche. Size and quality seems to be right about on par with the nearby Qdoba's. Maybe a little bit better ingredients than Qdobas, but when you combine a more cramped eating environment, I consider them basically equal options. Chipotle has only been open for a week (give or take), so it's not surprising that it feels clean and new. Employees seem like they're still trying to remember what to do and in which order, and that's fine. That'll pass. Ultimately, Chipotle is going to be another voice in the Lancaster burrito scene. For me they'll be a place that I would go to if a friend wanted to go, and I'd enjoy what I ate. And that's good enough to be a-ok, but not enough for me to get enthusiastic over.

Back again and STRIKE TWO! Food the same (good) and restaurant cleanliness still a disaster. (See photo). It is like no one is in charge, at least on Sunday's. Out of cooked rice requiring a 5 minute+ wait, an inattentive cashier floating around behind the counter in a dreamworld while customers wait and the dirt on the floor. Think about your food.

I understand this is a new location and is going to be slammed but this is insane. And gross. Read on. I ordered online at 12. Online ordering told me to pickup at 12:30. Got there at 12:35 - six orders still ahead of me. One slow kid running the to-go line all by himself. Watched him fill orders, roll burritos, handle tortillas, use his swipe card on the point-of-sale system, touch the point-of-sale screen, handle credit cards and handle cash, ALL WITH THE SAME PAIR OF GLOVES!!! By the time he got to me, I asked he put on a clean pair, and he huffed and rolled his eyes. If I hadn't already paid online, I would have walked out. Tried to track down a manager but they were too busy (over lunch rush in a new restaurant no less) socializing. They are not watching and realizing this is going on. Finally got out of there at 1pm. Meat is old and the whole bowl was cold. NEVER AGAIN.

Thanks for killing my wife's taste buds. The food would be great if the portions were managed. When I say a 'little' bit of hot sauce in my burrito bowl, I don't mean two cups. Nor do I want tacos with a couple small pieces of chicken under a mound a guacamole. Also, the soggy barbacoa is in the back of the meats, so when they pick it out, it drips all over the other meats. The flavor is good, but the portions seriously need some help.

This is the slowest chipotle ever. The food is good but make sure you have a good 15-20 mins even if there isn't a line

I'm a huge Chipotle fan, so waited a while to try this new one. I guess I should have waited longer. Food was fantastic, and up to par with Chipotle standards, but the staff was disorganized. No one seemed to know if there was any steak left or being made, so I went with chicken. The cashier was more interested in talking to the other coworkers and in looking at her fingernails than to let me know my card was approved and my sale was final. Again, food was good though.

This location seems to have a major lack of management. Been there 3 times now and have never once seen a manager making things go smoother. Stingy on meat and pretty much everything , long lines out the door. The soda area is a sugar covered mess , all of the straw papers were soaked from spilled sodas. No one obviously maintains anything in this store including the tables and floor areas. The food is good, but I'll stick to neato down the street to avoid the long lines and poor service. The employees are rude and are all about rushing you down the line. This location needs some major oversight which it lacks

I have been to a total of three Chipotles. This Chipotle seems to give much smaller portions than the other two. The service seems very disorganized. It seems like they are missing a person. Wait time per person seemed much higher than other Chipotles. The food was missing something, it did not have the same flavor as the other two. The chicken also seemed crispier than it should be.

Abomination. Meat was gnarly. Place was filthy. Acoustics atrocious. Had to select star or would not post....does not deserve one star.....Maybe -1.

I expected to wait because they just opened. I also anticipated some problems. The line moved pretty well and my meal was as ordered. Spoke with the manager on the way out and he expressed a genuine concern for how his place was operating. I'll be back.

Bleh, don't even know why I tried this place when Neato Burrito is practically right next to it. There's just no sense going to the mcdonalds of burritos when you have great, delicious local options right there. Not going back here again.

Music very loud and extremely small portions. I got a salad which I had to ask for more lettuce because it barely covered the bottom of the bowl. I asked for chicken they said they were out but it would only take a minute or two for more. ( they told the woman after me about 5 minutes) When the chicken was finally ready I got a whole whopping 10 pieces. We also got chips. If we were lucky there might have been a handful in the bag. To top it off they were stale. I was looking forward to having a Chipotles in Lancaster since we go to the one in York quite a lot, but I won't be back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
