Love, love, love this place. Food is consistently delicious, atmosphere is great, and the staff is excellent as well. Our date-night go to :) And yes, the bang bang shrimp is out of this world!

The best part about this experience was the wait. They have an awesome setup of patio furniture outside of the restaurant. Waiting was made comfortable and enjoyable. Obviously, this wouldn't appeal during the Winter months. The food here is good and they have some good promotional offers at times.

Didn't care for the ceviche appetizer.. it was a little bland. Also disliked the fish tacos, too many ingredients and a little mushy...juice dripped out of them when we took a bite. The fresh scallops with creamed corn and jalapeno were pretty good, I would order them again. Food came a bit too quickly, not allowing us to finish one course before the next arrived. Very friendly service. When the manager noticed we only ate a couple of bites he immediately offered to remove it from the check. The calamari appetizer was above average. Key Lime pie and the Jamaican coconut pie were excellent.

Only ate here twice but we were very pleased both times. Bang Bang shrimp are great. We shared shrimp and fish and chips . One serving filled two of us. Servers are pleasant . Drinks reasonable.

Tonight we requested a table by the bar area. Hostess said she made a note. We were seated at the other end of the dinning room. When we asked we why we were told well it's hectic here tonight . We had no problem waiting and were seated at the bar with a pager . Food so always good but service is always hit and miss. Like they just can't handle being busy. We continue to sit here with dirty plates 10 min after being done and the dinning room now half empty.

Food was very good and fresh. Open room causes elevated noise level. Difficult to hear person across table. Slightly disappointed with the service. Seated by manager. Took about 10 min till someone took our drink order. Another 10 min till our waitress shows up. Took total of 50 min from seated till food arrived.

For the price, the food was not impressive. We went to a Bonefish Grill in South Carolina that got five stars. We loved it, but this one is not great. The vegetables were very crunchy. The lemon butter on the seafood was lacking lemon and very gloppy. I had scallops and shrimp and the shrimp was nearly flavorless. My husband got salmon and said it also lacked flavor. The worst part was that the seafood was lukewarm. Very disappointed!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday with some friends. The food is always excellent! My mushroom flatbread was a little overdone, they fixed the problem and didn't charge me, which I didn't even ask for! I don't usually get pork chops when I go out but let me tell you....THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!! Best chops Ive ever had! Service is excellent although they could turn up the lighting a little bit :)

Bonefish Grille, boo! I have to keep in mind that this is one of the chain restaurants trying to front as a gourmet restaurant. I had been to a Bonefish in Baltimore and was not impressed with its mediocre food then, but this time was upsetting. Our waiter was friendly enough, but the food was so terrible that I am not sure if I want to try Bonefish again. I really wanted it to work out. Wine/Beverages: The wine list was simple, however, if you want to raise the bar on chain restaurants, do not come to the table with a tiny pre-served carafe of wine. This only tells the patron that you measure out your wine/liquor. Even if that is what you do at the bar, the customer does NOT need to see pre-measured wine poured into a glass in front of them. Wine was good and I took a picture to remember the brand for a later bottle purchase. Appetizer: I ordered the Mussels, and hubby ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp. I have had the BBS before, I will will admit, I like it a lot. But, at the Lancaster, PA location, the BBS tasted as though it was prepared in old oil. I have worked in food service before and I distinctly know the difference between oil and fresh oil. The appetizer almost had a rancid taste. The Mussels were very off and I became very cautious about eating them. One, the sauce/marinade that comes with the mussels tasted too sweet, as though too much sugar was used in the creation of them. Also, some of the mussels were not cooked all the way through. I could not finish the dish due to my concerns of possible raw food poisoning. Main Dish: I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. And this is where it continued to go down hill. I guess since I am a lover of well-thought out dishes and fish presentations, I was a little horrified by what I arrived on my plate. A little bigger than a Filet '0' Fish from McDonalds and overcook veggies. I was surprised that something with a hefty price tag of $27 would generate such a sad looking plate of food! (see pic). The fish was greasy and the edges were dry as thought it had freezer burn prior to cooking. The string beans were dented and very oily as well as the carrot medley. Although I love veggies that still have crunch, these were basically raw and dried out as though they had been dehydrated prior to 'cooking' and serving. The bottom of the plate also had an oil film (trust me, it wasn't sauce). Very disappointed in the meal. Even though Bonefish is a chain restaurant, there is no excuse for food that looks and tastes as such. I could have had better quality at a diner. At least the fish would have been a fish. Maybe it was a bad night? Great friendly service genuine to the Central PA area, but the food quality needs a lot of help. Come on Bonefish, get it together!

I went there with my mother, and I thought it was a little bit pricey. but I gotta say the food was some of the best fish I have ever had. I ordered the stuff tilapia and it was very flavorful. we also ordered ahi tuna and it was top notch. I definitely recommend this for top notch food, just please don't forget your wallet. I would definitely go back again.

Food was OK, service was good, my fish came out undercooked, however they remade the entire meal for me. I just wasn't a huge fan of the main entrees. They seemed overpriced for what they were.

Went here for the first time. Friendly staff. Menu a little confusing. I ordered the Shrimp and Sea Scallops combo while my aunt ordered the salmon salad. The quality of the bread was nothing to rave about. It was an egg washed sliced loaf of bread. The meal arrived on a plate far larger than the quantity of food. I had a half cup of garlic mashed potatoes, 4 small, 1 inch diameter, sea scallops, and 4 medium shrimp. Also included was a helping of garbanzo beans and turkey sausage. All was covered in a relatively flavorless lemon butter sauce. I would say my biggest complaint was that there was too little for the $18 price I paid. And there was nothing special about the taste or the size of the seafood. My Aunt's salad was a better buy and she did enjoy it. Salmon was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I didn't consider the price of her meal to be too out of line.

Spacious comfortable chairs and seating large tables even for two, well presented meals. Our appetizer of corn chowder with chunks of crab was very delicious and mildly spicy. Tilapia imperial was stuffed with shrimp, scallops, & two kinds of cheese in a plentiful quantity. The garlic mashed potatoes were just right and the mixed zucchini and tomatoes topped with fresh grated Parmesan was a pleasant surprise. My wife had chicken marsala that she described as very good.

Solid meal well prepared. Had roasted veggies with chicken. Portion could be a little larger for the price. Appetizer was the ceviche. Left a lot to be desired. Nearly tasteless. Ambiance decent for what it is. Need to expand the menu.

Our waitress was wonderful but the food was mediocre at best w/ lots of butter and oil. Also one dish was overlooked and others were luke warm and dry.

Walked into a pleasant atmosphere, greeted by warm, friendly staff. Seated at a comfortable booth. Our waitress, Julia, was very knowledgable and genuinely friendly. Ordered our appetizers and meals. Promptly served, perfect temperature, and perfect size portions. Not too much, not too little. Food bursting with flavor. Never had to ask for refills. Julia was on it, even though restaurant was filling quickly. We were impressed with her. Prices were reasonable and fair. I've spend more for a lower quality meal elsewhere. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner.

We came here when the wait for another restaurant was too long. Their loss, our gain. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The quantity of mussels was impressive. The coconut shrimp appetizer could be an entree in itself. Both the mahi mahi and the tilapia were perfectly cooked. And in both cases, the sauces raised them above the mundane. The chocolate creme brûlée was heavenly. The only drawback was a none too well trained waitress was training a new one.

My husband and I dined here this evening. We ordered the bang-bang shrimp, lobster sliders and the lobster dinner in addition to 2 drinks. The drinks arrived, but the shrimp did not. We then got our food and told the waitress not to bother with the appetizer. She apologized profusely. Then the manager came out and apologized again and said that there would be no charge for our dinner. We said that that wasn't really necessary as our meals were fantastic, but he insisted. Not only that, our drinks were also on the house. We left a $10 tip even though our waitress insisted she didn't deserve one. We will return next week as the attitude and customer service is outstanding as is the food!

Was really looking forward to a nice dinner out with the wife but my expectations were dashed. Nothing wowed me here. Service was slow ordered the crab and corn soup, never got it. Said something to the waiter and he did bring is one to share. Again nothing to write home about. The entire meal was so so. Not in any rush to come back.

We were given a gift card for the holiday and wanted to try out Lancaster's newest restaurant so we decided to give Bonefish a try early one Saturday night. We were pleasantly surprised that despite the large crowd of people both inside and out that we were seated promptly. Our server was very professional and attentive, probably one of the best we've ever had anywhere and checked back often for feedback. Since we are not familiar with a lot of seafood dishes (which is what the menu primarily consists of) we selected chicken dishes. Not only were the dishes similar in description to those featured at Carabba's but the taste was similar as well. When we mentioned this to our waiter he informed me that the two restaurants are owned by the same company and it was easy to see at least the chicken dishes were interchangeable and not unique to either restaurant. The interior was tastefully decorated in a Chinese motif however the overall atmosphere in the dining area was loud which was rather distracting, especially since we were dining around 4:30-5pm. It was not a place I would think to bring children but there were probably more kids in Bonefish that night then at Chuckie Cheese. Although the food was tasty we found it to be a little on the pricey side but the portion sizes were generous. With that being said, if you're looking to spend a fun evening with friends and want unique seafood entrees this is the place to go. If you're looking for an intimate place to dine with your family or special someone, and are on a budget you best go elsewhere.

Went for lobster specials featured on Tuesdays. Lobster tail with French green beans and Caesar salad was a great deal, and executed very well. Our problem was temperature; we both wore sweaters and we still were quite cold until the end of the meal. Broad selection of reasonably priced American wines. But, white wine is not Budweiser: it need not be chilled to ice-cold. In fact, our excellent Cakebread chardonnay was too cold to taste until the last sip. Friendly and attentive device. Next time we'll bring heavy fleece pullovers and try red wine.

I'd been to a couple of Bonefish Grille restaurants and thought they were fairly good. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We got there at 6pm on a Friday and got seated immediately. The place seems inordinately loud...I guess it's the wide open set up with no walls to breakup the dinning area. She ordered a Patron Margarita and I got a Stella Artois. She loved the drink and who doesn't love a Stella. That was the best part of the evening. The Bang Bang Shrimp was not worth the $9 they charged...like a previous reviewer noted: they tasted like they were cooked in oil left over from a McDonalds. My wive's crab cakes were about half the size we are used to getting when we eat out in the Baltimore area. I guess we should have known better but that's what she wanted. The crab cakes weren't bad...just not enough for the money. The tilapia imperial I ordered was flavorless and over cooked. I finished it because I never send food back as you never know what you're going to get back! Both of us were a little hungry after our entrees so we each so we each ordered creme brûlée for desert. Must have been made earlier in the day and stuck in the fridge...ice cold and no real sugar crust. I should have went with my original idea (Bucca di Beppo's). We won't be back to this location.

Chain fish restaurant - see Outback, LongHorn or any chain review for this restaurant. Chain tries to dress up the place - servers look sloppy in chef coats - perhaps you should launder for them - wrinkly. Not a bad place though - decent menu, good drinks, decent price - no real complaints that woudl stop me from going back

Visiting Lancaster, PA and visited Bonefish. Have been several times back home in IL.. Went early by 5PM. Staff seemed confused where to seat us (took 3 to decide where) and the place was empty. Two adult women and 3 children, ages 12, 10 And 4. They dine out frequently. Waitress too forever on everything but the worse part was my shrimp and scallops was less that warm, was dried out from sitting under the warming light and I never ordered the mango sauce on it, nor was I asked. I hate when the food it not served hot or in that vicinity. We had to ask someone for everything, ie, water, utensils, dessert menu, check. After ordering our desserts, it took nearly 15 minutes to get the flour less brownie and the key lime pie. My 10 year old asked if it hack to be cooked like the mean. I explained no, just served. The mean for us all was $91.56 then a 20% tip which I regret. I most definitely would have said something to the manager but it was a stressful day and I did not want to add to it in front of the children. I won't be returning to this location on Plaza Blvd or something, especially with the service and the dollop of the Luke warm garlic potatoes and room temp broccoli.

For a chain seafood place, it's definitely worth a shot. Overall, the best of the Bloomin Brands restaurants. Flavorful food, and a good bar. The decor is nice, but the service tends to overly attentive due to "turnover" rate at busier times.

We were gettin pissed Saturday night. I'd made reservations for 4 at 630 and it was now 650. I was giving the hostess the big stink eye but she remained unflustered. Tons of impatient people milling around. I'd even checked in with her earlier. She said our table would be cleared soon and she said it so calmly. Didn't she realize a hungry man is a selfish man, a freakin narcissist? I recalled the Seinfeld rental car scene, "you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation." Finally at 6:57 we were seated. And we waited and waited....while people seated after us were getting served. Nothing angers you more. So I pulled, rather yanked, another hostess over and asked "can somebody stop by this century?" Finally a frightened server appeared and we ordered drinks and our meal all at once. I think I was looking a little scary cuz she was flustered. My wife ordered the Chilean sea bass, I the crab encrusted orange roughy, the woman with us ordered the Maryland crab cakes and her husband had a hamburger. A hamburger? Ya know I could or have dropped you off at mcdonalds on the way here buddy. The drinks came quickly, btw not a great draft beer selection, and the food not long afterwards. I was prepared for bad tasteless food. I almost wanted it to be bad so I could get really pissed. But darn, it was fabulous. Really tasty. Had to be because my wife wolfed her portion before me, a first. She almost stabbed me with a fork when I tried to take a second bite of her sea bass. It was the best meal I had in a long time, well worth the wait. Since I was feelin guilty for being a jackass, I left a big tip and went over to my hostess and apologized. She looked at me serenely "are you kidding? You were one of the nice ones." Prices were standard for nice restaurant and they had a really cool plant in the men's room. I'm giving it 4 stars because good food conquers all. And the hostess was the best, calm under pressure. If she's single some dude should latch onto her immediately.

The good: We had reservations and got seated promptly. Overall service was timely and friendly. The bad: My knife had dried food on it. My water glass was chipped on the inside of the rim. These are details that should not be overlooked at this type of establishment. We had 2 extra chairs at our table, and during dinner servers kept taking and bringing back the extra chairs to our table. It was almost comedic, but really quite annoying. Our appetizer was some sort of fried dumpling. It was pretty good. I ordered a bowl of crab/corn chowder and a Cobb salad. The soup was very good, but it was a really small portion for the price. Probably less then a "cup" elsewhere. The Cobb salad was one of the worst I've had. The greens were 90% iceberg lettuce, the chicken was dry, they used flavorless Roma tomatoes, and the blue cheese choice was way too strong for this dish. The dressing seemed good, but hard to tell over the strong blue cheese. Oh yeah, there was a very hard, very small unidentified object that I had to spit out of my first bite. My wife ordered a fish taco meal that was average at best. Along with the food we had 2 beers and 2 martinis. Our bill was $60 before tip. Overall experience should have been much better for this price range.

I enjoyed the trout. Not a fish I can often get around town, not the best I have ever had but really satisfies my craving for it when I want. I've also had the coconut shrimp and the size of the shrimp and portion is more than enough for appetizer for two. Service is good. Waitress caught me saying I was diabetic and warned me about the massive sugars in their " natural" fruit tea speacial. Will go back

They wood grill a piece of swordfish like none I have ever had before! Great appetizers! And a coconut cream pie to DIE for! Wish I could offer reviews on more of the fish, but the sword is so incredibly good, that's all I've ever ordered for dinner! They offer MANY more menu items, as well as great drinks.

We went on a Tuesday. Lobster roll w/fries for $8!!! Overall, it was great. Don't miss the crab chowder or the coconut pie. Its a little pricey for franchise food, but we will definitely go back again.

My wife and I went recently, and we had a decent experience. Granted, this restaurant has only been open about a month, so we went there knowing to be patient. We got the Bang Bang Shrimp to start, and it was excellent. Great flavor, temperature, and texture. The beer list is horrendous for anyone wanting something other than standard American macrobrews, and they were out of one of the two draft beers that were appealing. The server said they were having trouble getting local brews, so hopefully that clears up soon. The mixed drinks were tasty, but pricey ($8.50 for an average sized martini). My wife had the stuffed tilapia for an entree, and loved it. Great flavors at a decent price. I had the sirloin and crab cake, which wasn't the best. Steak was okay (a little on the cool side). Crab cake had a lot of crab meat, but it was overcooked, dry, and falling apart. I'd go with something more fish-centric next time. The sides for both meals were fine. We skipped dessert. Service was a bit helter-skelter (again, they've only been open a month). We had at least four or five different people at our table for different reasons. We waited a while on water and the second round of drinks. Service should improve with time. We made a reservation and were seated within five minutes of arriving (we arrived early). The place was full and bustling, but not obnoxiously loud. They could use some drapes or blinds on the windows, as my wife was backlit the entire time and I couldn't see her face. We'd go back, but probably not for a while, to let them get their feet under them and work out the kinks. Update, one year later: the service has definitely improved with time, and a lot of the kinks seem to have been worked out. The beer list is still lacking, but the Bang Bang Shrimp is still worth the trip.

OVerall this was good - our server, PAige, was patient, accommodating and knowledgeable - great service! Choices are good, but I ended up getting a salmon goat cheese salad similar to like what I get elsewhere, so I knew what it should taste like. I t met my expectations and was well worth the value. The bread was also very yummy! I would go back, but not sure if I would stray from the dish I got, maybe their specials would make me. Surprisingly, most of the specials menu was lobster and I don't like lobster. atmosphere was great and we didn't wait too long for our food, they let you make reservaations so we were seated fast.

Stopped here for dinner after shopping at Park City in Lancaster. Thumbs up for the fall menu specials. I recommend the "Grilled Swordfish and Pumpkin Ravoli.". The ravioli had an earthly, rich flavor redolent of the upcoming autumn season. My fiancé had the "Steak with LobsterThermador." The steak was prepared a perfect medium rare. Our server was courteous and attentive. Turned out he starred as "Jacob" in a Sight and Sound Theater production. A fun night out.

We came here with 7 people for dinner last night. We have mussels and calamari for appetizers and we each ordered different seafood entrees for dinner. The seafood is fresh and the taste is fantastic. We thorough enjoyed the experience at Bonefish Grill and would definitely come back again.
