This is a review for my rafting experience. My friend and I were staying at the nearby Roebling Inn and wanted to go kayaking on the Delaware River. It rained a lot before we arrived so the river was closed to kayaking but there were rafting options. We decided on the shorter, 2 to 3-hour trip. Two River Junction accepted a discount from the Inn so the pricing was very reasonable. We were picked up by Dmitri and some other guys that work here and then we drove to pick up another group of people at a campsite. Dmitri explained to us that the river was moving a lot faster than it normally is and so he offered to drive us further up the river with the other group to do the longer rafting trip for no extra charge! We were given life jackets and a brief safety lesson on rafting. I'll admit that Dmitri scared us by saying if we see a big, black dog in the river, it's not a dog, it's a bear. After the lesson, we loaded up our cooler with beer (probably the best thing about this trip) and we were off! It was a great day and the rafting was really fun. We were grateful for the longer trip because even starting further up the river, the trip that would normally take 5 hours only took us 3 with how fast the river was flowing. We rowed right back to the Roebling Inn and pulled the raft onto shore so that it could be picked up later. It was a really great experience. Later that night, we went to dinner at a local restaurant and ran into Dmitri. He asked us how the trip was so it was nice to have him ask about our experience. It was a great time.

Could not believe toast was not included with the custom omelette or any of the other omelette offerings except one. How stingy can you get? Never saw that before in my life. Then to add insult to injury, was only served 1 hash brown, which was ordered as a side! I would not recommend bothering with this place. The people working there seemed clueless. I also didn't appreciate the cigarette smoke wafting in. The view was definitely not enough to override any of the above.

This is a review of the restaurant only: In a restaurant overlooking the Lackawaxen River in a quaint bed & breakfast kind of town, you expect you'll get home-cooked goodness served with love. Instead, at Two River Junction you get the kind of hashbrowns you get at McDonald's, "scrambled" eggs that seem like they were poured from a carton, cheap toast, and thawed chicken steak from that wouldn't have passed quality assurance at a Denny's. And yes, the restaurant overlooks the Lackawaxen, but you're too distracted by the video poker and the Internet jukebox to notice the river in the very narrow dining room. Finally, people smoke in the adjoining pro shop, and the smoke wafts into the dining room. When I asked our server if someone was smoking, she replied, "Oh, no. Smoking's not allowed in restaurants in Pennsylvania." And that was it. One positive thing I will say: There's enough food in one $10 Cattle Baron's Breakfast to fill up both me and my wife. But wasn't worth it.

Cold soup, poor service, unfriendly staff. Been there twice. Won't go back.
