This is a hidden gem. Great drinks and specials. The food is really good. Great selection, good specials. The servers are nice, attentive, and helpful. Great seating inside and out. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is the best for cooling out, watching a game, playing pool and drinking. Huge televisions with awesome sound. A smoking deck and a locker room for mischief. I simply LOVE this place. One star is lost because of an occasion with management.

It's not my favorite place but it's cheap. It always seems to be empty. On Wednesday nights they have a girl that sings acoustic music and it's really nice. She takes requests and has a lovely voice. A good place to bring a group of friends for a a good time, but don't expect to have the time of your life. They also have a good happy hour during the day.

Like this place, a lot. It's a good place to watch the game on Sundays. The food is pretty good and a little more upscale than you'd usually get from a pubby atmosphere, and the beer's good. It's got a comfortable atmosphere. I've never been here at night, so I can't comment on that. But during the day, when it's nice out, the outside seating is just great.

Great place to go after a round of golf. Good beer selection, great food and an outside terrace which overlooks the nine hole golf course and pool.

I would never have suspected this place was here. I am not a country club type guy and though I drove by for over a decade i never turned into the Abington Club. My loss. They have a great bar/pub with a sports theme including loads of big TV's that serves a nice selection of domestic and imported macrobrews as well as microbrews at reasonable prices, has good AC and outdoor seating overlooking part of the golf course. Food was good bar food - one time i had a nice fish and chips another time a salad and I split a chicken cheese steak with my wife once. Sometimes they have specials too - its justa nice place!

This bar is unassuming and not that easy to find. Beer is competitively priced, with a moderate selection. The dinner-fare is adequate, but not what you'd expect at the grill for a quasi-country club. The TV over the fireplace is surrounded by couches: a great location for catching a game with old high school friends. It is slightly too bright in the bar for the projector screen, though it is a very nice touch. A lingering smell of the pool drifts through every once in a while, if you sit near the entrance. The clientele is a bizarre combination of dads and early 20-somethings. Not exactly a nightlife crowd. Like most bars, the enviroment differs depending on the night (and the specials). The bartenders have a nice sarcastic sense of humor, and will make solid recommendations for drinks (should you ask).

Service is horrible. The wait staff very rude.Bartenders also leave something to desire in their attentiveness to patrons. Gave it a third try. Same stuff different night. Rude and disinterested with new money patrons. Mistake going back this place is off the radar for me

What impressed me most about this bar was the variety of lounge space. From the bar to the fireplace area with sofas to normal dining tables it seemed to be a good place for a variety of people and occasions. Good food and live music.

Great food and atmosphere. Excellent staff and customer service. Different specials each day. Nice place for watching games, hanging out or a quick bite to eat. Good place to gather with friends or family - pool table, darts and juke box.

Club Wet is a decent enough place with very reasonable prices, but the clientele leaves much to be desired. While there are alot of suburban unthreatening kids from Abington and Cheltenham, there are a whole bunch of wiggers and scum bags that go to the bar, which brings it down. Their locker room does provide for some ample space on the benches for said wiggers and scum to snort coke off of, so I guess that is a positive if you are looking to go to a place where you see wiggers and scum rags snort coke off of benches that old men use to sit on naked during the day.

Hidden in the middle of the Abington Club, Wet Whistle provides suburbanites with a great place to play pool, indulge in quality bar food, and imbibe in a variety of beers on tap. The bartenders are extremely friendly, attentive, and are not afraid of making tasty cocktails and mixed drinks. Additionally, Quizzo on Wednesday night is a must.

Good food, good times, and GREAT bartenders/servers! I have been going to The Whistle on nights out on the town for years. They have a nice deck that is open in the spring and summer for lunches outside, and they have a great beer selection for beer snobs like myself. Check it out, especially on a Friday night!
