This one of the staples of Jenkintown. I've been here 30 times and I usually have a great experience. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Every once and a while though the staff will be distracted/grumpy and they get the order wrong or the bagel is stale but that is a rare occurrence. Plan what time you go wisely. There's been a number of times I've not even bothered to enter because the line was out the door.

Bagels are small, cream cheese was ok. Very pricey for a bagel with cream cheese! It was very confusing when I went in as well! Too much going on everywhere!

On my recent visit to this restaurant, I was very disappointed by the value I received from my purchase. I ordered a Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich, a nearly $8.00 item that I expected to be quite substantial given the price. What I received was a laughably small sandwich on the smallest rye bread one could imagine - the sandwich itself was at best marginal, and downright disappointing given the price. I feel ripped off by my experience with this business and will probably never return. I would highly recommend staying away from the egregious ripoffs they call grilled sandwiches in this establishment.

La Colombe coffee and bagels better than anywhere you'll find in town. Microwaved eggs are a no-no though But bonus points for the pastry "sample basket" at the entrance. Sample calories don't count.

Best everything bagel I have ever had. Perfect. We eat here every Saturday between dance classes over at Zero Gravity. Its the place to bump into all of your suburban friends. Everyone seems to run into someone they know from the neighborhood. It's cute and cozy. My kids like to sit on the bar stools. The tables outside are nice in the warm weather. They have lots of vegan options. Tons of original neat cream cheeses. Their hazelnut brew is fantastic. People say their whitefish salad is great. Not too mayonnaise"y" or fishy. They have these natural soda drinks which are local. I haven't tried them yet, but they look yummy. They have pastries and fun jams and roasted chickpeas to go. All types of drinks and hot tea. They alwsy have samples when you first walk in. They do catering and platters for holidays. We had them deliver to us when we threw a party at The Hiway Theater down the street and it was so easy and great. People loved it as nice usual pizza alternative at kid's parties. My only gripe is they are always out of avocado. Whaaah. It goes so perfectly with my hummus and veggies bagel sammy. Oh, and the best part, Bradley Copper eats here. I always seem to just miss by secret boyfriend when I come here but I know it's a matter of time. :)

Since this place is right by my job, I've stopped in a bunch of times. It's the ideal place to get a quick bite in the morning. They're baking fresh every day which is evident when my glasses steam up every time I walk in. You can get a good warm drink or one of a dozen different kinds of juice too. Generally, I get an everything bagel toasted with peanut butter. They make a good bagel with a nice chew. Unfortunately, they get that order wrong one way or the other about 10% of the time. That kind of sucks when you are in a hurry or you don't realize until you've left in the middle of winter. Lunch is also available, and it doesn't have to come on a bagel. They usually will put something on special every day. They make pastries too. If they seem a little high, try the day old ones which are just as good

  • Heather S.

The bagels are delicious and fresh! Tons of flavors to choose from:) Anytime I offer to get breakfast for anyone I always go here. They also have breads, drinks, and a case full of flavored cream cheese. My only complaint is that the parking lot is small and people use it that are not patrons :(

Good fresh bagels with adequate amount of filling. If you go in the morning, coffee will be fresh. But, I went in the afternoon, coffee was stale. Bummer, because they sell La Colombe coffee and that should be really good. Guess after a certain time of the day they're not conscious about the importance of selling coffee that's not tasting old. Will go back, but it will have to be morning trips only. Staff very friendly and fast. Little details matter, hope they get on board with keeping the coffee fresh.

This is a one-of-a-kind bagel place, unlike any other. It's consistently good, not uniformly mind-blowingly-amazing, but they have a few items that really stand out, and bump them up into the five star zone for me. My first reason for loving this place is the pumpernickle-rye swirl bagel. SRSLY this is my favorite type of bagel ever. The pumpernickle-rye swirl bagels here aren't the best in the world (they're the second best), but the fact that they actually have them is awesome, because this bagel type is hard to find. But there are also other awesome bagel types here. Another favorite is the multigrain bagel. A lot of the time, when bagel places include a multigrain bagel, the texture somehow comes out wrong. Here, the texture is just the same as the other bagels--rich, dense, soft. Very good. But okay, if you really want to blow your mind, try a multigrain crossiant. Yes, this place makes multigrain crossiants...the only place I've ever tried one in my whole life. And I keep coming back for more! They are so freaking good!!! Who ever thought up that idea? I love it so much. I can literally eat two of them in one sitting...they're SO FREAKING YUMMY. Okay, so...even though this place is five stars, I think it still has some room for improvement. First of all, their tea doesn't cut it. Go around the corner and take a lesson from Velvet Sky; they use loose-leaf tea and don't mess around with tea bags. But even if you're going to just stock humble tea bags, I think there are some better choices of brands than Stash. Stash is great, for a supermarket bag, but when I'm buying a cup of tea in a cafe, I want it to be top-notch...get something with pyramid bags with whole-leaf tea in them, or even just a higher-quality tea bag brand, like Ten Ren for Chinese-style teas, or maybe something like Harney and Sons for more British-style teas. You can head over to RateTea if you want more of my tea recommendations. The food here, i.e. sandwiches and prepared items, is really good, and reasonably priced. I also love some of the desserts. I really recommend this place. I also love the location in downtown Jenkintown!

Still loving this place, but feel like I need to bring an extra container for the excess cream chesse. Not complaining that they give you a lot of product, but I also dont want to die from a cream cheese heart attack!!

Love the bagels here and the lox sandwich. Usually stop in for bagels when passing by. Good stuff!

big fan. big big fan of Fill A Bagel. I have to confess for as much as I tease my husband for being a predictable orderer I get the same items repeatedly at Fill A Bagel. and they are: great grain toasted with veggie cream cheese on the side, it's a "lite" cream cheese, but I can't tell, it's too good to be lite. I will occasionally want a warm breakfast which is when I get the great grain with egg and cheddar. the egg is microwaved, which is typical of a lot of take out breakfast places. lunch - great grain again! (I usually get everything bagels, but F a Bagel uses more salt than I prefer, no matter I love their great grain) toasted with either the new jenkintowner, which is turkey, green bell pepper slices, romaine lettuce, swiss cheese and honey mustard (and maybe onion and tomato? I forget. OR the tempting tuna. tunafish, hot cherry peppers, lettuce and again maybe tomato and onion. delish! it's not super cheap. but good food made fresh rarely is. or should be.

  • Dan C.

Really good food! Bagels are first-rate and the coffee is fresh. The breakfast sandwiches are really good and they make them pretty quick. But there are some bad things about this place! 1. The hours. they are never open! When I leave for work in the morning they are closed and also on my way home. On the weekends, if you aren't an early bird, you'll miss the worm. The crazy thing about the hours is that each time I am there and they are closing up, they are kicking out a lot of people. 2. Over-priced. 3. The parking lot is kinda ghetto. Mostly getting out of it. oh.. and 4.... The cookies and baked goods taste like old people baked goods. Know what I mean how old people love some dry baked goods that are bland? My grandparents would have liked it.

    (3)
  • Eric S.

I have been here many times on the weekends. It is primarily a bagel and bread shop and this is where they excel. With the number of independent bagel shops and delis disappearing in the area over the years, this is a great little place. They have some great spreads to go with the bagels and you can also buy a container of spread to go. They do have some other things like doughnuts, muffins and you can get a limited selections of sandwiches. As was noted below in the comment about "portion control", it helps to be specific when ordering especially if you are picky. The counter staff is very friendly but there are a fair number of high school/ college kids working the counter so don't expect five star restaurant service. After all this is a bagel place. Also, table space is limited if you decide to eat in but I have always gotten a seat between the tables (inside and out) and the counter space in the front. If you like fresh bagels and breads and you are in the area, this is a definitely a place to try.

Best bagel place ever. Warning: their bagels are so good that it is hard to stop at one. This place is the closest thing to a New York bagel in the tri-county area(bucks, montco and philly)

  • Justin K.

So yesterday I was talking to my friend and I said, what should I have for lunch? They said a Bagel. So as an activity I thought I'd pick a Bagel place I haven't been too before and Yelp it. Since I had to run into the office for a bit, I typed "Huntingdon Valley, Bagel" into google, and this is what came up. Although Jenkintown isn't really Huntingdon Valley, I thought "what the hell?", and went here (and also because I liked the funny, anthropomorphic Bagel guy they had on their website that caught my eye.) But I digress. Fill A Bagel is a nice sized Bagel/Sandwich shop right on the main drag of Jenkintown (Old York Rd.), so it was easy to find. The service was pretty quick (although not instantaneous, but its not Burger King), and the portions were pretty good. Of course the ultimate question here is how was the Bagel? And I must say it was pretty tasty. Just the right amount of chewiness. I got mine lightly toasted with Nova Lox and fixins (Lettuce & Onion, I declined the Tomato and Cucumber, although Cucumber is a nice touch if you like that sort of thing). They didn't skimp on the Lox either like some places do. All in all it was a tasty lunch, and I'd Bagel there again, although only if I was in the area, I wouldn't drive the 25 minutes specifically for it again. I must say the Chocolate Croissants looked pretty good though... Oh and a quick word on my beverage...my Peach Snapple was sublime.

I personally think it's weird that they "fill" the bagels with stuff. It's their trademark. I always ask for the bagels plan and get a side of butter. The breakfast sandwiches are good and they have a nice selection of drip coffee in the morning. Selection of reading materials (newspapers, etc) is available. Only downside is that they're only open until 3pm on weekdays.

    (3)
  • Alison F.

A lot of people in Jenkintown seem to love this place, but I'm not impressed. The bagels are so-so and they are extremely over priced. I am really picky with bagels and these just don't make the cut. If you like NY style bagels, this is definitely not the place for you. They also make bread and have day old bread and bagels at a reduced price. If you're in Jenkintown and craving a bagel, there really aren't many options as I am not a fan of Breuger's across the street either.

    (2)
  • Katie P.

The bagels are tasty although small and they have a good selection of different varieties. The service is often below-par however they are one of the few places in the area that serve La Columbe coffee that I know of (at least they did when I lived in the area).

    (3)
  • Claire H.

Pretty close to my work; I've now been there twice. Really love the fresh bagels and the lattes, as well as the friendly service. I haven't tasted the bread or the New Hope drinks yet, but I'm hoping they live up to expectations!

No real changes from my last review but to share my discovery - upon request they will run your bagels through their slicer for you. Just call up with your bakers dozen in mind (I'm sure they will do it for just a few also) and ask them to split them. A very nice service for us, since we usually freeze most of the bagels and this makes splitting them easier when they are coming out of the freezer. HINT: If you freeze your bagels split - either by them or at home break them apart then put them back together for freezing else they will be difficult to split and in your early morning rush you might bang the bagel too hard on the counter and have it break...

I stopped in here for lunch traveling through Jenkintown. There were 2 sandwiches on special for $4.00, The roast beef and the chicken, cranberry, walnut on a bagel. I tried the chicken salad on a toasted egg bagel and it was very good. The combination of chicken, cranberry and walnuts was just right. The coffee at this shop was very good too. They have a "Do it yourself" station to be able to choose and mix the type of coffee you want like a Wawa and add in the amount of cream and sugar you want. The seating of the place was not so good, it was small and tight and felt like it could only hold about 10 people at max. Overall a pleasant experience at Fill a Bagel.

one of the best nova lox ive ever had. it was thick and delicious. i removed lettuce though because ... it doesnt make sense to have lettuce included.

Since I moved to Jenkintown, this is the place I've visited the most so far, as I stop in on my way for work to pick up a my breakfast sandwich. I love this place! The people up front are VERY friendly, even acknowledging the fact that I was new and welcoming me back every time I would stop there, and I like the homely environment. When walking in, you'll find little samples available, though I haven't tried most of them yet. I tried a sample of the freshly squeezed OJ and loved it (though I may not get it regularly as it's a touch pricey for me). They have plenty of different types of juices, bagels, and lunch meets for sale as well. I haven't tried the coffee (Wawa is in the middle of their $1 for any size of coffee promotions, and I'm kind of a Wawa coffee addict at the moment) but I shall try a cup when the Wawa promo is over. The service is reasonably quick. I was a concerned at first when I saw my bacon being nuked in the microwave, but when I ate the sandwich, it was as crispy as if it came right off the grill. The prices for the sandwich are a little higher than your typical chain store (but not outrageous), but the sandwiches are much better than Dunkin' Donuts with the egg "puck" and Wawa with the scrambled egg stuff (or "egg puck" with their premade sandwiches). I do encourage anyone to stop in on their morning commute if they pass through Jenkintown, but at the same time I kind of wish they had were open later in the evening. Regardless, I'm happy to support this small business primarily for their excellent customer service but also their delicious breakfast sandwiches!

Nom nom nom. There's a decent amount of bagel and bread-related items to buy. Not so nuts about products with nuts, so I went for a divinely crispy, raisin bagel FILLED WITH AN OMELETTE. (Oy, maybe the bagel wasn't so amazing as to warrant CAPS LOCK typing, but it sure was good.) Parking is a snap, thanks to their lot. I like their interior, too! Add quick service and outdoor seating - I enjoyed my treat outside - and you have a place that is worth a trip.

I am so happy when my in-laws bring me bagels from Fill-A-Bagel. There are way too many roll-with-a-hole bagels in the sixth borough. Why is it so difficult to reliably get a great bagel in downtown Philly?

Another wonderful small business in the Jenkintown area. Great seasonal items. I absolutely love the apple cinnamon raisin cream cheese. Their hummus is also great. Quiet atmosphere. I find myself hanging out here for breakfast and doing homework if I have time.

After I left my chiropractor's office, my tummy was beckoning for food and I knew exactly what it (I) wanted - a toasted garlic bagel with sausage, egg and cheese..topped off with ketchup and a sprinkle of salt & pepper. Fast forward 15 minutes and I'm at Fill-a-Bagel. I ordered what my tummy wanted. Mister ordered a toasted everything bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. Five minutes later, we were called for our orders. Mister's bagel was done, but where was mine? As I stood around waiting, it was then when I was FINALLY told by one of the preparers that they were out of garlic bagels. What the hell, you decided to tell me this now? I opted for the onion bagel as a substitution. What a disappointment... My bagel was finally completed, but it wasn't exactly what I ordered. They were missing my order of sausage on the bagel. I notified one of the staff members and was told that they forgot to ring me up for it. If I still wanted it on my bagel, I would have to hop back in line and wait to pay for it. All of that was said with no apologies, just blank looks of indifference. ... OK? I don't expect them to bow down and kiss my rear end and all, but that was just.. wow? I was so hungry and irritated... but I was able to check myself and not be a B^*CH about it. I was too hungry to wait five minutes for a piece of damn sausage, so I grabbed my egg and cheese bagel and left.. GRrr... I don't know man, I don't know. I cut them slack this time, but next time they need to get on the ball! As a general rule, you don't ever want to mess with hungry people and their food. It's a scary sight

Great bagels and flavor options, just don't be in a hurry. The staff moves so incredibly slow its painful.

The food is pretty expensive and the bagels are average. My everything lacked that aromatic, crispy shell but it was soft and flavorful with plenty of cream cheese. And I do love the fact that they are open early and serve La Colombe coffee. A decent bagel place but not an outstanding one.

    (3)
  • Lauren S.

These are my most favorite bagels. They are the perfect size and crusty on the outside and soft inside. Whenever I'm in the area I try to stop in to pick up a spinach bagel with their nova lox cream cheese spread and a baker's dozen to go.

This quaint little bagel shop gives off the warmth one would have at breakfast at grandma's. there's tasty snacks that is available before you reach the counter to appease your hungry morning stomach. there's also a wide variety of bagel's, sandwiches, and beverages that is offered here. though a bit on the pricey side, it is all worth it!. Service is extremely friendly and it is also very fast. they have a selection of periodicals to read while you sip on that morning coffee and eat that delicious bagel! Writing this review makes me want to wake up, listen to Maroon 5's Sunday Morning and head to Fill A Bagel to eat a bagel!

    (4)
  • Dave K.

The bagels are very good and always fresh with lots of variety to pick from. The breakfast sandwiches are the real thing to try though: fluffy eggs on a hot, fresh, toasted bagel. One of the best breakfast options in the area.

I was not totally impressed by this place. The food seemed more than a bit over-priced but it a good alternative to the fried food pizza places or chain restaurants on the main strip of Jenkintown.

The bagels here are delicious, soft chewy middle with a nice slightly crisp outside. Nice sandwiches and yummy spreads too!

  • Young P.

Great bagels great service great location. I just wished they spruced up the "patio" but i guess there's only so much you can do when ur storefront faces (route) 611.. They have a wide variety of fresh bagels and a assorted cream cheeses to match - i got the green scallion which was reasonable in taste and price - just a sprinkle too salty.. Other than that, I'd recommend this place~

  • Elizabeth M.

I left Jenkintown for a few years, and whenever I come back I get these bagels. I love these bagels and their breakfast sandwiches. Service can be a bit slow during rush, but only because this place is so good.

    (5)
  • P L.

Outstanding, consistently friendly, NEIGHBORHOOD service. The staff recognizes and acknowledges repeat customers. REAL Jewish style bagels, not the soft doughy manhole sized crap that the chain stores serve. FRESH, good baked breads made daily (I love the honey wheat). REAL coffee, not that weak crap that could pass for tea. Think global, BUY LOCAL!

  • Lisa A.

fast and friendly service...ha, what a joke! it wasn't even busy and we waited for over 20 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 2 bagels, while customer after customer received their order who came in after us. eight people working with no sence of urgency and many people standing around. one employee kept dropping things on the floor. then two of our sandwiches were cold and had to be reheated. the food is good, but it's the second time we've been here and I'm in NO hurry to go back...

  • Holly W.

The bagels here are delicious, for me the gold standard that I hold all other bagels up to. When I worked in Jenkintown I literally got a bagel here almost every morning - for a breakfast on the run a toasted 'Fill A Bagel' 3 seed bagel with lite scallion cream cheese is my all time favorite. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the staff is nice and down to earth. They have great breads too, the seeded Italian bread is a favorite of ours, its light but nice and crispy. They have this cinnamon swirl bread I use to make french toast sometimes. Their coffee is ok, their other products like donuts and muffins are fine. They have shelves with discounted day old breads and rolls and these are always still good and much cheaper. The five stars are for their breads and especially their bagels.

    (5)
  • Patricia C.

Delicious handmade bagels, with a good variety of flavors and spreads, unlike the chains, which advertise bagels, but serve donut-shaped white bread! Fill-A-Bagel never disappoints!

    (5)
  • Mickey L.

Extremely popular place here. In fact, they just outlasted the new Bruegger's Bagels that opened up right across the street. I thought the new chain with deep pockets would outlast this mom and pop place, but guess who closed its doors a few months ago? Not fill a bagel. The bagels are ok. I prefer manhattan bagel about two miles north on York road. Much nicer help, better textured bagels, and tons cheaper. Other baked items are ok. Biggest drawback is that everything is so overpriced. A sandwich for lunch on a bagel will set you back about $7.

    (3)
  • Dana B.

Best bagels in the area. Fresh, chewy, and perfect. We always buy more than we need so that we can freeze some for later (they freeze well, and the staff is happy to provide freezer bags). The bagel sandwiches are great, too. I love the salmon salad -- you can order a "scoop" or a "smear," depending on how much filling you want.

  • Rafael G.

I'll admit it's been quite a while since I've gone here. There's nothing really wrong with the food, but they need to learn how to get their act together. Their lack of an organized system to 1) take the order, 2) make the food and 3) receive payment makes this a painfully slow place to stop for a bite on the way to work. Nothing is special enough at this place to make it worth the wait and sloppy service.

  • Pamela V.

Love this place. I love bagels and this place has every kind and they are ALWAYS fresh. It's so nice when you walk in they always have samples of donuts and a few other items. Great hospitality. The cream cheeses are to die for...nothing like what you have at the grocery store.

This place gets an instant 5-stars for the service and attitudes of the staff. They are so pleasant!! Such a difference from many businesses in the Philly area. Three of us had breakfast here today. I am the vegetarian....I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with apple-cinnamon-raisin creamcheese!! I was singing a song from "The Wiggles" : YUMMY YUMMY IN MY TUMMY TUMMY!!! That cream cheese was gooood! If you like cinnamon and if you also like raisins, then you need to eat this combo! Got some hot chocolate ...but thats from a machine..so, it was alright. My friends: one got a bagel with egg and something else. She liked it. The other one got a plain bagel with eggs, bacon and some other stuff. She said that the bacon was perfect. There was no fatty stuff hanging off the bacon. So, overall, great breakfast place with very nice service. Must do in the Jenkintown area (at least). The bagels are tastier than dunkin donuts...but hot choc was better at DD. Most combos of bagel and coffee cost around 4 to 7 bucks.

oh, apple cinnamon raisin cream cheese, how i miss you. i used to work in this neighborhood and would eat the same thing every day for like a month, a toasted bagel with a generous serving of the apple cinnamon cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious - fluffy and creamy with the perfect amount of cinnamon and pieces of soft fruit. yum. i can't remember much about the bagels though. they were only vehicles to eat the cream cheese.

Mmmm. Oh bagels, how I heart thee! I grew up eating NY bagels, and it's been tough to find anything close in the Philly 'burbs. This is pretty close. The lox spread and schnecken were good, too. And when the schecken beckon...

Want fresh yummy chewy delightful bagels??? Come here!! This place has yummy New York style bagels. Finding a good bagel place in the Philly area is not the easiest thing and when you do come across a place that does have amazing bagels it's like the arch angels are singing right above your head. Great variety of bagels and cream cheeses. I found my new place to get bagels. Yeah!!!

  • Cara T.

What a wonderful bagel shop!!! After my local go to bagel shop shut down, I was desperate to find a place to fill the bagel shaped hole in my heart. Ta-da!!! Fill a Bagel did the trick! I should've known by the line that I was in for some good stuff. There was a decent selection of bagels and cream cheeses as well as the option of bringing home one of those giant cardboard boxes of coffee. When we asked for extra cream, they gave us enough little cream containers to stock our refrigerator for months! Parking can be tight as it's a small lot shared by quite a few businesses. Definitely check this place out, but leave me a parking spot and a bagel!

I cannot get a good bagel where I live. When I visit the philly area this is a staple. I Always get a everything bagel, not toasted, with cream cheese. They always have free samples too. They do things right.

Awful experience here today. . I have been coming here for years and always stop by when I'm back in the area. I brought my husband here for the first time and unfortunately they totally ruined his experience. He ordered a turkey bacon ranch sandwich on a sesame bagel. AKA the "TBR" on the menu. The woman at the counter was totally competent of what he ordered. She is ALWAYS friendly and thorough (and has worked here for years!) As listed on the menu board , the TBR is turkey, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato and ranch. The only modification he asked for was no tomato or lettuce. The sandwich came out with TURKEY BACON and ranch dressing ONLY on it. He is the kind of person that won't ever say anything about a food mistake but I could tell he was very unhappy and encouraged him to request the actual sandwich he had ordered. (Especially because we paid almost $8 for it) The woman from the front counter register came over to the sandwich makers in the back and clarified that my husband was right and asked them to remake it. The second sandwich then came out some time later with .. Wait for it .. Regular bacon, ranch dressing and tomatoes ONLY on an everything bagel (not sesame as he asked for). It was clear that whoever was working making sandwiches today (around noon) had no idea what was going on and what one of the sandwiches ON THE MENU contained. It wasn't even worth saying something a 2nd time. Our lunch break was over and we had to leave .. And quite frankly you just can't fix stupid. The only saving grace was the consistently sweet and helpful front counter woman and my sandwich being ok. However, I'll seriously reconsider any urge to go here again after today.

I have been here a few times and it has become my go to spot for breakfast when I am working in the area. I love their bagel selection. I especially love their selection of what can go inside the bagel! So many unique different flavors of spreads. They have the classics too if you aren't as adventurous as I am. I will be back soon for lunch (the menu looks amazing) and I will update :)

If you're making a pros and cons list of moving to the Jenkintown area Fil A Bagel is a big pro. These are real bagels like they make back home on Long Island. I especially appreciate that there are many flavor varieties available. Spinach, sun dried tomato, whole wheat, you name it. They have some baked goods but I have not tried. Also a seating area for eating your breakfast. Good place.

YES!! THESE BAGELS ARE LEGIT. I'm a native New Yorker and while that really doesn't mean squat in most instances, when it comes to bagels, I think I can safely say I know what I am talking about, and I am rightfully picky. And it is really, REALLY hard to find a great bagel in this area. Thankfully, Fil-a-Bagel exists. And! Not only do the bagels rock, but the spreads are pretty awesome too. (The baked salmon salad is heavenly.) And they give samples often. Just a really friendly place with actual tasty bagels.

The BEST bagels EVER! I kid you not. Spinach, Sun dried tomato you name it, it's amazing. The cream cheese is also superb and their salads - especially the chicken- are amazing. I have never had a bad meal here and I have never seen filth here. If I had my way, I would chow down on everything here for breakfast and lunch everyday! Come here - run- hurry up. Stop reading and go!

The bagels are delicious. I have never had a bad thing here. My favorite cream cheeses are the sun dried tomato and the nova lox. Their whitefish salad is very good also. What I said in my first review is still true. On my most recent visit at 12:15 they were out of everything bagels. Boo. They have however fixed the menu board so half the items aren't covered in masking tape. Once again, I didn't see one employee come out to wipe the lunch counter or tables. They did have napkins in the dispensers.

Pretty close to my work; I've now been there twice. Really love the fresh bagels and the lattes, as well as the friendly service. I haven't tasted the bread or the New Hope drinks yet, but I'm hoping they live up to expectations!

The bagels are delicious and fresh! Tons of flavors to choose from:) Anytime I offer to get breakfast for anyone I always go here.

Great variety of bagels and cream cheeses. I found my new place to get bagels. Yeah!!!

The food is pretty expensive and the bagels are average. My everything lacked that aromatic, crispy shell but it was soft and flavorful with plenty of cream cheese. And I do love the fact that they are open early and serve La Colombe coffee. A decent bagel place but not an outstanding one.

Think global, BUY LOCAL!

fast and friendly service...ha, what a joke! it wasn't even busy and we waited for over 20 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 2 bagels, while customer after customer received their order who came in after us. eight people working with no sence of urgency and many people standing around. one employee kept dropping things on the floor. then two of our sandwiches were cold and had to be reheated. the food is good, but it's the second time we've been here and I'm in NO hurry to go back...

Delicious handmade bagels, with a good variety of flavors and spreads, unlike the chains, which advertise bagels, but serve donut-shaped white bread! Fill-A-Bagel never disappoints!

Best bagels in the area. Fresh, chewy, and perfect. We always buy more than we need so that we can freeze some for later (they freeze well, and the staff is happy to provide freezer bags). The bagel sandwiches are great, too. I love the salmon salad -- you can order a "scoop" or a "smear," depending on how much filling you want.

big fan. big big fan of Fill A Bagel.

Amazing. All spreads and bagels worth the buck. Fantastic vegan/vegetarian menu! Love it!

Good sandwiches, friendly service and nice atmosphere. We went for a weekday morning breakfast and was in and out fairly quickly. I would go again if we are looking for this kind of food.

oh, apple cinnamon raisin cream cheese, how i miss you. i used to work in this neighborhood and would eat the same thing every day for like a month, a toasted bagel with a generous serving of the apple cinnamon cream cheese.

The bagels are tasty although small and they have a good selection of different varieties. The service is often below-par however they are one of the few places in the area that serve La Columbe coffee that I know of (at least they did when I lived in the area).

Love this place. I love bagels and this place has every kind and they are ALWAYS fresh. It's so nice when you walk in they always have samples of donuts and a few other items. Great hospitality. The cream cheeses are to die for...nothing like what you have at the grocery store.
