This is a great place to get ice cream or another yummy desert! You can treat yourself to a vast variety of sundaes, milk shakes, and of course ice cream....24+ flavors of soft serve. There is also quite an extensive menu with other stuff like burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. There is an adequate amount of parking, although it can be hard to find a spot on a warm summer evening. I do wish they would install more benches and some tables. Customers usually have to eat in their cars, tailgates, or just stand around. Great place though, a local class!

Oh....Earl's. How I hate to love you. Anyone in the Irwin area knows that Earl's Dairy Whip is a community staple and a family run business. I recently met the owners' future daughter-in-law, and she was extremely friendly. To sum it up... Pros: I love, love soft service ice cream...way more than regular, hard ice cream. Although the signs say "24 flavors", they have way more than that, as well as blizzards, sundaes, milkshakes, etc. They also have food too....burgers, hotdogs, shrimp baskets. Everything is yummy, no complaints on the food. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Pro / Con: The location is fine and there is ample parking. But...it would be nice if there were some benches or picnic tables. You either have to sit in your car or stand around in the gravel parking lot. Cons: The prices! My husband and I have never spent less than $5 here, which is crazy for the area. I mean, it's Irwin. You can go to Kerber's, DQ, or McDonald's and get a small cone for a buck. Sometimes McDonald's has their ice cream for $.49...and it's ice milk, which is healthier anyways. Cons: I just said "McDonald's" and 'Healthier" in the same sentence.
