I'm going to do this anal-retentive OCD list style, since the previous reviews pretty much have it right. 1. Take out is cheaper than eating in. 2. Fried rice is bland and not very good. In fact, I'd say China Bowl down the street has a better, more flavorful fried rice. 3. Lo mein is alright. 4. Interior decor is quite nice, colorful, interesting and comforting. 5. Service is good. 6. Some dishes are better than others. I'm sure most would be pleased with the sweet & savory dishes, including General Tso, black bean sauce dishes, and the likes of garlic or Szechuan. 7. Having tea inside is pleasant. 8. Accepts plastic. 9. Delivery is prompt. 10. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

Tired of Chinese restuarants that do not care to make an effort to prepare nice food? Look no further. This place has a nice informal feel. Decor and lighting is subdued and authentic (as is the music). Great service and beautifully prepared food. Try the mango shrimp special - it is delicious. Generous portions too. Will be back soon.

Okay Chinese food, but used to be better. Better Won Ton soup than China Bowl (the meat is spiced better). This place used to have good egg rolls, now they are just lame compared to China Bowls. Good sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. Also, better Chinese pizza than CB, but again, not as good as it used to be (pretty sure they changed mgmt in the past few years). Lo mein okay. Can't believe they charged over $3 for 2 finger sized spring rolls. Prices have gone up a bunch over the past few years too, so make sure to use a coupon (on the menu). Pro: pretty quick service! Con: not a fan of the restaurant setting, kind of dark and not as comfy as CB.

Just came through here this past weekend for some carryout. Again - Great food and service. My favorite local Chinese restaurant.

Love their food but don't order online. Their system does not work 100% of the time and you'll be stuck waiting 20 minutes for your food.

I've tried all the local Chinese places, and this one has the best food! Fresh vegetables, light sauces (hate when it's too heavy and salty!). The seafood soup had loads of shrimp, squid and scallops. Portions were large, and always gives us lunch the next day. We like the Ho fun (wide rice noodles) and the eggplant. The other places in the area just don't taste as good. Service and take-out always is prompt. This is where we go when not in Chinatown.

Soooooo upset. I ordered online and was waiting for an hour. Then I called them because I wanted to check up on the status of my order. They tell me they were not receiving any online deliveries. This isn't the first time this had happened either. One time they called to say that before taxes the 14.90 did not meet the 15 dollar minimum. Take down your website if you're not going to even use it properly!

Ordered online at 5:30 pm, figuring it would get here by 6:15. At 6:25, still no order, so I called only to find out that the order hadn't gone through- evidently the online order system isn't working. So I placed the order on the phone. Was told 30-35 minutes, and I asked nicely if they could rush the order since I had already been waiting for an hour. Well, at 7:15 I called again and was told the delivery guy had left with 4 or 5 orders and should be here soon. It's now 7:35 and still no food, I have 2 starving kids who need to go to bed, and I'm really mad. It doesn't even matter how good the food is at this point! Do not order from here!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, but the food doesn't really make up for it. When ordering out, I would suggest going to China Bowl. Their food is much better.

This is a nice sit down Chinese restaurant. I got take out for lunch and their food is pretty good and prices aren't bad. Just make sure to have cash if your order is under $10. Customer service is pretty good; a concept that is lost these days. I definitely recommend this place!

China Wok offers consistently good, but not great, Chinese food. Take-out orders are usually done in a timely fashion, and our orders are always accurately filled with no surprises when we open the bags at home. The take-out Won-ton soup is a great value in the large quart size; it's packed with wontons and is a meal in itself. The interior of the restaurant is much nicer than you'd expect for a strip-mall location, with tasteful decorations and nice booths. Service is usually pretty good, although it's been slow a few times when we've gone for lunch. Their prices have been on an upward trajectory lately, though, and I think they may be pricing themselves out of our business. It might be time to try China Bowl around the corner again.

After being introduced to this place by friends, it has become a staple in our dining out schedule. The staff is warm and welcoming and eager to fill every request. The interesting decor is enhanced by large, colorful hanging umbrellas throughout the restaurant. There are special dishes combining a variety of fruits and vegetables with beef, seafood, lamb, and chicken. You can also create your own combinations, selecting ingredients that provide for a more healthful diet (tofu, less salt, Bok Choy). Really good food, quality service, convenient location and affordable prices will keep us coming back.

The good service and quick deliveries keep me ordering from this place. The presentation is above average so I can easily recommend it if you are looking for this kind of suburban chinese food place. Crispy fried duck is good. I will order or dine there again.

The food here is decent. There is rarely a wait and service is quick and polite. Red Chinese decorations hang from the ceiling, making the atmosphere festive and bright. I found the mango chicken special to be particularly flavorful, and overall the menu is not bad. A small complaint would be that the waitresses sometimes do not understand special requests. In my area, this is my preferred place to eat Chinese.

This place fell off big time. There is NO flavor in the food. It used to be our old stand by but they must have new management because we have not been happy the last few times we ate there. We now have a new standby that is right around the corner.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
