They really went above and beyond for me today, so I had to give them a 5-star review. I've only been to this location once before. I recently visited another Sonic and got a really good sandwich - the chicken club toaster. I asked them if they had it. The girl seemed unsure but after a few seconds (of probably asking someone what it was and how to ring it up) sure she said, no problem. I know it isn't on their menu and they were just trying to make me happy by making it and I really appreciate that. It's on the toaster bread and has chicken fingers, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo and I highly recommend it! Thanks for making me a great lunch Sonic!

This Sonic was one of best I've had the pleasure of visiting. We were on our way back to NY and decided to go here before hitting the turnpike. We ended up getting Jr cheeseburgers, natural cut fries and a cherry limeade. It's nice to know you can get a mini order of fries without feeling guilty about eating too much. The cherry limeade was so refreshing and cold, I love it seriously, I'm in love. Reminded me of a cherry lime Ricky like they used to make in NY. The cheeseburgers were hot and fresh, the fries had the crunch to salt ratio down packed. My mom had one of their shakes, she said it was good but not better than Shake Shack, which is probably the best place to get a milkshake on the East coast. The self serve drive thru is cool, just make sure your card don't get declined, and if so, they'll automatically bring the recipe to you so you can pay by cash. Overall the food and service was incredible. If I'm in the region again, I'll probably eat there again just to try their hot dogs.

My girfriend and I never been at Sonic before but tonight I just happened to be in a great mood to try their shakes. 1st try, I asked a simple question. What's all in the Oreo blast? She said "Oreos....." then I heard them laughing in the backround (that's when my girlfriend lost it). I know this is simple question but no matter how simple the question is, she should have really been professional and explained it unless it's just only oreos in a empty cup fucking smartass. 2nd try I did get an answer this time from someone I thought who would do the job. All I wanted was just an Oreo Blast and I'm gone but no instead it was complete dead silent afterwards. Yup I WAS in the mood but they just completely ruined it! I ended up getting a frosty at Wendy's and all that was done simply in a minute! First impression always count the most but obviously Sonic was really terrible and I know not to ever go back!

This is absolutely the worst fast food restaurant I've ever visited. Don't waste your time or money. Once they've gotten your order wrong, it's a virtual certainty that your food will arrive cold. I stopped ordering tater tots because they are dredged in salt, only to find the fries are always delivered soggy and cold. They must be under strict orders to ALWAYS put whipped cream on the shakes, because last time I said no wc on ANY shakes and said no wc when ordering each individual shake, yet all of them had whipped cream. The only reason they get 1 star, is that it's an invalid review with zero. The only thing they get right is the $2 bags of ice. Save yourself the frustration and eat somewhere else.

Unsure why all the low reviews. 1) This is FAST FOOD. The times I've been here they are incredibly polite. Never see that at the other chains. The food is fresh. The shakes are better than SHAKE SHACK. They deliver to your car and they don't expect tips. What more could we ask of fast food?

I'm not a Sonic fan but my boyfriend really likes it. So he was excited to find this one somewhat close to us. I just think Sonic is overrated, food is nothing special, but still better than fast food places like mcdonalds. That being said, this sonic is a good addition to this dilapidated stretch of macdade blvd. That whole area depresses me. Surprisingly, this is the nicest sonic i've ever been to. Carhops are friendly and we didn't have to wait long. This sonic actually has an inside area where you can eat which i've never seen before. The food was the same as the other sonics i've been to, average. Burgers are decent, I don't really like their tator tots, my bf got a milkshake that he enjoyed. I probably won't come here again unless in the area or dragged by my boyfriend lol.

The shakes are great, 4 star easy. The crew there is very nice. So go there for a treat.....but the food is fried garbage. The chicken is almost all deep fried breading. The grilled chicken feels and tastes like a sponge. So shake it up, but that's all.

Love love love the icy drinks here. My drink was .90 cents (happy hour) and I had a medium lemonade with pineapple and green apple favor. Pineapple favor had pineapple chunks in it. Service can/is always weird here but I'm gonna cut them a break because 90% of servers are school age teens or college students and it's their first job. I remember that age and how I was with my mall job at Fashion Bug in Trumbull Mall!!!! Lol I had a skater server, which is always cool and I always tip them for skating.

You know the scene in an action film where the hero is alone with the female lead and he of course has to take off his shirt. The heroine gasps at the map of scars that dot his body, realizing the hell that he has been through in life. My version is when I open my car door and trash from 4 or 5 different fast food places falls out. I mention this to illustrate that I know my fast food. An expert , if you will. As I mentioned in the earlier review I was psyched that Sonic came to Delaware County. I also mentioned it was a relative let down. I had reason to come back today and came to the realization that I don't really need to come back. The tots are decent but not anything special. The "real ice cream" milkshake isn't much better than a frosty. And I had trouble making it through the tasteless burger. That's a rarity for me. Sorry. I think Sonic has its place but for me, it's one less crumpled bag to fall out of my car door.

Filthy! Not sure if it was due to being understaffed or just the particular night I was there but I will seriously second guess before visiting again

I've changed my mind on this place. Yesterday, I posted a review, and knocked them to two stars. I'll explain why in a moment. I went back a second time tonight with the wife, and I'll give them a star back. They are officially OK in my book. So I am editing this to a completely different review. They're still not great. If you compare the experience to a place like Nifty Fifty's, it's probably not a fair comparison but Nifty's will win every time. If you compare them to Charlie's, Zac's, or the Last Stand, again maybe not fair since it's a chain vs local, but Sonic might win on a couple of points while the local places just taste better to me. If you start comparing Sonic to McDonalds or Burger King, Sonic definitely has unique qualities that will draw you to them. I've been to three other Sonics in my life before this one opened. I always enjoyed the experience from a service standpoint, but I never thought the food lived up to the experience. But I hadn't really tried a lot of the menu in those three experiences. I usually just got single burgers, chicken fingers, and tots. As much as I love the tater tots option, the rest of the food was edible if not ordinary. Yesterday, when it officially opened to the public, I gave them a try for breakfast. I went for a Breakfast Toaster sandwich, and a grilled cheese simply because I also wanted to taste that. I found the breakfast sandwich to be a little disappointing as the egg was processed and the bread was chewy. I also found the grilled cheese disappointing, and chewy again. Grilled cheese isn't supposed to be chewy. It's supposed to be gooey with a little crunch to the bread. I left yesterday a bit disappointed, and hence the two stars. Well, curiosity brought me back. Well, that and the wife wanted to check it out. So back we went for a Sunday night dinner run. Despite the long lines, we actually manged to get in fairly smoothly with some wait and get a carhop location. The owner was outside greeting us while we were in line and apologizing for the long waits which was a nice touch. He also gave us menu recommendations. Seems like a nice guy who is a local guy, and it makes you want to root for the place more. So tonight, it was a couple of burgers. I went for a SuperSonic Bacon Cheeseburger, which is a double, and the wife went for a single cheeseburger with the works and jalapenos. Decided I needed to at least taste a small chili cheese tots, and the wife got onion rings. We did split a chocolate shake, and the limeade that everyone seems to love, though we went for strawberry on the owner's recommendation over cherry. My burger was definitely better than past Sonic burgers I've had. I think they need to be doubles to be any good to me. But, I still think that McDonalds and Wendy's do better burgers. Sonic might beat BK though. My wife thinks Sonic is better than McD's. So we have a split decision there. No, they won't beat places like Charlie's or Zac's anytime soon. But I'm willing to give them points now. I was told by a friend who used to work at a Sonic in Texas years ago that they hand dip their onion rings in the ice cream mix along with the batter to give them sweetness. Well, I don't know if they still do that. But I'll say the onion rings do have a touch of sweetness to them. Pretty good overall, but the wife thought they could have used salt. The chili cheese tots... well now, Sonic has officially hooked me on something. These could be a dangerous obsession. I may have to go back on my diet and only eat these once or twice a year. Let's just say that I tasted them first, and polished them off before I even touched my burger. These are what won Sonic the third star and got them to OK status. The shake was decent. Better than McDonalds, nowhere near as good as Nifty Fifty's. In fact, I'd put the Sonic shake maybe a notch below Mister Softee (which I have always loved due to the rich chocolate taste they seem to have). But, it's good enough. The shakes are probably better if you go for a creative flavor, and the half price deal after 8pm is solid. I liked the limeade, but I probably should have gone with cherry. Nothing wrong with the strawberry, but according to others who swear by the cherry, I feel like I missed out. Next time perhaps. So Sonic officially gets the OK tag in my book. Carhop service was excellent despite a very busy night. We shall see if this continues once the initial excitement dies down.

Food is decent, sometimes not so hot, but overall its decent. Car hops have always been nice and have no problem getting you anything else you need. I like that this location has a place to eat inside, the other sonics i've been to haven't had this feature.

This sucks.... For years we have seen the commercials for sonic but always had to drive 45minutes to an hour to get to one from around here. Finally we have one and it's horrible. Unlike any other one I've been to. It's ran by kids, and if their is adults here they aren't to familiar with what a sonic should be like. The service is shotty to say the least. I feel like they are in such a rush to get done cooking the food just to get a break again so all of the food comes out under cooked. Tots are soggy and not even the least bit crispy any time I've been here. They taste like a sponge soaked in oil. My hot dog was gross, stale roll and the inside was showing signs of not even being heated all the way. My peanut butter shake tasted like vanilla and so did everyone else's, the bare minimum of peanut butter at most. This is the biggest failure to hit mcdade blvd since the mcdade mall. Such high hopes just to be let down once again. People of Kmart will be the only weekly customers here.

I love going here. I've only been twice, once at the car hop, once at the drive-thru. The service is excellent and the food is pretty darn good. I've only been at night (I go for the half price shakes), and I've been really pleased with the service. Surprisingly pleased. It's delco, after all. If you haven't gone, go. Go right now. It's so good. And the servers don't seem like they hate you!

Burgers wise eeeh... I ordered double burger, sweet tea, chilli dog, new york dog, strawberry sundae and mango slushed. Not the best fast food for the buck. Burgers dry hot dogs ok. If you wanna try something new i would recommend it but beside that eeeh.

Pretty good stuff. Great prices during Happy Hour 2-4pm daily. Shakes are half price after 8pm. Their pretzel bun hot dogs and Ched R Peppers are delicious. Sometimes they are really crowded though and when they are they don't mix their milkshakes very well. We complained to the manager about our Vanilla Malt Shakes because we ordered them with extra malt and the malt wasn't blended in the shake and each of us got a huge clump of malt in the middle of it. They told us to come in tomorrow for two new free shakes and that satisfied my complaint.

II went to sonic this afternoon. Usually the foods good and so is there shakes. Today my food was cold. There was a tomato in and on TOP of my cold burger. Fries tasted like they were refried and my shake wasn't fully mixed. It was all Awful.
