I'm usually happy with my service, but it really depends upon the time of day. If you get caught in a rush, you'll be waiting a good while for your drink.

they don't know how to steam milk. ordered a flat white...I got a cappucino with stiff dry foam (hint: the "flat" part means no foam) I asked for a latte instead, got the same stiff foam drink, with bubbles as big as BBs. look, I don't expect a european flat white in hershey, PA, but a latte is meant to be a starbucks staple. +1 for leather loveseat

Wait is not bad in the winter with few tourists staff is friendly. I was surprised at how dirty the floor was both days I came here. Staff does not seem to be as well trained and polished as the typical store. Drinks were good.

The café is on the edge of one of the sections of the outlet and features both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating ranges from wooden seats and small tables that look distressed to comfortable, leather chairs. Outside chairs and tables are metal and face the morning sun. Inside, the general layout is L shaped with the short leg being closest to the door and the long leg leading to the ordering area. The area is kept tidy and neat and is of a fairly comfortable temperature. Noise levels are relatively low, even when packed. The employees are quite friendly and work hard, though I feel like they are understaffed by a worker or two to help battle the rushes. One cashier and one or two baristas doesn't fare well against an onslaught of pretentious teens and middle aged women who order drinks with 12+ syllables that have to be made just right or it is literally so undrinkable that they can't even. Tables closest to the support pillars around the inner perimeter house electrical outlets for device charging, but they go fast if people are hanging out. Overall, I've been here about four times now and my only gripe is that they aren't closer to my house. I recommend this place, but maybe not so much around open or noon.

Horrible service . Literally wait time for a drink is 30 minutes because they don't have enough staff . The people that work there act as though your a nuisance in their world . There should be no reason why a line should be to the door with 4 people on staff . One angry looking person making the coffee , 2 people on register . One manager in the back doing something besides helping . I live 2 minutes from this Starbucks as it's the only one within a 20 minute drive and I get angry every time . Over this Starbucks. If you can avoid it at all cost . I would give it no stars but that's not an option

From the moment you walk in, expect to be there for 30 mins for your drink. The staff seems clueless on how to run the business. They don't have enough staff for the amount of customers. Ridiculously ran.

Today was crowded! Gotta love holidays. Great customer service. This did not impact their speed or accuracy. I state this because recently this has been a noticeable downfall of Starbucks. They are not all created equal not are they all organized.

Too many people ordering complicated things, not enough staff. That being said, the staff here is usually wonderful. Also, there is almost no seating, I guarantee it. This is especially true during tourist season. At the end of the day though this is one of two Starbucks in the Hershey/Hummelstown area, the other one being at Hershey Medical Center, so I guess all of this is to be expected.

Too bad the customer service just can't get it right. How do you not have a fresh pot of coffee ready when one is empty? Then I was told I could have a different kind or wait 2 minutes for the new pot. About 5 minutes later the one girl asked my server if she should start a fresh pot of dark roast. Really?? She said 2 min and then never even started it?

I was glad to see it; there aren't too many around these parts. The staff aren't particularly speedy, but they get the job done. The bathroom hadn't received the attention it should the day I visited.

Came in on a warm fall day with a long sleeve shirt, down vest, and scarf. And I was shivering after sitting down for 10 minutes with a hot drink. This place is absurdly cold!

Went yesterday. The outlet was busy this location was busy. Brian at register was a delight. Threat receipts are back for $2 cold grandes in the afternoon. His line was long but he smiled. Then when we went to get drinks two of us ordered non fat cafe mochas and then went to put whipped cream. We said wait they are skiinny. The blonde highlighted young lady said we always pit whipped even on skinny unless you tell us, really?? She advised all starbucks do it that way. When I for to car I realized I had been in at least six starbucks in four states in this week alone and no one did it that way. She was so heavy handed that I admit the four of is made fun of her back in the car. The drinks were good and they listened to easy ice request. She just didn't need to be so short and treat us like idiots.

Twenty minute wait for two coffee drinks. One barista, one cashier and one employee doing side work so they could close on time. Coffee drink served with unwanted whipped cream and a side of attitude.

I've been to many Starbucks, but this has been the best experience. The service was exceptional, and the staff offered drink suggestions and even brought us free chocolate cookies since she said she couldn't sell them since they got stuck together while cooking. She even warmed them up for us. Overall, an excellent experience.

Amusement parks have signs indicating how long it will take to reach the end of the line. Such a system would be very helpful if implemented at this Starbucks.

This place is always busy. If there is a big sale day going on in the outlets it can get crazy! I have been in line with my back to the door and I was amazed at how quick I moved thru. A few months ago they got some new employees and they got a lot faster. They use to be slow. I am only drink black coffee so it is hard for me to speak much to the speciality drinks.

Last visit during a busy Sunday morning. Drinks were fine but had to wait 30 minutes. Orders were taken quickly but understaffed at the Barista end of things. No one complained so I guess that's ok for the general public or general understanding of busy times.

Starbucks coffee was great, but this starbucks isn't clean. The layout is messed up. They could add more seating, and make it more modern.

I am a regular customer of Starbucks in Boston. On the road, coming home from vacation, searched for and stopped at store 11291 in Hershey, PA on Memorial Day, at about 4:00. The line was long. I was greeted by a barista with a turned up mustache, which was nice, but then he insisted on doing side work while the line rapidly lengthened. Once in a while he would stare meaningfully at the line, as if daring us to ask him to get on a register or make a drink. There were two people on drinks and Cole was at the register. They were extremely leisurely in their work, gossiping the whole time, loudly, about work and how hard it is and scheduling and their own personal affairs. The atmosphere was, let's say, aggresively unprofessional, as if the manager was out, and they were having a relaxing time, and no customer was going to mess with that!. Then one of the two drink makers decided her shift was up in the middle of this rush, and disappeared. I feel like she was in the middle of a drink. Mr. Moustache kept on doing sidework, staring profoundly at the line sometimes, and also (literally, this is true) twisting the ends of that upturned moustache, rather than help a customer. This is not the sort obliviousness to customer service one expects at Starbucks, which is reportedly fanatical about this subject, and in my experience consistently good. Of course, there is no nearby alternative for coffee, so get in line, but be warned!
