Filthiest one I've ever been in. Restroom hand dryer smelled - was moldy at the bottom; toilets were dirty. Bugs on dining room wall. Raw bacon in sandwich. Will go out of my way to find another one.

The food is above average for a chain restaurant. It's a good place to grab a quick lunch and do some work/ study. The outdoor searing is attractive on warmer days. But the staff all look like they hate working there.

I too am writing this review while at the store. This is my first visit to a Panera in about a year. Over the past year I've tried to avoid them in other locations, because the music is usually too loud to have a conversation with someone else. However, this one is different. The music here is at a reasonable level and it is especially quiet on the porch. So long as they keep it this way I expect to make this my favorite spot for business lunches.

We usually go to the one in Springfield and or Broomall Panera. We had to pick up something at Lowe's so we decided to stop in (for an over priced meal). We always say we will never go back but we keep going I guess we are gluttons for punishment! I ordered the turkey chili which was petty good I must admit and my usual Smokehouse Turkey Panini. My wife ordered the spinach power salad and the Vegetarian creamy tomato soup both she said were good! We were surprised we were not asked for bread or chips with our soups as we usually but was asked for a bakery up grade. I will say the place was dirty we has to clean off our own tables as the was trash and crumbs from prior customers on ALL the tables! All in all we said our usual we will not come back! But I am sure we will found ourself back at a Panera bread soon!

This is the worst panera I have ever been to. I've worked in the service industry for many years and i understand it can be stressful and exhausting so my expectations are never really high. Starting at the order counter, I stood there deciding on what to order, rather loudly voicing the choices i couldn't decide between to my companion. The two counter people stood there staring at us (no other customers around) so undoubtedly heard the options I was saying. After a couple minutes when I stepped up to make my order, I asked what a type of breakfast sandwich entailed. The kid told me the ingredients watched me for a few minutes then told me they were done serving breakfast for the day. THEN when we checked out, unlike any panera I had ever been to, they never asked for our name. While we were waiting for our food there was at least one other person standing there, they placed a tray up and never announced what it was/who it was for. A few minutes later when no one picked it up, someone got on the mic in an obnoxious and unnecessarily loud voice said, "whoever ordered a soup and a salad come pick it up." No name, no description of the food. Mind you that was only one half of the order we had placed and there was no word about my meal. My girlfriend went up to the pick up counter to ask and waited patiently and quietly for someone to look at her or address her and although she was less than a foot away from them, not one person acknowledged her. I went to walk towards the front counter where we ordered and i see my exact order sitting on a ledge behind a coffee machine. I have never experienced such terrible customer service, lack of kindness and communication in all my life. I will NEVER return to Havertown, PA panera again. Hire and train better employees.UPDATE: Before I left the panera, I talked to the manager Jackie. She was really nice, understanding, and appreciated the feedback. She even offered us some free pastries, which we did decline. But we appreciated her thoughtfulness. I'm updating my review for this reason, but don't think I will go back there anytime soon.

Went on 7/31/13. Salad was sub par and not very fresh. The soup was cold had to take it back to counter. The 2nd cup was also cold at that point I just ate the cold soup. The place was clean and the counter people were pleasant. I would think twice before going back We went to the Panera in Lawrence park and that is always awesome.

I have always loved Panera, but the service at this location is the absolute worst. It takes FOREVER to get your order. The food is decent, but they need to train the employees and tell them to PICK UP THE pace.

I LOVE Panera. I eat here often and usually order the Greek salad and french onion soup. YUM. Everything here is delicious! I would rate this location 5 stars, however, the service has been sub-par. I went in today to get lunch to go and my cashier was Ashley. She was extremely rude to me and avoided eye contact. She then began a conversation with another employee while taking my order. She basically threw my change at me and was very unpleasant. She forgot to give me my cup as well. I then waited for my food for about 20 minutes (there was barely any crowd so this was very strange). I then asked another employee if my order was ready and he claimed my order was never put into the system by the cashier (surprise, surprise). I am hesitant to return to this location and will probably return to the Broomall and Springfield locations where the service is better!

Went in here last night and ordered a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup. I was one if about SIX people in there with ONE person ahead if me. As I waited at the counter for my food the "manager" was so busy conversing with the other workers and the schedule that week that she kept peering into each to-go bag as if she didn't know who got what. After FIFTEEN minutes and people being called to get their food who ordered after me, I finally went back to the cashier, Kristina (extremely bubbly very sweet) and told her I hadn't gotten my food yet. The reason I didn't mention it to the "manager" is because she looked very unapproachable. Not to mention she saw me standing there that long she should have said, "im sorry what were you waiting on?" when the cashier told her I've been waiting, the "manager" exclaimed "okay well what am i supposed to be making??" as if it was the cashiers fault!! I said no dont bother i want my money back. The cashier could not have been more apologetic, on the other hand the manager said NOTHING to me. No apologies out of her unprofessional mouth. I'll be contacting the GM today and be sure to mention "manager" JOCELYN.

First things first; I should have known better than to order a lobster roll from Panera. That was just dumb on my part. If you're thinking about it, don't order it. I felt like I was eating chewy imitation crab. Not buttery at all like it's supposed to be, and the roll was sub par. Soft is one thing, but soggy is a total turn off. My sister's avocado chicken bacon sandwich was supposed to be toasted. It was on yet again another soft piece of white bread. Can't go wrong with the bacon cheddar soup. That's about the only good thing I got out of this location, and the only reason this review got a second star out of me.

The past two times I've ordered online in advance. Both times I was early and right on time they had the food ready and on the shelf. Not late...not too early...right on time. Food has been delicious and fresh both times. I noticed a few dirty tables inside but overall not bad. Never was big into this chain but based on my past two experiences I've really come to like this place and will definitely order again in the near future.

I thought my lovely wife was going to do a "Happy Dance" when she found out this Havertown location had opened! We both love this chain and consider it very well run. * Try a breakfast sandwich here and compare it to one from McDs. Actually you may not be able to compare them because the difference is astronomical! You will pay a little more but it is absolutely worth it. * Maybe you're making a nice dinner at home someday. Stop by here and pick up a fresh gourmet loaf of bread. It adds a nice touch to a fine meal. * In the mood for a super-premium salad for lunch. They have interesting selections and the wife pronounced them fantastic. She recently tried the Mediterranean Salmon variety. It included Salmon filet, field greens, romaine, Kalamata olives, Mandarin oranges, feta, sliced almonds, onions & honey tangerine vinaigrette. Does that sound great or what? I don't give many chains four stars but for Panera I'll make an exception.

First yelp review of my life people, so I will make it short and sweet! 1-Found a chicken bone in my salad. 2. Found a hair in the same salad. 3. Brought it to the manager and not only did I not get an apology but I had to ASK for a full refund. Go with Giant two doors down and get something to microwave. Or go next door for the somewhat decent tacos/burritos at chipolte, just bring your magnifying glass there to locate the meat in your order.

Tip: If you have a (free pick two) you will not be about to use it for the (Lobster Roll) because it's a $15 limit. I'm sad but I only had to pay $5 for 1 lobster Roll and 1 1/2 Chipotle Chx Pan.

0/10 avoid this location at all costs Service: Everyone working here makes it blatantly obvious that they hate their jobs. One girl was lazy af! My total for coffee came out to be like $2.12 or something so I gave her a $5 and 12 pennies, and she stared at me like "are you really gonna make me count these?" Food: Below average, especially for the price. Pasta primavera tasted and smelled like microwaved vegetables. My boyfriend got soup and a panini, both were salty and nothing special. Iced coffee was extremely watered down. Just don't even waste your time, trust me.

Here's the thing about this particular Panera Bread location, it's the only one that's anywhere near by, so you get what you get. With that being said, there's literally something wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this location. It could be something as simple as not getting my bread with my soup, which the word bread is in their name, so come on people! Or, it could be as big as the employees taking my food off of the panini press so that they can make their own lunch (yes, this has seriously happened). Depending on who is working will be the deciding factor in your dinning pleasure, so please, choose wisely.

I always forget this Panera exists, but I have been here a few times. I read some of the negative reviews, and luckily I have not had an experience like that. Panera is one of my favorite chains, the food is great. I love their bagels. I usually get a you pick two when I come here(you combine two half portions of two different items for a lower price), I usually get a panini and a salad. The pastries are also delicious. I've never had an issue with customer service here, employees are friendly and I haven't had a problem with my order. Panera is a little pricier than your typical fast-casual chain, but it is worth it for the higher quality of food. They have free wi-fi which is a plus.

I stopped at this location to pick up dinner after a very long day at work. I ordered 2 Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT sandwiches to go. Once I got home, when my husband and I opened up the packages both of our sandwiches looked like they were meant for children! It was obvious the girl(s) that made our sandwiches used the end of the loaf of bread. And there was barely 1 full slice of turkey on each. What pisses me off even more is I know how good this sandwich could be, my company often orders catering in for meetings from the Conshohocken Panera location. I actually had this same sandwich during a lunch meeting on Monday, the Conshohocken version was so good! This one was pitiful, it was more like an appetizer rather than a meal. $20 for tonight's dinner is a disgrace!!! I immediately visited paneralistens.com to fill out the survey and tell them about my bad experience tonight, we'll see if they actually do listen and respond to me. This is the second time I've written in to complain about poor service/execution at this Havertown location, now more than ever I believe that everyone that works at this cafe needs to spend a week working with the pros at the Conshohocken location!

I came in for breakfast with my hubby over the weekend. There were like six employees working the two registers up front, which seemed excessive since there were like 12 customers in the place. We both got toasted bagels, steel cut oats and coffee. Our bagels were more warmed than toasted and it took so long for our oats to come out--correction: it took so long for my hubby's oats to come out--that by the time we had all our food, our bagels were cold and my oatmeal was room-temperature. Hubby complained that his was too hot. It was like living in a bad version of "Goldilocks." I heard something about them running out of oats after they sat my bowl on the counter. Common sense would dictate that you wait until you have enough oats to complete an order...right? Most of the coffees were brewed about 2 hours prior to us getting there and were nearly empty. It wasn't until we left about 45 minutes later that they were finally refilling the carafes. Overall, the service was friendly enough, but their timing is horrible. This Panera is below-average as far as the chain goes.

Mmm... Carrot cake cupcake! That was tasty and only 99 cents. I also enjoyed the chilled chai tea latte. The corn chowder was too peppery.

Weak internet signal, dirty floors, cold coffee on a Sunday afternoon. The food is usually good though. The one in Broomall in Lawrence Park shopping center is better.

The food was alright but they play the most god awful music ridiculously loud. The only thing you can hear over the ridiculous music are the loud, obnoxious 13 yr old kids. It smells like they keep burning stuff, bad stuff.
