I've been frequenting DuJour since I moved to Bryn Mawr 3 years ago. The food is good for the most part hence the two stars. The service is terrible. Well, in fact it is self service for the most part. My wife and I stopped in there today for a quick bite and were treated just awfully by the counter person. As if by ordering a cup of coffee and some oatmeal was ruining her day. I would not be writing this if it were the first time we experienced this at DuJour. Walking in to DuJour you just get a sense that they have a culture that does not care about their customers.

I remember trudging through the snow one night all the way from Bryn Mawr with my friends in search of a decent meal. Dining hall food might be pretty bad, but It wasn't worth it. Over the four years I frequented Du Jour, I found the food consistently average: enjoyable but nothing special. Excessively over-priced. Moderate service. Decent for when you've literally run out of all other Main Line restaurants and your family wants to take you out for brunch on Parents' Weekend.

Pretty good. Similar to TJ's in Paoli (which we think is better)

I went here with my wife and two kids (15 and 10) last night for dinner, and I'd only go back under duress. Our appetizers weren't bad: a chopped salad (good enough to have leftovers for lunch today), a flat bread and a couple of soups. Everybody else got fish dishes that they liked quite a bit. I had the kobe beef/crab cake sliders. While the burger was good, the crab cake was only ok and the buns both of them came on were stale and tasteless. But the food wasn't really the problem. The problem was the loud and unbelievably bad singer in the next room. I don't know if she was the restaurant's entertainment or it was a private party, but she was horrible. Worse yet, she was so loud, we could barely have a civil conversation at our table. To top it off, she was set up right in front of the door; cutting off our escape from the nightmare.

I love this restaurant and frequent it as often as possible! What do I love about it? It is always busy and that generates a lot of good positive energy throughout. I can usually be found in the back dining room. The servers are always pleasant and accommodating. The specials are delicious additions to their very appealing menu and the food is consistently very, very good. Whether you're in the mood for a delicious salad or juicy burger, they always deliver. Add to this the free parking and lovely stores to shop in, dining at duJour is always a very pleasant experience.

Wow just wow. A month ago I was going to write a scathing review after a bad run in with some bad chicken salad. But I decided to bite my tongue and give them another chance. Well Du Jour's menu has just been totally revamped. I've recently had dinner and brunch and both meals were sublimely good. For brunch with a couple family members, we shared steak and eggs topped with truffle mayo. Also added on some bourbon peach pancakes. Not really my taste, but very scrumptious from the bite I took. Dinner was quick seared tuna with wasabi creme fraiche and scallions. Amazing. Dessert was a simple but perfect dulce du leche gelato. I'm just sorry that I'll be leaving the area soon. Hope my new place of residence has equally good offerings.

Live near this restaurant and I have to say I end up eating here a lot...breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. LOVE the caramelized mushroom goat cheese pizza. But really everything is good.

This place is just weird. As soon as I entered I immediately was confused. There was a line of people lingering around the counter placing orders. I had never been there before and it was not made clear that you place an order and pick up your food, cafeteria style. The menu is written on the wall behind the counter. Everything is slightly overpriced and there is nothing special about your options. Once we placed our order we were handed a device that would vibrate when our order was ready.... really tacky. Once your order is called you pick it up right from the open kitchen area. You must get your own utensils, napkins, ketchup etc... The food was boring. My bacon was over cooked, my bf's sausage was undercooked. The "homefries" are huge pieces of potato (like a whole potato cut in four slices) deep fried. Gross and under seasoned, The whole experience here was just awkward. It was disappointing to say the least. Oh yeah did I mention you must bus your own table.

I went here with my family for brunch, and I'll never be going back. Their menu says "vermont maple syrup" but considering that corn doesn't grow in vermont, I can assure you that they lied. Overpriced, fake maple syrup, don't try the pumpkin pancakes. This is "gourmet" food for people who don't know any better.
