for now 2 stars but will try it again. this is mainly based off of my steak. SInce this is a steakhouse (menu is very steak heavy with a little bit of chicken and seafood items) my review is a bit harsher than normal. The ribeye steak was about 25% grizzle (not talking about the marbling that ribeyes are know for) and fat that was totally not edible (unless you like that crap) and the rest of the meat that was edible still had a decent amount of grizzle on it. I would say my 11oz ribeye was about 6oz of decent meat. THe other issue was that it was paper thin. it was no more than 1/2 inches thick. I dougt it was ever an 11oz cut in the first place. For a steakhouse it was really a pathetic cut of meat and not worth 20 bucks. I had better steaks at the diner. On the plus side, my wifes seafood dish was good and the service was really good but they seemed to have an extra amount of employees and lots of experienced folks from established locations helping out. Very nice decor etc..much nicer than Texas Roadhouse as far as atmosphere goes.. I will give it another try and try the sirloin this time. If its still not good then its Texas Roadhouse all the way which is very good in my opinion for a decent steak. Longhorn is close so that is why I tried it for now.. if the next steak is better I will update my review. updated from two trips since my original review. sadly, still 2 stars. Tried the burger twice now and both times the tomatoes tasted rotten, maybe it was the meat but it just did not taste right. figured first time was a fluke but 2nd burger same way. I was not going to spend a lot of money for steaks as I know they are not that good so opted for burgers. service was not good, brought out bread but never gave us plates. asked for plates, never got them until the food came out. bread was cold by then and no one was in mood for bread by that time. took forever to get food even though there were no more than 3 other tables when we were there. I find it interesting that some of the recent positive reviews are probably because they had such low expectations, their experience was bound to be good.

The quality of service was much better than the food. I came here because it was one of my son's favorite restaurants and I felt like having a good steak. My waitress, Deanna R, is the reason I don't have a very negative review. I ordered the best of Longhorn sampler, corn fritters and the ribeye - medium. The appetizers were mediocre, doughy and overrun with cheese. The fritters were missing corn and the steak was TOUGH, my jaws got a true work out. But Deanna made the difference, very personable and accommodating. Applause to the service, tenderize the steak

Just walked out. Waited 20 mins after getting drinks while the table next to us got drinks and had their appetizer order taken AND after making eye contact with our waiter. They weren't busy and it appeared like there was plenty of staff and at least two managers working When the hostess was told we were leaving due to poor unattentive service she didn't say anything or react in any way. Service like this closes restaurants. But then again. With staff like this should they really be in business??

I almost never write reviews but felt compelled to warn people about how bad this was. It took an hour to get cold French fries and bland $15 burger. The pork chops were so bad my dad couldn't cut through them and sent it back without wanting a replacement. Service was slow and disingenuous. What a waste of time and money.

Recently ate here with my family. Food was not to bad. Portions are very small and overpriced. My steak was smaller than my son's hamburger. Avoid French fries as a side. They were very bland. They charge you for everything, even the steak sauce will cost you a couple dollars. Texas Roadhouse is definitely a better value for price and portions. Probably will not go back.

Got a gift card for Christmas. We went on New Year's Eve. They were packed. Told us it would be a 20 -25 minute wait, which turned into 40. We finally got seated and our waitress was great! We got drinks thinking that the discounted drinks listed on the table placard were for the holiday, but no such luck. It took another 45 minutes to get our dinner. My medium well steak was rare and cold. The green beans were soggy and tasted like they came out of a can. I got the steak and shrimp, some of the shrimp were well done and on the other end of the stick they were under done. My boyfriend got the pork chops and they came out looking good. They desert was a $6.99 with one brownie and one scoop of vanilla icecream and a ton of whipped cream. The bill was almost $60 as our advertised drinks were cheep only at happy hour, which we missed while waiting for a table. Sad, wish we had been told when I indicated the $5 drink I wanted. The waitress was awesome, she did everything right, but they need new cooks. It took almost 3 hours to get in and eat dinner, and wasn't worth the wait. Manager was sick and was caughing all over the place and disappeared about half way through our meal. So, in the effort to stay healthy, we left without complaint.

Ole reliable. I eat here every time I'm in Harrisburg for work. It's a good steak, not amazing, but good, especially for a big-box chain store. More importantly, I can get the afore mentioned decent steak for right at my meal allowance.

Our group went on a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't full. We had a group of six people and waited close to an hour. Smaller groups were seated right away. We almost left but stayed. Our server did an excellent job of redeeming our visit. Reading the other reviews I see that this location is missing something. Not sure what. We made it through our meal. The food was good.

This exchange I had with the manager says it all: Me: These fried green tomatoes didn't taste right, and when I looked at them I realized why. They're not green tomatoes. Manager: Well, they're not green, but they're still fried green tomatoes. Me: No, they're not. Green tomatoes have an entirely different taste. Manager: They are. These are fried green tomatoes. I take the tasteless pink tomato off my ho-hum over-priced burger and put it next to the tomato I fished out of the too-heavy and greasy fried "green" tomato. Me: Look -- they're exactly the same color. Manager gives up, finally, and takes it from my bill. This is a new restaurant and looks very nice. The service is very slow, though, and there's nothing special at all about the food. Pity.

Food was meh but that is what I should expect from a chain. This location's saving grace however came in the form of an amazing bartender named Brian. He was quick with joke and made me light up my smoke outside. Great service from him. I would stop in anytime he is working.

Wow. Came here since it was new, close to church and we loved Longhorn in our previous city. Disappointing. Very. First they attempted to seat my better half and I at a 6-top round table when multiple booths sat empty. We then ordered (Filet for me Parmesan-crusted chicken for her.) My salad came out "swimming" in Balsamic, which if that alone happened I would not be rating this a poor experience. The main dishes took in excess of 45 mins. Her cheese was not even melted and green beans tasted soggy and canned. My steak came out rare and cold. 15 mins later she is almost done eating and I sit still waiting for my steak. So we will not really be eating together and will not make our planned movie (didn't expect lunch to take over 90 mFail. In all fairness - our waitress, Chelsey, was attentive and appeared to be the best server working. Will not be back.

We went there Sept 16th, waited 15min for soda, asked twice for refill (came after another 20mins), long drink ordered and never received. Food okay but LONG waiting time (about one hour), salmon dry as hell, mashed potatoes from walmart and broccoli out of freezer, not the typical LongHorns standart. Manager who doesn´t care about that, they reduced the bill after massive complains. We weren´t the onliest people there today with a lot of complains, seems to be normal there to receive wrong food and bad service. never again

Went here on opening day (Monday) no issues with the food. They were a little confused as to table #'s giving us an appetizer before we had spoken to a server. The food is good and I'm sure after a few days they will have most of the initial growing pains worked out. Chipotle chicken and the bourbon pepper steak are really good. there was no waiting which surprised me it seems like a soft opening almost it was busy but getting in with no wait was nice hopefully they can maintain that perfect balance of full tables and no waiting :).

Wow! I read some of the negative reviews and almost didn't go. But we went for lunch, and the food and service were exemplary, and belied the negativity previously referred to. We enjoyed the warm bread while we waited for the corn fritters(scrumptious!) and when the soups arrived, we spooned up some of the best seafood chowder and onion soup in the area. Because we were hard-pressed to decide on which soups we wanted, out server, E., brought us a sample of the mushroom soup we were considering. This place is a definite repeat for us, and we are picky. We will definitely return some evening soon for dinner.

    - Waited over an hour for food - Waitress avoided eye contact and was not attentive or apologetic about our wait - When we did finally receive food, the fries were cold and burgers were underwhelming - My father in law's pork chops were extremely tough, b

Very poor food and service. Prices are high for the poor quality of steaks. Don't waste your money.
