I ordered the Hunan Shrimp dinner for pickup. The portions were quite generous with a medley of veggies and plenty of decent sized shrimp. Hunan sauce was abundant, perhaps too much, and somewhat resembling "Hunan". Nonetheless, I was not dissatisfied with the quality for it did satisfy my hunger. I wish I had photo my dinner before I consumed it. Next time

Love this place, I always go in and order, but yesterday was gloomy and meeting filled so I ordered to the office. A few coworkers ordered from another Chinese place that I don't like so I passed but decided I wanted To order from Hong Kong, by the time I told them their greedy selves had already order from the other place... Their loss. So anyway I placed my order for a lunch special shrimp and broccoli in lobster sauce with egg drop soup. Food came it was hot and fresh just as it is when I go in the store, and the delivery charge was minimal. Let me start with the soup, it is so good, and surprise they put chicken in it! The shrimps are nice and big and fresh and plenty, the broccoli is nice and crisp and the rice is filling. The only thing I missed with the delivery was their smiling faves when I walked in, other than that just as good as when I pick up or dine in.

When I need Chinese food delivered to my home, this place is the only place within a one or two mile radius of my home that tastes any good to me. It's far from the best I've ever had. But whatever I get here passes the "it's decent enough to enjoy" test. But that's according to my taste buds. Your taste buds may differ. When I have the opportunity to get better Chinese food in this area, I hop in my car and head to Da Chen or Panda Asian Fusion. If those places ever chose to deliver to my house, I'd never order from here again. But in the meantime, this place serves my needs well, when I need them.

The food here is not good!!! I ordered beef egg foo young that was tasteless! Chicken with garlic sauce was nothing but a tiny bit of chicken, ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPERS!!! It was awful!!!! Should have taken it back. But I'm sure they wouldn't compensate me for my time and gas!!! Needless to say I will never return to this place. The fried chicken was greasy and so was the pork fried rice. My family of four picked over this meal. To add to this, the service could have been better. The person who took my order was preoccupied and short with me. I should have just turned around and took my business elsewhere!!!!!! Consumers beware. If you don't trust my review. At least open your bag and inspect the food prior to leaving the store. Maybe that's why they staple the bag!!!

I wish I could give no stars. Beware of the delivery driver who is a crook. The delivery charge is already added in to your total. Several times before I was aware of this I tipped an additional $2. Today my total was $14.47 including the $1.50 delivery charge. How about the delivery driver only gave me back $4. nodded & hurried away in his car. I called Hong Kong to complain and the owner was rude and nonchalant about the matter and wanted to know if I wanted my $1 back. I explained that it wasn't about the $1 but that he had an unscrupulous driver. Needless to say I will not be patronizing this establishment any more & the egg foo young I ordered is extremely salty. Wish I could give no star.

Used to love this place till they started to rip me off. They add extra charges after they give you a price. And the delivery is a joke driver sits in his car and has you come to them. If you pay for delivery you should get it to your door.

Love the service. Remembers my orders. Always have fast service. Friendly delivery people. I like to change things up and they always accommodate me without any problems. And oh yeah, they also have great food that tastes fresh.

Meh. We went there for Christmas Day. They were short staffed and only open for 5 hours. The wonton soup was OK. BBQ Spare Ribs - the sauce was way too salty and a bit sweet compared to other places. The service was OK, nothing to go ooh about. Prices are OK too. I got 3 free eggrolls....rather have gotten something else for my $30 order. Probably will not order here again.

Extremely fast delivery, friendly staff, and decent food (for typical Chinese fast-food take out). I called for delivery to my apartment. Now i don't usually order food for delivery because most of the time the order is wrong and they take forever to deliver it, therefore it is cold and sub par by the time your receive it. This food was piping hot, the crab Rangoon I ordered was still crisp, and the egg rolls had not gone soggy. The delivery man was very appreciative when I tipped him generously, a bit surprised even. I was just so happy my food didn't take forever to arrive. Hong Kong Chinese is a sure bet for quick take-out and good service. Truly a 5-star amongst it's peers of fast food Chinese establishments.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
