I recently had to start eating gluten-free and had heard that Deliso has great GF options. I stopped there for lunch and ordered a 6" Italian sub to go. I just couldn't get over that bread -- I really don't think anyone would know they were eating GF if they weren't told! A few days after that, I got a small GF "special" pizza to go. The server explained that GF pizza crusts tend to "get wet" easily, so she carefully vented the box. I didn't start eating it for about 15 minutes, but it was very good. Next time I'd like to try eating one on-site to see if there's a difference. I'm both happy and sad to have found this great GF option so close to home -- I'll have to exercise some self-restraint not to break the budget there...

Easily the best pizza in town. Get the Deliso's special with ham, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushroom, and sausage. You will never forget it!

Great little spot, family run, casual, excellent pizza (and I'm picky about good pizza) and lots of gluten-free options! Our daughter is also dairy free so they made her GF pasta (they offer a few different kinds) with olive oil and garlic. Perfect! She also loved the GF sub roll with olive oil for dipping. Friendly staff, too - we will definitely return next time we are passing thru/visiting Gettysburg.

Great pizza!! The service is super friendly- great place to stop at right by the battlefields and college. Came here twice during out tournament and the staff remembered us. Highly recommend this place. Prices are good.

Saw the rating on Yelp looking for the best pizza in town. We generally eat at Tommys but they use eggs and our son has an allergy. Upon our arrival, this place looks like a typical pizzeria with laminate booths and a tv in the corner. The service was matter of fact but with a taste of Italian charm. We ordered a large....half pepperoni half sausage, onion, and mushroom. The sauce is the closest to real Italian sauce since I had pizza in Naples, Italy. The flavor actually grew with each bite. The pizza is phenomenal. One of the best we have had in a long time. Highly recommend.

We came here because of all of the great gluten free reviews, and found them to be right on! (I only gave it four stars because the crust was underdone on our pizza.) We ordered a side of the gluten free bread, as well as the GF crust for our pizza. The bread was light and delicious, not dry like so many other GF breads I've tried. Also, I have a dairy sensitivity, and the chef remembered when she brought my bread and brought extra sauce for dipping - so kind! Lots to try in Gettysburg, but I would definitely recommend this!

Have yet to have the pizza, but it looks very good. I have had the Italian subs and they are to die for. The bread is always fresh. Definitely our go to place in The area for subs. Always busy but efficient. I want to go there right now but it says they are closed on Sunday?

The great pizza places normally look rundown... very old booths... counter to order at that's right in front of the oven, and Deliso's is just that! I am GF and heard about this place from someone else. I live in Westminster and decided to come out with my mom (who isn't GF) for lunch here. It was excellent. I have tried many different kinds of GF pizza and this is certainly the best. My mom even enjoyed it. The fries were also very good. We got buffalo chicken pizza and she even checked for us if the buffalo sauce had gluten in it. It's prepared on surfaces where they only use GF flour. (I think the owner has Celiacs). They also have spaghetti, ziti, lasagna, ravioli, bread, and subs that are GF. I can't imagine not getting pizza when I go back, but I want to try it all someday! Definitely will return.

The food here is some of the best in town! Great pizza, great salad, great subs! I've tried many items from their menu and never once been disappointed. The owners are a small-town staple! Always working hard, side by side, and smiling/joking with their customers.

The best pizza in town!! Great salads, subs, and delicious pizza! The owners are friendly and make you Feel welcomed. Definitely worth trying if you are looking for a delicious meal.

Definitely best pizza in the area!! Was coming back from a trip in Lancaster and this place by far got the best reviews. Staff was courteous and friendly, the large pizza was huge and delicious and my friend who got a chicken cheese steak said it was very good and flavorful. Definitely would go again and recommend!

Wow. Just wow. Gluten free at its best. We have a daughter who needs gluten free and the rest of us just feel better eating that way too. This gluten free pizza and service (by the owner!) was phenomenal. Looking for a GREAT pizza joint in Gettysburg? Look not further and avoid disappointment by making this place your choice!

As good as it gets. Great pizza and pasta, family owned. Plentiful toppings on the pizza. Never had anything bad there, we eat there several times each time we visit the area.

My wife and two of my kids have a gluten allergy. Every time that we are in Gettysburg we have to come here. They have the best homemade gluten-free breads, sub rolls, and pizza that we have ever had. Best place for gluten-free food!

  • Eric W.

You would never know it to look at the place, but they have by far the best pizza in town. The staff has always been warm and friendly, but there are a few new younger cooks that seem unhappy to have to work for a living, but I digress. The owner is a pizza artist and very funny to boot. The subs that are served are top notch as well, as they use fresh baked rolls made on site. Also if you have asked yourself, "Where's a cop when you need one?", then just stop by here at any given meal time, you are sure to find one.

Very small place with a lot of gluten free options. Was in Gettysburg for a soccer tournament and ate dinner here all 3 nights! My son loved the sub rolls and it was hard for me to tell the sub rolls from regular bread! He finally tried the pizza on the third visit and really liked it as well. The first night they were really busy and the service was a little slow but worth the wait! Not much seating inside but you can always carry out as well! Definitely worth stopping by for gluten free options!

Best gf sub I have ever had! This place is definitely worth the drive. Lots of gf options.

Great pizza- we got a 14" pizza with half the deliso special and the other half chicken BBQ. Husband said he thought our 14" was larger than the norm - ended up taking home half the pizza. Good service, and great food!

Good pizza for lunch time. If you hungry after coming back from Gettysburg National Military park stop here! Personal up to 3 toppings GOOD

Advice to tourists: 1)order by phone, 2) dress down, 3) expect a dumpy storefront on a country road and be prepared to clean your own table before sitting down, 4) don't get the Deliso special pizza (too salty with still raw veggies), 5) remember they can only sell you one beer. The pizza looks good if you like a thin crispy crust with sauce covering only about two thirds of the bread. But the crust is too salty and not yeasty. The sauce is good and so is the cheese but cheese is just barely melted. They have six packs of many types of beer for fair prices. They have many things besides pizza which might be better so you can avoid the over salted crust. The place was busy so the locals must like it. We're spoiled by Vito's Pizza in Clarksburg WV - best we've ever had!

Delicious FRESH pizza!! A not-too-far and very pleasant ride to get there from the center of Gettysburg.

  • Dina O.

This casual place caught my eye when I saw they offered gluten free pizza and other items. Since I am GF I thought this would be a nice 'treat' since it is not often I can have ravioli's and bread. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! I have been to several (GF offered) pizza places back in NJ (south NJ) and in NE Philadelphia/Bucks but this food really has been the best GF I have had. I also love that they carry Pellegrino. Looking forward to coming back next time I am in town. Thank you!!

Absolute must try their subs. The cheese steak or pizza burger are fantastic. The bread is great too. For the salad lovers enjoy the Greek salad. This is a great little place owned by a very friendly, hard working family.

  • Malaika V.

Seriously, THE BEST Pizza ever!!? Hands down!! We loved it, and have had the real deal in NY, DC and Costco (teeheee)!! This was delicious. For $3 you got two slices of cheese and a soda. You can't beat it. I'm only sorry we went on our last day in Gettysburg or else we would have had pizza 3 meals a day for 3 days. The sauce was so good and the cheese devine. Not at all greasy. They give you fresh, out of the oven slices!! Um, I'm totally drooling and I just a slice!! You can't go wrong here!!

The best pizza in Gettysburg--worth the short drive north of town. The decor is not great though--plastic tables, bright lights, tv blaring--best to get take-out.
