Mr. P Pizza & Pasta is fine. Not great, not bad. The pizza and subs here are good, but the pasta is extremely bland. Maybe they messed up? but our Alfredo had absolutely no taste and it also contained no cheese. If it had no cheese that's fine, but no spices? Chef Ramsey would flip out. Mr. P has tough competition in the Rox.

The pizza is good for the area but the delivery wait time is the worst! They routinely underestimate how long it will take and after calling to check on the order they lie and tell you it's on the way when it isn't. On the road to banning them.

I've lived around the corner from Mr. P's for about a year and I never tried the food because I read bad reviews. Finally, after our go-to place, Mingo's, closed down and new ownership came in (we don't like it now) we decided to give it a try. My only disappointment was that we didn't try it sooner! We love it now and they will be our new go-to pizza place! Delicious!

Mr. P Pizza & Pasta is located in a shopping center off of Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown, PA. I have been here many times for the pizza, but only once or twice for alternative items such as burgers. My girlfriend and I decided to dine here the other day after shopping at the nearby Giant food store. There is table service available at this restaurant, but you must seat yourself. If the weather permits, seating is also available outside. This restaurant falls more into the category of delivery and take-out than dine-in. I noticed many of the people who dined here brought children, at least when we ate here in the mid-afternoon. During our experience, my girlfriend had a slice of taco pizza while I had the same with the addition of a slice of white pizza with spinach topping. The pizza here is good but nothing phenomenal, such as any famous New York pizza joint (this should be expected anyway). I usually go for a slice of taco pizza and a slice of white pizza when I come here, so I would recommend either one of those. The staff are friendly and are usually efficient in their service. I will skip reviewing any of their other food as it has been too long to remember how their cheeseburger would compare to somewhere else. I will definitely consider trying something else on the menu next time I come here. Overall, I recommend Mr. P Pizza & Pasta to anyone looking to just grab a slice of pizza for easy take-out.

Pizza is ok, nothing great. The workers are rude and believe it or not, sitting here eating McDonald's! I won't return here.

I give 4 stars because I haven't gotten the pizza yet. I ordered pick-up for my boyfriend and myself for dinner. Got our usual from these types of places, A Chicken Parm Sandwich (yumm) and a different sandwich (today: cheesesteak with onions, delish and good with red sauce too). Both were very good. They told me it would be ready in 30min and it took them about 15! It's also a plus that they are one of the few places that will deliver to us (Lafayette Hill). Definitely will be back for more!!

Usually love Mister P's but frequent another location. This ones staff could use some serious training.. Won't be back.

Food is good but AVOID if there is a soccer game on. The kitchen staff stops working. We just waited 1/2 hour for a kid's pasta.

Came in on a whim because we were hungry and the place seemed clean and popular, given the people coming in and out to pick up food. We decided to dine in, but that was clearly a mistake. Although the staff was really friendly, the food and service was not particularly good. We ordered two sodas, a slice of pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a cheese steak wrap. Within just a few minutes, they brought out the wrap but nothing else. We waited. And we waited. Finally the mozzarella sticks. Still no pizza slice. I mean, they had pizzas by the counter FOR slices. All they had to do was heat it up. We finished the sticks and waited some more before the slice finally arrived, with 5 tiny pepperonis on it. Mediocre food, terrible service. $17. No thanks.

Food is decent but when we got delivery, there was a coupon on the menu that said 10% off all orders over $10.00. We mentioned the 10% on the phone and the guy said that he included it in the price. When we got the delivery, they charged us exactly $1 more for every item. On the receipt, $7 was subtracting being the "10%" They told us that the 10% was applied but it ended up being the regular price without the 10% because they added $1 more to each item. So we did not get 10% off and the price was the same as it would be without the 10%, its just that they lied to us and for that we will not be ordering from there again. Grow up people, learn how to run a business. Get out of your fantasy world and join the real world.

We have now been waiting for over an hour and 45 minutes for our delivery tonight. I've called twice, talked to the manager who merely apologized and said that all the deliveries were being made and "it should be there soon". If I could give a negative star rating I would. Who knows if we will ever get our food tonight. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Pizza was undercooked, over salted, and otherwise flavorless. The eggplant parm sandwich was also completely flavorless. the salad was a heap of iceberg lettuce with an onion and a few veggies on it. Terrible! That menu is going right in the trash. Stay away!

This is a great neighborhood pizza place. Great pizza, great hoagies, and excellent pasta - all better than you'd expect at shopping center pizza place. The staff is always friendly and the place is beautifully decorated which makes for a pleasant dining atmosphere.

frequently do take out dinners from them. Good prices and decent food. Their pizza is always very good. The pasta dishes are hit or miss (I guess depends on what cook is on duty) Over-all good experience and continue to do take out with them.

Nice pizza spot in the Flourtown Shopping Center. Very clean, modern appearance. Staff was very friendly and seemed to know most people walking in by name. Ordered an Italian hoagie, a pepperoni stromboli and some slices of pizza. Hoagie was great. All ingredients were very fresh and I liked the bread a lot. Pizza was pretty solid too. Got a buffalo chicken slice that was good, but I felt that the chicken was over-sized and maybe would have worked better in small pieces that spread out more so it would be featured in every bite. Nothing that bad to say really. Will definitely go back.

I've gone here many times (only in the evening) and I've always found the food and service to be really good. I actually get cravings for their stromboli, which they serve with delicious sauce and a steak knife to cut. My buddy and I ate here tonight, sitting outside. We brought our own beer and split a big stromboli. The cost was $10. Looking at some of the other reviews, I'm glad my experiences here have been uniformly good.

I really like this place for take-out! Dine in is...ok i guess. My boss and I get take out for lunch from here often and we are usually happy. Its your average pizza/sandwich joint. Ive had better and i've had much much worse. Menu recommendations: CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD!!!! It is full of chicken and its really a 2 person salsd. Very good dressing too. Also, if you like a sloppy, full flavored, better use two hands buffalo chicken cheesesteak.. get it here... YUM!!! The pizza is average. The pasta leaves much to be desired though.. DON'T get the so called "bruchetta"... if your idea of bruchetta is a hoagie roll cut length wise with diced tomatoes and salt on it... then you'll love it.. if you actually know what brucetta is you will HATE IT... Its gross... Overall, I like Mr P. for lunch take out and nothing more. Oh, and the fries are pretty good as long as you eat them there, they get soggy if you get them for take out (but that's to be expected with steak fries..so ask for well-done!) Food: C Service: B (take out is quick always friendly but for sit down they seem to be kinda dull/absent minded) Ambiance: D (yah...dull dreary boring) Drinks: they have soda, water, and juice but what more could you expect...

We have ordered take out from Mister P in Flourtown on several occasions. I really like their pizza, but the aggravation is not worth it. Every time we call for a take out order there is some sort of issue, whether the staff isn't listening and we have to repeat our order several times over the phone, to last night trying to order for delivery. We were told that the road we live on was closed--it had reopened as we had just driven on it coming home from work. Then the woman on the phone basically discouraged us from ordering take out because it would be over and hour and continued to argue about the road being closed. We said forget it. You lost our business because your staff is rude and incompetent.

I agree with the preceding reviewer. My immediate impression was excitement. They seemed to have done some remodeling and it looked like a well organized Pizza joint. I ordered the pasta bolognese and had high expectations. I was immediately disappointed. It tasted bland, watery, and had little meat. My wife had ordered a few slices of pizza and had two bites. Perhaps they are new and just starting out. The place looked like it was just redone. I'll check back in a month or two to see if things have gotten better.

I'm sorry Mr. P, I hate to do it but I have to throw you under the bus. The teenage girl workers seem to be gone, you guys made the right move there. But the waitress that you have there now seems to be about as lame-brainish as the others you employed. She focused all her attention on one table and never refilled our drinks, checked to see if our food was OK and in fact never even brought our food to the table until you came out to see what was going on. Why do you have waitresses anyway? There's no need, your a corner pizza shop. Now this is the real kicker, I absolutely believe we received some kind of food poisoning from your place. No less than 20 mins after leaving, my girl and I both were on the hunt for the nearest bathroom. We were sick for 2 days. I don't like to call people out on that but because it was so soon after eating there and coming from both of us, I have no doubt in my mind that it was from here. Needless to say I don't believe I'll making the return trip, Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me.

You really have to work hard to screw up pizza. They did. The crust was flavorless and hard to cut even with a knife, it was so overcooked. There was precious little cheese, and what there was of it was a thin chewy crust atop the bland, almost flavorless sauce. I'll never go there again. If you're in the Flourtown Shopping Center and you crave a slice of pizza, go across the parking lot to Genuardi's. Even supermarket pizza is better. Pfeh!

  • T C.

had sandwiches here not long after they opened and was not impressed. came back last week for a take out pizza and enjoyed everything except the sausage (why pizza places use breakfast sausage instead of real italian sausage is beyond me). Crust, sauce and other toppings were good. it's not going to win any awards, but it's a solid good. given the other choices around flourtown, i'd definitely recommend and will certainly return. staff was quite pleasant as well!

I thought I had reviewed them before, but apparently I was feeling generous and didn't. My first encounter with Mr. P's was a loud , foul mouth female who chose to carry on inappropriate conversations with coworkers, rather then help customers at the counter. I wasn't going to return, but several co-workers swore by the pizza - so I've gone back and had the pizza by the slice and the chicken parm sandwich with no problem. well today -PROBLEM!!! called ahead and ordered a Mr P chicken stromboli - chicken, tomatoes, broccoli, cheese , hold the onions - yum! I went to pick up the order and they collected my money right away, I waited by the door for my order to come up. After about 5 minutes a man that had been standing behind the girls at the counter asked what I was waiting for and found my order sitting on top of the ovens. great! i walk back to my office and cut it open - hmm... looks like beef and i swear i smell peppers. i figure the chicken might be prepared the same as beef, but there are no florets, did they use all stems? Definitely doesn't taste like broccoli. I pulled a few pieces out and asked a coworker what she thought it was she said "peppers". I called to inform them of the mistake and the girl did cover the phone while talking to the guy that had been up front - but, the phone slipped and i heard the guy the cooked it say he didn't make a chicken mister P's, he made a beef Mr P's, which is beef and peppers and cheese... They did offer to bring me a new one, but it was too late my lunch was over. I rarely give second chances, i WON'T give a third!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
