My Job recently transferred me to the area from NYC. Since I've been out in PA one of the things I have missed most is some of the amazing Italian food that, for years, I took for granted. Rinos, OMG! I have been here on numerous occasions since moving to the area. The food is phenomenal. I've never gotten take out, but each and every time I have eaten in house the food has been superb. I have attended several of the beer dinners and Jules, the owners son, is amazing. He has made sure that the experience is second to none. He makes a supreme effort to be sure all of the beer and food are to taste and takes into consideration food allergies. I have not had a dinner or pairing that wasn't of the highest quality. We just got back from a Normal dinner and our server, Patrick (who I've had at the beer dinners), was outstanding! Seriously, someone give this man a raise! Rinos is a fantastic place with owners and servers who remember you and do their very best to make sure you have a hassle free, superb dining experience. 3 cheers to Rionos! Please, please go. (The veal Parmesan is out of this world)

Rinos is such a wonderful family establishment. We have come to dinner at least once a week since moving to this area. Jules is the son of the owner and he has taken us in as family. Great food and beer selection. Service is great and loves to have a good time. These bad reviews are not fair, try a beer dinner and try to rate this place crappy. You owe me $10 if you give it a four star review or better.

Do Not Go Here! The food is bad and they're liars. We bought a $25 off coupon from restaurant.com and when we went to pay, the waiter said the manager decided last week that they don't accept those anymore even though the coupon says "does not expire". Then the waiter said "the owners a real cheap a$$". Needless to say, I'll never go here again!

My friend just went to this awful place. Take notice to the ROACH in her salad to the right of the dish. As if this were not bad enough, the customer service may have been worse if you can imagine. STAY AWAY!!!! They need to clean their kitchen & apparently their staff as well.

I've been here a few times in the past. The service was pleasant and the food was very good. I just went in here a couple days ago to take out a meatball parm, and it was very yummy. The young guy who helped me was very kind, generous, and very sweet. I will be back again when I need my Italian fix.

The beer dinners are fantastic! The owner knows his beer and takes time to select and pair food and beer. He also did not hesitate to make a substution for a friend for a food allergy. The bacon caramel popcorn is awesome!!!

Rinos has good prices and good food. It's a good place to pick something up quick on your lunch break like a slice of pizza or cheesesteak. We had a phenomenal waiter the last time we dined in there, he made us feel like we were at a 5 star restaurant. The lobster ravioli and pizza are the best things on the menu in my opinion.

Repeat visit since I was here last year and the wings were great. I visited again and the wings were really small and they looked like the frozen bag kind. The sauce was good but it was like sauce on a bone. I ordered a beer (22 oz) and that was $9 before tip. This is airport pricing. I will say that the service was excellent but that will not have me coming back. I guess this can be hit or miss.

You are not going to believe this! We did a take out order and it was TOTALLY hosed up. Called and told, literally, "well, too bad, next time you are in, we'll see if we'll credit you." Enraged me. I did a charge back on my card for the $18 bucks they shorted me. Lance, the owner called me and chewed me out on the phone, wrote a 4 paragraph letter to the bank that he had never received a bad review -- and then denied the shortage he owed me! EVERY time I pass the place, I think of this -- and we USED to give them almost $1,800 a year in take out business. Lance -- enjoy the 1% of that you could not make right -- and the YEARS of business you'll never get, gong forward. Expect your take out order to be hosed!

I frequented Rino's often over many years, and even had them cater a few events at my home in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent take-out experienice was a nightmare. Spending over $60 seemed surprising; but also they forgot one of my items. When I called to see if they could credit my card, they said they could only credit my next visit. So, I went to pick the item up - and needed to reheat everything when I got home. There are many options for Italian take out; and it seems I will be using them more often. The quality of the food just OK, certainly not worth the price.

Your odds of them having the beer you ordered on tap is about 50/50. The food is decent if you stick to the regular pizza joint stuff. The menu is way too big. I feel like if they cut it down to the things they were actually good at it'd be a lot better.

Always a favorite but last visit was not good. Service was slow and pizza overcooked. Place was packed so maybe we just were unlucky tonight. Will give Rino's 3 stars as I am a loyal customer but our last visit was a 2

Terrible!!!! My husband and I got very sick the night we ate here! Considering he didn't get a chance to eat anything else that day, and we both got sick around the same time it had to be this terrible food. I had fettuccini alfredo with broccoli, and he had chicken florentine. First, our salads took over half an hour to get to our table. Second, the waitress forgot a water for my toddler, who's sippy cup was empty by then and I had to go to the cashier to get her water. Third, my daughter's ziti was burning hot while both out dinners were stone cold. Fourth, I started feeling off during dinner so I stopped eating. My husband barely ate anything as he was wrangling our toddler, but had to run to the bathroom before we left. He thought he was just sick because he didn't eat all day. His meal didn't smell great, but not bad either. Mine didn't smell bad at all, but tasted off. I only ate maybe a quarter of the food. The waitress brought the check with dinner, no coffee or dessert I guess... Not that it mattered, I didn't even make it home before having to stop at a wawa and got very sick! My husband actually went to the door of the ladies room to make sure I was ok, I was violently sick for almost an hour. This was yesterday, still can't hold down anything but the tiniest bit of water. Doctor's appointment this morning, waiting for test results to diagnose food poisoning. I NEVER get sick from food! The doctor wanted the leftovers to test as well, he said he would be surprised if it came back clean. Avoid this place!! It used to be great, now it's a pit, just look at the kitchen as you walk by! So glad my daughter didn't eat this crappy food!!

First time going there, but my stepson's been several times before. He really enjoys the food, and I'm positive I'll be back. His calzone was very good as was my tripple cheesesteak. The fried mushrooms covered with mozzarella were awesome! Our server was very attentive and I had a refill without having to ask for one.

Rino's catered another office lunch for us today for about 50 people and we couldn't be more thrilled. The service is perfect, family owned and operated, they showed up early to set up and all the food was piping hot and ready to serve exactly when asked. The regular and catering menu is the most extensive we've seen from anyone in the area which gives us a ton of options. The food is delicious and always requested back for our monthly meetings. We have used them over a dozen times and will absolutely continue. Highly recommend them!!

This place is disgusting, I was so pissed I wasted my money here. NEVER AGAIN! Like someone else pointed out they used to be the best back in the 80's and 90's, very popular back then. They had the best wings you could imagine, all the food was just awesome. Not so much anymore, I dont think this place is still owned by the original people. Or if it is, they have gave up running the place and turned operations over to the kitchen staff. If you happen to visit this place take a look at who is preparing your food. That will explain it all...... On my last visit my pizza was served cold and my fries werent that great. Dont waste your time goin here, you will be sorry you spent you hard earned cash.

Call it one-in-five. Thats the chance you take of getting a meal that's not edible. Standard Saturday night crowd, picked out Rinos, because of the local chatter. The place was not full, but seemed steady, mostly families, a whole lot of kids. I ordered one of the specials (three cheese lasagna) and was surprised to have my waiter (who had never waited tables before, but props on your first table!) deliver what appeared to be a block of cheese covered in melted cheese. I gave it a shot, but it was not edible. The cheese was as promised, but over powering, and tasted more like cheez in a jar and kraft American. An insult to Italian food, and it made for a gooey, mushy, very greasy meal. My meal was a great source of amusement for us, so I can't say the night was a complete loss. This is my second attempt at Rinos, I won't make a third. As for the rest, My party also ordered a cheesesteak, a pizza, a quesadilla and a sausage sub; greasy, but all were eaten. Nobody gave the fries a taste, since they arrived both burnt and mushy.

We have been doing business dinners at Rino's for the past couple of months, in their conference room area. For years the owner and his family have been going to Rino's for lunches and dinners. Rino's is a very nice environment to bring your family or business colleagues to dinner. Reasonable prices and always very good service. Once their was a mix up with the scheduled meeting time, Lance the owner was very helpful in getting everything resolved. We have another dinner meeting schedule with them and plan to keep using Rino's. Crawford's

Written on Feb. 9, 2012. This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and it was fairly busy. We ordered a kids meal before anything but it was the last to come out from our group of 4 + a high chair. We ordered basic stuff: pizza, soup salad and wings. We asked for extra crispy pizza and ended up getting a pizza soggy in the middle and crispy crust. The soup was very salty and the salad was mostly lettuce. The wings were okay. Aside from waiting about 10 minutes for to-go boxes, the bill already had an 18 percent gratuity added on to it. I was under the assumption that the 18 percent gratuity was reserved for large parties, I don't think 5 is a lot. The only way we'll come back is if we get either a coupon or some significant discount. Jack's pizza in coatesville is a lot closer and the food is delicious.

8 / 11 of my cheesesteak pilgrimage (see my list!) Ok, all I did was come in and order a cheesesteak to go, so this review is solely based on that experience. First of all, they spelled my name wrong, haha. Really though, the employees here were absolutely sweet, and it looks like it'd be a nice place to sit down and have a family dinner. I really liked the bread on this sandwich, something that's never really stood out for me. Here it had a nice bite and chewy texture. The provolone cheese didn't have the bite I was hoping, but it didn't take away from the sandwich, nor did the mushrooms. It was also a pretty large sandwich. Not too bad for a suburban joint. Just...avoid the wings. They're your average garden variety wings and are nothing noteworthy.

Ate here a couple months ago. The waiter told us to pick any seat we wanted. We sat in the booth in the back corner only to be told rudely by the waiter(I think he may have been ownership/management or a relative) after we had sat down and got comfortable that we couldn't sit there it was a reserved seat. We should have got up and left at that point. But we stayed and had a mediocre meal and very poor service from our cocky waiter. Obviously we won't be eating here again. People like this shouldn't own/run a restaurant, they ought to be bagging groceries or flippin' patties at Mickey D's. Very disappointing.

if your looking for a meal defrosted from a box and put on a plate, this is the place. If you want half your family to get their food and 15 min later the other half get theirs, then this is your diamond in the rough. Want to get up and get your own refills , well stop on down. But let's not forget the atmosphere of dirty silverware and all those oh so special flys swarming all over your food. Giving you that authentic third world unsanitary feel.

We have been coming to Rino's for years. Prices are a a bit high but the pizza is good. Always a favorite for take out or to stop in for a quick bite with the kids.

I went here last night with my family. I've been here before and don't remember anything bad, but last night was different. First of all the service was terrible. We waited a half hour for our food and by the time it came the French fries tasted like they were sitting around for an hour. Must have been a bad night or something, but not my idea of a pleasant dining experience.

Good gnocchi, iffy service. Ordered a side of sausage to go with the gnocchi. It came when everyone else was almost done eating- and it was inedible- cooked to petrification. Alas, they wouldn't take it off the bill, and my gnocchi urges will have to be fulfilled elsewhere.

back in the mid 80's Rino's was one of the best casual italian joints in the area, the pizza, the calzones, the stromboli, the hoagies, the wings-- all quality, the owners and staff actually gave a damn. all that has changed. my last trip back to the area last month was devestating. non-existant server, terrible food--half the food was stone cold, the other half buring hot out of the microwave! yes, a microwave! the place should go out of business!

Ordered fried ravioli and it was still frozen. It was early on a Sunday night and the restaurant was barely full so I can't imagine they were crazy busy. Just bad food in general and bad service. I asked for a side salad and got fries. Then I asked again and repeated the dressing and that I wanted it on the side. Waiter put wrong dressing on salad. At that point I just gave up.

Service was terrible, but not as bad as the food. It took over 10 minutes for the server to greet us after being sat. My wife's soup came out roughly 15 minutes before mine. Then my dinner was served after only waiting an hour and a half for it. Five minutes later, my wife's dinner was served cold. The food was terrible; we could not even eat it. This was a big disappointment after wasting 90 minutes of our life. When the server asked us how are food is, we told him. Rino's was kind enough to comp our soda for the poor experience. If you are hungry for good italian food, DO NOT GO TO RINO'S IN EXTON.

Tried this for the first time over the weekend. The buffalo nugget appetizer, cheese stuffed chicken nugget in buffalo sauce, was pretty good given the mystery cheese. We made the mistake of ordering a large "works" pizza. Just too much food. The pizza is absolutely overflowing with toppings. Some did not get cooked; tomatoes, onions and peppers on the raw side. But incredibly tasty. The tomatoes and, canned, mushrooms were too watery for the thin crust. By the second slice half of the slice was soggy. But man was the first slice good. I'd suggest the thicker style crust for this pizza. I look forward to returning for another, simpler, pie.

If you like Italian food ...don't go here. We had Eggplant Parmesan which was the worst we have ever had..no sauce only cheese on fried eggplant cutlets. Yuck ! The sauce on the pasta was not homemade..very sweet. The clams with white sauce was fairly good but very oily. The bread is not worth eating. The service was friendly but very slow. Pricey for what you get or should I say don't get... the food is not worth eating.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
