Good food, attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, good value for money. Yes, carpet is old and stained in a couple spots, but everything is clean and well kept. For brunch, had eggs, corned beef, home fries and pancakes, and my fiance had the gyro sandwich. Home fries are excellent. We'll be back whenever we're in the area and want diner food.

Stay away... stay far away. My husband I and stopped in here for a quick lunch. Besides the disgusting interior, service was by far the WORST ever. I think there were only 2 adults working but they were in the corner at a table chatting while the "Children of the Diner" aka servers were sitting at the "bar" counter talking about their current first world problems like boyfriends, cell phones, ect. There was even one kid standing behind the counter chowing down on a bowl of macaroni and cheese mouth open hitting on his oh so lovely coworkers. My husband went to the bar to get our tini boppers attention to pay the bill and he stood there for a good few minutes while she finished her rant about Facebook. Oh and here's another kicker. One waitress was telling another one how "I'm not violent but I'd sure as hell handle things!" Loud and proud. This place is worth the money for a nice sideshow. But if u want good food and service I'd pass.

Dirty diner and horrible service all the way up to the owner. It seems that the customer is never right at this place. We've been here a few times - simply because of the geographic location. Bad food, bad service and the worst attitude in the management I've ever seen at a restaurant. Go to the Green Street Grill in Downingtown, or one of the many places in Phoenixville, if you're looking for brunch. Many other choices in the area if you're looking for lunch or dinner. Stay away.

I dined at Lion's Share last week for a quick lunch, just ordered an appetizer of bacon and cheese potato skins, and it was terrible. If I want to eat a half-cooked potato with burnt bacon bits and a half-melted slice of Kraft White American individually wrapped cheese-like product on top, I could make it at home myself. The restaurant itself could be cute if they hired someone to clean it. The server was nice enough, and the coffee was okay, but I was just so disappointed with the lazy food preparation that I won't be returning any time in the near future.

DIRTY...Needs a major professional cleaning. Carpet in dining area is filthy. Soiled blotchy spots throughout with frayed holes in carpet some big enough to trip over. If this is what the customers see, just imagine what kitchen looks like. Menu was extensive. Food was good ...management needs to clean up the place.

Above average diner - the lumberjack breakfast is a great value if you are hungry. Service is attentive, and it has a comfortable, casual feel with a reasonably extensive menu.
