Last few pies we've had have been spot on! The dough has been pretty close to perfection. Highly recommended for pizza lovers!

We had subs...bread was delicious but not enough inside the bread to really make the sub worth it!!!

They make their own dough, you can see them making it and I watched them for a while. During my wait for the food I noticed two kids folding menu's. (Child Labor I like it) And when they were done they asked for something on the menu and when it came to them they said, can we pay? NO! Said the person working there and I smiled. 1. because the kids knew enough to pay for the food and, 2. person working said no and smiled at them. Family.. Ok, this isn't a chain, do not expect them to wear uniforms unless gold and black is considered a uniform. Well it is in Erie and when you walk in if you don't have anything nice to say about the Steelers then just talk about the weather, you will be safer and they do have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Not liking you is "actually" a reason I have used myself when I worked in a pizza shop. The food rocks, pizza dough is wonderful, it beats the snot out of all the other pizza crust in Erie and I make my own at home too. Watching pizza crust being molded takes some real skill but if you do it thousands times a month you better be good at it. The sauce is really good and you they are not cheap on the toppings. Asking for double is asking to unbalance the universe and cause a pizza meltdown. I did warn you. All topping, everything you can think of. The wings, they do not sauce the wings? Yeah I asked and they said we don't "sauce" we give you a container of sauce and that is their policy. I like the sauce dipping from the chicken wings and all over (yes I know I'm a bit of a pig when it comes to wings) and a little extra too. Yes I thinking of that movie Se7en where the one sin is gluttony. If Brad and Morgan show up I'll share my food with them. My feeling is you can't go wrong with this place when it comes to pizza. Good luck on your eating adventures in Erie.

The pizza is the best I've had in Erie. The subs are ok and the Pittsburgh style sub does not match up to Primanti's (but what does?). Service sucks.

Got a small pie and an Italian hoagie. I would get both again. Very happy with the hoagie. The pizza has great potential... The crust is outstanding, but the sauce and cheese lacks flavor. For Erie it's great (because Erie has a lame pizza scene). But this place would get lost in Pittsburgh due to its flavorlessness. It's not a Fioris, Mineos, or Dontes quality, but I really think they would get there if they increased the quality of the cheese and sauce. But there might not be a market for that in Erie. So... For Erie, it's great, and it's where I'll go next time I'm in town.

On my never ending quest to find pizza I liked in Erie, I finally found it!! And now, we're leaving. Thin and crispy this pie is a bit greasy for my taste but it was good. Even my husband liked it. I'm still not sold on the subs but the pizza is solid.

Steel City has great pizza, probably the best thin crust in town. However, the service is consistently terrible and the employees are rude.

Bad food, bad service. I placed a delivery order to my hotel and they refused to deliver to my room. They said I would have to meet them in the lobby. Not a huge deal but I've never had an issue with delivery to a room from anywhere else. Oh well, I just hope the food is good... The food was bad. The pizza dough was dense and tough. It was so tough that you need to take a break from eating because your jaw gets tired from chewing so hard. There was very little sauce, cheese was cheap and bland. The wings are precooked and fried when ordered. This causes them to be really dry, which may not have been so noticeable if they would just toss them in sauce instead of serving them dry. I have never heard of serving wings dry unless someone asks for them that way. I guess I should have ordered a sandwich from the sandwich company, lesson learned.

Staff was friendly lots of seating available for a pizzaria. Ordered a hoogie which was filling and done in a moderate amount of time. It is called steel city because it's a steelers fan pizzaria. So the place is black and yellow team colors for those who are not into football. Will return to eat there.
