The Cowboy ribeye steak was better than the competition by far! Steak came with seasoned stir fry veggies and fries that had good seasoning and parmesan cheese on them. Steak was huge and was perfect. Ive been to the longhorns and the outbacks but this was better. It was busy and the waitress was able to get my meal out to me in record time and every time i was low on my drink she was on it. Very surprised. If you like good atmosphere fantastic food and good service try it out.

This place has a great beer selection, including many craft beers. There are televisions everywhere to catch your favorite game and s separate room with pool tables. While the menu offers many choices, the food is just ok. The energy level of the place seems flat.

It may have been more like an English pub before we visited. We received chips and salsa when we got to our table and I tried the fish and chips which were pretty greasy and tasted odd. I just think it is a place to avoid. It might be more of a college age get drunk bar.

Arrived on a late flight for a business trip. Was looking for a place to get late night (10 pm+) dinner in the Erie area. Found this joint on yelp. This place definitely caters to a younger crowd. Beer is free flowing, specials are ample, televisions are prevalent, and the place is ear-drum-shattering loud. That said...the food was really quite good. The menu is mainly bar eats - lots of fried and melted cheese going on (not that I am complaining!). The chicken fingers were some of the best I've ever eaten - freshly made, not frozen. The service was a little slow (given the big crowd), but friendly. Were I an Erie-based twentysomething, this would be my regular joint. But, given that I'm a little longer in the tooth, I would certainly consider stopping by again - all be it a bit earlier in the evening - for some good chow.

Over-priced for Erie. Good place for groups to gather just wish they had better TVs - BWW and Primantis have way better TVs. Food is very average.

Great atmosphere. Lots of tvs. Friendly staff and really good food. Lots of drink specials. A hidden gem that's not packed during high volume times on peach st. Highly recommend, will return.

I really love coming to the Fox and the Hound. It's in a great, safe area and has a very classy atmosphere. Great place to get drinks. My one complaint would be that at times the drinks can be inconsistent. I've ordered one loopy Leila that is very strong and then the next time I've come it's been extremely weak. I'd like to see some consistency in how they prepare their drink, but other than that it's great!

The food was average - but $10 for a glass of house Chardonnay. YIKES. There are Much better places to go in the area. Stay away and save your wallet.

I really enjoy the food here. I got a groupon $10 for 20, which made my meal pretty affordable. Their spinach dip wasn't the best, but it was edible. The beer battered chicken was really good, but on the greasier side. My friend got the Cobb salad, and it was really beautiful, but her only complaint is that there were too much condiment and not enough salad. Overall, great place to grab a meal and some alcohol with friends.

Great place for drinks. They let us reserve the back room (lots of pool tables) for our group and were very accommodating. The fried chicken strips were delicious!

I had dinner there last night & the food was very good, just what I've come to expect from them. Their beer battered chicken tenders are the best in town & the Ranch Hand burger is great! It's always a good time with a nice clientele.

Delicious drinks, decent music, and ping pong = good times. I guess this is a popular spot for 20somethings and students in Erie. It was pretty busy when we went, but not uncomfortably so. Flat-screen tvs line the walls and play 90s to current music videos and random news/sports channels. They also have pool tables, a mini arcade and ping pong (which we spent like 2 hours playing). Our server was nice, attentive and prompt. I ordered the fish and chips and a couple drinks. The fish and chips are giant--bigger than my face if that's a good measurement, haha. I thought the drinks I ordered (some Patron mixed drink and pomegranate mojito?) were perfectly balanced in terms of alcohol taste and whatever else was in it. Prices are pretty much like anywhere else, but tax is low compared to California so yay! I'm down to return if I'm ever back in the Erie area.

They have a great selection of draft beers (on Tuesdays, it's $2 drafts, so Guinness lovers can rejoice!) and their food is not spectacular, but good. My recommendation would be to try their pizzas or their French Dip sandwich, which is absolutely loaded with juicy, red meat and comes with an excellent au jus and horseradish sauce to dip it in. It attracts many in the 20-30 year old crowd, yet the frat-boy and douchebag crowd mostly stays away, making it a great place for a few friends to hang out and shoot some pool or a guy and a girl to have a casual date.

Nice place to go for drinks, to watch sports or for some pool or ping pong but I wouldn't recommend for dinner. The multiple TV's were so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation, service was slow and had to ask multiple times for drink refills and the food was just average.
