Great burgers, a little pricy but worth it. I usually get the Bison. Very few places in the area serve Bison burgers (or any of the other unusual ones that this place has), and this is probably the best. I come during lunch time, it's rarely crowded and the food comes out pretty quick.

Ordered a burger with no cheese. Even heard the order taker repeat it as she was putting it in. I recieved my burger and it ended up having cheese. When i went to go fix it i did not even recieve an apology or anything. They ended up just scraping the cheese off because there were still remains of cheese on the burger patty. $12 for a burger and the customer service is not good. I work in food biz and i wouldn't do something like that for a paying customer for something that was my fault.

Are the burgers good? Yes, but it's not worth the price of $10+ for burgers. Especially when fries are extra. Side order portions of fries etc..are small for the price.

Awesome place! Two kinds of house made veggie burgers and ALL kinds of animal burgers, including elk, venison, and ostrich! I had the Cornhusker burger which was made with black beans and corn with BBQ sauce. My brother had an elk burger. Both of us enjoyed. Thoroughly.

My friend and I both had the bison burger. I ordered mine well done and my friend ordered his medium. Both burgers were cooked to perfection so when I'm in the area I'll definitely go back.

We've been meaning to try this place for a while and finally had occasion to stop in for a bite. Initial impression was: (a) there are an impressive number of burger options and (b) they are all a bit pricey. For a first try we settled on the relatively budget-friendly "Rookie" which is a quarter-pound patty with a side of fries or tots - my partner got the beef while I tried the turkey. I got mine on a bed of greens rather than a bun ($1 extra) and from the host of premium topping choices added mozzarella ($0.50) and guacamole ($1). We also got a soda and a cup of water - if you want water, though, get a bottle as it was gross (BYOB is also an option here). Our burgers were done quickly. The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, and the fries were somewhat crisp with a good flavor and not overly oily. My bed of lettuce was fresh and generous, as was the hunk of mozzarella - the guacamole felt stingy (although it was tasty) but overall I suppose it balanced out. Final verdict: a bit expensive for a stop-in counter-service burger joint but the food is appropriately high quality and so definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a gourmet burger in a casual atmosphere.

I stopped here for a milkshake because the ice cream comes from Longacre's dairy. Since it was lunchtime I decided to try the food, too. They have an impressive menu that includes ostrich, Kobe, elk, bison, and venison, but I just stuck with regular beef. To complete my meal I ordered their "small" fries. Maybe if I hadn't had the milkshake I would have been okay. The milkshake was the best I have found in the Lehigh Valley. At $5.65 it is also the priciest. I had just the basic burger and it was really tasty. I could only finish half because it was so large. When I opened the fries container I thought for a moment the young woman had given me large fries instead of small. That's a LOT of fries. So if you go, go hungry. Downside: they have "teriyaki" misspelled in a couple of places on their giant menu on the wall, and it is really weird to look at.

So-so food. Go for the excitement of trying something new. Every burger I have tried has been good except the ostrich. Stay away from that one.

Not sure why it had so many good reviews. We went here because it sounded like the food was amazing. Meh. It was ok, but definitely not the best burgers around. Hubby ordered an Angus beef burger and I ordered a burger with bacon and French fries and special sauce on it. We both had milk shakes, which were fine. Fries with cheese and bacon. Yummy. Still, we won't probably be going back anytime soon. Pretty pricey for just so-so burgers.

I mostly love this place and would love to give it 5 stars but it has been inconsistent at times. It seems to depend on who is manning the grill whether or not the burger will be a fabulous and yummy, juicy, pink medium or a barely pink and dried out how are you possibly calling this medium? But when it's done right it is seriously THE BEST beef burger I have ever tasted. (Now I will add the disclaimer that I was a vegetarian for the past 8 years before recently going back to meat so maybe I am not the best judge...but IMO their meat is awesome) So far I have tried the : GREEN TERROR (Beef burger, Cheddar, Bacon, BBQ) HORNET (Beef burger, Sauteed Mushrooms, Crispy Onions, Roasted Garlic Spread) GOLDEN BEAR (Pork burger, Cheddar, Red Onion, Sweet BBQ) TERRAPIN (Portabella Mushroom, Bruschetta, Mozzarella, Balsamic Glaze) I LOVE the GREEN TERROR and get it almost every time I go because why mess with perfection? The HORNET was ok, needed more garlic spread and definitely needed cheese. The GOLDEN BEAR was kinda weird...it's a pork burger and tasted good but I don't really think I like pork... The TERRAPIN was AWESOME!! Obviously it would have been pretty much my only option here in the past but I love it now even as a carnivore. They also have all kinds of specialty (weird) meats like Ostrich (heard it's really good but can't seem to bring myself to try it), Elk, Bison, Prime Rib, Kobe etc. Sides are mediocre at best but you don't really need them anyway with these big old burgers. Milk shakes are good, I had a pumpkin one in the fall but at $6 each are a tad pricey. The staff are always friendly but service can be a bit slow. There is one lady in particular who is friendly but very slow almost to the point of causing extreme annoyance. For example she will first not notice that your food is all done so it will be sitting there for a while. Then once she notices she will load all your boxes into a bag, then unload them and look in each one again, load them all back in, then decide hmm now these should go in two bags not one so now I'll unload this bag yet again...stuff like that. This has happened to me SEVERAL times here with this same lady lol. If you're in a rush this can be very annoying but if not just laugh it off and enjoy your awesome food.

This was my first time to visit and was def worth the drive to get to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted as the lady manning the counter tried to help us pick from the various options. We settled on the golden bear and i got the hokie. My buger was very juicy and tasty. The golden bear looked great but could have used a lil seasoning. The side of fries we got left a lot to be desired but hey, when your hungry. ... in all we enjoyed our visit and will be going back! Hmmm maybe we will order shakes. ..

The burgers are cooked to perfection. A ton of variety, including burgers made from beef, chicken, elk, lamb, pork, venison, turkey, and seafood. Also, two distinctly different vegetarian burgers: a black bean/corn one and a portabella mushroom burger. And don't forget to try the sides: pierogies, corn nuggets, fried pickles - something for everyone.

Burgers/Chicken here is amazing. Bison, Beef, Kobe. OMG! I don't go here a lot, because like some other yelper's say it is a little on the pricey side, but every once in a while you have to treat yourself.

Astonishingly good burgers, fries and shakes. Not much else on the menu, but when the burgers are this good, what more do you really need?

Hidden gem! While my personal sandwich tastes are limited to beef and chicken, this place has a HUGE range of different meats, so there is something for everybody! Would definitely eat here many more times. Good food, quick service, and reasonably priced!

Went here several times. It's about a 5 min drive from where I live. The prices are steep but the quality of the burger outweighs the cost. Instead of a regular burger bun or kaiser roll, they used a good brioche-type bun. I was never disappointed coming here. Burgers are huge and always juicy. The onion rings are okay, the flavor of the batter is good but the rings separate from the crust when you bite into them. I've been to upscale burger joints in Philly (ie iron chef Garcia's Village Whiskey) and I still think the burgers here are better.

  • Lisa A.

Paid over $30 for 2 people including 2 burgers 2 sodas and fries to share. I would expect something better than processed cheese for that price. My burger was seriously underdone I asked for medium but it was red and bleeding still. We really used to like this place and didn't really notice the price I guess but you really need to be consistent if you want to charge those kinds of prices.

Living in Austin, TX i'm a little spoiled by Burgers, I liked that they had a great selection of meats to choose from. Even more happy that my wife whos a vegetarian could eat their veggie burgers. Price was, very expensive for the size of the burgers. The elk burger was $11.65 by its self. Compared to places in Texas, which usually are in the $5-7 dollar range for similar size and toppings, it was on the steep side. Giving them 4 stars since its a nice little place, with friendly staff and its probably a little harder to get these meats in Emmaus, PA. Come to Austin, and I'll show you the best burger in town for comparison :)

A great place for unusual burgers. Meats range from Beef to Ostrich, with different types of toppings and sauces. They make a really great Turkey burger. Love that they offer sweet potato fries. I like that I can have a healthy burger here.

Solid gourmet burger joint. Nothing worth writing home about, but when you're in the mood for a really good burger and don't want to cook it yourself, this is a good place to go. I love their pork and bacon burger. The draw here is definitely the different combinations of burgers and ingredients more than the quality of the burger or prep itself (I have yet to get a truly rare "rare" burger out of them).

Stopped in for a late lunch/ early dinner. When I walked in I was overwhelmed by the menu. There was a lot of choices from bison, elk, ostrich, prime rib and regular burgers. I did notice the prices were slightly high for some things, not being an ostrich expert I don't know the going rate. So my wife and I went for the "badger" burger. Simple bacon, cheese and sauce. Since it didn't come with fries we got a small to split and a side of fried pickles and 2 colas. The burgers were great. Probably gourmet. But the fries were lacking, smaller than shoestring fries and not up to par with such a good burger. The fried pickles were ok. I was hoping for fresh battered but you could tell they were from frozen. The total for the meal, 2 burgers 1 small fry 1 fried pickle, and 2 colas was 32.00 and I gave a 5.00 tip.( the burger was great). So almost 40.00 for 2 meals at a burger joint. Since it is a burger place I gave my 4 stars on the quality of the burger I had.

I've been to the Burgery twice. The first time I had a standard beef patty and it was good but nothing to write home about. We decided to come back here yesterday and I decided to go with the bison patty; and what a great choice! My burger consisted of a bison patty, white roll, American cheese, bacon, a fried egg, lettuce, and mayo. It was EXCELLENT. The bison had a taste reminiscent of steak, it was great. I ordered a plate of fries as well, they were good. My only con is my meal (bison burger, small fries, and a regular fountain soda) came to $19 bucks and change. Pretty pricey but was excellent tasting. I would recommend!

This place is fantastic. Their burgers are a good size and made with quality ingredients. You can get more then just a typical burger. You can get elk, venison, turkey, and of course bison. It's a little pricey but worth every penny

Do you like college football? Good...no excellent burgers? old school icecream shakes? How about some cheese covered fries? How about a place that will satisfy all your desires? This is it! Also its BYOB, so you can bring along your favorite alcoholic beverage! The burgers here are a little pricy, but well worth it considering their quality and uniqueness. The burgers are named after college football teams, Nitanny lions (lamb burger over mediterranean inspired tzatziki sauce), Crimson Tide (Elk burger with marinara sauce, provolone, crispy onions and garlic spread) etc. They have some burgers with Bison, Ostrich meat as well. MY personal favorites (not necessarily the football team..hah!) are the Nitanny lions, Longhorn, Panthers and the Hornet. I usually get a chocolate milkshake and the wolverine fries (Fries covered with cheddar, bacon and ranch....touchdown!). Try this place and fall in love.

The burgers are incredible. Not cheap, but surely what burgers should taste like. The selections they offer are vast. Worth the few extra bucks compared to the other fast food junk. Far better than 5 Guys too.

I had a late lunch here yesterday and I must say that I had a wonderful experience all around. The woman who greeted us was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable as first timers. The selection of burger combinations are so exotic that it's hard to choose! I think if you're gonna pay the price you might as well be adventurous! I settled on the Bison burger with some oooey-gooey melted Monterey Jack and Onion rings and my daughter had the Kobe with cheddar and fabulous onion fries-delish! Very generous with the portions somewhat pricey, but this is REAL MEAT, not McDonalds! Next time I come I want to be bold and daring and try an Ostrich burger!

I went to the burgery company for the first time with my family. I ordered a Kobe burger as well as my wife. I ordered a rookie burger for my son. I requested the burgers medium rare but they were all cooked well done. Burgers also lacked flavor as if no salt was used. Worst part of it all was that the bill came out to $50. I've had burgers that were worth that amount of money but the burgery company's is not.

If you are looking for a great burger joint. Look no further!! My girlfriend and I stopped in to check it out. We love new ideas with food and seeing the variety of meats and college themed burgers, it was an eatery playground. I purchased the Golden Bear. This was made with pork. I know what you are thinking, pulled pork? No, a pork burger. The burger came out juicy and biting into it was like I was eating pulled pork, the combo of pork, sweet bbq and cheddar was delectable. I'm not a stickler for price but having gourmet burgers with the fresh quality meats, it is definitely something worth a try. With the variety, I'll be back for many more!

  • Ryan L.

Didn't spring for one of their uber expensive burgers, but the beef burger that I ordered was fantastic. Certainly a much better experience than a fast-food option, and just as expensive as something that you'd pick up at Dorney Park (since my fiance and I travel through Emmaus to get there). Only quarrel is with the prices, since even their beef burgers are on the pricier side. But such is the price of a good burger, and all of the variety of meats to choose from (bison, turkey, fish, ostrich, kangaroo, etc.).

    (4)
  • Justin P.

By far, the best burger you can get in the Lehigh Valley. They even have special burgers every once in a while(for a bit they were doing Kangaroo!). They have traditional beef burgers as well as odd burgers(that were actually pretty tasty) like bison, elk, ostrich, etc. The fries were okay but I think I'll try their sweet potato fries next time instead.

The hubs & I wanted a quick & not horribly expensive late lunch in Emmaus, and I didn't want fast food. Then we remembered that our new house is like a half mile from here and we'd not been yet, so off we went. Showed up after 2 pm and there was only one family there. We had to wait a few minutes to place our order (the counter lady was taking a phone order), but we needed some time to make our decisions, anyways. We ended up deciding to split an Aztec Burger and a small fry. We got our drinks fairly quickly and had a seat. Aside from the tables in the back that are straight out of Quiznos, this place actually has made a pretty nice transition away from its Quiznos days. It took a bit over 12 minutes to get our food...seemed like forever, but they were making everything fresh, so it takes time. And it was worth the wait! Yum yum burger goodness! One of the best burgers that I've had in the Valley. And they were kind enough to cut it in half for us in the back. The fries were pretty good...not as good as Sagra, but similar style. The fries here are greasier. We'll definitely be back...Aztec Burger + small fry + small soft drink was a bit over $13. Yes, definitely not cheap, but it was enough for 2 so it wasn't a bad value.

The Burgery is a neighborhood burger joint in Emmaus. It's not fancy but it is clean and the staff are very friendly. I've been here multiple times and lately the food quality has been inconsistent, but today my burger (green hornet - cheddar cheese, bacon, bbq sauce) was perfectly done, juicy and delicious! They also have quite a variety of burgers made with different meats - ostrich, bison, etc. The fries used to be very good but the last few times I've been here they were overdone, hard and disappointing. Today they were meh but my burger was really good. Out of town guests with me enjoyed their visit here as well.

good burgers and fresh cut fries. A little pricey and the business seems slow so being who I am, I am worried about beef turnover and freshness, although this has never been a problem. Give it a shot if you are close buy. Small Dunkin Donut kind of tables so you may not want to hang out, Eat and go.

I had a really good bison burger. Really good, but really pricey. I could do better buying the buffalo in the grocery store and making it myself.

The Burgery sits in the corner of the Blockbuster building in Emmaus that used to be occupied by Chestnut Street Deli. The Chestnut Street Deli was a pricey upscale-wannabe deli... The Burgery is a pricey gourmet burger...y. The Burgery hopes to fill the gourmet burger spot occupied by places like Red Robin, but Emmaus has no Red Robin so The Burgery has little competition for what it does. And what it does, it does well! I went in the other day ready to experience Five Guys Burgers and Fries, but a lot closer (and you all know I think Five Guys is the second coming of the burger messiah). But The Burgery is NOT Five Guys. While Five Guys serves up fresh, big, juicy burgers... The Burgery servers up fresh, big, juicy, GOURMET burgers -- and there is a difference. The burgers all start and 1/2 lb at The Burgery... and the you add on from there... from burgers with bacon and blue cheese, to the special sauce on The Burgery Burger to turkey burgers, pork burgers and even bison! You will pay an extra dollar or two for a burger at The Burgery. But it is well worth the price!

I went here on a whim when my mother and I were in the neighborhood. The menu is quite extensive including all sorts of meats like ostrich, lamb and bison. I opted for a bison burger and ordered it "medium." Most places overcook bison because it is so lean (I prefer my burgers medium well). Well it was my bad, but the burger was on the pinker side of medium, and still a bit bloody - too much for my taste, but I ate it anyway. I thought the bun was very good, and the fries that came with my mom's classic burger was tasty - but a little too thin for me. My burger wasn't structurally sound and I had to eat it with knife and fork. The food was good, and I would probably would go back again if I were hungry and driving by, but I wouldn't drive over just for their burgers.

This place is amazing. A huge variety of meats, local produce and friendly staff. I got the lamb burger and it was simply delicious. Fresh ingredients, tasty roll, quality meat. My fiance got the sun devil, and he was equally impressed. It does take a little while for your food as everything is made to order. It is a bit pricey, but I don't think it's much different than five guys. You can get a regular burger with toppings for a cheaper price, but when you want the different meats (elk, bison, lamb), it does raise your costs. I agree with Andrew H in that this could easily have a better service plan. There's a tip jar at the counter which I thought a little odd as I had to go up to place my order, and again to get my own food. The food is amazing though, so minor inconvenience.

This is my favorite place to grab burgers and milkshakes. I usually get The Burgery Original with American Cheese and add bacon on it. One of these days I'll get the courage to try one of their exotic burgers (perhaps the Roadrunner ostrich burger). As for their sides, I think their fried pickles are disappointing. Their tater tots are really crispy and fun. I felt like a kid eating them.

Really great burger, fries, milkshakes. I am always on the lookout for restaurants that serve game like Bison, Venison & Elk. I had the Bison burger and it was awesome. The place itself was nothing special, but the quality of the food was more than enough to give it 5 stars.

My husband and I recently decided to drive to Emmaus from Bethlehem, in search of a good burger. We're glad we made the trip. These are by far the best burgers in the Lehigh Valley. I had the Burgery Original with cheese; he had the Hornet (sautéed mushrooms, crispy onions & roasted garlic spread); and our two preschoolers split a kid's meal. The burgers are huge so I opted to only eat half of mine and take the rest home for later. It was so juicy and tasty, though, I could have easily wolfed down the whole thing. My husband thought his Hornet burger was great, too. The sliders that come with the kid's meal are the perfect size for little ones, and I like that you can opt for carrot sticks over the tater tots. My kids don't normally eat a lot when served a hamburger, but they tackled these with enthusiasm. Bonus: I knew I was in the right place when we picked up our baskets and discovered that they serve sweet gherkins on the side rather than the typical dill pickle. I think I'm in love. We did not order any side dishes from the menu. I was pleased with the service since they went out of their way to offer milk for our kids when we asked. They have milk on-site for their milkshakes but it's not a standalone item on the menu. I'd like to see them add this as a menu item in the future, but was happy that they could make it work. The restaurant itself was clean and had plenty of seating. They have booths and regular tables, and I saw high chairs stashed nearby. The restrooms were clean and large enough for parents to take the kids in with them. I wish it weren't so far away as it's a bit of a haul to go for a burger, but I imagine we'll be making the trip periodically anyway. If you live in or near Emmaus, it's a no-brainer.

Great selection of burgers. THe prices are a bit high but that is probably the result of the different burger meat. You can get bison, venison, elk, ostrich, etc. I've had them all and enjoyed them all. Good atmosphere. THey need to tweak their fries. They are not that good and that's why I gave them 3 versus 4 stars. If you have a good burger you need good fries to compliment it. I've ben there about 6-8 times.

Imagine my excitement when I found out that a true Burger Joint was only a quick ride away. I quickly found the online menu and drooled over the interesting combinations and array of different meats, poultry and fish burgers to enjoy. After a few scheduling mishaps, I finally made my way over to Emmaus for lunch. The parking lot was filled which I hoped was a good sign. The smell of the food was even better. I ordered a Bison burger while my partner in crime ordered a burger built on a fillet of Whitefish. We found a seat in the drive-in style dining area and eagerly waited. My name was called (Oh how I love that) and I was handed two cafeteria style trays. I have seen it time and time again...on paper or while reading it from a screen the menu looks superb...drawing you in like a vacuum hose, up until you take the first lackluster bite. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Such an average burger that left so much to be desired. The roll was the best part of the entire burger...no...perhaps the slice of tomato OR the napkin on your table. They simply did not deliver in the food they way they masterfully worded the items on the menu. The burger paddy was overcooked and tasteless. My poor friend's fish paddy was undercooked. I guess they forgot to mention that if the crappy cook is there that day then it's a sashimi burger in the very center. I will give them credit for mediocre fried pickles since those are hard to get right almost anywhere. Wait...I will give them credit for mediocrity? Wow...

I go to the Burgery Compay maybe two or three times a month, and they have some of the best burgers in the area. The only thing I ever got there that I didn't like was the The Blue Hen, which is a fried buffalo chicken "burger". It was overcooked and tasted like it was fried in old oil. But as I said the burgers are really good, as are the fries...usually. I did one get what looked liken order of french fry crumbs. The main issue stopping me from going more often is that they are way overpriced for what they are and the atmosphere is less appealing than some McDonald's I've been in. A burger and fries will run you about $15, and if you "build your own" burger, more like $20...in fact if you build one of the same burgers that's on the menu, it would be like $4 more. The prices wouldn't be all that bad if they improved the decor and made it more appealing to go sit down and eat there. They're BYO, so that would make it even more enjoyable. It's like eating at a cheap fast food joint sparsely decorated with a local/college sports theme. It's definitely worth a try as they have really good burgers, but for me it's a once and a while things, and only for take-out.

Great burger. I have stopped in twice on my way home from MA or CT. Burgers are always cooked perfectly. The only problem is that its not closer to my home. On the bright side my waist line thanks you for not being closer to my house. Oh, thought of one more bad thing, the burger was so juicy that when I ate it in my car on the way home I had to tuck in about 5 napkins into my shirt and ended up having a sloppy steering wheel to go along with it. Wait, nevermind. Not a bad thing at all.

So far I've been to this place twice. I first went with my sister and was pretty impressed with the selection of their menu. I never had prime rib in burger form and that goes for the bison, ostrich, veal, and venison too. I had the lumberjack the first time around and it was awesome! I ordered it medium rare and it came just right though I think next time medium would be better. It's too juicy medium rare and so every bite was a little messy ;]. Today I got the original burgery with cheese because I wanted to try just a normal burger. As far as a basic burger goes they hit the nail on the head. For the size of the burger and them also being made fresh to order, I'd say the prices are reasonable. It's about the same as a friendly's burger price wise but flavor and size wise a lot bigger. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone craving a good juicy burger.

My family and I went to The Burgery this afternoon for lunch after reading the other Yelp reviews - and to try this new burger place less than one mile from our house. Like another reviewer said, these are "gourmet" hamburgers - without a huge price, I didn't think - and I left knowing that I would be back soon. You order at the counter, give your name, and they bring you your food after creating the burgers. My wife and daughter had The Aztec - one of the beef burgers - and I had the lamb burger. Well cooked, seasoned appropriately, hot, fresh, with just the right veggies and condiments for it. They serve beef, bison, lamb, elk, venison, chicken, turkey, fish, and veggie burgers (there may be some others, can't remember all of them) Wow - what a selection of meats. We also got the french fries and onion rings. The onion rings are cooked in a Black and Tan beer batter (if I remember correctly). I had the french fries and they were cooked perfectly, with almost no grease on them at all. The staff was very friendly at this four week old restaurant. Business was good, but not too crowded. Though I think when word really gets out about The Burgery, they may have to build an addition to it! Located next to the Blockbuster video on Chestnut Street just east of the Turnpike, you will be very happy that you tried out The Burgery! UPDATE: The Blockbuster video store has closed. The Burgery is in the far left of the building, which is about 500 feet east of the Penn Turnpike. It's easy to miss, because the Blockbuster building took up so much space and now sits empty.

We arrived at The Burgery Company at 8:20 pm only to find that, ironically, they closed at 8:20 pm. The staff still, kindly, took and made our order anyway. Most places wouldn't do that! As it says in the other reviews, they have a unique selection of burgers and toppings. For 3 burgers (regular, venison, and elk) it cost $33, so it is a little on the pricey side. The restaurant decor is very reminiscent of a Quiznos (apparently, that's what it used to be), so it isn't fancy. The important thing is that the burgers were excellent, both in size and taste. I would definitely like to return and try the other unique burgers they have to offer.

The absolute best bison burger I've ever gotten in a restaurant! The service was very fast and the burgers are made to order so it takes a few minutes to get your food. Definitely recommend this place.

The Burgery is probably the Lehigh Valley's only gourmet fast food burger joint. The serve a good burger and they serve it quick. The menu has a wide variety of burgers. They run the gambit on toppings and you can choose your meat with each one. It is an opportunity to try a game meat in a familiar setting. The food was good and the service quick. Despite liking the food, I have two caveats. Everything is kind of expensive. A burger meal will run you around $15. I feel like that is kind of pricey for a place with no atmosphere and no waiter service. Also they cooked my burger Medium-Rare without me asking. This kind of grossed me out since its hamburger meat and I prefer it to be a little more cooked. I think the default should err on the side of more well done.

Yes a bit pricey, but whereelse can you get animaginative burger in the valley. I had the prime rib burger twice, the fish burger, the ostrichburger and hopefully many more. I do wish the place had more charm as it does feel like a fast food place, but I don't want you to leave.

Fantastic food... Among the best burger I have ever had. VERY DISAPPOINTING customer loyalty program... Supposed to be buy ten and get one free, but don't wait too long or it's buy ten and get jack!

I had a burger made of elk, need I say more? Great customize menu, my elk tasted fantastic. And I could get it on a salad instead of on a bun. So many combos, must come back.

If you want a good burger, look no further. The most appealing part of this place is their selection of all kinds of exotic meat. The burgers themselves are huge and I almost want to call them "gourmet". The venison burger I had was incredible and I totally recommend stopping by if you are in the lehigh valley.

Tonight was our 2nd visit and will be our last. First visit tried the bison burger and was not impressed. This time tried the regular burger and did not even finish it. The meat does not have a fresh taste for this being their specialty. Everything must be frozen. Prices are high for what you get. Spend your money elsewhere!

I was back in Emmaus for a visit, and we dropped by The Burgery for an early dinner. The menu was interesting and everything sounded tasty--it was hard to decide! We ended up with a variety--among the four of us, we had elk, chicken, black bean-and-corn, and sliders. Plus, of course, sweet potato fries and an order of corn fritters. Wow. Everything was delicious, portions were generous (I had enough for lunch the next day), and the service was friendly. Love that there are free refills on the soda. I could eat those corn fritters every day. So happy to see someone trying to do really good sauces, sides, burgers, etc right here in the hometown.

I had the sun devil It was a spicy delight. Fried anaheim chilis, pepperjack, and salesa, and fire dust. Wife had the Crimson Tide... Elk with Marinara and crispy onions (her favorite part.) Service was good, but we expected slightly more service for what we paid (easily sit-down waiter service elsewhere.)

We eat at the Burgery Company once in a while. The burgers are always good and the side dishes are interesting and different. My one surprise was I ordered a fish burger and it came fried - i had just assumed it would be a grilled filet. My bad - i should have asked. I do agree that the prices are somewhat steep. This is not a place we pop into for "cheap eats"!!

  • Momma M.

The most disgusting burger I've ever eaten. Poorly and unevenly cooked. When I showed the raw meat to the waiter and asked if that looked medium cooked he said their medium had some pink in it. Pink? It was raw! So gross! The fries were oily and mushy. I'd think that if you are a specialty restaurant, i.e., just burgers, you'd cook them to perfection - this was anything but that. $30 for 3 burgers, two drinks, and a small order of fries. Bottom line: save your money and go somewhere else.

Great burgers! A lot of exotic meats, and tasty rolls. They serve the burgers cooked exactly to the ordered temp even when I order my burger rare (shows they trust their meat). My gave is the ostrich burger. Sweet potatoe fries are very good as are the fried pickles. The lamb burger is also great. Not cheap though, at least for the game meats, but that is to be expected.

Hidden gem! While my personal sandwich tastes are limited to beef and chicken, this place has a HUGE range of different meats, so there is something for everybody! Would definitely eat here many more times. Good food, quick service, and reasonably priced!

Great burgers, a little pricy but worth it. I usually get the Bison. Very few places in the area serve Bison burgers (or any of the other unusual ones that this place has), and this is probably the best. I come during lunch time, it's rarely crowded and the food comes out pretty quick.

  • Justin M.

One of the best burgers around. Cooked just right; and not too greasy. Their hand cut fries were delicious as was the Burgery sauce. Definitely a place to visit.

Awesome place! Two kinds of house made veggie burgers and ALL kinds of animal burgers, including elk, venison, and ostrich! I had the Cornhusker burger which was made with black beans and corn with BBQ sauce. My brother had an elk burger. Both of us enjoyed. Thoroughly.

  • Benjamin H.

Yes a bit pricey, but whereelse can you get animaginative burger in the valley. I had the prime rib burger twice, the fish burger, the ostrichburger and hopefully many more. I do wish the place had more charm as it does feel like a fast food place, but I don't want you to leave.

Great burgers, a little pricy but worth it. I usually get the Bison. Very few places in the area serve Bison burgers (or any of the other unusual ones that this place has), and this is probably the best. I come during lunch time, it's rarely crowded and the food comes out pretty quick.

We went here after a child's birthday tonight to grab dinner for us plus our two children after someone recommended it to us. We arrived 15 minutes before close, my husband went in and ordered, food cost over $40 and it took 20 minutes. On the way home I opened up my TO GO box to eat my bison burger that was ordered med-well and it was pink and still bleeding!! Of course they were closed and we couldn't take it back, but my daughter also hated her turkey burger even though she was super hungry. I DO NOT recommend this place, please drive the extra 10 minutes to Elevation Burger for organic chicken and beef burgers with loads of toppings.

Hmmm maybe we will order shakes. ..

This place is alright if you get one of their specialty burgers - make your own and you will end up paying a small fortune for your burger!

burgers are good and juicy but expensive, considering no fries. Onion rings are not worth it.

We had burgers here and they weren't bad. I had the veggie burger, and I've had better. My bf really likes the burgers here. The fries are good too.

Wow...
