I have only been to Martins a few times, but know many people that enjoy meals here. I get my fix of Groff's scrapple here, along with the Blueberry Corncakes. Both delicious. There are always people there, they combine their BBQ into a few of the breakfast selections. I promise to try something different next time!

Most of the things we've tried there over the years have been pretty good to decent. Recently though, we decided to stop in for breakfast and discovered the blueberry corn griddle pancakes and now we're addicted. They are SO good! Definitely a must try! A lot of times they're really busy though and it can be tough to find a seat in the tiny restaurant. I think it may just be time for an expansion.

I loved the service and I will eat there again some other time. But, being a self-proclaimed expert on Barbeque and smoked meats, I was sorely disappointed. I have had the experience of smoking my own meat and eating smoked meat in many locales of the USA and this area of Pennsylvania is really lacking in this cusine. The beef brisket was more like thinly sliced roast beef with no real smoke flavor and certainly no pink smoke ring like any smoked brisket should. The smoked sausage was dry and tasteless and the ribs were not very smokey at all. The sides were good but the barbeque was very poor and that is not good at the prices of beef and meat nowadays.

Great FRESH food, quaint spot, & I love their little country store in the back! Our waitress was awesome! She catered to my needs when ordering & I was able to order my wrap to my specifications. You don't get that anywhere you go! We used our Yelp $10 for $20 coupon & the owner came out & started talking with us. He then told us about their new menu coming out in 10 days, that will feature Farm to Table items, ahi tuna, salmon & many more this summer! They will be changing it up every month with a new "specials items" menu. He then gave my husband a bottle of his homemade BBQ sauce, just so he could try his original flavor! That was a really nice thing for him to do! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

The food was very good and fresh. We especially liked the blueberry corn griddle cakes. The service was kind of slow, but they were pretty busy.

I'll start by saying that we enjoyed our breakfast so much that we went back for dinner!!!!!!! Prices are good and their blueberry corn fritter pancake was so good I am dreaming about them! The service was very friendly and we just had a great time. That evening we had Melissa as our server and she was a hoot as she helped us rationalize away the calories in things we ordered!!!! Yummy BBQ and meatloaf and cornbread......AND cherry and apricot crumble. I thought the Apricot Crumble was amazing. We want to be regulars but live too far away!!!! It is only about 10 minutes from Hershey -- go there!!!

Good ol' fashion country cookin! I had the country fried steak meal with over medium eggs and it was delicious. The server (Alicia) was extremely pleasant and took great care of us. The wait for the food was only a few minutes, and we were all happy with our dishes! I would suggest heading to this place for tables of 4 or less, but if you have more than 4 call ahead and make sure they have the room to push a few tables together. Add the peppers and onions to your home fries it really kicks it up a notch! We also were able to use a 10% discount from Yelp which was welcomed as well! All said and done our table of 6 left full, happy, and stuffed for 55$! Great spot off the hershey touristy area... the drive from the park area to the restaurant is pleasant and you get to see alot of the local town and neat homes.

So I love the blueberry corn griddle pancakes, but the service itself is subpar. The waitresses are nice, but they seem like they're faking their enthusiasm. There are truly nice waitresses, but some are just rude. The place is really small, and after many years of being here, they still haven't expanded. I think they should get rid of the gift shop and make the place bigger. Too small for the amount of business that they get. The only reason I come here is for the pancakes, but if they didn't have them, I probably wouldn't come back.

Love this place! The pulled pork is the best in the area and their sauces to put on it are amazing :) Nice, quiet comfortable atmosphere.

I have to say I was not expecting the service and great food that I got. Most of the time with small diner / cafe places you never know what you're going to get... Without hesitation I recommend eating here! The decor was very simple small café style, it was clean and uncluttered. There was no frying smells no nothing lingering in the air it was truly pleasant environment. The staff was all smiles and greeted me nicely and I sat anywhere I wanted to! I ordered a pulled pork omelette for breakfast and it was awesome. While I have used leftovers like this in my own home I have never seen it on the menu before. The food came out so fast I couldn't believe it! I don't even think it took five minutes to come out. And by the way this is no small petite omelette it was massive. It was a great omelette and I highly recommend it. The overall feeling of the place is very local there was a lot of people that came in and knew the servers on a first name basis, sometimes that means if you're an outsider you feel like an outsider but in this case everybody was very welcoming and warm. I will be coming back here and I can't wait to share with friends and family. What a great Thursday morning surprise.

Great food and a very nice atmosphere. Family owned and the food is fine we'll here. Their burgers are amazing (fresh and no filler). Great breakfast foods. Highly recommended if you are looking for a family style restaurant.

Lousy meals! Stay away from their "fresh smoked sausage"! All you'll taste is smoke. Ask for a little onion on potatoes and get a heap of them dumped on. Oh, you get charged more also. My eggs were over done and service sucked! Off my list!

Just had a lovely meal there. We descended on them with 14 people and very little notice. The service was friendly, the food was great (especially the mushroom soup) and the other customers did not mind that there were loud kids in their midst. Seems like a great local place, but very welcoming of newcomers passing through.

The pulled pork was awesome! I had Auntie Erika's Outrageous Grilled Cheese. It had the awesome pulled pork, baked macaroni and cheese and cheddar cheese on thick tasty sour dough bread. It was outstanding. My husband had the Pulled Pork dinner. He liked all three of the barbecue sauces. We will definitely go back. We highly recommend this little diner. The service was fast and our server, Nicole, was very pleasant and attentive.

This morning I went there not knowing that the place changed hands since it was about 16 years since I was there last time. Well I was surprised to have a complete stranger hold the door for me and welcome me to the place. I also was quite inspired by the service which was quick and polite with the usual yes sir efficiency ! I ordered Zack's Pulled Pork Scrambler Omelet and asked for the sourdough toast. Another patron near me said if your toast comes out not quite done its because the toaster is on the fritz. The toast was just fine, as the fellow patron was just pulling my leg as they say around here! Lots of Ample parking on two sides of the place, location is on a state Route and the food is served hot and fresh with a quick turn around speed. Value is above normal with large portions and the price is a great value for the quantity.

This place is awesome! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is always delicious! The service is always friendly and food arrives quickly and hot. The BBQ is some of the best in the area. The prices are fair and you definitely get enough food for the cost. The building is small, so it can get somewhat tight and don't expect to bring a large group of people.
