We've been in Forks for 13 years, and there are a lot of pizza places in the area. With many kids, we try to go where the savings is. Since most of us have gotten sick of Woody's by now, we gave Sals (and others) another try, despite the higher cost. Well, their pizza is far superior, and probably the best in the area, in our opinion. Today we got their chicken parm, because a friend recommended it, and it was amongst the best my wife I have had. Really good sauce, cheese, and breaded chicken. Really good. Kids seem to devour the pizza too. Price for the chicken was not that bad, and it was really a big portion - two breasts, pasta, whole loaf of bread and salad. Never had pickles in a salad before! Definitely enough for two people. Not the salad though. It was small and only iceberg lettuce. Definitely again! AND they are very friendly there!! A bonus these days.

Best Pizza in Easton but maybe my favorite I've ever had. They don't skimp on using quality ingredients which is something that is easy for lots of pizza places to do when you think about the potential profit margin for a pizza. The dining room is big, bathrooms are clean. Service is great its a family owned business.

Called in order for pickup. Arrived at prescribed time and was told order would be ready in 3 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I inquired about my order and it seems order was ready and sitting out getting cold the entire time. When I complained, smart ass counter boy told me It was OK for me to take my business elsewhere. I will.

Good but not great pizza. Sausage was thinly sliced and plentiful. I would have only given three stars, but the owner stayed open 15 minutes late for us to pick up our pizza. He was literally standing in the door, pizza in hand with most of the lights off. Great customer service from a nice family run restaurant.

I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life and this is some of the best. Have been going here for over 15 years and never had a bad pie. The ingredients used are their secret weapon over other area pizza shops. Top notch quality dough, sauce and cheese. And just when you think it couldn't get any better, they put a coupon on each box which earns you a free pie after 12. Nice reward for loyal customers.

My favorite pizza in Forks Township. The sauce is what makes it along with the chewy crust. Great Sicilian and cheese steaks as well. No frills.

Friends placed an order for pickup... large stinky salad with cheap iceberg lettuce. They sent some salad dressing - oil and "furry" vinegar dumped into a USED PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE!! I can't speak for the pizza, but UGH on the hygiene. But I guess no one orders pizza based on hygiene.

Salvatore's Pizza is the best place for Italian food in Forks Twp. My family has been patronizing this family run business for over 20 years. Several other Italian restaurants have opened and closed in that time, but Salvatore's remains an institution in Forks. Joe C personally makes his own sauces, and his lasagna is remarkable. The decor is functional. No one would go there for the atmosphere, but the food is unbeatable. Be sure to ask for table nine.

Consistent delicious pizza with a great sauce. Calzone was perfectly cooked. We've eaten there several times. Try the garlic knots, they are excellent. Their big trays of pasta tend to be generally ovecooked, at least that is my take on the one time we had 3 of them for a party. Sandwhiches are a great choice there too.

I am a Palmer girl so Steve's (now George's) is my pizza place of choice, but Sal's is a good change of pace when I visit my friends in Forks. Delicious fold in half NY style pizza. It is a local pizza joint, so the decor is function over fashion.

A great lunch spot if you don't mind a lack of atmosphere. One of the best chicken cheese steaks in the Valley. They deliver larger orders to local offices at lunch time. Try a piece of their sicilian as well!

I love pizza and this is easily the best in the valley. You can tell the best ingredients are used here so suck eggs Papa John. By the way the cheese steaks are as good as anything in Philly. Not fine dining and not the cheapest pizza in town just the best.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
