Yum ... We were searching for a cake with peanut butter icing for my husbands 40th birthday party and are so very glad we tried it here. The chocolate cake was delicious, tasted almost like devil dog cake. All our guests were asking for glasses of milk with their cake! The peanut butter icing was amazing, not too peanut buttery ! I'm hooked and will never get a Wegmans or giant cake again! Not sure what size our cake was but it fed 20-25 people and only cost $18!!!!! OMG! We also picked up a braided bread and some cookies! The bread was devoured within minutes of arriving home! It was so so yummy, the perfect mix of crusty outside and doughy inside! YUM!

This is the bakery you have been searching for. Ordered a cannoli cake last minute but thankfully my order was graciously received. Parking is a nightmare but take a few deep breaths because what is inside is amazing. Now the cannoli cake is amazing. Hands down the best. As a non-cake lover, I'm obsessed. They have every kind of pastry you can dream of including a nice selection of Italian cookies. Be sure to try their tomato pie. It has to be the best in the area. You won't be disappointed with this bakery!

Believe the hype (mostly)! The place is tiny but they still have a great selection of standard Italian and French bakery items. The tomato pie is great though it's not the same as Trenton tomato pie--this is sauce on dough served cold. IMO it doesn't keep well and should be eaten within a few hours. Most of the donuts and other pastries are excellent. Agree with the other commenter about the napoleons--they tend to dry out fairly quickly so they're hit or miss. Italian bread is average. It's small, cash only, horrendous parking but still worth it.

This place is making me want to me want move to PA... My friend told me about this bakery and said its cheap and good.... Being from NY I can't believe it so I took it amongst myself to see if he was lying. We woke up bright and early, drove to Easton Bakery and once I walked in I felt like a kid in a candy store. The prices of everything in your face so you don't have to guess how much it is.... A small cake that's feeds 5-6 ppl cost $7.99, In NYC that's would cost $15..... A loaf of bread $.95 and $1.00.... I'm sorry at trader joes or whole foods bread is $6 -$8.... I was freaking out, I bought 2 loaf of crispy and sesame bread, 6 pack cinnamon rolls, 1coconut pineapple bun, 2 Cookies, 4 cream filled cupcakes and we spent $10.50.... You couldn't imaging my facial expression.... Got to love that Easton Bakery!

Easton bakery is great! They make the best tomato pie and their pastries are fresh baked. Their sheet cakes and sticky buns are good too. For you dunkin donuts fans, you should try this place. They are better and not as expensive.

I love their doughnuts and they get 5 stars BUT the napoleons are always old . I also like the coconut danish and the poppy seed danish . The sizes are small , but so are the prices for the doughnuts. I did get a cake here a few years ago with canoli cream inside and it was the best cake I had in the last 25 years. The buttercream icing is much better than the chain stores. Just stay away from those napoleons . They are just too old. I hope they take the hint and make less , so they will be fresh ! and not old waiting in the glass case .

My recommendations: Stromboli (the sell out early and its all meat, yum) Doughnuts (my hubby and kids LOVE them) White cake, cannoli fill and whipped cream icing (not available during the hot months) I have been going to this place for years and we have never been disappointed. Parking sucks and they are cash only, but well worth it

Every year I come to Easton for Thanksgiving. I always stop at Easton Baking to get glazed donuts and tomato pie. Never disappoints. Dinner rolls are good too.

Ok I am probably going to get skewered for this - but I am a local and have been hearing about Easton Baking Co for YEARS. Because of this I had high expectations. My husband stopped by and brought home tomato pie and a chocolate cake roll with peanut butter icing. This was my first tomato pie ever, and I have to say I don't get what all the fuss is about. Some sauce on a doughy bottom - just don't get the appeal. The chocolate roll with pb icing was HUGE and very inexpensive for only $3.50. It was very light and didn't taste very chocolatey. The icing had a great peanut butter taste and was very airy. It was fine, but nothing I would get again. I don't know - maybe we just got the wrong things. Reading other reviews it looks like I need to try the cookies. I will give it another shot.

I'm not impressed with the selection. I had a danish that didn't taste any different from one found at shop rite. The fruit filling tasted mass produced and had more filling than fruit. The "Italian cookies" were dry and not buttery tasting.

This area does not have a good bakery, period. This place has been around a long time and you can tell because their items are the same old same old. They aren't bad, they aren't good. They desperately need to reinvent themselves. The only reason people will like this place is because they have never left the pburg / easton area. It's all they know. what a shame.

An Easton institution that has been around for more years than I have. I have moved from my hometown of Easton but still love getting the tomato pie. Even if I am just passing through town while on the east coast I have my mom stop and get me a few slices (or box if I am hungry). They also have delicious baked good. I usually get myself a cookie if one catches my eye when I am in there picking up my tomato pie. My parents even got their wedding cake here way back when. The store front is just a counter with space for the line to wrap around once to accommodate the many patrons and glass cases displaying the goodies, but who needs more. The staff is very friendly and quickly, but still friendly and know many of the patrons by name. Bring cash and make sure to check their hours as I believe they are closed on Mondays and after 12 on Sundays. I also think they close on the early side since they are open so early in the morning.

Great bakery for the quality and price. I've seen people in hoboken lining up like crazy and waiting for hours to get into Carlos' (cake boss on TLC) and always think to myself I'm glad I know of a place with same or better quality of product and way more convenient pricing wise. This place is a must go. I usually overspend in their signature italian cookies that they sell by the pound :)

Best fresh pastries in the area! And so cheap too, I'm always amazed at how low my bill is. Be prepared though, there's no parking and always a line out the door. Always go with 2 people and have 1 wait in the car while the other goes in. To all you Dunkin Donuts people, once you try these pastries you'll never be satisfied with a donut again.

Got my wedding cake there over 30 years ago. Got my Daughters Wedding Cake there too. Have Bought my Childrens and now Grand Childrens Cakes for all occasions and have always been extremely pleased with quality.

This is a quaint 'authentic' italian bakery. They are known for their tomato pies (which contain dairy) and often sell out of them early. They also have delicious baked goods. They're great for vegetarians but do not have many (if any) vegan options.

As far as bakeries go, you can't beat this one for the quality, selection, and the price. My wife eats the donuts by the dozen and we can get enough of the cannoli's. They also have "pizza" or tomato pie as it is called. Think cold pizza with no cheese only a little parm. It is delicious!! We have been known to bring a cooler and fill it with this stuff to take back to KY. Great cakes and cookies as well!!

I run a part time catering company and I buy my rolls and cakes for my clients here. Their pastries are home made and always fresh. They offer allot of choice for cake fillings and icing. Definitely worth it to go here

Any bakery that has a line out the door on any given morning must be fantastic! This little bakery is not in the greatest part of town, but has a steady stream of customers that range from the true Italian to the food lover or just a donut lover. The tiny bakery is family owned and operated for as long has I have been around. I remember my mom and dad ordering my birthday cakes there 25 years ago. My dad would drive down early in the morning to pick up my 1/2 sheet cake that was always marble because I couldn't quite decide on the flavor I wanted. Okay, the menu.... Wow! Pre-ordering is always an option. They cater and do beautiful wedding cakes or a cake for a special occasions. I currently live in Louisville, Ky, and only get to come back home about 4 times a year. Every day that I am in town, I visit the bakery (other than Mon. and Tues. b/c they are closed). My personal selections range from tomato pie (better than my Italian grandmother's), cannolis (as good as my grandmother's, but less work and only about $1.50), donuts, cookies, croissants, cupcakes, sticky buns or pecan rolls, jelly rolls, kiffles, apple dumplings, or a variety of fresh bread. The bakery offers many other selections including pies, cakes, danishes, drop cookies, biscotti, and more. This is the most authentic Italian bakery that I have ever tried. Like the cannolis my grandmother made every Easter, they are not full of cinnamon or pistachios or another spice to cover up the taste. Every time I am home I have to pick up a cannoli, Italian cookies, and tomato pie for my grandmother. When I visit, she expects I'll bring a delicious treat, especially since she doesn't bake or cook too much anymore. Prices are awesome, the customer service is friendly and helpful. You always get a "hey hon" or "make sure to put it in the refrigerator" or "thanks sweety." Most customers have come for so many years that they call them by name and ask about all the family members. If you like desserts, donuts, pastries, or Italian pizza (tomato pie), this is a must EAT!
