In terms of the quality versus other Italian places close by, they have the better of the local places we've tried. Recently, I was required to go gluten free. This is one of the few places close by that provides a gluten free pizza offering. Unfortunately, I won't have many points of reference for future reviews of local Italian restaurants, since other local establishments don't have similar gluten free menus. Previous to my dietary change, I can say that their sandwich menu and specially pizzas are very good. Their appetizers were also not over saturated in the frier, making them crisp and not soggy. They also add some interesting toppings to some of their pizzas that will take you away from the more traditional toppings you are used to. If you order delivery, their delivery times vary and can sometimes be significant. At other times, the delivery time can be reasonable. Their transaction accuracy is hit or miss, so always be clear when you are ordering. Overall, good quality and has options for dietary restrictions that enhances the appeal of their menu.

Reasonably good food for a pizza place, but ridiculously slow. I called at 6pm was told my order would be ready in 25 min. I got there at 6:30 and waited another 15 min for a cheesesteak and fries. With all the pizza joints in forks you'd think they'd be more on their game.

More like thee and a half stars. They have one of the better pizzas in the area. I've been to the restaurant sit in area and aroused 4 times and each time I enjoyed the meal. I found them to be reasonable and good.

They are advertising in a local fund raising coupon book "buy any lunch or dinner entree and get one free' Buyer beware. the first time I went there I ordered 2 cheesesteaks - they turned down the coupon for some reason, really couldn't understand their gibberish. I said that's fine, in that case you can get me...nothing. and walked out. I usually don't write reviews..good or bad...but they pissed me off and I say thank goodness the internet is uncensorable!! The 2nd time...yes I came back...only because a friend bought me a gift certificate. This trip I ordered a veal dish, my son spagetti, my wife a hot sandwich and a couple slices for my other child. 50 minutes later our food came out...we were the only family in there (on a sunday at 6pm). Apparently they don't know the difference between spaghetti and Penne, because we got penne and meatball. The veal was ok, but very stingy on roasted peppers (7 little slices). Now comes time to pay and of course, I had the coupon again. They turned it down again! there reasoning this time...this was only good on 2 'entrees'. I explained that my wife's hot sandwich qualifies as an entree, if, for no other reason, it took 50 minutes to arrive. I fought it a little, but not too much. If they're that dense to think that I won't be pissed off and spread the word, that's their own undoing. I apologize to the waitress. sorry for no tip, but tipping is reserved for good service and your employer doesn't know the meaning. Sicily 2 is much better.

One of the busiest lunch spots in the area. Always lots of groups at lunch time. Their pizza isn't bad and they have decent lunch specials, but there are better places around there for lunch.

I've never had a problem with the food here. If you're into traditional pizza and Italian dishes, they've got em. If you're into pizza experiments, they've got those too! I usually go in there and order food to go so I can't really say for in house service. But I'm a 5 star review all the way. My favorite? Pan pizza. Half chicken Marsala, half chicken bacon ranch.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
