Everything was awful! Sat at a wobbly bar table. No one seemed to have any sense or urgency to greet us. The service was so awful, bizarre actually.. it was almost as if we had to teach them and ask for everything. No one looked happy, no one smiled. Please don't ask me how I'm doing while you're looking down AT YOUR CELLPHONE... I didn't answer your question. And you replied, "That's good." Flatlined staff. Ended up getting our food to go.

Everything you'd expect from a sports bar. This place touts a massive array of flat screen TVs, some in need of repair or replacing, but all have watchable/good video quality. They also have projectors for larger sporting events. Each table has a remote any TV, so the viewer can watch what they choose. Beer selection is good with 18 beers on tap. They have a mix of micro and macro brews, with macro brews outweighing the micro selection on draft. They carry Easton's own Weyerbacher beers. In addition, to beer they have a signature cocktail menu. My girlfriend had the lemon drop martini from their cocktail, which was satisfactory. Food here is mediocre, but what you'd expect at a sports bar where the clientele is looking for something to calm "booze munchies." For an appetizer we had the old bay fries. They are served with a small cup of cheese sauce too small for the order. If you like dipping your fries, be sure to get an extra cup of the cheese. We also had a turkey burger and their cheese steak. The turkey burger was good with mild seasoning. The cheesesteak is typically served with sauce and onions on it here, so be sure to specify (the servers here do a good job of warning you, but just in case). It's a typical bar cheesesteak, nothing to write home about, but hits the spot. Take this place for what it is, a neighborhood sports bar: food is OK, beer is good, and a fantastic place to watch all the sports your heart desires.

Pizza was horrible, drinks were weak, service was mediocre. Probably be good to go drink beer and watch games.

Sat in one time. I guess its more about the sports bar atmosphere. If you have a few beers it will make the food taste better. The beer is delicious. I gave it 2 because the boneless wings were ok.

  • Michelle R.

Awful is all I can say! The wings were somehow bloody AND overcooked! We don't come here like we used to and each time we're hoping it's gotten better...and it's gotten worse. Can't do it anymore! There are places we can go that are better and are half the price! Don't waste your time. If I could give the server 5 stars I would but Woody's is lucky they got 2.

I order out here and it is fine:) Placed an order for delivery, guy showed up with NO CHANGE. Had to give him a 12 buck tip because I had 2 twenties for a 28 tab. Unbelievable. Showed up at 11:30 on a Friday night. They announce last call, shut down TVs in bar and wait for you to leave. The posted hours? Open until 2. Nothing can be done. We are in Forks and it ain't like there is another option really. Stick to carry-out and rock on.

It's a classic sports bar. It's not supposed to be gourmet. Let's face it most of the people that write reviews are they unhappy ones. I go here every Friday night and with rare exception I get great service. A great place to watch college football.

Regular bar food! Nothing special or to brag about. Had some good nachos, wings and drinks! Overall a good experience. Nothing to complain about but nothing to brag about either.

Oh my God! One of the worst places I have eaten in the Lehigh Valley. The menus are greasy and worn out. I felt I had to take a bath after touching them. At least the beer is cold. The waitress doesn't know anything about what's going on. The food is looks like it was throw on the plate by some kid in the back, no pride at all in the presentation. One of my French fries were still frozen inside! I had a burger that was mediocre at the very very best. It shows that the owners of this place don't give a squat about this community. They must think the community members to be a bunch of alley cats that are used to eating garbage. At least the beer was cold!

I'm giving this place 3 stars - I think it deserves some credit for being a good neighborhood bar, where you can get great wings (very crispy, served piping hot), good greasy food, and a good drink, in a loud (but not too loud, like Buffalo Wild Wings) sports-bar atmosphere. Don't expect much more than that, but it serves a purpose and if you are in a good mood I think you'll be happy.

Not sure why the ratings are so low from other people. This bar has great deals on pitchers of beer, you can order their pizza by slice. I enjoy this place to meet up with friends over a drink. I don't eat meat so the menu is pretty limited for me.

  • Paul B.

Crappy food, poor service, lousy atmosphere. The pizza is generic, the beer is overpriced, and the overall feel is trashy. However, the big screen sporting event options are nice.

I hadn't been here in awhile & now I know why. I sat at bar & it took a bit longer than expected to get noticed to be served a beer. While the staff of females are mostly pretty good looking, the need to know how to get a beer in a timely fashion. The beer selection is good. The wings are shyte. And this place is supposed to be known for their wings? Are U fcuking kidding me - terrible, tiny wings that were somewhat cold. Keystone Pub's wings are about 4 times the size. I would say, if U must go there, eat first. One star for Dogfish Head IPA on tap

Good place to grab some food, some beers, and watch the games/ufc. I was back home and my friend and I wanted to watch the UFC fight. Ended up driving here from NJ and it was totally worth it. The service was on point, the prices were perfect, and the food wasn't bad at all. I just ordered pizza and it wasn't that bad. There are several options. My friend ordered a personal stromboli and holy crap was thing massive. Definitely worth it for the money. I can't imagine what the big would be like. What was also good is the yanks were on during playoffs and the alternated the TVs between UFC and the playoffs. The only downfall of this place is the TVs though. Some were in some shotty shape(grainy resolution) and the ones over the bar weren't that big. I rather have 3 40" tvs over the bar than 6 20" TVs

I have ordered food for delivery from them many times. Can't tell you how many times they have screwed up the order. When they have come to my home, they have forgotten some of my order. I called them to tell them the problem, they asked me to drive the food back or come in and pick up the rest of my order. They have good food but have problems listening to how I want it made.

Staff and service were good. Food was good to bad. We had wings which were tasty and meaty, a burger which was plain and lacked seasoning and garlic knots that barely tasted like garlic. The most disturbing thing here is the remote controls for the individual TVs. Picture someone eating messy wings and using the remote control daily. Then pass that remote to a new customer. Sticky, completely gross and the duct tape holding it together was no help. Need to be replaced or bathed in bleach.

Wish I could say something nice, the place is way too Loud, the food is horrible, the wait staff is slow and rude. I just thought of something nice to say the parking is good.

This is a great place in the Easton area to eat and drink. The staff is amazing and attentive. The bo-go chicken sandwiches are on the money! Wings, fried Mac n cheese, and beer. Win, win, win!

Two stars because its the only sports bar in town. FOOD IS HORRIFIC!! I have eaten there on numerous occasions and tried many things. The only thing that wasnt gross was the chef salad. Stay away from the nachos, wings, pizza, gross. However, the booth tables have their own tv and thats great for watching sports.

I love big Woody's. I come here with my family every Friday. We love the pizza especially the ziti pizza they make special for me. The cheese steak wrap is the best. Taco pizza is Yum.

I went last night to watch UFC 155. Got there at 10:07pm. Great it was on and we were seated in a booth with our own screen to watch the UFC. Ordered our drinks and food. Not 10 minutes later the fight went off. One of the lame managers said it was a problem with the satellite because of the weather. But all the other channels were working fine, and it never said looking for signal. I have had satellite before and know all about it. Obviously he was just making a lame excuse. BIG LET DOWN!! Myself as well as half the place left angry. Oh we'll I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the rest of UFC. BTW the pizza was horrible.

I'll be kind and say that you don't come here for the food. Good spot if you want to drink beer and watch games, but don't come expecting a good meal as the food low-quality chain fare at best.

Dining Date April 25, 2015 for lunch. Food has gotten a lot better since the last time I was at Woody' s. Good wings and cheese steaks. Excellent beer list with good craft beers. Prices and service were both good.

When you get wings delivered and don't receive any dipping sauce.. The only word that comes to mind is disgraceful.

No Hi-Def Television. Really dumb choice and totally unacceptable! Oh there are flat screen TV's hanging all around but they are fed by a standard Def (old school) signal. Are you kidding me Big Woody? That was shocking to me and my buddies. Why in 2015 would I leave the Hi-Def flat screen at my own place to come watch TV from the 1980s at your place?? What a terrible (and cheap) decision by ownership. Apparently we weren't the only ones that have asked. I heard a few chuckles from other patrons at the bar when we asked them to "please switch our game to the Hi-Def channel." Get with the program... you are a Sports Bar. People go there to watch games... In Hi-Definition. If you won't provide Hi-Def - then there are plenty of other sports bars that will. How stupid and behind the times can ownership be? Not a smart place to pinch your pennies. Fix it before you lose more customers. That advice is free... it should be common sense. I was with 6 other people and none of us will be back to watch a game without Hi-Def.

I like going here BUT...........Poor management will doom this place, but then again there aren't many options and that's the only reason this place is still open. The waitstaff is always clueless about the beer menu and cocktail selections. The place feels disorganized and unwelcoming. The food is as expected, just good enough, but again the service kills the experience. I'm rooting for you Big Woody's but you always let me down.

This place use to rock it. That was when they had bartenders who would engage you in conversation and work you for tips. These new girls watch the TV's and are non attentive to every patron at the bar. Boo Boo Boo. It was 5/5 before the sinkhole.

The food is decent here, particularly the pizza. Unfortunately, the service is bad to nonexistent. When last there with my kids the waitress was MIA, the food very late. When I went to find the waitress she was standing by the drink fountain texting. Complained to manager who got our food out and was very apologetic, but didn't offer any coupons or compensation for a rotten time. The beer selection is fair, but the bartenders are clueless as to how to pour, the glasses warm and full of condensation as they dry stacked up. Most of the staff had pretty nice bodies, however, which seems to please their target audience swillers. Whatever. Many better places to spend my money.

I have had a few more experiences since my first review. On the first visit, the chicken wings were tasty on the outside but dangerously red on the inside. On my most recent visit, the wings were so overcooked as to be flavorless. To their credit, my son was satisfied with their pizza, even if the adult food was not up to par.

Quite possibly the worst "bar food" you will ever waste your money on. Pizza tastes funny, wings are soggy...staff is immature and slutty. Blah, if you just wanna drink, there are plenty of other far less cheezy establishments around town.

I went there with my 12yr old son to watch the Jets-Seahawks game. The bar was busy. The hostess greeted and sat us in a booth.. which had our own tv..prob about a 19inch. First, the place has a ridiculous amount of tv's all which seemed not to be HD or even clear. The HUGE tv's were very cloudy and unclear.. I guess we (I) are all spoiled by HDTV's but if your gonna be a sports bar, there really isnt anything more important than big, clear tv's.. except maybe wings and beer. Our server was nice however seemed very busy..even tho she had about 4 - 5 tables. We ordered the boneless wings in buffalo and got there hot&spicy sauce..which was good but not what we ordered. I then ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and was served 2 slices of pizza with no toppings. The food was good, not great but the lack of attention to detail spoiled it for me. To give it a 3-star would mean its "aok" but its not. However, it is a high 2 star because the food was good and the service was timely.. however inaccurate. I would go there again.. but mostly because the Easton area really lacks a good sports bar.

I've been to Big Woody's a number of times, but sadly the poor place is temporarily closed due to those damn sink holes. And during football season too!! Big Woody's isn't a 5 star restaurant, it's a sports bar so you have to expect that when you come here. The food's not wonderful, but not horrible either. To me, this is the perfect place to come for beers and a couple appetizers when you want to watch a game. We tend to like the boneless buffalo wings and the regular bone-in wings with old bay seasoning are good too. I actually really like the turkey burger with swiss, green peppers and mushrooms -- it's actual real ground turkey meat, not some crappy frozen burger. They usually have a few domestic beers on tap and will sometimes have good drink specials. The staff is okay, most of the waitresses are college-age kids, and many seem pretty disinterested. The pizzas are okay. They have a lot of space inside and there are a few arcade games and a ton of tv screens, also the booths have their own small TVs where you can decide what to watch. All in all, not a bad place for a sports bar.

I have been to all of the location's that Woody's has this is by far the nicest and newest location however the pizza is the worst quality. I have seen consistent flavor and taste from all locations except this one, everything from the crust to the cheese was off, and not just 1 times I tried this location several times before giving up and finding that this location was just very poor.

I don't typically come here to eat. This is more of a place to grab some beers and watch the game for me. However, I have gotten wings and lots of other appetizers and even some sandwiches here and I gotta say they were pretty good. Overall friendly staff. Great place to come to watch a game or grab some food.

I am a huge SF Giant's fan and I came to NJ to house sit when the Giant's were in first place and close to winning the National League West. I found Woody's from another sports bar in PA and they told me that Woody's had Direct TV and that the food was good. I was very happy to find the manager and waitress were excellent at helping me find my game and it was at a TV at my own private booth. This is Sprots Fan nirvana so thank you Rochelle and I think the manager was TOM.. but I do remember Rochelle because she waited on me twice and the second game was long (the winning the NLW and the post game) and she was very nice and patient. I will come back here again because the place is clean, service is good, food was great (I had ribs the first time, BBQ chicken salad second time and Bacon Cheeseburger third time.) I loved this place and I wish Woody would open one up in the SF Bay area.. totally fun. Sorry the Eagles lost on Sunday but I was whoooping it up when my Giants won the NLW and everyone high 5'd me. Totally happy!! GO GIANTS!
