I think this restaurant is hit or miss. I like the baked ziti with meat, garlic bread and pizza. I ate with a few others and their food was great, mine wasn't warm, then they tried to get me with a charge for reheating my food! The waiter was very sweet and kind, some of the other workers aren't very pleasant. It is a bit pricey, I am glad they deliver though.

Second time i have eaten here, the food is consistently good, and is served real Italian style. The service was very good too. Plus the atmosphere is nice.

Have eaten here a bunch of times and always enjoyed myself. They seem to be rolling in a grove right now cause the last few times I've eaten there pretty much everything was on point. The manager April and bartender are super sweet girls and Jon was very polite, courteous, and helpful with my little girls, my wife, and I. This past time we went, on a Tuesday, they were pretty packed, and by the looks of it they had a pretty small staff on. Even with the small staff they handled a full bar and pretty much and full dining room and patio with seemingly no problems. Great food and awesome atmosphere with the new bar (get some Titos and Hendricks) and a million beers on tap. Will be back again and again for sure! Love their pizza too! It's the only pizza my girls will eat. The young gentleman who makes the pizza there on the weekends makes them perrrrfect. Looking forward to eating there again with the family. Thanks!

This is strictly for their delivery services: Rolled up rang doorbell twice the second time was legit 5 seconds after the first time the I heard you the first time. And from the point on there were two people a girl awkwardly standing not saying anything and the guy hands full with food. I took the food and gave him $70 and asked for a $5 back he said he had no change so he went to his car. He came back and said again he had no change all while the girl still without saying a word stood there and I had to scrounge for some change. Due to the fact he said he had no change I decided to give him some and he didn't grasp the concept. Kept saying he was sorry to the point it got too repetitive and meaningless. Now onto the food. Meh. Feels like they drown everything in sauce to mask the fact that there isn't any flavor and not much food. Very unimpressed for the price I paid.

We were given a gift certificate for this restaurant. Even even though we are locals it was our first time here and to be perfectly honest - it wasn't a good experience. I see that on the reveiw before that this is owned by the same family that owns Capri Pizza not too far away. I would have never guessed it, whoever is running this place should spend some time at Capri to learn a thing or two about running a restaurant. Just because you are in Doylestown, charging outrageous prices for pasta, you still need to care about your patrons. We arrived about 6:30 pm Friday May 8th. When we walked in we were surprised that the place was pretty empty - just one couple at the bar. We decided to sit outside and there was another couple out there too. A total of 6, including us but the service was awful. We were seated right away but it was at least 10 minutes before anyone came out to take a drink order. When we asked about ordering pizza, we were told that we would have to move to the bar since they don't serve it in the dining room (even though we were on the patio in plastic rubber maid chairs) We decided not to move and ended up spliting a seafood pizza. It was ok, the crust was really soggy but the seafood was good. When we went to pay, the server gave us an attitude because evidently somewhere on the menu it states that you have to present all discounts and membership cards PRIOR to ordering (they also do not take credit cards if you use promotional coupons and cards) Since I do not consider gift certificates a coupon, I didn't think I needed to mention it. So then I am thinking, so what if we DID mention it - would we have gotten less seafood on our pizza or less alcohol in our drinks? I am not sure why they were making such a stink about it but they accepted, we paid the difference and left. We noticed as we were leaving the that reason their service was so bad is because the waiters and waitresses were too busy talking about the band coming in and how cool it was going to be than to bring customers drinks and napkins for soggy pizza. Needless to say, we won't be back. You have been forwarned....

I like their pizza. Like the new bar, and the happy hour special on Monday is a deal. However, if you're reading this villa, you've got to train the tall thin waiter gentleman on safe food handling and overall restaurant server cleanliness. Notepad stored in his pants/underwear/sweaty lower back is enough. Smoking and not washing your hands after is bad. Touching your hair and forehead and then immediately touching the non paper wrapped straws is really bad. Tough love.

Still not impressed. Had a terrible experience years ago with the service. And tonight after $50.00 worth of food I came home with 2 soggy under cooked pizza and cheese fries with not much cheese and completely soggy too. YUCK. SO glad I waste my hard earn money on this crap.

Came here with a few friends of mine. The server shawna was the worst server I have experienced in a while. Growing up/working in the restaurant industry I know what good service should be, she does not display it. This was my first time at villa Capri, and I was appalled at the way she treated us. We sat at a table and ordered some apps. The hostess came over after an hour of us sitting and told us we had to get up because people were coming in to sit there. We explained we had more food coming and she said "oh I'm sorry okay!" and walked away. Then shawna came over and started setting the table as we were sitting there and told us to get up. My friend explained we were told it was okay to sit there and she was not apologetic at all and basically wanted us to stand and eat. Then she told is it was "too bad." As we were at the bar she put her straw in our beer as well. She was so rude and I would never go back there and be treated like the dog she treated us as. If that is a representation of the staff they hire I question the food they put out.

Horrible! We won't be back. We had a reservation yet when we arrived there was a birthday party going on that took over the entire dining room except our small table. We were forced to be a part of a party that we were not invited to and had never met,There were speeches, etc that we were forced to listen to and not even able to talk and enjoy our dinner. We let the server know and all he said was "sorry". This restaurant does not know the first thing about pleasing their customers. It was all about the large party and and they could have cared less about us. They should never have taken our reservation. We should have been told they were booked. We will not be back!

I've been to villa Capri several times over the last few years and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious and I feel fairly priced. My favorites are chicken Joseph and the cabanara but friends also rave about their lasagne, penne vodka and more.

Many thanks to Matt and the gang for hosting my class's High School reunion at Villa Capri. We basically took the place over with about 65 people in attendance for light apps (Calamari, bruscetta, "Brooklyn" pies, salad and mini cannoli). We all had a great time and the bar was well run.

Very disappointing. How do you screw up linguine and white clam sauce? I dunno, but it was awful. Broth very watery and bland, saw no seasonings in it. Lifeless. Caesar salad advertised, but you have to pay extra for anchovy. Excuse me, but doesn't caesar mean anchovy, like a tuna sandwich means bread, too? The Mussels Fra Diavlo my friend ordered looked awful when they brought it out, and he said it was. I saw a bunch of young kids in the kitchen when I walked in, but it was pretty plain they don't get much supervision. Should have known to stay out. For a Friday night on a beautiful evening in Doylestown, and an empty restaurant at 7 pm, I should have stayed away. On the plus side, service was good, our waitress was trying very hard to keep us from leaving upset, very nice girl.
