Not a bad little family tavern! They don't have a great beer selection, but they have Guinness as a standby at least. I was told the medium wings were "like other places 'hot' wings" so being a first timer there I went with medium. Turns out their medium is like anywhere else's kids wings. They were out of two things on the menu that we wanted, which is disconcerting, but the suggested substitutes were good ones. It's not over-the-top awesome food, but it's not priced that way either, and the service was very good. We'll be back.

4 star pub but 5 stars because it's in Dtown near my house. Wings, burgers, steak salad and kids selections are spot on and the beers are cold and change. The specials are excellent and the have some great live music on weekends. Great local bar with better than average pub grub.

Food was Ok. If a dive is your thing, this place is for you! Very old inside and not clean. I have lived in Doylestown for 30 years, and have never been there until today. Now I know why I have never been. I am not a "dive" fan, so not my type of joint.

Food was terrible prepare with imodium. The dishes don't even match what is written on the menu. Save your money there are lots of other choices in Doylestown

Really surprised about this place! My mom and I were very hungry and pulled into the closest place possible to eat in. We first thought we made a mistake because it just seemed like a pub which we figured that the food wouldn't be better than your average bar food. Yet, we sat down outside anyway due to already about to eat anything that was consumable. We met a friendly waitress who gave us our drinks and had some small talk. My mom ordered the fried mushroom which were very good! They were extremely hot in the middle, like an ooey gooey hot ball that would burn the skin right off your tongue! For our meal my mom got a cheese quesadilla while I got a Texas burger without the bun. We were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! My mom was enjoying every bite while I was just in awe by how good the burger was! The meat was tender and very tasty! My tastebuds were definitely not complaining at all! The fries were all hand cut!! Very surprised!!! We were constantly checked up on by another guy (I do not recall his name) who was extremely kind and helpful! This is definitely a hidden gem and lives by the motto "do not judge a book by it's cover"! We'll be back!

Farmhouse is a mid-sized tavern in Doylestown with an indoor and outdoor patio for seating. To begin with, I was a little surprised when I walked in because no one came to seat me nor did it say "seat yourself." Eventually my friend asked the bartender and she told her it was seat yourself. When we got seated it took about 10 minutes before ANYONE approached us about drinks, etc. That made me a little upset but once we did get our server he was very nice. The menu had lots of different options from salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I ended up ordering a grilled chicken sandwich and my friend got a burger. My sandwich was okay, it lacked any flavoring and the chicken was a little chewy. On the other hand, my friend LOVED his burger, he said "best burger I've ever had." I'd recommend going here but expect the bar setting.

They fixed it up but it's still the same. The food is from the 1970s. Good beer selection. This could be a great place with so little effort. I wish they would try.

Great causal spot for sandwiches, salad and soup, burgers and cheese steaks. Nice beer selection too. Daily special are very interesting and usually very good. The reason we go back often is bc of the food, of course, but also the great staff who are very pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Service with a smile must be their motto! The atmosphere is a bit rustic bc the building is very old but that is part of the charm One word of caution is that this building is not handicap friendly.

I've eaten here several times. Yummy, made from scratch burgers, interesting specials, and my go to is the steak Caesar salad. I love the creamy dressing and cooked to order steak medallions they use (no thin cheesesteak meat for salads here).

Habanero wings w/ blue cheese chunks the size of quarters! Filet cheese steak awesome as well. Chunks of filet not just shaved. Fun local pub with great food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This is a great little place in Doylestown, easily overlooked. We love the Apple Walnut Chicken salad. They add just the right amount of Gorgonzola cheese! The dressing is amazing. Their Quesadillas are absolutely wonderful - just like I would make em at home. Cheesteaks are good. The burgers are good. The fries are real fries, not like some of these other places that have those new quasi-fries. I really do like this place. They are friendly, quick and the prices reasonable. I am a fan. Go figure.

The Farmhouse is a place that I almost forget is in Doylestown... outside of the hustle and bustle of Main Street... it sits on the corner, between the great strip malls and the main area. The restaurant is small.. a 15 seat bar, and about six tables, plus some outdoor seating. Beer selection is standard.. Guinness and Anchor Steam being the most exciting on tap. Food is good quality, with some nice variations on traditional items. I most likely get a burger here. Their signature burger the farmhouse burger includes an onion marmalade along with the cheese and a very good brioche bun. And rather than the usual fries, you get home made sweet potato chips.. a pleasant alternative. Specials are good to watch out for.. half price cheesesteaks on Tuesdays and all you can eat pasta on Thursdays, along with half priced entrees on Sundays. Definitely can get crowded at happy hour. All in all a nice place in Doylestown.. a cut above the ordinary.

The Farm house has above average bar food with decent specials, reasonable prices.and they always rotate taps with a mix of local and mainstream beers. Farm house is a friendly neighborhood Irish pub...give it a shot.

Someone in our party ordered the fried shrimp - something I never order because outside of a shore restaurant, they're usually a disappointment. Well, I turned out to be the disappointed one, because they were delicious! Felt like I should be catching whiffs of sea breezes, they were so good. My burger was very good & my husband rhapsodized over his spinach salad plus shrimp, but the fried shrimp - oh my! Looking forward to our next visit!

Great food and service! Went for a birthday celebration and had a great time. We had appetizers and meals all of which were amazing. The Reuban sandwiches were the best we've had in a while.

Ah, the ye olde Farm House Tavern - where (back - way back - in the day) one could get served alcohol underage. Alas, those no-carding days are long over. But the farmhouse seres decent bar food (it is by no means a gastro pub, and the regulars like it that way). I preferred it here to Finney's back in the day - and often got a nice sandwich and fries to go with my beers or vodka-cranberry. A good, old-time bar-lover's bar.

Great food and I am a wonderful cook so I can judge.. Their salads are amazing and the Monte Christo sandwich is made with toasted coconut french toast homebaked turkey and ham, a grilled fresh pineapple slice and maple syrup on the side. Wednesday half priced blackboard specials are excellent. Vegetables are alway's al dente, and the deserts are great. Beer is $3.50 or imported at $6.00. The wait staff have a great attitude. The dining room is nice. Portions are large. The food is cooked just right and I always get what I ask for. Wonderful menu selection You can substitute within reason. Best value in the Doylestown area. UPDATE 5/23/2012. New owner. Monte Cristo is gone. Rice is Salty. Meatloaf is Salty. Avoid The band on Sat.. Music is too loud. Good food overall. Local crowd. Wednesday specials are still good. Good local place Three and a half stars.

I have been to the Farmhouse many times over the years. I like the cold roast beef sandwich the best with fries. Burgers a good and so are the wings. This is a bar. The TV's are small. The bar is small. Recommend the Farm House.

God, the good old days. Graduated from DVC in '65 and it was a Thursday night ritual to go to the Farmhouse for a Taylor Pork Roll Sandwich with cheese, fries, and a cold beer, the pickle was pretty good too. As an AF retired pilot I have been to many pubs and this has to be one of the best. Merv Horner mhorner02@comcast.net

Been going here for years, almost weekly, for lunch and never had a single complaint. You can always find something you're in the mood for, from healthy to "bring my my cholesterol meds now." They rotate the beers through; there's always something good to try. And there's a daily beer special that is always something good for a beer geek. Bar staff is friendly, and the crowd is congenial. A local favorite. The clams casino soup is excellent, as are the salads and cheese-steaks, chicken and otherwise. Easy parking.

The Farm House is great to meet friends any night of the week or bring the kids for a great reasonably priced dinner. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they really make you feel at home. The food selection is great as well as the beer selection. It is worth the 20 min. drive! I consider it Doylestowns little gem!

I came for the wings, but stayed for the 1/2 price cheesesteak, and it was a really good cheesesteak too! The wings on the other hand, while the "insane" sauce was very tasty, the wings were tiny. $5.50 for a pint of Victory Headwaters pale ale is a bit ridiculous too. My wife had a crabcake sandwich - decent for a bar; but $6 for a tiny shot of house wine is poor.

Was here on a Friday nigh and had a fun time. Had a live band which was ok, they play old Irish music which could have been a little bit more up tempo. The place itself defiantly shows it age, but I enjoy places like that because they have character to me. The beer was cheap which my wallet enjoys and I do too because I get to drink more of it! Their menu looked good offering some traditional Irish pub food, but i did not order anything here as I came here after dinner. There is always next time!
