While staying in my boyfriend's hometown, we stayed at the Hargrave House for a night. It's a cute, historical building that was basically everything you'd expect from a bed and breakfast. We stayed in the purple room, which was upstairs and had a huge jacuzzi tub, which was probably the highlight of this room. Despite being on the main street, it was very quiet, so no complaints there. The breakfast was good, but nothing to write home about.

The woman in the front welcomed us very well. The Doylestown room is nice. The Jacuzzi took a little while to warm up, but the wait was worth it. This house is right next to a lot of great restaurants and the Mercer Museum (all walking distance).

Quaint bed and breakfast in the heart of Doylestown. Really convenient location; on the same block as many bars, shops, and restaurants. The room was nice- very comfortable bed; clean and large with a private jacuzzi tub. The home overall smelled a little moldy but it is a 200 year old house... The inn keeper was nice but pushy and made a big deal out of issues like arrival times, breakfast schedules, etc. very formal and professional. Prices were comparable to other b&bs ... We would return again and recommend to others if your looking for a pricey retreat from the city.

I had a great time. I enjoy the innkeeper and all of her stories. The breakfast was great. I can't think of a better place to stay. I can't wait to make another trip back east just to stay there.

This place was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! the rooms were beautifully decorated-ours had a hottub in the room! and the inn keeper was exceptionally pleasant; she greeted us in the morning with coffee in hand, and simply asked what she could make us for breakfast. i highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
