I was in Dalton on business and chose this place based on yelp reviews. I am sooooo glad I did. My son is the worlds pickiest eater and he went wild (and so did i) for the garlic knots. Better that any I have ever had. The original pizza - AMAZING! Everyone in our party was oooing and ahhhing about the sauce. IT WAS THAT GOOD. I really wish there was a Newsies by my house. :( The staff - A++ for friendliness. Bathroom was super clean too. Be forewarned - It has a very small seating area. But who cares --- that food is "DA BOMB"!

I ordered the veggie pizza and it was a soggy mess.i guess thats what happens when you hire a bunch of high school kids who rather be on their phones instead of a real pizza maker.i can goto Wal-Mart and pick up a take and bake pizza for half the cost and better quality.

I loved Newsies! The garlic knots have so much flavor and the pizza is awesome! Great job newsies!!! I live not far away, so that's good. But, I wish that they delivered.

I consider this the best pizza in our area. The crust is always crisp, lots of cheese and a nice sauce, just enough, not too sparse and not overloaded.

Fabulous specialty pizzas, highly recommend the Veggie Lover's and Fresh Tomato Basil pizzas. Their wings... not so much.

I couldn't disagree with the previous reviewer more. Every time I've ordered food from newsies (pizza, calzones, sandwiches) it's been amazing. I love that they use really fresh ingredients. The crusts are always crispy (I think they use some kind of brick oven or something so you never end up with soggy, flimsy crusts). Their salads are also really great. I've ordered out and ate their several times and never had a problem. The people who work there are SUPER NICE. One time I accidentally called in an order as they were closing and they still stayed open an extra 20 minutes just to accommodate me (and did so with smiles on their faces!). I feel very good supporting such a great local business, especially with food so good. Perhaps the previous reviewer is used to pan pizza that doesn't have a delightful crispness to it, so the only advice I can say is try this place yourself before making a decision. One suggestion to the owners--fix your website so we can view the menu (it doesn't work).

Pizza is the best I've had. .especially the white pizza. Havn't had their other foods yet but I hear they're good too. The staff is friendly, courteous and happy. Can't wait til they open they're second location in Tunkhannock.

Walked out of another restaurant and ended up at Newzies Pizza. We has a great White Pizza and the toasted pesto chichen hogie. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Regarding the new Tunkhannock location: My boyfriend called 4 times around 7:30 and no. one. answered. Discouraging. Walked inside the place and was told it would take 30 minutes for a pie.... Walked out. I really wanted to give it a try. I went to our usual pizza spot which was crowded with diners and takeout orders and only had a 20 minute wait.
