When I worked in KOP, I ate at the Panera there for lunch at least once a week. I'm not sure if that location is exemplary, but that is my basis for comparison. I stopped into the Conshy Panera yesterday and it was quite a frustrating experience. My main problem was my sandwich. (a bacon turkey bravo). You'd think the sandwich was strewn together by a chimpanzee in 2 seconds based on it's appearance. And there was about half as much meat as I'm used to getting at the KOP location. Annoyed, I took it up to the manager (something I never do) to basically ask "WTF is this?" The manager didn't really seem to care about the problem, although she did have more meat put on my sandwich. Unfortunately, it was again strewn between the bread with complete disregard necessitating me to reconstruct the sandwich evenly. Perhaps teach the 15 year old employees there how to actually make a sandwich because if I wanted to put a sandwich (back) together, I would have just made it at home.

Given that Panera Bread food is fairly standardized across its many franchises, I don't want this comment or rating to pertain to the menu selection so much as the overall ambience of the restaurant. This is one of my favorite places to work because it's spacious, has lots of natural light, offers free wifi, and has great spots for those who like both warmer (fireplace area) and cooler (lots of window seating) work environments. The staff are usually quite friendly and attentive, which makes for a great experience all-around. All the spaces are kept clean (bathrooms included), and the smooth jazz that permeates the cafe nicely rounds off the experience.

I'm a fan of Panera. In my youth I laughed at those who went to place like this or Atlanta Bread Company, but I have to admit, their pretty darn good. Sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked goods. I dare you to not find something you'll like here. Sandwiches are my favorite. The fresh bread really helps. All the pastries look and taste great too. Not saying I'd come here for dinner, but if my wife and I are out and about around lunch time I'm not afraid to go ahead and suggest Panera. If you haven't been to one, give this one a try.

I'm kind of surprised that the reviews for this Panera are on the low side. I've always had good experiences here. Sure, it can get a little crowded. Yes, there can be legions of toddlers storming the counter sometimes. Indeed, it's a chain. But, for breakfast at least, they have a great selection of tasty baked goods (I love the cinnamon bagel), and they actually have an excellent flavored coffee in their hazelnut coffee (and I usually don't like flavored coffee). I've never thought that the service was anything less than pleasant. It's a good place to get some work done, too. There are some comfortable couches and free wifi. There are those times when you just need a change of venue to getting some writing done, and Panera offers a convenient place to do so.

Service here is an atrocity. And good luck getting a souffle on the weekends during brunch hours. The seating is also not as nice as that in other locations.

Visited: Saturday - May 9, 2015 - 1 PM I assumed my place in line but, quickly realized that breakfast items were primarily sold. I re-assumed my place in the "lunch" line. I began reading the overhead lunch menu when an employee invited me to the "breakfast" line. I had indicated to the employee that I didn't have a chance to fully review the lunch menu and asked for assistance. I indicated that I'd like the soup and sandwich combo. She quickly read my options from an electronic read out not visible to customers. She verbalized far too quickly and I requested a slower version. She acquiesced. I ordered a cup lemon chicken orzo soup, a ham sandwich with Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato, coffee, and an apple. When picking up the lunch, I announced to the manager that I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The manager recognized the joke and said while smiling, " sorry we're fresh out". I easily found a table by a window and enjoyed my lunch. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notable: 1. A shopper walked directly in front of my moving car without looking. She made no attempts to gage vehicular traffic and was unaware of my presence. 2. A shopper was wearing a leg brace which forced a slow, deliberate walk but her texting continued. She was unfazed by moving cars. 3. One male driver reversed his car to exit his parking spot. He did not realize that he nearly hit two women. He finally acknowledged his error but made no attempt to apologize and in fact, did not seem to care.

Lots of seating, reliable wifi and food is usually prepared well. Also, they usually have a selection of free newspapers. Most Paneras make you pay a few dollars. They handle a crowd pretty well when it's busy. I'm a fan.

MICE!!! This Panera has Mice, I saw one crawling INTO the booth. Kinda gross, but what is worse was the reaction when I told the management. (they did nothing, didn't respond in anyway when I emailed them). Its been 2 weeks now. Even before the mice I have eaten here about 6 or 7 times and as far as Panera goes its sub par. Panera Mac and Cheese normally would be considered food of the gods, but this is barely fit for human consumption I quit ordering it after the 4th time (It was congealed and sticky). To sum it up, this Panera is Dirty, and taste bad.

I review a lot of coffee shops, a lot of sweets and bakery shops, and sandwich nooks; trendy, underground, popular. I looked at this more from a coffee shop perspective, since at the time I needed to use my laptop. With this location I have to admit, Panera has it right. The reason is environment. Some coffee shops are way too hipster-modern (La Colombe) and 90% of the rest are heavily dreary. This Panera has a fire place in a semi private room and on the flip, the main room feels open and fresh, with at least 8 big windows due to a corner location. This is something you would expect in most coffee shops but don't ever get. The food can be very healthy, and yes the coffee isn't that great, but it does the job if your here for relax, to work on your laptop, or too eat sweet treats. If Panera would get a higher quality brew, a drive through, or better sweats then this location would earn 5 stars. If you visit, just make sure to get that coffee as fresh as possible. Parking is wonderful here by the way, and as far as service, the manager Erika was peppy, nice, to the point, and helpful. Keep up the good work everyone!

I usually like to have lunch at Panera Bread but this location, I was very disappointed with the service. Fuji Apple Salad was only half full with not very fresh lettuce and I can see that they did not put an effort to serve. The Lemon grass soup was watered down to very plane taste. Very much disappointed.

With unlimited budget of time and cash I can go anywhere but I got lazy and went to Panera. This is a go to chain for us travelers since the baked goods blow lesser chains like Dunkin Donuts away. With the decent food you can get here the coffee is definitely lacking. The shopping center where this place is located has a Starbucks on the opposite end. I'm not that nutty to score my Asiago bagel egg sandwich and hike to Starbucks for a decent cup of java. The place has plenty of room plenty of parking and plenty of fast friendly counter help. Thank you Panera for raising the bar of fast food.

I went to this location last night after a babysitting job. I arrived at 8:45 pm, and felt like a total jerk for showing up 15 mins before closing. The manager was at the register (I think his name was Seth), and I asked if it was okay to order. I told them to be honest, because I didn't want them doing a ton of work just for me. He was fantastic and told me it was quite all right. He was also kind enough to make sure I had enough bread for my delicious squash soup. My soup was great, and so was my baguette! Thanks for being awesome, Seth. Big thanks to the guys on the prep line too :D

This Panera location is pretty typical-- serves the normal Panera sandwiches, soups, and salads in the usual way. There wasn't anything particularly different about this location than others that have visited. However, they had the lunch rush down to a T and I was in and out in under fifteen minutes, so big plus there!

I'm a big fan of Panera Bread. There menu is great because I think the portions for the you pick two deals are perfect. I usually get the salad and soup combo- Greek Salad and Black Pea Soup. That is my fav. thing to get. Their bread served with the meal is always fresh. This place is very inconsistent with their sandwiches. I have had some really great salads and soups but with their sandwiches they are not always the same. The last time I ordered a turkey sandwich the meat was really slimy which i would never expect to see there. Service is pretty fast but be sure to go before 1230 to beat most of the crowds during the week for lunch.

I know it's a chain, so I'll try to be nice... Here is a classic example of where poor service completely spoils the enjoyment of good food. First off, I love love love their souffles. However, their selection is almost completely depleted by 10:00. And (some of) the people who work here are crazy rude. Case in point: asked for a toasted pecan roll. The cashiers response? "We have a microwave." Otherwise a nice addition to an otherwise unassuming strip mall in suburbia.

What the hell... I've been a Panera supporter for a good portion of my 29 years here on Earth, but I made a massive mistake by suggesting Sunday breakfast here today. I strayed from my usual Asian Sesame chicken salad and went with the seemingly healthy egg white, spinach, and avocado sandwich. My boyfriend was hoping to get a Pick Two, but apparently the pre-made soups they heat up weren't available yet, so he ordered a plain old turkey sandwich. After we got our sodas and found a seat, we decided our impending sandwiches weren't enough, so we went back to the counter to order their new ham and cheese soufflé which they are promoting the hell out of. Unfortunately, they ran out?! They finally called our name as the pick-up line started to back up and when I sat down to eat, I could not have been more disappointed. After two bites, I realized a crucial element of my sandwich was missing... the avocado. I checked like five times to make sure it wasn't a skimpy slice hiding under the egg white or camouflaged amongst the spinach. Nope, nowhere to be found. I brought my sandwich back up to the counter and was rudely greeted when I said my avocado was missing. Best case scenario, they make me a whole new sandwich. Worst case scenario, they pick apart my sandwich for the 6th time to make sure I'm not lying about the lack of avocado and then slap a piece on... and this is what they did. Except, they pretty much just cut a whole avocado in half, stem still attached, and threw it under my top layer of bread. Does Panera want me to die? I was too hungry to make a third trip up to the counter, so I decided to be a good American and just eat the damn thing. It was impossible to get a perfect bite because the big, round avocado slice kept getting squeezed out the backside. I finally called it quits when 1/3 of my "sandwich" was in a pile of undefinable mush on my plate. Long story short, I'm still going to eat at Panera... just not this one. The only thing that made this visit enjoyable was a very lovely employee named Chris who was so sweet to us as we refilled our sodas before leaving. He asked how our meal was, brought up Thanksgiving which is right around the corner, and seemlessly transitioned into telling us about their new holiday bread. I'm still never coming back here, but Chris deserves a raise!!!

This is my favorite panera bread. The salads are great. The staff are really friendly. I go here to study all the time. The hazelnut coffee is great. It does get really loud and busy at lunch and dinner but I bring headphones and play music and just keep working on my work. I really do enjoy this spot. I'm surprised at all the bad reviews, to be honest. Oh well, to each their own. I think this panera is better than others. Has a more personal feel.

What can I say. Meh. Above average fast food but still fast food. Convenient and probably better salad than mcdonalds but only a little.

What a complete waste of my money. Nothing is that good and if you think I will pay 5 dollars for a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich you have got to be on some ish better than what Willie Nelson gets. Peanut Butter and Freakin Jelly! Are you Kidding me? I was going to write a long diatribe but just thinking about F ing 5 dollars for a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich is killing me PB and J? Really? Not a Big Mac, not a Foot Long from Subways...but Peanut Butter and F ing Jelly?

After reading the reviews I had to comment. I go here all the time. I order my food, 2 mins later it's ready. The service here is faster then McDonald's. Half the time this lady walks around and throws away our trays/cleans up tables. I've always been greeted nicely. It's a chain so all prices are the same but as far as service I'm here almost once a week and I've always enjoyed it.

2.5...almost 3 stars, just not quite there. This is like one step up from eating fast food fare. I like that you can come here looking grungy after a workout and get your grub on and no one cares. Average Caesar salad, but the French onion soup is quite tasty. The bread that came with my meal, however, was burned. It's moderate in cost, but you actually get a lot of food for the value. And those cinnamon rolls are so tempting, but I still have yet to try them.

your average panera. i don't eat here very often before the foods here are calorie and sodium bombs, but when i do i prefer this location to others in the area. it gets very busy, so you may end up having to clean off a table for yourself. i do love their hazelnut cream cheese on a bagel in the morning, but only as a treat every now and then. on my last visit, i had my usual-mediterranian veggie sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup in the "you pick two" combo. i love this soup, but do not look at the nutritional info if you are watching what you eat...it's shocking. i love the veggie sandwich; nice combo of fresh veggies, pesto, and feta, yum! my b/f had a turkey panini, and he said it was very greasy and salty. the panini had lots of turkey on it, but could have used some veggies too, maybe a slice of tomato? he actually found it filling, which he didn't expect because he eats like a horse (and never gains weight! so jealous). staff here is nice, but don't expect much. this is not a table service restaurant, so they are not going to personally cater to your every need. normally, if one of the staff is walking around and they see you are done eating, they will offer to clean your place for you, which is a nice little touch considering that there is no table service.

I needed some cinnamon rolls badly today. Too bad I went to Panera for them. Yes, I had read the so-so reviews about Panera, but I just couldn't believe they would make a bad cinnamon roll. I ordered a few, along with some bread, and some oatmeal raisin cookies. All I can say was that the cinnamon rolls and the cookies seemed like fake food. In other words, just all mass and no flavor. Plain, tasteless, nothing offensive, just a little dry maybe. Not worth the calorie consumption at all. The bread, which got good reviews elsewhere, wasn't so hot. I like hard crusty rolls, but these were burnt. They weren't right at all. All in all, a waste of time and calories.

This place is plotting to put me in the poor house. Their baked stuff is just ok but their drinks and sandwiches are pretty good. I also liked the atmosphere alot and this place is alot bigger than it looks on the outside. Warning: This place gets filled pretty quickly during lunchtime which makes it difficult to find a table.

I usually go here to get some work done outside of the house, and for that, it serves the purpose. Food is ok. Coffee is ok. Can get a little overrun with the mommy-and-me crowd, but that's expected, it's Conshy.

Greeted every morning with a smile and a welcome. Coffee is usually very hot,the way I like it. Good selection of bagels, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Get on the rewards program and receive something free once or twice a week.
