Really enjoyed our meal at Firebirds. All of the food was good. The onion ring appetizer was a great starter. One thing that really stood out - all of the servers were extraordinarily polite.

Was there four times since they opened. The decor is beautiful almost too high end for a shopping center eatery! The menu was diverse with something for everyone. Food was very good but service just a little slow but overall a pleasant experience!

Kamile our waitress was fantastic. The kitchen was behind, the bar was behind. Her attitude and effort was exemplary. The manager tried to be helpful, he gets points too. But Kamile is the reason we'll be coming back. And after the food came out, prepared properly, it was quite delicious.

We made a reservation for a party of 5, and our table wasn't ready when appearing. Not a big deal, we got some drink and waited. While sitting down our server Camile wasn't sure about most questions we asked about. We waited a ridiculously long time for our water refills, appetizers, dinner entrees, service of our server and even the 2 conversations we had with the manager. He was sitting down on his phone as if we were bothering him. We had to ask our server for refills and if they were busy I could understand but we might be one of the 10 tables in this restaurant right now. Very disappointed in every aspect of this night and will refuse to return to such an amateur restaurant.

This place was GREAT! Everything from the food to the atmosphere and service. 2 of us got the classic ribeye and 1 got the coconut shrimp dinner. Food was cooked perfect. I highly recommend this place and if I'm ever in the area again we will be back.

I never had a bad experience coming here. I went there for dinner on Friday night with few friends. We got seated right away and the server was very nice and positive. we got Chicken wings for a starter and it had a wood fire taste which was very unique. my sister didn't get the right order so the server apologized right away and took it off the check, the manager stopped to greet us and the right order was delivered by the chef. Even when it's busy the manager always manage to find time to greet customers every single time I visited.

Food is good. Enjoyed the Dorado Burger and Spinach Salad. Staff was wonderful from greeting through service. Fries were lukewarm and they could not have been more accommodating. Apologies, hot fries and free desert followed. Customer came first in the most pleasant way. Special thanks to Emily W our waitress. Will definitely return.

We have been wanting to go here, and I wish we hadn't of waited so long! We started at the bar to enjoy happy hour and the prices and service were great! Recommend the Cajun shrimp, yummy. Then we sat down at a table for dinner. Top notch service from Andrew! The food was so good, and the prices are reasonable! We will add it to list of regular restaurants, consider us devoted!

I stopped here to pass some time while waiting for a movie & this was a pleasant surprise. Very cozy spot with indoor & patio seating. We arrived during Happy Hour ordered from the Happy Hour menu. I recommend the Black Diamond drink, it was delicious & 1/2 price. The appetizers were 1 of a kind. I had the tenderloin sliders which were spectacular. Trust me if you come across this restaurant give it a try & you wont be disappointed.

It's ok. Absolutely no vegetarian dishes unless you count house salad and onion rings. Nice decor and good service.

I am sad to give Firebirds this review. Personally I have loved FIrebirds since the moment it opened. BUT I realize now the many times that I went over the years it was always in fall or winter. Unfortunately, my husband is not a fan, feels they are over priced - the food is good but just a bit too pricey, so we've reserved going only for special occasions and when I have a desparate craviing. We were there on Tuesday, 8/25 (desparate for their steak kabobs) and I hated to agree with my husband but our experience this time was just awful. First we ate inside restaurant, felt like we were in a meat locker - it was freezing inside. We were seated right away and waiter (Will - I think) came immediately. Took our drink orders, had to wait a little longer than I thought was necessary as I only ordered a strawberry lemonade and my husband had a club soda. We got our drinks, Will took our dinner order (we didn't order appetizers). So then the wait began, we did not get the customary bread - waited over 10 minutes, couldn't find our waiter. It appeared the manager brought our dinners to us, I asked do they still offer bread, he apologized profusely and said it would be right out (which in our opinion was too late). But we got the bread, was cold and stale and my food was lukewarm at best. I don't know how long it was sitting could not decide whether the food was cold because of the wait or because how cold the restaurant was. Needless to say, very very disappointed in this experience but needed to make the comment. It's summer time yes, I know but the restaurant should not be that cold that the food is cold by the time it hits the table. I do know it is going to take a lot of pleading and begging to get my husband to go here again. We may not be back til dead of winter, when hopefully it will be warm inside along with the food.

We visited Firebirds for the first time last evening for our anniversary and it was good! We arrived around 7 and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very kind & we started dinner with the lobster spinach queso. It was very good, the chips were warm and we enjoyed it. We also ordered two glasses of champagne & when the glasses arrived, one of them was dirty. I could see lip prints on the glass & our waitress took it away immediately. She returned with another glass & as we began to toast we noticed food stuck to the inside of that glass. We told the waitress & she took it away immediately. The manager came over and produced a fresh glass which he advised he polished himself. Fantastic! It was fresh & clean, we toasted and continued on with our meal. * the manager comped the glass of wine* The food: He had the surf and turf, I had the filet and shrimp. We ordered our beef medium rare and it came to us rare. We sent one back & it came back perfectly done. Wonderful meal and great service. The manager returned and apologized for the issue with glass and undercooked beef. He provided us a complimentary dessert and it was delicious. The dessert was a chocolate mousse drizzled with champagne sauce. Over all - good meal & great experience! The customer service was superb!

My first impression was a professional looking high class meal. I ordered a Durango burger (a specialty). It definitely tasted different than most burgers. You can really taste the firewood and the unions and sauces top it off nice. Overall a fairly nice meal. The atmosphere was loud talking. The waitress was not seen much, as it was pretty busy on a Saturday night. We stayed for a good amount of time since the service was slow. It took longer than usual to cook our simple meals. The tables are close enough to bump into your neighbors. All in all if go back, maybe on a weeknight to avoid the chaos, and try something different, since they seemed to have a diverse menu.

Three stars for the atmosphere; very nicely done. I had the Ribeye steak and I was disappointed. I work so much so when my wife and I get a chance to finally get out I usually go for a nice steak. I'm a big fan of Sullivan's Steakhouse in King of Prussia and never had a bad steak there. I would compare Firebirds steaks to an Outback (which I really dislike) or Roadhouse Grill. The service was also lacking; Rule number 1, always go back and ask the guest if he's or her steak came out the way they like it. Also, make sure your station is ready to seat guest. Condiments were empty; at least 3 tables in my servers section had to ask to get their salt shaker refilled. It wasn't that busy for a Sunday afternoon lunch crowd. I would expect that at a diner but not firebirds. Not a horrible experience but not an experience to get me back any time soon either.

Food was fresh and portions were slightly small but it was not busy and the food took too long to be served. Waitress was nice.

Such a great place to come to when you need to unwind. Great atmosphere! Open kitchen is always a plus! Sat at the bar for happy hour specials and my bartender Taylor was more than helpful when it came to decide what I wanted to drink. double black diamond she suggested and after having two of them I was more than satisfied and had the biggest smile on my face. Siobhan the manager came to visit to make sure the food and drink where up to par. What a genuinely nice manager. The staff definitely made this experience one I will not forget! Thank you firebirds for a great first experience!

My fiance and I came here for date night, food was great he had the rib eye I had salmon. I was surprised how casual it was, I was really hoping for a more dressy atmosphere especially for the prices. The waitress we had was not the best, we were her only table there was a total of 3 other tables and she never came back to check on anything. The creme brulee cheesecake was delicious, and the potato with everything on it yum! We will be going back

We came here as a suggestion for a newer restaurant to try in the area. I looked at the menu prior to making our reservations and it seem to have a good variety. Ordered: we were a group of 4. We order the lobster spinach queso dip to start, which was pretty tasty. I order the french dip sandwich with sweet potato fries, which is one of their specialties. My fiancé and another order the smokehouse burger, it was just okay. It was cooked well, but the cold cheese through us off. The forth person ordered grilled salmon, which was over cooked. The waiter mentioned the chef prepares it medium well, it came out over well. It was sent back and order medium rare. The second salmon was good and cooked as ordered. Service: average, pretty much what we expected for the establishment. The waiter and manager did apologize for the over cooked salmon and took it off our bill. That was very generous. Overall: would be a good lunch spot. There wasn't anything spectacular with the restaurant that will be bringing us back anytime soon.

A nice place with very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nice and the seating isn't cramped to where you're kissing elbows with the person at another table. DEFINITELY call ahead and put your name in because the wait on the weekend can get quite long.

  • Sam L.

Horrible service. Only reason for two stars is the cheap drink specials. Apps came out before the drinks, had to ask for a lime for my Gin and tonic, check was wrong. Everything was just a step below average.

I used to enjoy firebirds and the option of having fairly respectable new england clam chowder and tater tots but the service has become increasingly lazy and complacent from the hostesses to the manager.when you sit for almost 10 minutes in a fairly empty restaurant and Noone including the manager who is standing at the table next to yours chit chatting and walks away. I also wish I could say that this was the first time to have lack luster non existent service but it sadly is not. Yes that same manager had been alerted to it then but the issue persists and continues to grow worse. For the price point you can do way better. Steer clear. If you do decide to chance it be sure to check things including your napkin for cleanliness.

We've eaten at Firebirds about 4 or 5 times since they opened. The steaks and seafood are great, we've tried a few different cuts of steak as well as shrimp and mahi. Everything is flavored and seasoned very well, so interesting tastes and not boring. The only thing I would caution people about who haven't been here is to order your steak more well done than you would at other steak restaurants like Sullivan's, Capitol Grille, or Ruth's Chris. My husband normally orders his streak medium rare but at Firebirds he orders it medium because medium rare has a cold very bloody center at Firebirds, which would be considered rare at other steak restaurants. The severs are always very pleasant. The one time we had a minor issue, the manager came to our table and was very accommodating and friendly and went out of her way to correct the issue.

Hopefully this was just an off night. Previous visits had been positive, but this recent one was disappointing. Very young hostesses provided menus but not the drink menu. Few minutes later the waiter showed up asking if we'd like a cocktail and handed us a cocktail menu - standing there while I tried to quickly scan the menu. Waiter never told us the specials and disappeared for long stretches at a time it wasn't especially busy. Had to finally flag down another server just to get ketchup since we had our food for 10 minutes before we got the "how is everything?" visit. Wine came out after they had already delivered salads. A medium rare filet came out very rare. Aside from a few more minutes on the filet, the food was decent. These issues were mainly around the service. For these prices, simple things like providing cocktail menus and specials shouldn't be missed.

Review is for 5/10/2015. i had it in the wrong location , so changing it now. There is nowhere to edit the date of the review so I am not sure how to do that. The wood fire grilled salmon was really good once it came out. Real good taste and perfect amount of charring. I would get this again. The wait time was not good. Apparently, the fire got going a lil too much and it over-cooked the salmon and I guess other entrees so we had to wait a while for them to re-do it. Was wondering why it took so long for them to come out to tell us that. They waited until after the new entrees were almost done. So we split a Caesar salad (plenty to split up) and we all noticed it had some heat in it which was different.. kind of like Old Bay with Tobasco sauce. I prefer Caesar salad the normal way, but a lil heat is ok. This was too much heat. The other person in the party had issues with their burger. They said it was too salty. The prime rib was good, but the loaded potato was way too much for another in the party. We joked about it being a 5,000 calorie baked potato so we did have some laughs which is a good thing. Service was friendly and tried to satisfy our needs and listened to the concerns about the long wait times so no issue with the wait staff, etc. Good job covering for the fire overcooking issue. Lighting.. a lil too dark. Temps.. a lil too cold to be honest. Prices.. salmon was worth it and was really good, but some other entrees could come down in price a little bit. I think things are over-priced a tad and would like beer in bigger glass if that is an option. Atmosphere.. not bad actually.. cool place, just too dark for my liking and pull back on the salt a little bit. Customers can add salt you know. B-/C+

Probably won't go back. I think it's overpriced. I hate the robot way the waitstaff greets and makes recommendations. The food was okay. I had salmon, there were big chunks of garlic skin in the potatoes and the fried spinach was greasy and way oversalted. My companion had the filet pasta and liked it. The dining area is very nice and thankfully separated from the overcrowded bar. We passed through the bar on the way out and was shocked to see a table full of pre-teen children.

My husband and I are always pleased with this place. The food is interesting and well prepared. The service is outstanding. I mentioned to our server that I had an allergy and they had the chef come out and go over the menu with me...wow! That has never happened anywhere before. On another occasion, we took family here while they were visiting and it was a great ambiance for hanging out and not feeling pressured to leave asap. They were equally impressed. Also, it doesn't feel like a chain restaurant :-)

Decided to try Firebirds after shopping for furniture at Raymour in the same center. We didn't have the kids with us and wanted to have a nice dinner without spending a ton. We've previously been to Chammps and wanted a little bit more atmosphere. We were always hearing cool things about Firebirds from friends, but hadn't tried yet. The inside decor here is really inviting and hip, good lighting, really nice, super cool lit up bar....... There was a wait for a table, so we had a few cocktails at the bar, WOW. Their cocktail menu is DA BOMB DIGGITY. If you're looking for upscale drinks, look no further. We'd go back just for the drinks and apps. I had the best Manhattans of my life and my wife had an Elderflower martini with basil that really rocked. We were seated in a booth and had a great upbeat server (forget her name -- 2 Manhattans haha) but she was attentive and all-pro. The whole vibe of this place seemed to be make the guest happy. I had a perfect strip steak and the wife had a steak salad with awesome dressing that you could drink, so good. We tried the lobster Queso and it was delish but a little too salty, wouldn't order it again. They had a nice selection of wines but didn't try any, had to drive --but we did share dessert, cheesecake, and it was great. I'd go back just because of the atmosphere and hip bar-- having great food and awesome service put it over the top for me. And I still had money left to pay the sitter.....

I started out with the Lobster chile con queso which was very tasty. I had the Tortilla soup and though it looked a bit mushy, it was flavorful. The chile rubbed Delmonico steak was very flavorful. It was cooked a little over what I like in a medium rare, but I did not send it back. The potatoes au gratin had tons of flavor and had the right amount of crunch to it that went well with the creaminess. We did not have dessert but they did look very appetizing. Service was below my expectations. She was not able to make any convincing recommendations, even though we specifically told her this was our first time there, After dinner arrived we got the feeling we were being rushed. When we continued to enjoy our dinner, we then had the problem that we couldn't find her. This is why I gave it only 4 stars.

Amazing dinner! Our waitress Emily was on her game, she was super attentive, knowledgable and gave fantastic recommendations. I raved about the carrot cake and was excited about the hot Carmel sauce that came with it and how good it would be with ice cream. Next thing I knew she had gotten me a scoop! We will definitely be back. Ps- good wine selection

Overall, food and drinks are good. Decor and ambiance was nice. The plan was to go to the Movie Tavern, but after a list of sold outs movies, we decided to give this place a try. Was definitely worth the money. I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

After a few visits --- comforting ambiance when you first walk in, bar area with high top tables, and pseudo booths backing up to a fireplace wall. A floor to ceiling bar, and of course the dining area all visible. Kitchen is also open so you can see the madness. The aromas from that kitchen fill the air. First, what sets this place apart from most is the service. I've left feeling I was at a Ruth Chris or Sullivan's, but only spent half the money. The wait staff is on point with the menu, drinks, and really try to cater to you. I felt more inclined to relax instead of showing up, eating, and leaving. It's a dining experience. The food has been amazing. Burgers are surprisingly very good and aren't too pricey at ~$10. Get the onion straws for sure! The entrees, however, are a little pricey, but they are damn good as well. It's about what you'd expect when spending ~$20. I'd much rather this place over the Chammps, Olive Garden, and PF Changs in the same area.

We went there as a big group for dinner. The starters were good, especially the Ahi Tuna which was excellent. I ordered Filler Mignon which turned out to be a mistake; it was very dry, which ruined my party! The dessert, key lime pie, was good. The restaurant has a nice decor and the service is good too.

Service was exceptional. Kind server with refills at half glass. Manager even came by and asked how everything was. Good was top notch and while they offered some common dishes, they were far from common in taste. 9/10 would eat here again!

Husband and I went for drinks and dinner last night and it was FABULOUS! I absolutely adored the decor. We sat right next to the fireplace in the bar area. The hostess was a sweetie and our waiter, Ian, was wonderful. Very attentive and efficient. The food was outstanding. We did "snacks" first with the pretzels and beer cheese and sliders. Amazing and fresh. Lots of restaurants serve soft pretzels but you can tell they came from the freezer. These were awesome. Then I got crabcakes and my husband got the kebabs. I'm from Maryland and I know crabcakes. These were GOOD. I had a bite of the steak kebabs and I barely had to chew. It was tender and cooked perfectly and rivaled any steakhouse I've visited. I can't wait to go back in better weather and people watch in the outdoor seating area. But cold rain, good martinis and food and a warm fireplace really hit the spot.

I usually don't write reviews but what my family and I experienced last night was worth it a review. My wife ,daughter and I stopped at Firebirds for a quick dinner on our way back home. We did not order any drinks , we just had water. I have experienced before many times the attitude of the waiter or waitress always changes when you don't order alcohol, NOT at Firebirds we had amazing service from the beginning to the end, our water glass was always full, we were offered more bread while our food was still on the making. When our food got to the table in a reasonable time, looked pretty good except for my wife's beef kabob, which was overcooked. Our server apologize and took away immediately.I thought now here we go another 15 minutes of wait , I was proved wrong ,a blond lady( I'm sure was the manager, unfortunately i don't know her name ) came by less than 2 minutes with my wife's dinner cooked perfectly. After we finished we didn't order dessert I just asked for the check. Surprisingly our server Fabian informed us that my wife's dinner had been taken off of the check. Now THAT is HOSPITALITY.To the managers and all staff at firebirds THANK YOU! Kyle B.

We went here for the first time this past fathers day for lunch, and had a good experience overall. Although they were not that busy, the service was great and they really tried to make it a nice day for all the fathers in attendance. They gave all the dads that were there a $10 thank you gift card to come back which was nice for a first experience. The food came out quickly and tasted pretty good (steak sandwich and fish tacos). Overall we were pleased with our experience and will be sure to eat there again!

This is the second time I have been to firebirds. Their food is super salty. The lemonade was so sweet that it gave me a headache or maybe it was the salty food. I went for lunch with my colleagues and if I was not expensing the lunch it would have been more displeasing. The service was slow but I wasn't in a rush anyway. The upside was my mixed green salad was outstanding (I had the dressing on the side). I wouldn't go back with all the choices in the area.

A little pricey but a great place. The food is great and the shopping center makes for great walking around before or after your meal/drinks. The interior is a big open space with visible kitchen. It can get a bit loud as the place is generally packed. Suggest calling by 1pm for dinner reservations. I had their bacon wrapped filet with shrimp. The filet was perfectly cooked to a medium rare. One thing to be careful with is that certain cuts (like the sirloin) are in chunk form causing some edges to be cooked differently then the middle. Two guest in my party had this issue, were the edges were well while the centers were the medium rare they asked for. I look forward to coming back and trying some other options.

The first time we ate here, we had a variety of meals at our table and all were good. One oversight was quickly corrected. I personally enjoyed the Desert Pear Martini which was fabulous. So, we planned to return. When we did, we were sorely disappointed. My steak was underdone and had to be sent back not once, but twice. My daughter waited so long for the promised steak sauce to arrive that her steak got cold. My martini was poured into a hot glass straight from the dishwasher (at least it was clean!) which made the drink warm. The waitress ignored empty drink glasses, and generally seemed annoyed that she was serving our table (perhaps because of our location near the door? I'm really not sure!). Unfortunately, our second experience ruined our first impression and we have no plans to return.

Service staff is very friendly. Food was presented well looked appetizing. But execution was off on several things. Mango ice tea was not very flavorful, tortilla soup was okay, and wicked burger was the best part but veggies on it were bland. Cole slaw good but not the best I've had.

I dine here about once a month. Great fire grilled steaks (as the name suggests). High quality cuts of meat. Much better quality cuts than Outback or Texas Roadhouse. Filet is very tasty with bacon wrapped around it before grilling. My steaks have always been cooked as ordered. Terrific sides, such as au gratin potatoes with a hint of jalapeno peppers. My favorite is their salads, even the regular tossed garden salad on the side is very tasty with sugared pecans and homemade dressings. I especially like the garlic ranch dressing. Love the shrimp and strawberry salad with goat cheese, and the Colorado chicken salad is great as well. They allow me to make a couple changes without hesitating to accommodate. My boyfriend loves their wings and burgers. I tried the crab cake appetizer during the last visit and it was yummy. A little more bread filling than I normally prefer, but it was very tasty. Great fresh out of the oven bread. Reasonable prices for the quality of food. Averages $30 or less per person. $50 or less per person when ordering an appetizer, salad, steak with side, and desert. Very nice atmosphere and decor. Friendly service. Only negative is that parking is a little tricky with it being so close to a movie theater, so there usually is a bit of a walk, which is fine when it is not raining. Overall fabulous!

Save your time & money... COLD "hot" dip, followed by COLD crab cake (for wife) and COLD steak (for me).... Bad preparation, Small portions, Shamelessly overpriced... Why do they keep bringing other tables' orders? CAN I GET MY GRILLED ONIONS SOME DAY? I hope the wrong table enjoyed them. Service is overwhelmed. Just poor management obviously. Even the parking sux!! 3 visits now, 3 strikes: THEY'RE OUT!!

My friend suggested Firebirds for dinner. Of course I immediately went to Yelp to read reviews. I should've listened to you Yelp. Now, they do have call ahead seating, which is fabulous. We waited less than 5 minutes for a table on a Friday night at 7pm after calling ahead. We were promptly greeted by our server and I saw that their Flirtini had St. Germaine in it. I love anything with St. Germaine in it, so I ordered it. When it arrived, the glass was not very full. For a $9.50 martini, I'm not asking for a full to the brim glass, but I did feel like I got jipped a little bit. My friend ordered the salmon, bf ordered the coconut shrimp, and I ordered the grill shrimp and strawberry salad. Our server said she would be back with bread. Bread never came. Our meals arrived and my salad portion was very large, but I quickly saw it was over dressed. I should've ordered the dressing on the side, my bad. I dove in and it was good. They did not skimp on the goat cheese. I tried bf's coconut shrimp and while they had a nice flavor, they were soggy. Like they were sitting on the plate for a while. I didn't feel that the prices were exceptionally high. $20 for the soggy coconut shrimp is a bit much, but if they were prepared and plated properly I could see charging $20. It also came with 2 sides. My salad was $14.50 and thought that was reasonable for the size and again they didn't skimp on the goat cheese, nor the pecans, shrimp, or strawberries. I was disappointed in the martini, soggy shrimp, and the over dressed salad. The ambience is nice, but there were still a lot of families there on a Friday night. If I'm going to go somewhere on a Friday night for dinner, I want to go somewhere more suitable for adults versus families.

Been here three times. First time was great. Second time, my wife had the saltiest, most over-brined chicken we've ever tasted. TWICE. She ended up bringing a different dinner home. Third time, today, we were seated outside with our newborn; after 15 minutes of not being waited on, we left. All of the problems seem to be management related - whether wait or kitchen staff. Not sure we'll visit again.

My husband, daughter and I went for dinner this evening for my daughter's birthday (although we didn't mention this fact since she did not want any special attention). We ordered the Prime Rib, New York Strip and the Delmonico steak and all were cooked to perfection. While the BLT Salad, au gratin and baked potatoes made for delicious sides. But honestly the best part wasn't the food it was the service. From our friendly waiter to the manager who stopped at our table to check on us just as my daughter, who has a loose tooth, was telling us she was having trouble eating her steak. He offered to have it sliced for her which she accepted and when he brought it back he'd added an extra side of butter and sour cream for her. Then at the end of the evening as I was paying the bill, my husband and daughter went to rescue the car from the outer reaches of the complex (the only downside to this area). While I was waiting the manager appeared again with a huge slice of the creme brulee cheesecake all boxed up for me to take. He said "I thought she might find this a little softer to eat, but since she's already gone I boxed it up". I told him she'd be thrilled, which she was, and so were we with our entire experience. It was these small touches that made the difference between a nice meal out to a great meal out.

I've been up Firebirds several times now for lunch and have had a good experience every time. Good food, drink, and great service. Props to the wait staff who are incredibly friendly and do a fine job. I've sat at the bar a couple times for lunch and have had 2 different bartenders who were equally happy to have me dine at the bar. I've had a couple steaks and the wings which were all quite good. As others have said, be sure to try their bread, it's delicious! The bar area is stocked with...i can't recall the exact number, but about 30,000 in alcohol. The top "shelf" is literally for display only, and it is quite eye catching. Have not yet tried the burger as I hoped to, but Amber says they have a tasty burger so I'm gonna give it a shot next time.

One of my favorite places! Best sweet potato fries ever! The service is awesome and the atmosphere is great especially at happy hour.

Finally I have another good review. Great first impression! We went on a Wednesday night at about 8:45. There were not many people in the restaurant at this point. We sat in the bar area right next to the fire place which was cool. The atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress Amanda was awesome! All of our food was delicious, well prepared, looked good and came out in a timely manner. The price was about $100 for the two of us before the tip. 4 drinks, an app, a big salad with steak on it, a filet mignon and we split a desert. We also got a free cocktail because of a bar tending error! We will definitely go back, perhaps on a busier night, and pray that it remains consistent!

We visited Firebirds on a Tuesday evening. Surprisingly there was a good sized crowd that developed for dinner around 6pm. I love the food here. Everything is done very well, presented perfectly and tastes awesome. I ordered the potato soup, which was just OK. But I got a Ribeye steak that was done perfectly. Service has always been very prompt and with a smile. The only thing I would change or add, is that they should expand their craft beer options. They have a good start with the Sam Adams seasonals, Sierra Nevada and Stella. But there should be some good unique options on their menu go along with the food choices. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.

This place has a very nice ombiance, love the smell of the smoke from the grill, love the seating are. That's where the good ends. Food is average at best. I ordered a Rib eye, i got a strip steak. I asked the server who expedited our food and he said it was a rib eye. For the price i expected better food. I would never go back. You would think being a higher end steak house they would train the servers on the different cuts of meat. I've honestly had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. I won't go back.

I would have given Firebirds five stars if it were not for the service. Very slow, even after the restaurant got less busy. Had a manager bring out our drinks, and a different manager our dinner. Not sure why it took so long or why our waitress didn't do it. But the food is/was great. Son had a filet, I had prime rib, my wife the salmon. All excellent, flavorful, and nicely presented. Recommended if you have the time for a long dinner.

    - food: solidly mediocre - atmosphere: corporate bland - staff: pleasant though constant upsell attempts - price: high for what you get additional info: - decent option for the area

Had dinner here May 1st. I can't say enough about the food or service. Started out with martini's...served shaken table side. If there was anything I would give an "eh" to it would be the drink as it was a little too dirty for our liking...on to apps-I had the chicken wings, also done on the grill over hickory wood. The wood gave these an excellent flavor! While not as crispy as deep fried, they still were crispy enough to be bite through. Husband had crab cakes which were also great. Served with a hint of old bay, a tortilla slaw and a mango habanero chutney which just the right kick to it. On to entrees - I had the spicy delmonico served with a side of south western potatoes au gratin. The steak was super flavorful, melt in your mouth and seared to perfection over the wood fired grill. The potatoes had a great flavor without being spicy. Husband got the surf and turf with loaded baked potato. The filet mignon was also spoon tender and cooked to perfection and the lobster came out grilled and was one of the most tender and juicy, cooked just right lobsters I've had in a long time. If there were any cons, I'd say the delmonico was a little fatty, I try not to eat the fat on the outside of a steak, but the little pieces I did have had that great open flame char on them. The delmonico was a lot more flavorful than the filet. Our waiter Josh was attentive and nice. Actually gave us chilled glasses to keep our second martinis cool. We will definitely be going back, the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything was tops. I'd go back here before Sullivan's or Ruth's! Can't wait to do lunch and try a burger on that grill!!

We wanted to try this place for lunch first before venturing out for a dinner. It does an active business for lunch with nearby corporations like Pfizer. Service was very good...almost too attentive, but rather that than the opposite. Had the special Po Boy for entre as did others, and one had the fish tacos. All reports were very good on flavor and presentation. We split a few desserts as well..all good. Two beers later we got the tab...nearly $100 for four people...a bit pricey for the selections. Atmosphere was very nice...we will try it again when our bank account is replenished.

Went here for the first time this past Saturday night for a date night with my boyfriend. I was NOT impressed. I had called earlier in the week to make a reservation to find out they don't take them, but they do have call-ahead seating, which I thought was great. Fast forward to Saturday early evening. I called the restaurant at 6 (the earliest they accept calls for the call-ahead list), and was told there was going to be a 75 to 85 minute wait. I live a half hour away from the restaurant, so if we left at 630, we would only have to wait a few minutes and be seated pretty quickly. We get to the restaurant around 7 and check in at the hostess desk. We are given a buzzer and start to wait our turn to be seated. Fast forward to it being 745, and we're still not seated, even after my bf has checked in once already with the hostess to see what our wait time would be. He was told when that we would only have 5 more minutes to wait to sit down. It's now 815, and we're still not seated. My bf then checks in again and was told that the hostesses can no longer give him an estimated wait time "due to how busy the restaurant is." I'm getting cranky at this point since we are both starving, and if I don't eat, I get migraines, and I can feel one coming on. We FINALLY get seated at 830, and I'm upset. I hoped that the food would be worth the wait since we waited a total of 2 1/2 hours, counting the call ahead time. NOT ACCEPTABLE. This restaurant has been open for quite some time, and glitches like that should have been worked out by this point. A party of 6 actually walked out while I was still waiting (which I was thinking about doing) and told the manager that they won't be coming back. The food was okay. The bread (which we had to ask for, which didn't make me happy) looked like a butt. It was good, but just good, not great. I had a salad and the ribs, and even though the ribs fell off the bone (as they should when they are cooked the right way) they just didn't taste worth the $26 they cost. My bf also had a salad and one of the steak dishes with grilled veggies, which I tasted and thought was bland. The service was just okay too, not great. I would've liked our server to recognize that my iced tea glass was empty and refilled it before I had to ask for more. Just a personal preference. We went because he had received a $60 gift card for the holidays, otherwise I don't think I would've ever gone there. I am most certainly not going back any time soon. This restaurant just lost another potential few customers.

Went there for lunch yesterday. Parking can get full, but you can always find a spot in the next lot over since it is in a mall. The Strawberry and Shrimp salad is still delicious. I got the braised beef burger with red pepper aioli. Good sandwich, but a bit too much jus made the bun a tad soggy. Service was great from the server to the runners. Manager always stops by to check and see how everything is.

Bit disappointed this visit. Ordered the French dip which is usually very good. The beef was moist, tender and full of flavor. However, the au sous was extremely salty, as if it sat around and evaporated and the salt concentrated. Service was mediocre. We were 3 couples. The men got refills on their drinks quickly and the women waited a long time with empty glasses before asked for a refill.

I took my dad out to the new Firebirds location in Providence town center to just relax and relieve some stress and have a good meal. The atmosphere was great, the bar was so inviting I would love to sit in front of the wall of beautiful lighted bottles. The wine rack in the center of the room, the fires, the whole design just made for a gorgeous restaurant. There were also lighted candles in the walls of the bathroom and nice tile work.. Always have to have a good bathroom :-) I ordered the seared tuna which was melt in your mouth delicious especially with the spicy mustard sauce. The crab cakes were also a great appetizer and the mango chutney on the side was a perfect match. The surf and turf (filet minion wrapped in bacon) was tender and perfectly cooked and seasoned and the grilled lobster tail was moist and delicious. Finally I got the chocolate cake dessert With the raspberry sauce (I forget the name) but it was delicious and the waitress even asked if I wanted a glass of milk to go with it which I did and it was divine! The aesthetic beauty of the restaurant and the quality of food would already have me coming back but to add to that, the managers were walking around making sure everything was good and were so friendly and warm. I will go back again and again and I'll recommend this restaurant to everyone. Best restaurant in the area... Especially for date nights and special occasions.

I have to agree with a lot of other reviewers here.... 1) The salad is DROWNING in dressing. 2) Been here 5 times now, and service is hit-or-miss. I've only received bread two out of five times. When service is good, it's good. But the bad servers are really bad. I've had the best service at the bar. 3) It's slow. Good luck going there on a 1-hour lunch break if you expect to return on time. 4) The food alone is good. Not amazing, but very good. If this review were on food alone it would get 4-4.5 stars. 5) It's just a tad on the pricey side for what you get.

I really like the idea of firebirds... Close to home, step up from outback, less expensive than Sullivan's or Ruth's... But I find that it is hit or miss. I've had some experiences that were awesome, and some that were terrible. It's fantastic when the food is cooked correctly, but not so good when it's off.

The food here was good but nothing that makes me think that I have to have it. The service was nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. I may have given this restaurant another star had they not been out of pinot grigio which I learned after the waitress returned back empty handed. I then asked for a Kettle One drink ... in which she then returned saying they were out of Kettle One ... so onto Grey Goose it is! Overall if I am back in the area again I may stop by again just can't say anything I would crave.

I finally got a chance to check out Firebirds recently. It was a mixed experience for myself and the 3 other people with me. I'll give you the highs and the lows, then you can decide if you want to chance it. HIGH #1: The atmosphere...the decor was very nice, I liked the overall sense of style that the place had. The bar was beautiful with its multi-level rows of alcohol stacked up towards the ceiling. The lighting was fairly dim, almost a little too dim, but it worked. So the style was great. LOW #1: Salty food...oh my oh my, the food was definitely over-salted. That usually speaks to a lack of expertise in the kitchen, they mask a lack of taste with salt. My meal, a chicken sandwich (which by the way was way overcooked, but passable, and by passable I mean I successfully didn't choke on it) was salty enough to have me gurgling down glasses of water hours later. It was still a good enough dish for me because I was very hungry, I ate all of it as well as the fries (which were pretty standard fries, but over-salted as well). My friend's wife had a pasta dish that was tried by my wife and both were stunned at the level of saltiness contained in that dish. It was actually not edible and she sent it back. So between the overcooked chicken and the salty food, I'd say somebody needs to get control of the chefs in that kitchen. HIGH #2: The service...yeah, so the food was mediocre, but our server made up for it with his professional and courteous attitude. He actually took my friend's salty dish off the bill and we didn't have to pay for it. That was a moment that really impressed us and the fact that they did that really saved the experience from becoming much uglier. I was very happy with the service, that's how it should be done. LOW #2: My gin and tonic...so I've had a few gin and tonics in my life and I can tell when I've got a good one and when I've got one that may be...lacking. This gin and tonic I had came in a pretty small glass for starters, especially compared to more generous offerings in places like Seasons 52. But what was disappointing was that it tasted a bit watered-down, or "flat", like the tonic water had lost its bite. HIGH #3: Butt bread...okay so maybe the food was salty, but I really liked the bread they brought us. Yes, it is shaped like a butt. The Butt Bread was fresh out of the oven. We cut it into quarters and each had some. It had a nice crust with a soft dough middle and we rather enjoyed it. We got more delivered to us. LOW #3: The price...so if we didn't have a $60 gift card to this place, we would've shelled out around $60 per couple after tip. There are places that I am glad to drop $60 on, but I just didn't feel that the quality of food justified the prices at Firebirds, so I had an extra hard time swallowing that bill when it came. So there you have it, the highs and the lows of my experience at Firebirds. Even though the decor, service, and bread was great, it's the quality of food and sense of value that really matters to me. That keeps me from saying this place is "A-OK". Perhaps you will go on a night with different chefs? Maybe a different bartender? Then you may have a different experience than I did. Firebirds is a place that is on the cusp of being something much better than this. It could be a great place. But I don't think I can go back there until there are some different folks cooking the food.

Went because my wife had a coupon (how many of you know how that goes? I could bring home a Porsche if I told her I had a coupon...) Interior is nice, what I would call "slick", but there's nothing to absorb the sound from the other diners and the kitchen, so it's pretty loud. Waiter was pretty good, though he disappeared for a while. The menu was very expensive; I think the least expensive dinner item was a $10 burger, which was exactly the same as the $8 burger you can get at the restaurant 2 doors down. Also seemed to be targeting the wine and cocktail crowd, while I'm much more of a low-key beer guy. In the end, while my experience was a positive one, I can't see myself going back all that often because of the high prices on the menu.

The restaurant is beautiful. The lighting and decor made for a very relaxing dinner. The lobster/spinach dip was mouth watering. We ordered the crab cakes from the appetizer menu. They were a good size. Enough for a full dinner. When we asked for tartar sauce they didn't have any but our waiter asked the chef to make some for us. It was delicious. I would defiinitely recommend this resaurant for lunch or dinner.

This new chain is off to the side in the Providence Town Center, surrounded by fairly empty storefronts so far. Why no takers? The rent must be high, but there is certainly a lot of Wegmans traffic. The similar Promenade outside Bethlehem is a big success, so why isn't this except for the big W? There is even an independent bookstore, what a surprise. Ok, the restaurant -- pretty much a steakhouse, Firebirds has nothing but a side salad on the menu for vegans. They said they can specially prepare grilled veggies or pasta, but that isn't something I really go out for. When oh when will nicer places consider putting a few savory plant-based dishes on their menu? However, I give this place three stars because of the gorgeous bar area, with a fireplace, tons of dark wood, and red sofas and cushions galore, just begging you to get cozy. Truly beautiful design, and we could picture ourselves having a cocktail here sometime. They call it the Fire Bar, cute. We checked it out during its "soft open," and the staff was extremely enthusiastic and friendly.

Great all American Resturant. Steaks are real good. Service has always been good. The iced tea is fresh brewed and delicious. We first tried Firebirds at their location in Erie, PA. This is one of our go-to places for dinner on Friday nights.

First time visit was excellent, on a Sunday for lunch. Service excellent, atmosphere the same, and the Wicked burger and the Grilled Chicken salad were very good. A bit pricy, but when entertaining guests the menu offers a wide variety of choices and the experience is positive.

The food is rather expensive but was very good. My husband is a chef so he's really picky about food standards, esp. when the avg entrée is over $20. The steaks were done perfectly and the salmon entrée was spot on. The crabcake appetizer was excellent-lots of lump crab chunks. The chocolate cake and carrot cake desserts were fabulous. Be warned, the slice of choc. cake is large enough to feed the Brady Bunch AND Alice! This was our second visit to Firebirds. On our first visit, we were seated with menus then ignored for 15 min. Our waiter briefly stopped to say he'd be right back. After 5 more minutes passed, we got up and left. We could not believe we were ignored for 20 minutes. I went to their website and left them harsh feedback about how astounded we were that a restaurant at that price point could have such astoundingly poor service. Much to my surprise, I received a reply a mere 30 min. later from a Firebirds' managing partner. I was impressed with both the responsiveness and his apology for failing to live up to their own service standards. Even the best-run organizations will have really bad service failures from employees. What sets the good ones apart is how they respond to their customers. Firebirds responded exceptionally fast, acknowledged the problem, apologized and made it right. For the other reviewers who have had less-than-stellar experiences with them, I recommend letting them know through their website. From our experience, they take comments seriously. One unhappy customer can share a bad experience with a LOT of people, you know!

Food was mediocre- too salty for my taste. My burger was also overcooked. I asked for medium and the waiter even clarified by asking if I meant pink throughout, but it was definitely well done. Our waiter also did not know the menu and my wine selections were not available. It was annoying to have to be asked two times to pick something else. I felt the food was overpriced for average food at best. One star for the nicer decor- though my friend commented that the lighting was bad. Waitstaff looked like they had nothing to do. They were circling the restaurant in groups and chit chatting like a bunch of teens in a shopping mall. This place tries too hard to be something that it is not. I'd rather go next door to Champps.

The atmosphere and the smell from the wood fire grills is absolutely intoxicating. Its like you are up in the mountains in front of a log cabin with a great big wood fire going. The service is good and the food is pretty good. A good place to grab lunch or dinner. You can do lunch at a reasonable price, or shoot the moon towards more expensive fare if you are in the mood.

Great ambiance, (not "ombiance" as another reviewer said. To which I immediately disregarded anything he had to say) great steaks and sandwiches, and an awesome place to come for happy hour. Love the bar staff and servers. Have always had friendly and attentive service regardless of how busy or slow it was. Yes, they had some kinks to work out since they've opened, but they certainly have worked through them. I would suggest giving them a second chance if you've been here previously and had a bad experience.

Went here 6-16-12 for lunch. I can say it's "MEH". I was expecting much more when I walked in. The decor is great. I'm not a drinker and I wanted to sit at the bar just because of the decor. Very cool. First strike, I walked into the restaurant and there were maybe 4 tables of people. Hostess and waiter ignored me for a good 60 or so seconds. Don't think 60 seconds is long? Stand in front of a mirror and stare at yourself while counting to 60. It's long. I wasn't acknowledged until the Hostess and the Waiter were done with their conversation. BIG strike one. Not a good first impression. BIG MINUS! The booths are spacious and not your typical TGIF booth size. Folks on the larger size (such as myself) may find the booths here are actually comfortable. Plus one. The waiter was courteous and patient. My dad ordered the bacon cheeseburger, medium well, with steak fried, my mom ordered the sesame encrusted salmon w/ fried spinach, and I had the crab cake salad with a side order of grilled Chicken. Plus one for the nice waiter. As a "wood fire grill" place, I would expect their grill masters to know their craft. Not so much. The "medium well" burger turned into a "well done" and was very dry. The fry cooks over cooked the fries so that the fries (steak fries) were large chunks of crunchy "goodness". Mind you, I like crispy fries so if this was my plate, I would not have complained. My parents, however, are "normal" fry people. The side of grilled chicken I had was not grilled, it was burned. I had to scrape off chunks of carbon and the bitterness overwhelmed what could have been a tasty chicken breast. THREE HUGE minuses. The sesame crusted salmon was very good and its pairing with the fried spinach was a very good idea. It was cooked well (not overdone) and seasoned well. Not much else to say. THIS was a good dish. Plus one. The Crab Cake Salad sounded intriguing. Two small crab cakes came on a bed of greens. These greens were DRENCHED in salad dressing. This salad was not "lightly coated" but soaked, almost pickled in dressing. However, the tortilla strips were still crunchy and the greens were fresh. It just seems the salad prep cook decided to overdo it with the dressing. The dressing for the salad overpowered the subtle taste of the crabcakes. As for the crabcakes, I'd say they were "OK" for the area. There are several restaurants within driving distance (and a take out crabcake place) in Collegeville that have better crabcakes. I'd say they were close to 60% filler material so this dish should be more appropriately named "Crab Flavored 'Breadcake' salad". All told, for $57.00 (including tip) for 3 people, I was expecting a bit more in terms of the food. The ambiance and restaurant were good and the server was excellent. The front door staff is poor and the cooks, well, maybe we had the B team for lunch, and they were saving the A team for the big Father's Day lunch tomorrow. I will go again in the near future to try the steaks and more traditional "grilled" fare, but if it's anything like the chicken, I'll be very disappointed.

Excellent food and service and a perfect location. I love the atmosphere and much prefer it to the more traditional steak houses. Their prices are better and their steaks are every bit as good, if not better. Great happy hour, fun cocktails and their house wines are also very good.

There is only one thing good about Firebirds and that's the decor. It's very nice with a great looking bar but that's not enough to keep me coming back. I've eaten there twice and both times they were pretty bad. The first time I was there we were a group of five and a baby in a high chair. My salmon was salty and dry and the meatloaf was salty and bland. None of our meals were hot or tasted like they just came out of the oven. The only good part of the meal were the onion ring appetizers. One of the servers spilled water on the floor and no one cleaned it up. We watched as several servers walked right passed it and several customers almost slipped. Our server was not very friendly or observant of our needs. I hate waiting for a refill on my drink and I had to wait way too long. The food was overpriced, cold, and the service wasn't great. The second time I ate there was a Tuesday night with three friends. Two of us ordered steak and two ordered pasta. After about twenty minutes of waiting for our food the server came out to tell us that they are out of pasta. Really? How can a restaurant be out of pasta? They said that they were getting more and it would be about a ten minute wait or they could change their orders. They said they would wait ten more minutes for the pasta. We were asked if we wanted our steaks brought out since they were already done or wait until their pasta was done. We didn't want to eat cold steaks so we said to bring them out. The steaks were already cold and tough to chew. We were finished our steaks before the pasta meals were brought out. They finally came about an hour after they were ordered and they tasted ok. Our server never came back so we stopped another server who was walking by. She then got our server who said she could comp one dessert for the two people who waited over an hour for their meals. They asked for a manager and said they should both receive free dessert since they both waited an hour. The manager agreed and the dessert was brought out shortly. Overall, Firebirds is overpriced and has terrible service. I will not be going back there. There is no excuse for running out of pasta on a Tuesday night.

We tried FireBirds last night and I must say its a beautiful restaurant. We had a 70 minute wait so we sat at the bar and decided to try the wings based on other reviews. Probably some of the best wings we've ever had!!! The bartenders were great as well. I had the Blt salad with chicken and hubby had the salmon. The entrees were ok. Next time I think we'd try steak. If for nothing else, a great place to have drinks and apps!! Based on our experience, I'd give a solid 3.5.

I ate here a few months ago for my friend's birthday. The service was ok, but not great. The waiter and waitress he was training definitely could have been more attentive. I had a desert pear martini, which was really good. I will say that this restaurant is not very good for vegetarians. They had one vegetarian entree, but if I remember correctly it was not on the menu, I had to ask if they had anything vegetarian. It ended up being a plate of grilled peppers, onions, and squash with some corn tortillas. When I got my food, it was cold. One of my friends' steak was also cold. I will probably not be visiting again.

I went to Firebirds recently with my husband for dinner on a Friday night. The wait was a bit long and we weren't seated until about 9pm. I must admit, we had a bit of sticker shock at the pricing of the menu. We both ordered steaks with the loaded baked potatoes. The steaks and the coconut shrimp appetizer were both very good, but at the end of the meal, we both agreed that we would have been just as satisfied at an Outback or similar restaurant for $50 as we were here for nearly $100. The steaks are good, but I feel it's overpriced, especially considering the casual atmosphere and exurb shopping center location. It reminded me a lot of Redstone, but without quite as much atmosphere. If the prices were not quite so high, I would be happy to come back here, but next time we want a steak and potatoes, we'll probably go elsewhere.

I've been to Firebirds for both drinks and also for lunch. The bar area has a good feel to it and there always seems to be good energy from staff and patrons. Overall the food is fine. Nothing really stands out, however, that makes it a destination restaurant. There are many other places serving up the same type of middle of the road food, but if you want it served in a nicely styled setting, I guess Firebirds is a safe bet.

My wife and I came here for dinner the other night with our two kids. A number of people have raved about the place, so we were really excited to try it out, but ultimately left disappointed. I got the filet while my wife had the filet and shrimp. The filets were good, but nothing special and didn't really melt in my mouth like other filet's I've had. Neither of us liked the shrimp that she got. I thought it was bland and my wife thought they were rubbery. My wife really liked the side salad that she got and we both enjoyed the bread before dinner. They do offer a decent kids menu, but neither of my kids ate that night. With no alcohol, no appetizers, no dessert, and a $10 coupon, it still cost me over $65! For what we paid, it just wasn't worth it. Atmosphere was nice and the service was good. They do offer call ahead seating and they do have limited outdoor seating. We will most likely not return.

Stopped by for lunch the other day and everything was amazing. The service was great and the food was tasty. I sat at the bar and the bartender made sure I had everything and anything I could possibly need during my time there. I tried the smoked wings which were out of this world and also the turkey club which used jalenpeno cornbread as its base I have no complaints about anything and I can't wait to go back to this place. The interior was very clean and trendy. I think this place will turn out to be great asset to the Providence Town Center. Kudos goes out to everyone who served, prepared, and cleaned up after my meal.

People are silly. If you have never been to a Firebirds before you will not understand the concept they are...simple, clean, pallet induced steakhouse. They use a wood fired grill that will naturally bring the salty flavor if it is good beef. The staff and restaurant is new and just like any new restaurant will have its speedups, so give it a chance to catch up to the pace and expectations of the North. My first experience was at the Firebirds in Charlotte in Ballentyne and to see that staff up here doing the training was a nostalgic treat? If you enjoy a modern twist on a fantastic steakhouse, you will fall in love with Firebirds. Ask for Lizzy at the Firebar!

Only open a sort time, but no problems with the food or the service. In fact the service was very good and the entire staff was pleasant and both managers stopped by to make sure the dish's were to our liking. Ok, so this isn't Capital Grill, but neither are the prices. The bread was freshly baked and they offered to bring more without being asked and the salads were fresh and had nice flavors. BBQ Chicken Salad was nice size and the dressing was tangy. The Fried Chicken Salad was basically chicken tenders on top of a chopped salad, The decor is very nice with a cool bar the way they display the bottles.

We love this place. We have been here every week since we discovered it about 2 months ago. We are afraid to tell people because we don't want our favorite place to be swamped with customers. The quality of meat is excellent. My favorite is the Delmonico with the mashed potatoes. The prime rib is also awesome. We were disappointed in the wings...way too salty. The service is excellent. The wait staff really knows the menu and create a very pleasant dining experience.

I have been to firebirds twice now, and had a good experience both times. First visit I had the kabobs I really liked the fact the veggies and meat were separated, also my steak was perfectly cooked. Second visit I had the bacon wrapped filet with blue cheese and mushrooms. very good, but could have used a little more mushrooms. I could tell my son enjoyed his ribs by how quickly they were gone. both times service was very good, although our wait time for our meals was a little longer than I thought it should be.

Me and my girlfriend ate here. The apps were good but the main entrees were cold and poorly prepared. The ribeye was cut too thin. I was disappointed.

I typically do not write many reviews but had to after having two bad experiences out of three. I honestly do not think that this place is managed well at all, which is a shame because the menu itself is fantastic. My first visit was during the first week it was opened and we sat in the bar area. My wife and I went and they were very busy, took over an hour to get the food and the fish my wife ordered was cold. We both checked this off to simple growing pains. The second meal we had there was actually very good and we sat in the regular seats. Then we went there on new years eve. They had balloons setup which was nice and it was less crowded than I expected. Since it's one of the few nicer restaurants in that center, I thought it would have been more crowded. We sat in the bar area and the waiter that we had was not the sharpest tool in the shed. He was screwing things up quite a bit, nothing major, but after about 4 screw ups, it was getting really old. He forgot one of the salads, was forgetting drink orders, and another waitress had to come out to verify what we actually ordered. On top of that, after our appetizers, it was over an hour till our dinner came out. I swear that our food had to have been sitting out for at least 30 minutes in the back as my steak was cold. I will probably give this place a try again, but management REALLY needs to get their act in order here.

Recommend. Warm, rich atmosphere. Inviting, friendly service. Delicious food. I had the filet, which was cooked well with a solid char. My server was very prompt and friendly. To level-set your expectations, Firebirds is not a high-end steakhouse. It is a warm and friendly local restaurant with an amazing decor. Prices are reasonable considering.

Four of us ate dinner here on a Friday evening after four days of cooking meals! We were immediately greeted a the front desk by four friendly and gorgeous young ladies! One of them promptly led us to our table in a very busy restaurant. Before long our server arrived with our menus (way too large....suggest more pages and smaller size) and asked if we had been there before. We had, so she proceeded to take our drink order. Three of us ask for conventional cocktails and one requested a glass of Malbec wine. That's where the fun began. After awhile she arrived with our order with three shakers that she proceeded to pour. Two two of them were the wrong drinks, She profusely appologized and said that she would have them corrected. To make a long story short, it took her three more visits to get them correct. To be fair, we feel that it was the bar that made the mistakes, not our server. Finally, we got the right drinks even though when the wine was delivered the runner stated "here is your shiriaz sir" even thought he had ordered Malbec. The food was not bad. The Firebird salad was ample and quite good. All of us requested the prime rib medium rare. It was medium rare but, excuse me, it was tough. The waffled sweet potatoes and french fries were quite good. Other than the well prepared sliced mushrooms, the other sides were quite ordinary, The service was spotty but we were in a festive mood so it didn't matter to us. Throughout the whole cocktail episode our server kept her cool and was genuinely apologetic for the confusion.

I first went to a Firebirds down in North Carolina. When I heard there was one in Collegeville I had to go. The food is really expensive but you can't beat the quality of the food! The service is really good!

I had a nice experience here except our server was less than friendly. After he found out that only one of us would be ordering food (the other was on a "liquid" diet), he became quite abrupt. Never mind that by the time we got our bill, my dining companion had drank as much as my dinner cost. Ambiance is nice & cozy - the manufactured wood smoke smell was a nice touch. I could see this as being a good happy hour spot too. My salmon was a little overcooked. I look forward to going back. Hopefully they'll work out the service issue.

Went for lunch. Poor draft beer selection. Food was average. Prices too high for the quality of food.

Wow. I heard good things about this place but I will never go here again. My friends lemonade refill took 15 minutes, 2 entrees were 10 after the rest, and they brought us 3 different tables dishes. This dinner was completely ruined. Never again.
