At the risk of oversimplifying things, I really missed having hot pepper spread on my burgers! I just grabbed a quick burger today, but friendly, efficient service is holding up well here.

We go to the Philadelphia Folk Festival and starting last year we have made Elevation Burger a tradition for our trip up and back. My one child is gluten free and enjoys their fries a lot. It is a great place to go that all of us can get something to eat and I know they are getting quality ingredients. I wish we had a location closer to us in Delaware. The staff has always been great even though I am sure on our way back after camping for a few days we must look a mess. Plenty of parking in the shopping center (even with a trailer).

Having grown up in California, In-n-Out is a staple to all Californians young and old. In-n-out is the go to spot after visiting destinations deprived of such greatness after a 10 day vacation Having said that, I would pick Elevation Burger over In-n-Out any day! Expensive, but you know that all their ingredients are cleaner and healthier! Fries are made in olive oil, beef is all organic, cheddar cheese is aged... ahh, perfection!

It is a fine place to grab a quick meal if you are right there in the shopping center. I had the chicken sandwich and thought $6.50 was at least $1 too much. The bread was fresh, chicken was good and I added carmelized onions. My fault I didn't add a sauce cauz It was a bit dry. Hubby enjoyed his burger. Small order of fries were very good. With one beverage our total cost added up to $16.69. The place is very clean, friendly servers, and a nice atmosphere.

I very much like this place, the burgers are great and I love the shakes. I wish they had American cheese but I get it, no processed stuff etc. Overall, I like it, I'll go again and again.

Better than 5 Guys! Most savory burger I've had in a long time and the vanilla malt shake was delicious!

After a morning out in Oaks, we stopped here for lunch before heading home on a Saturday. I'd never been, but knew they supposedly have decent veggie burgers, so I thought it would be a good, quick lunch. The place wasn't very crowded, and there was no line at all. I ordered the veggie burger 1 (there are two options), and added a couple of toppings. I appreciated the customization and the fact that there were two different veggie burgers for non-meat eaters. Our food (two burgers and a shared order of fries) came out very quickly, and we were both hungry, so the food didn't last long. My veggie burger was just ok - nothing fantastic, and I wish they had brown mustard for extra flavor instead of just yellow. The fries, cooked in olive oil, seemed a bit too heavy for me - they weren't light or crispy, despite being very thin. I didn't know Elevation had a socially-driven mission, but I enjoyed reading about their sustainability practices. Not sure if I'll be back soon, but it's a good option if you're in the area.

This burger joint is one of my favorites of all time and trust me I tried a lot of burger joints from a lot of different states, ranging from shake shack, burgerfi, smashburger and etc and this place is my all time favorite! The service is pretty good as the place isnt always packed and the food comes out on time. The food is delicious, I love the taste of the burger and the cheese. It might be a little greasy but what do you expect its a burger its not healthy, dont expect any burger to be "healthy". The fries are good as well, i like that they are very thin. another plus is the taste of the aged cheddar cheese is like no other, i can actually taste the age in it! all in all my favorite place to eat when im craving burgers.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Ok, it's grass fed organic (so is Chipotle...my point being that this certainly isn't the first place to go organic, grass fed). And I'll give it clean in terms of atmosphere. But the burger...for such a healthy burger, it sure was greasy. And it's two parties, but they're small. And I didn't feel like the burger had much flavor. I told the woman at the register that I'd take a regular burger (as opposed to a veggie burger) and instead, she rang me up a kiddie burger. Wrong. All in all, I'd call it average at best!

I don't like writing reviews about chains because once you've been to one, you in theory have been to all. Their differentiation ends up representing how well they execute the corporate process. Well, I'm not here to write about this aspect. This is the only Elevation Burger I've been to and I don't know how well this location stands up to others; however, I would like to write about the general experience and why this one (or any of the others) are worth patronizing. This is a fast food place that makes you feel good about eating an otherwise frequently bashed meal. Organic, grass-fed beef. Higher quality/gourmet-ish ingredients (hello! Aged cheddar, pleased to eat you!). Fries cooked in (ready?)...Bertolli olive oil! I KNOW all of this in great quantities still isn't good for me, but it takes some of the edge off. As long as you get what they dub the children's burger, AKA single patty, instead of the regular two and load it with a bunch of healthy ingredients, it feels...sort of...OK. If you're going to eat it anyway, why not eat organic beef with the omegas in it and olive oil instead of peanut oil? OK, they don't do anything to take the "edge" off their milkshakes, but let me tell you, the vanilla with Oreo is a dessert soo worth eating! I should mention we were watching an employee cut the fries in-store today. The fries here are shoestring style and very tasty. My only gripe is the bread they use. It is some kind of generic potato bread hamburger roll. They call this out and say it's deliberate so the bread doesn't overshadow the burger, but I think they achieved the opposite, in that the bread appears too weak and lackluster compared with all of the other shiny, gourmet-ish pieces. This location is next to RAZR bar in the Collegeville plaza. The restaurant is kept pretty clean. Has a sizeable dining room and a handful of tables outside. Service is decent. Last time I came they gave me a dry burger. When I came back and told them about it and asked the manager to comp my burger today, he gave me no trouble. This is good, thank you!

The food was good. Id say similar to five guys but with smaller portions of fries. If it was reasonably priced id give it 5 stars. My burger fries and soda come out to 15 dollars. Thats just way too much for a fast lunch. Chipotle has been wildly successful selling huge meals of fresh organic foods for under 10 dollars. Why does this place think they can get away with such a huge markup?

For my burger tastes, EB is just OK. If I am eating there it is most likely because someone else wanted to go, not because I'm drooling for an EB. I don't know what it is about the burgers that doesn't work for me like a Charlies or a Cheeburger burger. Not enough fat? Too much grass feeding? It just doesn't WOW me, the taste seems off. Actually, there is something I can tell you...I don't want Cheddar on my burger, I want American Cheese! But that is not what ruins the burger for me, its the beef. The texture is a bit gritty and I've had a bite of gristle a bit too often. Combine that with the high price and I'm coming in at 2 stars for EB. They do have some pluses tho! Good Shakes! Tubs of Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry Ice Cream. You can also add up to 2 free "toppings" such as banana, strawberry, Oreo, and a few others. I had the banana Oreo in my Chocolate shake today and it was REALLY good, but a bit tough to get thru the straw! f The fries are also good. Shoestring fries, cut in store and fried in Olive Oil. These are good! Warning: these fries won't travel well. If you are driving 15 minutes after you pickup your order your fries will be soggy. This has something to do with them being "real" and not overly processed fries that you can get at McDonalds...those babies stay crisp for days, but they were certainly not cut in the store! Veggie burger! They now have a veggie burger! I would never eat a veggie burger, but it's nice to know you could bring your veggie burger friend along with you! Always nice to have a veggie option for such occasions! Customer service here is pretty good too. It's an "order and sit down" type system, but they checked on us several times to make sure we were happy! Thanks, I appreciate it! So for me, it's just not my burger place. Fries and a shake, any day, but the burger...Meh...3 stars for this location tho, for the good shakes, fries, and customer service!

I like to consider myself something of a burger aficionado, so I obviously had to give Elevation Burger a try. The burger was very good. I'm not sure how its flavor stacks up against Shake Shack, Smashburger, etc., but that means that it holds its own. The fries are good. And, the soft drink selection brought a few pleasant surprises... I was excited to see a couple of Wild Bill's sodas on the soda fountain, and the orange cinnamon iced tea is delightful. The employees were also very pleasant, and the place was very clean. I'm ordinarily skeptical of claims of "all natural" foods, but, after eating a hefty bacon cheeseburger at Elevation, I couldn't help but notice (and I normally wouldn't notice) that I felt fantastic. None of the post-meal lethargy that often follows the consumption of a big hunk of beef. In fact, I was full out energized. I'm not one for the anti-growth hormone hype, or anything of that sort. I don't know what would make their burgers better than others. I'm half-inclined to chalk the good feeling up to a placebo effect. Do you get that when you don't expect any positive effect? Anyway, if there's such a thing as a healthy bacon cheeseburger, they might very well be the ones who have it.

For the longest time the world of burgers (as it pertained to Southeastern Pa) was split into two categories: Fast Food & Sit Down Restaurant. It was a simple time... an easier time, but the winds of change blew in and what they left behind was the was the bastard love child of a Wendy's and an Applebees known as Five Guys. People lost their ish over Five Guys. While I never took to the place I respected it sort of like I do a frontiersman. The first is rarely the best but it opened the door for places like Shake Shack, Burger Fi, and Elevation Burger. It's a lot like You Got Served. Was it the best flick? Absolutely not! But it paved the way for classics like Step Up, Stomp The Yard, and the straight to DVD gem You Got Served 2: Beat The Earth. So in a roundabout way because of Five Guys, boo and I found ourselves on a snowy Sunday evening standing at the counter at Elevation Burger preparing to order a nice little snack. EB had all the typical toppings you'd expect to find at a burger joint of this ilk with the addition of elevation sauce (more on that later). What sets EB apart from some of the others is their attention to whole foods and environmental sustainability. Beyond grass fed beef and organically "clean" cheese the building itself is designed for energy efficiency. I can appreciate all of these things ...as long as the food is up to par, and for the most part it is. We both ordered the basic double cheese burgers with various toppings. There was only one other couple in the place and food came out in about 5 minutes which always a plus. We both ordered elevation sauce however neither of us got any and boo ordered grilled onions which were missing as well. The good part about the missing ingredients is that it leaves us with a little mystery about just what was this elusive elevation sauce all about?? The bad part about it is that the joint was about as slow as it could get and they still managed to leave stuff off the burgers, c'mon son! Still, what we did receive was hot, cheesy, juicy, and satisfying however it wasn't going to win any awards at the Annual Lower Providence Burger Cook-Off (completely made up so don't try to enter). If I come across an EB and I'm hungry I certainly would have no problem hitting it up, however I was expecting more out of this last experience.

My husband and I were so excited to visit Elevation Burger to try their organic grass fed Halal burgers. Disappointed to see them offering sodas and Blue Bunny ice cream (filled with artificial flavors and against their know your food campaign). I would have liked to see some healthier drink and dessert options. Aside from that, the burger itself was delicious! I substituted lettuce for a bun and it was wrapped perfectly. French fries are cooked in olive oil and taste fresh. They lack condiments -- they don't have malt vinegar and barbecue sauce here. Usually after burger meals I feel bloated and lethargic however my meal at Elevation did not produce those symptoms. Great location in the outdoor shopping mall makes it a convenient quick stop for lunch or dinner while on the go and won't make you tired!

Have eaten there several times - grass fed beef=a dry burger. Fries are average at best. Tries to be a socially conscious version of 5 Guys. Well, when I want a burger and fries I am not worried about it being politically correct, I want it to be juicy and tasty. Also menu is overpriced for quality of food (notice I said quality of food, not quality of ingredients). I'll take 5 Guys every time.

  • Lauren M.

I've been here a few times and every time it is fantastic. They pride themselves in using high quality and organic ingredients and it makes a difference. The menu is comparable to what you find at five guys burgers and fries, but the quality sets them apart. The burger itself is flavorful and juicy without being overly greasy. The bun is a good size and doesn't over power the burger. The fries are thin and crispy which I personally prefer to big steak fries. In addition to the regular menu they also carry grapes and mandarin oranges available as sides. They also have an excellent selection of non alcoholic beverages. I loves these options since I'm not a big soda drinker and I have young kids. They even carry a healthy variety of juice pouches for kids. Since the burgers come with two patties I normally just get one regular sized burger and split it between my two kids instead of buying two kid burgers. Everything is order a la carte which can add up pretty quickly. I typically spend as much here as I would at red robin but tips aren't required so it ends up costing a little less.

Good, not great. Love that the beef is grass feed organic. Wish more places offered this. I will pay more for better quality. Burgers are good. Fries are okay, but they are thinner than I prefer. I love meaty fries, and that is just my preference, some people may like the thinner style better. Sometimes there is a long wait depending on time of day. I get annoyed when I have to wait more than 15 minutes after ordering at a counter joint. Overall, good, but I don't go out of my way to stop by.

This place puts all East Coast, fast-casual burger chains to shame (In-and-Out, you still reign supreme). The service is flawless, which is such a breath of fresh air at a burger joint. The burgers are good, but not overwhelmingly so, but elevation sauce elevates as advertised. It's like a pickley, slightly spicy, mayo concoction that I quite like with fries too. The fries are above average, but the real stars are the milkshakes! I haven't had TWO (we split them) perfect shakes in a long time. The oreo shake was perfectly mixed, not too thin and not thick, while the oreo cheesecake shake was all together new in flavor profile. Kudos for the extra wide straws. A little pricey, but well worth a stop. I'd come here just for dessert alone.

Based on pictures, I decided to give this place a try because it reminds me of how In-N-Out and White Castle presents their burgers, however this visit was thoroughly disappointing. I had the elevation burger and despite claims of being grass-fed beef, i found that the burger lacked significantly in flavor. I was also disappointed with the elevation sauce, the restaurant's signature sauce was comparable to big mac sauce but watered down and also lacking flavor. I will give this place 2 stars because the hand-cut fries were pretty tasty. Otherwise the burger gets 1 star. Red Robin is across the street and makes a far better burger.

Love this place. Love the cinnamon orange unsweetened tea. I would go there just for that. The staff is always friendly and busy bussing the tables.

Before we go anywhere, I'm just going to say that this place won't get 5 stars from me because in the end, the price point for a burger with toppings winds up too high. I'm in agreement with previous reviewers on that. It seems to me like they make the real money on topping your burger. Now, that being said, boy I really liked what I ate here. Of course, me wanting bacon, cheese, and mushrooms on my burger meant I was getting a burger that cost 8 bucks and some change. Hindsight being 20/20 I actually could have done without the bacon and saved $1.59 , as the burger with the cheese was tasty enough without it. The fries aren't better than Five Guys, but they're pretty good. My wife got a shake which I tasted, and there wasn't a damn thing wrong with it. Gang, let me tell you... those cookies they serve are the real deal. I read that the CEO of the company created that recipe, and he had been trying since he was 16 to perfect the cookie recipe. I can't describe them. They really are as good as people say they are. Plus, you know after you eat a double cheeseburger and fries with something for dessert at a lot of places, and you leave there feeling awful, like there's a lump in your stomach? That didn't happen here. I left feeling pretty good. Maybe there is something to the organic ingredients. In the end, it's a burger, and eating too many of them is never good for you. But if you're going to splurge, it may be better to splurge on a place like this that won't leave you feeling like your stomach is a grease pit.

I wish I could review the food here, but we never even got that far. First off - THEE noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. It would have been quieter eating on an airport tarmac. I can never understand how that doesn't bother more people, but I find it very difficult myself to sit and comfortably eat a meal in such a horrendously loud environment. Conversation? Not a chance. But it was a really nice day outside, so our original plan was to grab one of the outside tables. So, with one customer ahead of us, we stood for 8 min waiting to order. Now, this one customer was a man with 3 young kids, so of course we do realize that getting an order together for a group like that does take some extra time. So we patiently waited......and waited. Then it was finally our turn - the cashier walked right past us and started taking the order for the 2 people that came in behind us like 1 min before. I said "excuse me" to try to get the cashier's attention.....than "EXCUSE ME" a bit louder.....but to no avail. As like I said, it was so un-godly noisy, he couldn't even hear me, unless I had literally screamed, and I wasn't about to resort to that. So my wife says "let's get out of here. This place is a joke" and we went across the lot to Red Robbin.....which was an outstanding burger, BTW. Our first time there also. Anyway, from the numerous other reviews I've read on the food, doesn't sound like we missed much anyway - excessively greasy burgers on standard garbage fast food buns and soggy fries are not something I would have gotten overly excited about anyway. For the kind of $$ I see them charging for a burger, it should be served on a "real" bakery roll. Not somthing from Wonder Bread that I can pick up at the nearest supermarket. Disgusting.

If you really want a juicy, wholesome, burger without all the carbs and fat, take my advice and run, don't walk to Elevation Burger! I always order it with a lettuce wrap (I'm mostly gluten free) with tomato, raw onions, elevation sauce and most times indulge with the cheddar cheese. Yum! I'm drooling as I write this. Without the extra carbs of the bun, ordering the crispy fries done in olive oil, I never feel bloated or uncomfortably full. I've never tried anything else -- the Elevation Burger (or kids version - 1 patty) & french fries (shared) is a perfect meal after a long hike! Go! It is a little loud in here and cold, but what the heck! Staff is friendly and it's always clean.

I'm not sure who Elevation Burger wants to compete with, but I can't help but try to compare it to other burger joints. It compares mostly favorably to Five Guys, and it is in the same price range, possibly lower, which makes me wonder whether they will survive. First, they have a nice interior, it is much more restaurant-like than Five Guys. After you order, you sit down and they bring you your food. Second, their main ingredient, beef, is organic and grass-fed. Much more expensive than regular beef. And much tastier, by the way. Third, they seem to have more staff than they need. So their profit margins must be slim. I ordered a cheesburger with fries. You can select from several toppings just like Five Guys. I had caramelized onions. Yum. The burger was incredibly tasty and juicy and a bit greasy. I like greasy. The fries were matchstick, which I do not prefer. They are harder to eat and since they have more surface area, they have more oil. They are cooked in olive oil, which is ok. They were cooked nicely. The service was ok, but the people seemed to be not very happy. At Five Guys, they are always loud and friendly. The only thing about this place that will bring be back is the actual burger itself, and that is enough.

I love burgers. There, I said it. They complete me. When I die, in lieu of a coffin, Id like to be placed between 2 sesame seed buns and a crisp piece of lettuce and be dropped into a great apes habitat. Elevation Burger has been on my radar for quite some time but I rarely am in the area to try it. While making another pilgrimage to Movie Tavern last week, I noticed an E Burger so I decided to give it a try.Since I was going to Movie Tavern, I decided to just get a burger a la carte, so I can only review the burger here. I got the Elevation burger ( 2 patties) with cheese, bacon and raw onion. Total came to about $9." It better be good", I thought. The verdict... It was very good. meat was hot and juicy, the slab of cheddar was one of the best cheeses on a burger that I can remember. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it...but not $9 enjoyed it. I can get a similarly good burger at Ruby Tuesday for the same price that includes fries. I was also a little disappointed that , with a great selection of sodas, cream and black cherry weren't available. Elevation Burger falls into the category of a special treat place, as opposed to a regular haunt. I'm still thinking about that slice of sharp cheddar on that burger. Go ahead and add that to my funeral wishes. I think the apes will really appreciate it.

Wow what a surprise! Organic, grass-fed burgers and food at a chain burger joint? Who knew? So refreshing to see and I was hopeful it would be good...it was delicious!!! Had a bacon cheddar cheeseburger with caramelized onions, fries cooked in olive oil and natural birch beer soda. Can't rave enough about this place! My buddy ate his burger in three bites!!! Loved it!!! And these burgers are larger than average. Wish they had one in the Boston area.

My favorite upscale-chain burger joint. Definitively better than 5 Guys. Elevation Burger really does have better ingredients and unlike 5 Guys, I can get two or more burgers without the staff totally getting my order wrong. I usually go with the 2 patties with that amazingly thick and tasty cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. I keep it simple. Maybe some jalapenos. I had a malt once and really liked it; however I prefer to drink shakes as opposed to using a spoon, maybe that is just personal preference. I have tried the fries and they are great. I love how thin they are compared to most other fresh cut fries. The service could be a bit faster, but I have never left disappointed.

This place is a testament to the human spirit in regards to transcendental cuisine. Everything about eBurger (I went there) works. The bright, cheerful décor. The ordering process that never, ever results in a long wait. The employees. They must screen their applicants for maturity because they seem to exclusively hire young people and yet I have never had a complaint. I get all my burgers wrapped in lettuce with Elevation Sauce, the composition of which I have no idea. It's like a type of heavenly pickle-mayo. The combination of all of the above, coupled with their using only the freshest ingredients, makes for a truly epic experience. Believe me when I say that I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and not be disappointed or bored. No restaurant is perfect, however. I suppose it comes with the location and it being an upscale burger joint, but the prices are high. If you have the means I highly recommend it, but I haven't been able to eat there in a long time due to other financial obligations like rent and my children. It's truly worth it for a splurge, however.

As a humaneitarian, it can be very hard to find meat dishes that I can order at restaurants and one of the things I miss the most is a good burger. This makes me appreciate places like Elevation Burger even more. They have both humane meat and vegetarian options available and both are super tasty. Their toppings are varied and delicious and the ordering process is quick and efficient. Oh, and the fries? Delicious! So glad to have this place somewhat close and in such a convenient location!

This burger franchise appears to be trying to fill a niche of "Five Guys but somewhat healthier and more sustainable." Whether it adequately fills this niche is an open question but I like that someone is trying. The burger I had was good but nothing to write home about. The fries were also fine but as others have pointed out using olive oil is a questionable choice healthwise. However, they get some points for veggie, vegan, and low-carb/gluten (they offer a lettuce wrap substitute for a bun) options.

Organic, fresh food, happy that they have a vegan burger option. Fries are thin and stringy, though.

Maybe I need to give this place another try... with stepson. Wife was APPALLED at the prices there-- and I can't blame her, with Red Robin across the parking lot. Really nice ideas, but VALUE is still goal#1 for us humble customers. Maybe move down to the Main Line where $27 for two burgers ain't no big deal. Pass the Grey Poupon, bro...

this place is awesome! i went all-out on this meal...got the veggie burger #1 loaded with tons of fresh toppings (though they forgot my jalapenos). it was delicious, perfectly warm throughout and good sized. the fries were nice and tasty but i don't think they were even needed. also got a milkshake which is something i never do! i got vanilla with mango and banana, it was delicious and i ate/drank it all! the service was nice and everything was clean and well maintained. i can't wait to go back, prob get a burger and shake again!

This place is a competitor to 5 guys burger. A competitor like the ugly fat girl that thinks she's just as good looking as the captain of the cheerleading squad, but just a little less skanky. I'm not a huge fan of this place. The special sauce is meh at best. The burgers are somewhat dry. I tried it protein style or whatever it's called with just lettuce and it was flavorless and dry. I've had it with bread, which makes it better. Maybe the bread has more grease or catches more grease to add flavor. You do get a lot of fries. They are thin and sickly looking. Almost cooked to a crisp and the best part of this location is, they assume everyone orders fries. So if you want to play the odds, you can just skip ordering and you may get a free order. Or if someone in your party orders, you have an even higher chance of getting free fries. Everyone loves free fries. Oh, for first time check ins with foursquare you get a free 3 pack of mini cookies. Those cookies were freaking delicious. that's why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Those cookies. I love cookies.

I like the organic part but $40 for 2 decently good burgers ? Not worth it. With Red Robin coming in across the street I don't see this business lasting much longer unless they drop their prices.

I wanted to like Elevation. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The cows (I imagine) were happy cows that frolicked in a field and listened to cool music. They offer milkshakes, which are the achilles heel for Five Guys, IMO. BUT... the burger was dry. Plain and simple dry. Grass fed has less fat, people. Learn to cook the thing properly, please? I assume this may have been an anomaly, but there is little grey area when it comes to a burger joint improperly cooking a burger. You cook hundreds a day, and you know when you have cooked one too long. Shame on you for trying to feed me it. Fries cooked in olive oil are healthier for me, right? No thanks, save the healthy and give me thicker cut fries with more flavor than a napkin! Maybe some folks like the shoesting fries. I find them less appealing. To each their own.. but you all know I am right.

I've been meaning to write a review on this place for a while now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The fries are cooked with olive oil so I feel healthier...tho they are shoe string size not meaty but that's how I like 'em. Also, did you know they use some special ingredients here? The meat and cheese are part of the green movement so you feel good about eating here. I think they use cheddar cheese, which makes the burger taste so gourmet. Make sure to get one of the stamped cards because you get a free patty after 6 or 7 stamps. I've only had the single patty burgers and the fries, but it's nice because you get to choose your preferred toppings. I've yet to try the milkshakes but when it gets warmer I am def going to stop by for one. I love the decor with bamboo floor and tables. The staff, mostly kids, are so friendly and nice to be around. The lines are fast and efficient. I would give the customer service a million stars if I could. This is the prime example of stellar customer service that would keep me coming back again and again.

The food is great and so is the service. My only concern is the customer with nothing on her feet. Shoes should worn in all places that serve food. Non of the employees said anything to her.

This has got to be one of the worst burgers I have ever had to try and force down my throat. I think cardboard may have been more edible then this. Add in that their elevation sauce is pretty much tasteless and it turns your lettuce wrapped burger into a huge dripping mess. The fries weren't even great. The only thing good here was the awesome service, but that still isn't a reason to visit them.

Organic halal cheeseburger, what could one ask more than that?

I am not a true believer in this "healthy option" of a burger. This burger is greasier than my Italian hair-do as a teenager! The amount of grease cannot be good; I truly believe you get less grease in a cheesesteak. Now I am not an organic food maniac, however I do enjoy the ability to eat healthier. The thing I like about Elevation Burger is that the food is very delicious and has a unique taste to it. The beef tastes like organic grass fed beef (yes it tastes different than your typical 80-20 blend). Anyone that cooks with grass-fed beef will admit that it will not hold up well for burgers, it simply falls apart too easily (because there isn't any fat in it). In order to keep a burger patty together, some type of fat must be added, I usually will only make chili or tacos with my grass fed beef. With that being said, I couldn't locate any information that Elevation Burger adds fat to their patties (olive oil is a fat; people). Just look at the wrapper or plate after you complete your next Elevation Burger, and I am sure you will see what I am talking about. I feel they aren't telling their consumers everything, this scares me. Ultimately this is why I marked my review this way, because I feel like they could explain why their "healthy" burgers discharge so much grease. I know the fries are made in olive oil, and my assumption is the burgers are made this way too. I really would hope that someone that has power at Elevation Burger would clarify why the grease is overwhelming on their burgers. Take or leave my speculations, let's look at this burger. The cheddar cheese tastes like something you get from a high end cheese shop, it is sharp and tastes like it is aged more than some of the children working behind the counter. The burgers are a must try, I like the fact that everything is fresh (organic is a plus). I believe that I am guilty like many other Americans for eating processed foods too often. I like pickles on my burger and these slices are huge, which is awesome. One good thing is they added bacon to their menu, before this I would actually go elsewhere since bacon is a standard option for a burger. I did try the bacon on my burger for the first time, and it is just as flavorful as the rest of the ingredients, I do think it could have been a bit crispier. Also I thought $1.59 to add bacon (2 small strips) to my sandwich was a bit steep, and I am still debating if it is worth it. The french fries are nothing to write home about; however they allow you to top your fries with any of the burger toppings. Sounds neat, but in reality cheese fries made from a slice of cheese is like putting hub caps on a Porsche. YOU NEED A CHEESE SAUCE PEOPLE!!!! Therefore the only topping that I would see fit is ketchup, and yes you will need it. The fries are definitely cut on site, but are about as greasy as the burger. If they had salt and vinegar or a cheese sauce I would be in heaven (in more ways than one). One thing I think everyone should experience at Elevation Burger is these cookies at the register. These little clumps of cookie dough/oatmeal/chocolate chips are fantastic. I wish they sold these things by the case. My opinion is skipping the fries and grab the cookies. Another thing they offer is milkshakes and ice cream, this is awesome and if you read any other of my reviews, I think it is an essential for a burger joint. Unfortunately, I haven't tried either of these here, I believe the reason to blame is a kiwi in the same shopping center. I really do want to give Elevation Burger a 4 or a 5 star review, but I just can't for the following reasons (recap): 1) Why are these "healthier" burgers greasier than a typical fast food burger? 2) Not a fan of the fries. 3) Bacon shouldn't be more than $1.25.

Alright, I owe Elevation Burger a huge apology. Yes, they made a horrible first (and second, and third) impression on me, but now that they have some experience under their belt, they are rockin' out some of the best burgers, fries, (among other things) out there. Of course, I try to stay away from Elevation Burger for health reasons (since burgers and fries isn't exactly something i want to be filling myself with) but Elevation Burger has now become the go-to place when I want to treat myself to a good burger and fries. The fries, yes, the fries...how they have grown on me. They are mouth-watering marvels, those little fries. And the burgers are finally coming out consistent for me. Perfectly cooked now, not oozing blood like they were in my previous experiences. Elevation Burger still needs to find a way to keep take-out orders hot. Even 5 minutes after leaving the place, you'll need to nuke it in the microwave if you want it to be ready for prime time at home. I'm guessing this has something to do with not wanting to generate more waste. Have you tried the cookies and milkshakes? Good grief, I promise that I do not intend on making you gain 150 pounds after you visit this place, but you must also try the cookies and milkshakes. The cookies are this variation on the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, they are the softest, most moist, decadently indulgent little chocolate-laced shockwaves you could hope to put in your mouth. And the milkshakes are done the old-fashioned way, they are so good. My wife surprised me one night by bringing a chocolate milkshake home to me from Elevation Burger. It was so good, so rich, and I was touched by her thoughtfulness (though I did briefly ponder if she was trying to kill me with heart disease). I'm wrapping up this update now, just wanted to let you know that I've had a huge change of heart with this place.

Like their logo says, come here when you're in that "ingredients matter" mode. You will pay more to enjoy a relatively guilt-free burger. I like being able to custom build my burger. If it was less expensive, I would probably make it my go-to place for burgers. For the prices they charge, I would rather go to Five Guys.

Elevation burger's philosophy is to use quality ingredients such as organic, grass-fed, free-range beef and vegan / vegetable burgers. The elevation burger (double cheeseburger) that I tried was good and mildly juicy, but the well done patties make it a small step above Five Guys. Would have preferred a medium or medium rare option. Fries are similar to matchstick fries and were tasty and made in small batches. Vegetarian burger was OK. Shakes are supposed to be good. And when will burger places learn to offer a fried egg as a topping?

I went here for lunch one day recently with my boyfriend and his parents. I like that the beef is organic, and they are a green company. However the food was crazy greasy. They're burgers and fries. They're supposed to be greasy, I know. But I actually didn't feel well after eating here, and grease is my friend. The food was tasty, and no one else felt like I did, so maybe it was just me. Overall, I'd be willing to give it another go because I think the company has a great mission, but I'm a little weary.

We got the standard double patty elevation burger with fries. The fries were very fresh and tasted great, however they were considerably thin. The burger was delicious, very fresh. It tasted as good and as healthy as they claim it is. Grass fed, organic, free range and halal meat. It was very soft and well cooked. I would like them to put a sign in the window clearly state that the food was halal. I was surprised that the restaurant is a chain. The service was great, the "waiter" asked us how our food was at appropriate times(not incessantly). He was relatively friendly as well. The cost was high(5.49) for a good sized burger with two patties and 4.99 for a kids burger with one patty. The 6 month aged cheddar cheese costs fifty cents extra and they put a lot on. They offer a good amount of other pretty standard condiments. "Elevation sauce" is also an option, which is a tomato based tangy sauce that tastes like it had mayonnaise and relish. Overall, I we had a great experience eating here and we are likely to return.

Solid cheeseburger. Great taste, but I made the mistake of getting the hot pepper relish which really dominated the flavor. It's possible that the elevation sauce contributed to the vinegary flavor, but my hungry far outweighed my curiosity and the burger only existed for a minute. Good fries, but mine were VERY SALTY. Not very crisp, but certainly not undercooked or limp. Did I eat every last fry? Of course I did, but my mouth has a sodium hangover. Good competition for 5 Guys. I'll be happy if Elevation Burger does well. It's nice to have another dependable burger joint in the area.

It's kind of like Five Guys and Shake Shack had a baby. But it's better than Five Guys, but still not as god as Shake Shack. I ordered a kids (single) cheeseburger. The burger was very good. My only complaint is the toppings didn't stay in very well. My pickles and tomatoes were sliding all over. The fries were better than Five Guys. The fries are fresh/hand cut, but they're smaller than the typical fresh cut fry. Very good!

  • Clarisse B.

The burgers are very good here. You have a nice selection of toppings, not an overwhelming amount like some burger joints. There is only one type of cheese they use - but it is a good melty cheddar that compliments the burgers well. Nice thick slices of bacon to add too. They offer a veggie burger, your burger wrapped in lettuce and also a grilled cheese sandwich. Hand dipped, old fashion thick milkshakes and fresh cut french fries too add to your meal. Simple, fresh, organic "fast" food. You can't go wrong. Go!

This is my seven year old son's favorite place to eat! The fries are fresh, hamburgers are fantastic and he instead of the bun you can get it wrapped in lettuce. Highly recommended the best burger place in town!

Totally disappointed with this place. will not be back. I LOVE Five Guys, so I thought that Elevation Burger would be just as good, if not better, because they boast about how much better their burgers are and their healthier options. Well, I didn't really go for a healthy option, I got the Elevation Burger, with just lettuce. First of all the girl at the counter was totally disinterested and couldn't deal with the fact that me and my boyfriend were trying to decide what we wanted. She actually SIGHED at us for taking too long. I also got french fries with cheese. So the burger.....was disgusting! There was so much grease dripping from the burger the entire wrapper was see through, and the bottom of the bun was saturated in grease. It wasn't even in the top 10 best burgers I've ever had (top goes to Bobby's Burger Palace). The fries were delicious, but I ended up eating my boyfriend's plain fries because the cheese was a handful of shredding cheese thrown on top of the fries, barely melted into a big blob into the middle of the fries. Seriously, just go to Five Guys!

Probably my favorite semi chain burger joint, easily a notch above 5 Guys who most east coast burger enthusiasts will compare them to. Elevation Burger really does have better ingredients and unlike 5 Guys, I can get two or more burgers without the staff totally getting my order wrong. But enough about 5 guys... I usually go with the caramelized onions and hot pepper relish, along with cheddar cheese, now that is a tasty burger! As a non soda drinker, I really enjoy the orange cinnamon iced tea, although I have been tempted by the root beer, made with real cane sugar. I did try a shake once and it was a bit thick, but very good overall. I prefer to drink shakes as opposed to using a spoon, maybe that is just personal preference. I have tried the fries and they are great. I love how thin they are compared to most other fresh cut fries. The service could be a bit faster, but I have never left disappointed.

  • Clay B.

Burgers are good but the bun could use an upgrade. Fries are especially good as well. I like the variety of drink options and their cinnamon orange tea is uniquely awesome. Staff is a little untrained. The young girl working the counter scooted me aside from the fountain drink machine so she could grab something out of the cabinets below. Not proper etiquette but they're all young employees. Also, the place is usually a little too busy during lunch hours.

Awesome burgers. Took off a star because they don't offer anything other than beef or veggie burgers. And the lack of sweet potato fries... really guys? Get some game meat on the menu with some sweet potatoes. Highly recommended even if the selection is unreasonably limited.

  • Michael R.

Went in with a couple of friends and found that it was quite decent. The burgers are less dry than what I've had at 5 guys. (The service was faster, too.) There IS such a thing as grass fed designation. If you've ever seen a corn-fed lot with thousands of cattle crammed into it, you would definitely remember! The grass fed "guys" (steers, not Holstein cows like the Chick-Filet mascots) run on an open range eating a variety of grasses, like nature intended, not force fed in lots on corn, which causes all sorts of digestive problems for "cows" aka cattle. Still, the destination for all such designated bovines is eventually the same. One can only hope that the final product won't be sacrificed, yet again, on the alter of overdoneness.

Way over priced and way under seasoned! I know that it's all organic farm fresh better for you but the burgers were tasteless but if I can't taste anything what's the point. Five Guys please set up shop right next to this place and put it out of it's misery.

This place is a disaster. It's too many kids working here and not enough supervision. I placed a phone order, paid on arrival, sat for 20 minutes and lo and behold my order had been sitting in a bag getting cold. The manager offered coupons for a return visit but that doesn't help when you're sitting with hungry children. Elevation is the only place we go for take out burgers. Our first visit was National Harbor and we generally go to Wynnewood. Unfortunately we will have to return to Collegeville to use the coupons. Maybe the experience will be better.

Pretty much what you've come to expect from an alternative burger joint - read not McDonald's or Burger King. A handful of tasty toppings to have put on your burger and service that is fast and friendly. The burgers are delicious and extremely juicy which makes them messy to eat but it is definitely worth it. The only downer is that having the fries cooked in olive oil just doesn't work for me. They don't quite taste like I expect fries to taste so I guess even though I know it's healthier, I'm just too used to them being cooked in corn or vegetable oil. My only serious critique of the menu is that they don't have sauteed mushrooms as a burger topping. Are you kidding me!?! Bamboo floors and tables is an interesting design layout that gives the restaurant a unique feel for fast food. I'm happy to support the organic, free-range, grass fed, etc. initiative but to tell you the truth, once the meat has been grilled and slathered with cheese and other yummy items I'm not sure I can tell the difference between grass fed, organic beef and beef that came from a huge corporate farm like you see in animal exploitation films. So I just hope I truly am getting getting what they say they're selling. Yes, I'm a cynic.

I really found this place to be quite delicious! We got the Elevation burger wrapped in lettuce since we are on the no wheat bandwagon... The food was good. Not in-n-out or anything, but good nonetheless. Also, the beef was all grass-fed organic and the rest of the food is sourced from organic ingredients also. Their tag is "ingredients matter". We enjoyed the food. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the milkshakes were great as well. Also, they had a Yelp checkin offer...

  • Deborah R.

My daughter and I got the cheeseburger. They were fresh, moist and delicious. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the pickle was the long, slender "stackers" type. The fries were good and hand cut, but would have been better if they were crispier. We ran into friends and they had the milkshakes which they proclaimed to be delicious. We will be back to try them! Lots of toppings from which to choose;I believe they even have a veggie burger. A nicer, somewhat healthier fast food option.

Elevation Burger is an attempt at an east coast In-N-Out Burger. Doesn't come close. The food isnt bad, and they even have an iphone app to place your order, which I tried and my order was ready upon arrival. 3 stars because their food isn't bad, its actually good. But they come nowhere near as good as In-N-Out Burger. Not even close. You can order something up to like 10 patties on a burger. Next time I'm going to order a 10 patty bohemoth burger and a diet coke.

This burger place has popped up in the same complex as the Collegeville Wegmans. We heard they had veggie burgers so we decided to give it a try. My fiance and I both got the regular veggie burger (not the vegan one) with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato and cheese. The burger itself wasn't anything to write home about but I give them props for using high quality ingredients for the toppings. We decided that next time we will try the vegan burger and we will be more adventurous with the toppings. The friendly customer service was surprising. I low expectations for a burger joint. Someone even came over and asked us how our food was. Nice!

Only giving 3 stars because of the service. The employees were all smiles and very friendly. They were constantly walking around, wiping tables, asking customers if they were OK, and just generally keeping themselves busy. Which is unusual for a place these days run by teens. I was actually impressed that no one was standing around being a slacker. Sheesh....I'm def getting old. The food? Well, 2 burgers, fries, a soda and a milkshake was $20. My burger was good, albeit on the greasy side, and the real cheddar slice was a nice addition. But, it wasn't all that much better than what you'd get from 5 Guys and the like. A little tastier, but not by much. Fries were the shoestring style and not crisp at all. A little limp to be honest and LOADED with salt. However, my biggest "beef" with the joint was my milkshake. For $4, the least you can do is fill the cup near the top. Mine was a hair over 1/2 full of milky shakey goodness. Not cool, not cool at all. This coupled with the pathetic fries is why I'm not a happy camper right now. That and when you leave a place after eating a double cheeseburger, shake and some fries you shouldn't feel hungry. But both me and my buttercup were. Should have gotten burritos like we originally wanted. If your shopping at Wegmans, Best Buy or any of the other places up there I would probably pass on this place. You could go to the Pub inside Wegmans and for the same price have a much better meal. Lesson learned...

I have seen the signs for elevation burger for quite a while so I was looking for an excuse to go and took my kids today. The cashier was great, she even gave me a free kid's drink when my son changed his mind after we had already paid. I had an elevation burger with mushrooms and bacon and the kids had grilled cheese with cheddar. We also got 3 small oatmeal pecan chocolate chip cookies and fountain drinks. The root beer, which I'm assuming has no HFC, was too sweet and kind of gross - my kid who loves root beer wouldn't drink it. They did have orange soda which was a nice treat; my son who usually has water, asked for it but didn't finish it, but I did. All was great until the food showed up. Holy grease! The paper wrappers were soaked and the grilled cheeses were an ugly, runny mess with what looked like grilled beef bits stuck in the bread. Ironically, my burger had 2 slices of ice cold cheese on it. And it too was soaked in grease. My son ate his sandwich without complaint; the other kids took one bite and were done. I ate my burger but the grease was overwhelming and cold cheese made the sandwich less than. Then there was the bun which tasted like something one could purchase at any supermarket and the fried patties which didn't even taste as good as what I cook at home. The patties were tender but that's where the good things end. I had a cookie and it was tasty but also tasted like it hadn't been baked - had a raw texture to it which wasn't really expected or totally loved. I told the nice cashier about how greasy the food was when she asked how we liked it and she gave me some riff about organic, free range, blah, blah, blah. I went there to try a new burger joint - if the burger sucks, I won't be back. And the burger sucked. She tried to compare it to Five Guys, which I love, and I told her the Elevation burger was way greasier. It was even greasier than Nifty Fify's - which I love, but always puts me in a grease coma afterwards, and their buns taste much better. Sorry Elevation Burger, but all that organic, sustainable stuff doesn't mean a thing if the food isn't good.

I came in with the two kids I babysit for and was really excited to try a new burger joint. This place has many options for toppings and is organic. The setting is kid friendly and the decor fits the environment. The kids and I sat at our table until we were called for our order. I was impressed with my tasty burger and above all the friendliness of the server. My kiddos decided to play a little prank and the server went along with it. I will definitely be back!

It's a burger joint. Similar to every other burger joint in the universe. They do use organic & free-range ingredients, though, which is pretty cool. The burger I had was good, and the fries were delicious. I've heard they have good shakes, but the price deterred me from getting one. They're almost as expensive as their burgers ($4, if I remember correctly). There's only one bad thing about Elevation Burger: I don't know if I just went at an abnormally busy time, but they didn't have enough seating for everyone.

I orderd a veggie burger #2. It was so flavorful and delicious. I just got ketchup because I'm annoyingly picky about stuff on my burgers. I really appreciate that the fries are made using olive oil. They were good, I wasn't blown away, but tasty. The service was nice and fast. I'll definitely be going back again.

Elevation Burger uses grass smoking cows in their burgers. I mean grass fed cows. Best burger? No. Best burger for you? Might be. Despite all the natural ingredients an elevation burger and fries will rank a little below 1000 calories, so its not the fountain of youth. I had an elevation burger and dem skinny fries. Though people criticize the burgers as greasy it's a kinder gentler type of grease than a Five-guy's burger. The fries are deep fried in olive oil instead of vegetable oil. The fries are a smaller twiggy size than your average fries on the street. However, I applaud Elevation Burger for its commitment to using natural ingredients.

Decent quality burger joint. They use real cheddar cheese, and it makes such a difference. Get a cheeseburger, you will not be disappointed! The fries are also unique, thin cut and crispy - I liked them. I will be back.

My new favorite burger joint! The first time I went, was trying to be healthy, so I ordered the Veggie Burger #1, which is the non-vegan option and it was actually really tasty. There was some cheese (I think Mozzarella?) embedded in the actual burger which gave it some extra savory-ness. Next time, I would probably add a slice of cheddar to make it even better. The side salad, although it was very fresh, it was basically only iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato. I would have preferred some field greens and perhaps some cucumbers or shredded carrots. Oh well, they're not known for their salads I'm guessing! The second time I went I was not trying to be healthy and I enjoyed my meal much more...go figure. I ordered the Cheeseburger and a side of fries. Wow. It was fantastic. Many places I go, the burgers are really greasy...not here. The burger was flavorful, just the right amount of juicy-ness, with fresh toppings and a generous slice of real cheddar cheese. The fries were shoe-string style, house-cut, like boardwalk fries, but the best part is that they are fried in olive oil! Really good. The service was nice too. Every employee had a smile on their face and seemed to care that the place did well. My favorite part is the grass-fed, organic, free-range, ground on premises beef. It's about time! Being an animal lover and a tree-hugger, I have always struggled with my meat eating tendencies. Now, I can eat the burger and feel less guilty! I really hope this place catches on. ...I have no idea why people are complaining about the price...$3.99 is pretty cheap to me.

Burger joints are poppin up everywhere with each trying to differentiate themselves.. Elevation Burgers is no different. Their take on differentiation seems to be on being Eco-friendly and using organic ingredients. While it's great to be Eco-friendly, tasty burgers is what sets a burger place apart from others. I ordered a hamburger (single pattie), fries and drink. Their elevation burger comes with two patties like Five Guys. The burger was not bad. It was cooked correctly and still juicy when it arrived. Fries were fresh cut as the fry cutter was right behind the counter with someone cutting potatoes while we ordered. The fries were a bit too skinny for my taste and almost tastes like potato sticks out of the bag. (if you like Five Guys fries, these may disappoint) Employees came around and cleared our table after we were done so I was happy with the service. Overall, the burger was decent. Skinny fries didn't work for me. Service was good. If you're a Five Guys fan, then Elevation Burgers will probably not take your top spot.

Its the best burger place in Collegeville, which isn't saying much. The burgers are tasty but they are way to greasy. The toppings also aren't always the freshest. The fries are a joke. You get a ton of them which is usually a plus, but they are 10x's greasier than the burger, they are tasteless, and are often times burnt. I really wish there was a 5 Guys in Collegeville. Other than the food the service is pretty good. At busier times you might be waiting for a long time but its all made to order so the wait should be understandable.

This place was decent. The burgers were ok, not great but markedly better than fast food. The french fries were excellent; fresh cut, thin and well cooked. I had a malted milkshake when I went and it was delicious. Service was great... I guess my only complaint is that they don't offer bacon as a topping for the burgers.

This is the best burger I have ever had. Five Guys has now moved to the #2 burger spot on my list. When you order, go light on the sauce. The flavor of the meat stands out. My son left and said he loved it so much that he wanted to kiss the window. The best comment yet from a 6 year old "Way better than McDonalds". What more can I say? I'll be back again and again!

Great burgers! The meat is noticeably superior to regular burgers anywhere else. They could use more types of cheese, IMHO. Although the aged cheddar is very good. The only con's I see would be lack of an ice cold beer to match the burger and the price is a little high to eat here as much as I would like to. For two people, the bill was almost $30.00 Not that I am a cheap person, but it would have been nicer if the bill was closer to $25.00

A bit pricey for a burger joint if you compare to fast food or even a upgraded burger joint like 5 Guys, if you ask me. However, their mantra is 100% organic grassfed meat and quality ingredients, so many may find a couple extra bucks acceptable to feel better about what they're eating. And let's face it, a couple restaurants offering healthier dining isn't a bad thing. I ordered from the top of the menu and got their signature Elevation burger, two patties with double cheese (real cheddar). I like to always order the most popular item when I try a new restaurant, and I also order it according to their "Original" toppings (Elevation sauce, pickle, lettuce and tomatoes). Also got the side of french fries and a "free" water. The total came to $9.20 overall, so on the pricey side for a burger and fries, no drink. The taste of the burger overall was good. Although they do not cook to order on the meat, I found my burger juicy throughout. Subtle seasoning was actually kind of nice compared to a 5 guys burger (although I am a sucker for slightly salty taste with burgers). The quality of the toppings were excellent, so they met their mantra there. The Elevation sauce is similar to a subtle Thousand Island dressing, so if you're into that sort of thing, go for it. Fries were decent, pencil fries cooked in 100% olive oil. My friend had some of the balsamic mustard which he raved about. The sauce was unusual to me, but I did like trying it; although I don't think I'd get it next time on the burgers or fries. So overall, very good experience. A bit pricey at $9.20. I still favor a 5 Guys burger and fries over this, but I am cheering for Elevation burger. It's great to have more choices, and I look forward to trying a veggie burger here in the future.

The burgers are consistently great, with a vast selection of toppings. One of the few places that uses quality extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese on the burgers. Just a flat-out, solid burger. Also, the service is always excellent!

It seems that upscale burger joints are taking storm in this country: Elevation, 5 Guys, Smashburger (which we have yet to have in this area). Whatever happened to the old dive joint? I will say that I do like that they use organic, grass fed beef, as well as healthier oils to fry in, but people, do not mistake this for being a healthier meal. It's still fast food. The burgers aren't bad. They're a little greasy (still yummy) and a little on the small side, and if you get too many toppings, it is extremely messy. Another thing is that they use organic ingredients, but who knows what their buns are made of, and if you REALLY want to impress me, use organic ketchup. They probably use regular old Heinz, which means my kid can't have his beloved "dip-dip" because I don't want to deal with the fallout the next day. Obviously it's not Burger King, so it's a little pricier, though I don't know exactly how much pricier, I haven't had BK in YEARS. For a family of four, (two adults, two small kids), a couple of elevation burgers, a couple of cheeseburgers and two orders of fries will run you about $25-30 bucks. The fries are really good though. They do have a frequent buyer stamp card thingy, and if there are four or more people, you can pretty much fill them up in one visit, which means you could always have a free burger. Overall, while it's always packed, I kind of dig this place because it's decent food and it's family friendly.

My husband has turned into one of those crazed P90x-ers and this burger is what I use to thwart his compulsive healthiness. For serious, he's in great shape, but these burgers are rockin and truly delicious. Very clean tasting - not your normal fast food burger.

Really good, the beef is fresh and flavorful, the cheddar is creamy, but also has bite, the French fries are thin cut and fried in olive oil, so they are crisp but light. Very good, I feel full and satisfied, but not heavy and tired.

Great tasting burgers! seems a little expensive, but well worth the fresh taste and awesome fries. Would definitely recommend over five guys!

I won't lie, despite the supposed "healthier" aspect of Elevation Burger, I agree with what someone else here said -- there's a limit to which you can reach for healthy + burger in the same sentence, haha. That being said, we ate here on more than one occasion and the food was great. The fries are fabulous, the burgers tasty and the service was fantastic. We prefer Five Guys if we're running for a burger and fries, but we have no qualms against Elevation Burger and would revisit without argument.

This place has become a favorite of mine for grab-and-go food. I love all the toppings choices and that you can load 'em on for no additional charge. the "healthy" fries are crisp fresh and yummy. I appreciate the fact that they have 2 veg options for burgers....but they need to work on how they're prepared. they aren't grilled and are just hot and kind of soft :/

This is the most overrated burger joint I have ever been to. When I saw it was opening, I went online to check it out. They are trying to rip off In and Out Burger by allowing customers to stack as many patties as they want and using "organic" burgers. I have been there twice because it is rare to have a bad burger and I thought maybe my first experience was a fluke and it was just a case of getting the bugs out of a new restaurant. The fact of the matter is that the burgers are tiny, overpriced, oversalted, and I would rather go get some regular burgers from McDonalds than eat these burgers again. You can see from my other reviews that I go to my fair share of burger restaurants and this has to be the worst and most overpriced burger I have eaten.

Love this chain and hope as it gets a little bigger it still stands by its morals (grass-fed beef, organic ingredients). My only complaint is that they use Blue Bunny ice cream for their shakes. Seriously? They could do so much better.

Probably the best burger I've ever had. Always cooked perfectly, never dry but also never red or even pink in the middle. The burgers don't really need anything more...no ketchup, no salt, no pepper...but man, I do wish they offered bacon. The fries are also excellent, and plentiful...one order of fries is more than enough for two people.

Not sure what to make of this place. I guess it's a good place to pop in and have a burger if you are up there grocery shopping or doing other things. Let's just say that we won't go out of our way to drive here. The staff were very friendly and our order was correct. The burgers don't taste high quality to us and they kind of had a McDonald's flavor to them. I think the buns were too small for the burger. I'm not a big fan of the thin shoe string fries, so to me they weren't that great. I have to say, though, that the food tasted more fresh than fast food places. The atmosphere is pretty cool with the sustainable design and earth conscious concepts. I was in the mood for some unsweet iced tea and the only kind they had was an orange cinnamon iced tea. So, I decided to try it at the fountain and it tasted like a super spicy stick of Big Red gum ... gross! They need some plain unsweet iced tea here. Even though we prefer Five Guys burgers better, their service and atmosphere surpasses Five Guys.

Their milkshakes. My god are they good. A bit pricey, but SO good. [to those complaining about shake size... READ YOUR CUP. it says that the shake is a 16 oz shake in a 24 0z cup so that they can mix it in the cup, your not getting robbed] And fries cooked in olive oil, and grass fed beef patties? Totally yummy. Plus i love that they have a legit amount of pickles on there if u ask, not those liuttle pickle rounds either, big slices. It gets a little pricey, around $20 usually every time me and the boy come here, but we are usually ravenous and eat double burgers and fries. We leave full and satisfied always. This place Is quickly climbing the perfect burger chart. only complaint is NO BACON?!?!?

Who doesn't love a really good burger? Who doesn't love to be socially responsible in their food choices? Wouldn't it be great if you could do both? Elevation Burger is supposed to bring these two things together in a happy marriage of responsible meat bliss but they haven't pulled it off. I expected the cost and was okay with it. I also expected to have a great burger (grass fed beef is the only way to go if you are going to eat beef). The burger was greasy, the cheese was overpowering and for some reason not at all melted (just an orange square floating on the greasy patty), the bun was blah and the entire thing just wasn't worth what I would pay for a Whopper, frankly I think a Whopper tastes better than what I got at Elevation. The fries were decent quality for a place that just sells burgers. Full disclosure - I am a Five Guys & an In-N-Out Burger fan... I guess I expected an elevated version of these (hence the name) but it wasn't even close. There are 5 of us in our family and we were all on the same page, let's just drive up to Five Guys next time.

Was very good, the whole organic thing isn't a joke as the hamburgers actually taste more flavorful, that being said it was $20 and the wife got a kids burger and we shared fries. It's on the pricey side for "fast" food.

I've been meaning to check out this place for awhile, and I finally got around to it. I've got to say that this was a pretty nice place to get a burger. The burger I got was very good. The condiments on the burger were very fresh. The fries that were cooked in olive oil were different, but still very tasty. The only thing that I have to complain about is that there aren't any combo meals. Everything has to be ordered separately. So, if you're ordering a burger, fries and shake/drink it can get a little expensive. Overall though, it's good food and I definitely plan on going back.

Burger was juicy and good - FF are da' bomb. My kid had oreo milkshake and said it was delish. Pricey for what we got but I don't mind paying $$ for tasty grub. Ready for the next visit.

So good! The staff is friendly, and they mastered the first rule of fast food: narrow it down to your strengths and perfect them. These are simply good burgers- both vegetarian (two kinds of vegetarian burgers!!!) and regular, with fresh, cool tomatoes and pickles and hot meat and cheese. Love going down here especially before a movie or after shopping. They also have a punch-card that adds value to it if the place becomes a favorite (which is likely). Only one thing: the fries are very thin, 'shoestring' style which isn't my favorite, but I'm sure other people would enjoy.

We wanted to like Elevation Burger. We really, really did. And even if you factored out the employee at the cash register who acted like a complete idiot, the food was soooo disappointing. If you're going to specialize in burgers and charge high-end prices for them and use supposedly good beef, then why on EARTH are you NOT going to season the patties? Unseasoned meat makes for dull flavor. And if you're going to use grass-fed beef which, generally, has a lower fat content than your average CAFO beef, then WHY are going to cook the bejeezus out of your burgers. Dry doesn't even begin to describe the $6 burger we ordered. And then, let's talk about the fries. The boy and I were amused to read that they fry the fries in olive oil. I know that there's the whole "olive oil" is healthy craze in America and everyone and the mother thinks that EVOO (with a Rachel Ray Ee-Voh pronunciation) is a god sent answer to all that ails your poor french-fry eating heart, but it's not. Olive oil, especially the cheapo (as in quality, not price) Bertolli Olive Oil we saw stored under the counter is not designed to handle the high heat of frying fries. Olive oil has a pretty low smoke point and if you heat olive oil to the temp you need to reach to fry potatoes to crispy perfection, well then, you're creating carcinogens in that there oil. So here's your "healthy" fries with a side of cancer. But we might even be able to forgive that basic culinary flub IF our fries had not shown up with so many burned bits. Well, first, they didn't show up at all. I know the joint was hoppin' with all four us in there, but to forget the fries and then to check the ticket like I was lying when I said that we ordered fries, well, that's just annoying. But to have the fries arrive with acrid-tasting burned bits on all of them, well, that's just bad frying. And not even the overly-cinnamoned Orange-Cinnamon iced tea could get that taste out of our mouth. If I wanted a dry, underseasoned burger with uninspired toppings and burned fries, I'd just go to Champ's across the way. I don't generally want that and I had such high hopes for a burger place that calls itself Elevation. As a tip for the owners, mosey on down to Center City and see how 500 degrees does it and then mosey on back to Collegeville and look at implementing some of their methods. And season your burger patties for crying out loud. You're not doing yourselves, your beef or your customers any favors by playing hide-and-seek with the salt and pepper.

I heard a lot of hype and sadly this place really fell short. The elevation burger was overdone to the point of being chewy. The fries were all tiny, broken, end pieces and the oil they use does not work well for fries. For $11 with fries and a drink, you can do much, much better.

I was on my way back from test driving an Audi when I saw Elevation Burger and figured I would try it out. As an aside, can you believe the price of those cars?! I told the salesperson I wasn't interested because I could buy two Kias for the price of the car I took out. Anyway, being that I eat organic several times a week at home I wasn't expecting a mind blowing experience, or to get the same amount of food I would from McDonalds. What I got was a tasty burger, fries and a shake and I was happy to pay more to avoid the rBGh and added goodies.

The beef here is truly delicious. It comes straight from Australia from some grass-fed cows that are treated much better than I am. Believe it or not, you don't even need toppings to enjoy these burgers. Now I'm not saying I don't throw 4 or 5 on them myself (the spicy pepper relish is awesome!) but the beef is the focal point. The fries are amazing, small and tasty, they are reminiscient of Monk's pommes frites. Whereas other burger joints really lack a trademark (see Jake's Wayback Burger), Elevation has a really good one. Fresh, organic ingredients and amazing beef. I'm a fan... Keep up the great work, Chris and team. Can't wait to fill up hundreds of punch cards.

Ok at best. We did a direct two day comparison with Five Guys in the Devon shopping center and Elevation Burger. Elevation Burger just does not compare burger to burger, smaller patty with less flavor. We did not try the shakes, but we heard from our daughter that they are very good.

Sooooo I was checking this place out a month or so ago - waiting for it to open up - and I saw people so we walked in. A guy at the door told me that the wait would be longer then normal BUT the kicker was....the food was free. YES!!!! So we had the burgers, and the fries, and the milkshakes and yadda yadda yadda. The burgers were small but very tasty. I love the fact that they are grass fed beef. Where else are you going to get grass fed beef at a fast food joint. This is not your same old McDonalds! I watched them cut the potatoes and cook the fries in olive oil front of me. What fast food joint does that? Fresh!!! Since my girlfriend is gluten free she did a lettuce wrap around her burger. She said she didn't miss the bun. I said what? How can you eat a burger and not miss the bun? She said it was that goooooood! Now for the shake. Very good shake. You get to put flavors in it. Get the vanilla and choose some flavorings. Or get the chocolate and put some cherry flavoring in it. I have been back ever since the freebie. I thought it was well worth the price. You don't need no big ole greasy cheeseburger. Their burgers are perfect size and when you add fries. I was satisfied and NOT stuffed and feeling sick. This is my new favorite burger place. For me, it puts 5 Guys to shame. Sorry 5 Guys. Go get some grass fed beef and fry your fries in olive oil and then we can talk again.

Place is clean and the food is excellent. And I love the fact that its all organic. Its important to support establishments that cares about the kind of food they serve to its customers. I drove through Nebraska and TX, and I've seen the horrible conditions of factory farmed cattle. Its extremely disturbing.

Food is good, and their shtick is a "healthy" version of other burger joints. But their prices reflect the organic theme as you should expect to pay at least $20 for a meal for two. Would have rated higher if the prices weren't so high.
