We stopped here to eat without knowing anything about the place. After a long drive it was nice to sit down and have a great meal. And that's exactly what it was. I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised how good everything was. From hot to cold to sweets. It was delicious. Nice job to workers and whoever is managing it. 11.99 for all you can eat. What an incredible deal! Happy we stopped by there.

This place is a hodge-podge of misfit food. While the hibachi is edible, the rest of the buffet is not. I don't know how people eat this stuff. Do yourself a favor and go to taco bell down the road.. I wish I had.

Hmmm...dining options in Clarion, for a vegetarian, on a calendar holiday... There were not many, I mean hardly any, vegetarian options on the buffet. My saving grace here was the hibachi bar where you can pick your ingredients and sauce - I got lots of veggies and garlic sauce for my first plate. Added some sriracha, and called it dinner! Really not bad, at all. Second plate got pretty much the same thing, but with the ginger sauce. Less good. The place is weird. Or, I am weird. Buffets are weird? I think my dad would love this place (and I think he is weird too).

Good value. Feel like a buffet attached to a casino. They have just about everything you could want, including sushi and hibachi grill. No alcohol, good families.

This is my first post I have ever written on YELP. Yesterday me and some of the people I was with tried this buffet. How can people before me say it was good? The rice and noodles were very good. The hibachi station was great. The buffet was terrible. The pork spare ribs were hard, the chicken was not cooked well or it was over cooked and chewy. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great: I was disappointed at this buffet. I will never go back here ever.

While visiting to see my grandparents in the area, I was shocked by the amount of places closed on Christmas. Even Wal-Mart across the street was entirely deserted, and the gas station was barely pumping any business out. Pennsylvania felt like a ghost town. Sakura loomed over the valley of establishments losing money and business, packed to the brim with hungry Americans who were not cooking on the holiday. The decor was top notch and the buffet not lacking in options. My only complaint is a typical, inevitable one for buffets: the quality dims a little when the food has to sit out for as long as it does, particularly the seafood/sushi options. This is expected and justifiable, because you're paying for the quantity and less for the quality when you step foot into a restaurant with "buffet" in the name. Nothing was bad, however, and everything tasted either good or okay. What really impressed me was the waitress gave us a complimentary Chinese New Year calendar, which solidified how much we enjoyed Sakura. Merry Christmas, Pennsylvania.

The buffet is very extensive. Everything that you would imagine at a regular Japanese or Chinese buffet. The food was all very good. The service was fast. The place was very clean. I'm going to focus on the hibachi grill. It is set up as part of the buffet. You start at one end of the line and pick a plate and start picking out your raw veggies and noodles. Then you pick out your meat-steak,chicken, crab or shrimp. It's all self-serve take as much as you would like. Then you proceed to the hibachi grill. Hand over your food to the chef (he can cook about four meals at a time) and tell him how you would like it prepared. The whole thing will take probably around five minutes between waiting in line and the food being cooked. It really is fantastic. And totally worth the wait!

Visited the Sakura Buffet the weekend they opened. Very busy at that time (Sunday lunch) but wait was fairly short for eight of us. Server took our soft drink order and we headed to the buffet. Options included: basic choices you might find on any Chinese buffet and soups, salads, sushi bar, hibachi grill, steak, baked ham, ribs, frog legs, fried chicken, pizza, salmon, crab legs, and a full dessert bar. Food quality was very good and staff worked nonstop to keep the buffet stocked. Server cleared our plates and refilled our drinks as needed. A good value for a large variety of foods. We will definitely visit again.

For Clarion, and this area, this is fairly good. The interior is clean and new. They have quite a variety of foods. They had probably 4 different kinds of mussels. There were several (four I believe) Japanese soups. They have sushi, which was not exceptional, but it was not bad... And probably the only place in the area with sushi honestly. They also have things like pizza and mac & cheese if Asian food is not your thing. To put it in perspective, if this were in Pittsburgh it would be meh, but around here, it would probably be my first choice for this type of food.

If you're used to quality Japanese food, don't bother coming here. The sushi is fair, but everything else is just mediocre at best. My hot tea was bitter, the pork egg rolls had a strange cinnamon-like flavor, and the actual JAPANESE food (seaweed salad, seafood salad, squid, etc) was very lackluster. It was all very Meh. I'm no connoisseur, but I was very unimpressed. Plus, for a buffet, it was very expensive at dinner time. If you're looking for good Chinese food, I'd recommend Hunan King. Sakura tries to take a stab at adding Chinese additions to their Japanese spread, but it misses the mark. I'm glad Clarion is trying to broaden their horizons, but this place just barely does so. We have a long way to go.

The food is worth the money!!! Clarion needed a new restaurant like Sakura! The hibachi grill is the best- all fresh food that you get to choose! They have noodles, sprouts, chicken, beef, shrimp, eggs, mushrooms, broccoli, peas and much, much, much more. It is delicious! Bill who runs the grill is awesome and very good at what he does. There is also a cold salad bar with variety of different salads including seaweed and calamari salad. Fresh delicious sushi... Fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone! If your in town be sure to stop in- you won't regret it!

I thought it was delicious as well as classy. Clarion really needed something like this! The buffet had a little of everything and the sushi was surprisingly good. I don't know how well it will do in a redneck town of people who plan their lives around dinners of meat and potatoes, but it's a great start.

I just got home from there and I'm lying on my couch, too full to move. This is definitely the most "exotic" place in clarion... Finally. Tonssss of delicious, well made food, for cheap. It was a Thursday night and it was packed. We got seated after about five minutes though. Definitely come eat here.
