Worth the trip for the burgers and pretty good crab bisque (texture is not quite right, and it's a bit salty, but beats expectations). I enjoyed the blackened burger very much, cooked to perfection, and joined by well-done fries.

The burger tasted and smelled raw... Very good fries. Other than that one bite into the burger and it just tasted old... I probably won't be returning, I am pretty grossed out. Great environment though, friendly staff, seemed clean out front, I have no idea what the kitchen looks like though.

Been here twice now. Everyone talks about the crab bisque. One of my favorites. Both times they were out of the soup that everyone says is the very best. My husband got an "Italian sandwich." One piece of dried up cap. Wilted lettuce. I can't remember what I had. Stopped at Burger King on the way home. Two stars because the place is clean and the bartender was great.

Really good. We've been driving by this place for years and finally decided to stop. So glad we did. Average prices with friendly attentive service. Nice range of beers on draft. The place is clean with a nice rec room feel. Definitely more family friendly and less bar-like than it appears from outside. The menu isn't large, but there's good variety. We ordered the coconut shrimp salad which was fresh and really works with the citrus vinaigrette and the "must try" pot roast sandwich which was moist, very tender, and perfectly seasoned. The only weak spot is their sides. Most entrees come with a bag of plain chips, but they cost the same as a meal that would come with fries/fruit/side salad at many other places. Some decent side options would really make the food remarkable.

Looks can be deceiving! The outside doesn't look like much but the food was wonderful. I got the Whiskey Chicken Sandwich. Best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I didn't try the crab bisque because I'm not a crab person but the couple at the table next to us had a bowl and it smelled AMAZING. Maybe I'll give it a try next time. All the people there (staff AND patrons) were very kind. I can't wait to come back!

They DO take reservations and I recommend making them, we're here waiting on a rainy Thurs night at nearly 7:30.

A hidden treasure in the heart of Amish Country. All of the food is prepared fresh to order, a Cream of Crab that will knock your socks off. A nice variety of craft beer to choose from as well!

We've only been here about 3 times, but we love it. Small town atmosphere, great food, fair prices, awesome service. Call to make a reservation, or you might have to wait for a table. This ensures that their small kitchen puts out the best, freshest food. It's in the middle of the country, and happens to be 10 minutes from our house. Lots of locals. Get the crab bisque. You won't regret it.

While I have passed this bar may times I always wanted to stop. Used to look rough and tough but entering the bar you will be a bit surprised as that is not the case. I have eaten there now three times and I think this one was the last. The drink are expensive ($4.75 for boxed wine?) and the food is mediocre. The last time I stopped was for wings which too me were pricey. The taste was good but not a real meaty wing for the price. This last time they were out of wings. Really? So we all settled for other fare and the salad, burger and sandwich were okay. The sandwiches and burgers come with chips but be careful with the fries. $2.25! Holy cow! We spent $7.75 for fries? That's outrageous especially since thy were nothing more than the Syco food service variety. The blue cheese dressing is good and would be even better in they had wings. Like I said don't think we will ever go back. And I hardly right reviews let alone a negative one but I felt violated for what we got for the price

Yelp pointed us to this unassuming restaurant/bar and helpers def steered us well! As mentioned in other reviews - the crab bisque is fantastic. Rest of the food was also good solid eating. But save room for the homemade ice cream!! Our favorite flavor was peanut butter. And pretty much the nicest waitress ever. Highly recommend. We'd go back if ever in the area again.

The crab bisque is simply AWESOME! It's not a fancy place but that crab bisque sure beats any 5 star restaurants bisque. Dessert to try are the peanut butter ice cream (their own recipe) and or peanut butter cake. Parking front and back of the building but it's small so arrive early. Family friendly and very casual...so relax and enjoy.

I love this place. It makes for a good stop when your on a bike ride or whatever else. The food is good and not a bad price. The beer is cold and the staff is friendly.

when i was a kid this place was a biker bar, now you have to wear a shirt with sleeves and shoes. but lets get past the dress code... the bullfrog has come a long way in the last few years, clean homestyle cooking with a great beer selection family owned, good food, good times, good price.... def try the crab bisque
