It is a very good place to go if you are in the area! Everything is scrumptious, minus it being a little noisy.

Great place to eat! My favorite meal is the catfish dinner. Its pretty cheap, I think its around $8.95. It comes with this grey poupon type mustard. It is very tasty, so If you are in Butler or at the Clearview mall, go to the Roadhouse!!!

I dined here with a friend two nights ago. Walking into the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was the display case housing the steaks. That was a pretty neat touch, I thought. I ended up ordering the bone in ribeye steak based on the menus description of it as the most flavorful steak. It was very flavorful indeed and very, very good. It could have, perhaps, benefitted from slower cooking that would have caused some of the gristle and other connective tissues to break down. But whatever their seasoning was, it was perfect. And the steak was huge; probably among the biggest I have ever eaten. The biggest failing, and the reason the restaurant only gets three stars, was in the side dishes. Flavorings and herbs are always welcome, but a vegetable should taste like a vegetable. But in the green beans, the taste of the beans was overwhelmed. They tasted more like bacon than green beans. I couldn't finish mine. The buttered corn was better, but it too was overwhelmed with the butter and other flavors. The night was extremely busy, so kudos to the staff for keeping up with it all. Despite the business, food came out pretty quickly and the wait staff remained attentive. Overall, I would describe this restaurant was decent. But I will likely look for somewhere else to eat if I find myself in Butler again.

This is another place that we frequently visited when we lived in butler. In the world of restaurant chains serving grilled food, this is a 5 to me foodwise. I like their steaks here more than the other roadhouse in town. My faves besides the steaks are the smothered chicken with the gravy and the grilled pork chop with the delicious peppercorn sauce. I highly recommend the pork chop with the peppercorn sauce bc it is finger-lickin good (eventhough I eat it with a fork). I usually ask for extra sauce bc it is just so good. I think the other winner here is the fresh and soft honey rolls with cinnamon butter (or is it honey cinnamon butter?) It's amazing! The onion blossom is pretty amazing, too. Reminds me of going to a fair. It's a huge onion w/ horseradish sauce. I don't know how their happy hours work now, but they used to have good ones. My fave drink here is the Firefly sweet tea vodka. Their margaritas are just ok. seems like a lot of margarita mix. I appreciate that you can call ahead for seating. It's at least better than no reservations although it is still not a guarantee that you will be seated right away. What we do is walk around the mall with the buzzer to kill time. What surprises me here is with the amount of workers they have (you'll notice them when they start to dance or sing happy birthday) and the amount of hostesses they have, the service can still be slow and the women's bathroom can be a mess. Overall, I like this place for the food. It's definitely not a light fare, so come hungry. Men will love this steakhouse.

If your idea of a great steakhouse is noisy, with pathetic attempts at line dancing waitresses etc, here's your place. The food is honest and the meat is fresh; the bar is well stocked and the wait staff perky. Too bad they're in a failing mall.

Only good thing about this place is I usually end up getting my meal for free. Haven't yet had a good meal. Food is either burnt or undercooked, that is if you even get what you ordered. I usually like Texas Roadhouse but the one in butler is horrible .

Four of us went there tonight for a special family celebration as we've done over the years and found that it's gone way downhill since we were last there a year ago. So much so we agreed it is no longer worth the 30 mile trip to get there. What happened? It was pretty chilly in the booth we were seated in and the hostess re-seated after we got a little insistent. She offered to adjust the ceiling fan speed rather than re-seat us after we noted that it was the AC vent nearby that was the issue. The place was half empty, it used to be jam packed, no matter what night of the week we went. The rolls were somewhat stale and hard on the bottom, the onion cactus - was pretty tasteless and the center was under-cooked, the meat dishes were ok, but nothing to elicit a wow from any of us. My daughter's chicken and mushroom dish had random stuff in it: a French fry, a piece of corn, a bean- sloppy kitchen work I guess. The steak fries were a little tough and mine were cool when they arrived. The service was pleasant but it felt fake (everyone wearing an "I love my job" t shirt). After we were done eating the plates were stacked up nearly to our eyes to make a little room on the top of a small booth table so we could chat after dinner was done. The waitress never cleared any plates in spite of walking by us several times-until I stopped her and asked that she clear them. Her reply "Oh, no problem!" -like we were asking a favor is not the same as "oops", "sorry" or "my pleasure" Note there were plenty of wait staffers there for the number of diners, as several employees were sitting in booths chatting my and filling out multi page forms?!). The manager stopped by to refill our iced tea after we were long out-again with our waitress breezing by several times without asking or checking on us. (Remember- Lots of staff and few patrons.) Plus our waitress was chewing gum, the one time she did stop by. Not a big deal, but noticeable. It also felt a little grungy: menus and tables a little sticky, bathrooms and floors not really "top notch clean" like they used to be. Something has changed there; maybe business has dropped so they are cutting corners or employee training is not being enforced, but whatever it is, it reflects in their service and number of diners.

Let me start by saying I have been a Texas Roadhouse fanatic since well....forever. Their Ribeye and Rib dinner is freaking Amazing! However, this was the my first and last visit to this particular restaurant. I gave them 1 star because the rolls were hot when our server brought them to our table...it went downhill from there. The rest of the food was dreadful. We were there for lunch. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING tasted like it was left over from dinner service the night before, reheated, and served to us. My wife ordered a hamburger medium....got a well done burger that was so dry she could of used it to soak up a spill and it still wouldn't have been juicy. I had a pulled pork that consisted of a dried out bun and a clump of stiff dry pork. I asked for a side of bbq sauce and poured it on. Still didn't help. All of the Ribs served to my kids were black, charred, dry, hard....you get the picture. Oh, and get this...my wife's cloth napkin accidentally fell on the floor. She picked it up and it was filthy gross. I explained to our server what had happened and asked for a replacement napkin. The girl brings over a half inch stack of the little square napkins that they put under you drink. WTF? So you know how the manager walks around and asks how your meal is even though most of them don't give a shit? Well she did come to our table. I started with getting my wife a new cloth napkin. She left and came back almost 10 minutes later, handed me the napkin, said "here you go" and left. So I never got the chance to tell her how much our lunch sucked. So....lesson learned...complain about the food first! Then get a clean napkin! Anyway, we won't be back.

While the food can be a little inconsistent, The Texas Roadhouse at The Clearview Mall makes up for it in service! Lizzie, Jenna, Lori Z, Koren, Tara, Vicki, Allison, Alaina and Amber make each experience fun! Ask for one of them when you arrive and your experience is sure to be a pleasant one! If the line is long, it is well worth the wait!

The steaks here are really tough, like can't stick your fork in it tough, or saw at it like a piece of wood tough. We order medium rare and almost alway get it cooked extremely wrong. A little either way and we'd let it go. But it's always either incinerated or still half alive. Service is almost always lacking. I understand they hire mostly teenagers, but if they can't fill up an empty glass sitting on the edge of the table for 20 minutes maybe they need a different job. Chicken is (need a drink to swallow it) dry. Shrimp is usually very fishy smelling. The fries are always cold and hard. The rice is just terrible. The steamed veg is either raw or mush. The only thing that is ever cooked right is the baked potato. To top it off the music is too loud, the menus are sticky, and the tables are dirty.

Ok I don't normally write reviews this place I have to I've eaten here twice once in November didn't like it figured I would give it one more chance to see if they can redeem themselves bad idea. For starters I waited in line at the door there was mass confusion as a bunch of individuals were standing around slowly everyone was seated arrived in my seat peanut shells all over the seat not too big a deal , ordered my drink I ordered the 16 ounce ribeye, mashed potatoes and a side salad with ranch no tomatoes and extra eggs. loaded. as the server went to return my order to the kitchen I begin to pick up a roll keep in mind if you've ever eaten at any Texas Roadhouse you'll know everything should always be the same. No matter where you go I have traveled a little and I have visited at least 12 different Texas roadhouse, that doesn't apply to this place they make their own rolls this would be fine if the rolls did not have an overpowering smell of bleach, now the butter is not right there is nowhere near enough cinnamon moving on. The salad arrived it was as i ordered it , however the dressing was way too thick it should be soon enough to where you can use it to cover your entire salad. Tasted fine still a little light on the seasoning for the ranch. The steak has now has arrived, I cut it open it was ordered medium rare they got this part right, so I tried the loaded mashed potatoes taste was okay, the bacon topping was a little too crunchy. Back to the steak, you know as well as I do if you got this far into this review you know how Texas Roadhouse should taste, the steak itself was a good cut, cooked exactly how I wanted it. But there is no flavor I never use steak sauce. If a steak is good you don't need any. Bottom line service is good, wait staff is attentive, music level just right , decent restaurant however the food just lacks flavor nothing is how it should be try it if u want I will not be going back save your money go to Rachel's Roadhouse

I'm not usually a huge fan of chains but this is one of my favorites. The bread and sweet butter are excellent, of course. But the steaks here are always on point! Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. Also they have many spectacular servers. Last time our server was a very energetic young man who was just so friendly and made us laugh a lot. It is loud in here but it's never bothered me. I would recommend this place if you like beautiful steaks!

An over all dull experience. The waiter was aloof and didn't interact well. he told us they ran out of bake potato and we later found out they had not. We were left alone for periods without drinks and had to ask another waitress for refills. The chicken sandwich I had was very bland, no flavor and runny. After we were done I talked with the manager and got what I thought was an empty "sorry" I wont be back

The wife, the kids, and I ate here for the first time tonight and we had an excellent experience. The portions were great, the food was tasty, and the service was very good. We will definitely be back again!

Great place to go for any kind of meal pretty much. Rolls and That butter they use I would have to say are off the wall. They always have great deals and the staff for the most part is great as well. I aways seem to get more than I can eat and the food is always great as left overs. hehe. I am for sure going back.

The food is very good, but as most of the other reviewers and myself can tell you, that if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the place to go. I would definitely recommend the ribs.

They have excellent rolls (it's the butter) mmm I usually order Chicken Critters , and it comes with two sides that you can choose. My last visit, my waitress was donating her tips to Caring Angels, and Matt Clement from the Boston Red Sox was there signing baseballs for the same cause. It does not have a very quiet atmosphere, thats why my dad does not like to go because he loves to talk, but I enjoy all of the activity around me.
