Finished off St. Patrick's Day here. First visit, nicely laid out, comfortable, with exposed brick walls inside. Met loads of New Friends, including Aaron the Bartender. Had a Burger there last week, tasted really good. they have a patio out the back, which I'm told has live music there when weather allows. Lots of Craft Beers Available. Good Spot - Lots of Fun!

Ate here Friday night. Menu has become extremely limited. My husband and I both ordered the blackened fish, and it was overcooked. There was really no vegetable with it, just diced peppers and some sort of tiny caked item- polenta? quinoa? For $22, you would expect a little asparagus or a salad. I've had good food here in the past but was disappointed with this visit. Atmosphere is decent. There are too many other good restaurants around to waste money at 1810.

I've always had great food at 1810 and decided to come in for my birthday. We waited over 10 minutes without being greeted. Finally, I asked someone if we had a waiter, and a guy came right over. It took a terribly long time to get drinks, and even longer for him to come back and take our appetizer order. The guy seemed to be new and/or have too many tables, because it took him 20 more minutes to re-appear and get our dinner order. I ordered another cocktail, which he forgot and seemed to remember another ten minutes later when he realized my husband needed another beer. At some point, we received our appetizers. The "bruschetta" was none like any other I had. It was actually made of french bread, and because they ran out of lobster, they used shrimp instead. I'd expect them to run out of lobster late in the evening, but we were at the restaurant by 7pm. This substitution did not carry with it a decrease in price and we were charged the full $16 for four slices of french bread soaked in some sort of sauce topped with shrimp. The barley cheese fritters were good, though the tomato "Sauce" was rather watery, as though it had been diluted to make more. Finally, my husband received his dinner, salmon flautas, and I was told mine "needed another minute." I received my fish, which was slathered in creamed onion. When went to slice it, my fork got stuck, an immediate indictation this was either overcooked or undercooked. It was the latter, as the middle of my fish was simply raw. I waited another five minutes for the waiter to return and he did, explaining, "they would heat this up for me." Before I could object, he ran away. When he returned, I had the same food, on a different plate, only this time, the onion cream sauce was now mixed with my rice and vegetables, and what used to be a polenta cake was cold in the center and so hard I could barely get my fork through it. I sent that plate back, letting the waiter know it was just disgusting and I refused to order anything else. While he did take it off our bill, at no point did the chef or manager come over to speak with us. The waiter offered his only condolence of "The Chef sends his apologies." Frankly, that's not good enough.

One of my favorite local spots to eat. Really cool atmosphere with the exposed brick and normally good entertainment. Last night no band, which was odd for a Saturday night, but dinner was delicious and their risotto is never disappointing. The turtle cheesecake was amazing! Full dining room and had to wait a bit after dinner to get our checks, but the food is always worth it.

Unless they actually put lobster in the "lobster" mac n cheese I won't be back. Its over priced and dark in there. The serving sizes were small.

Found this on a business trip in Pittsburgh randomly through Yelp. I could not have been more pleased. Food, service, and decor were an extreme pleasant surprise. I heartily recommend this establishment and will stop in next time I'm in the area.

Ate there Tuesday Jan 14th and got the fish special for the day. The potatoes were delicious but ICE cold as was the peppers. The fish was tasty and tender, but the bottom was burnt so hard I could not chew it. I am disappointed, because I do know your true abilities. PLEASE WATCH THE COLD FOOD THAT IS TO BE HOT. I HAVE HEARD COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS IN THE COMMUNITY.

Went to this place last night, what a meal!!!! I was there with 5 other people and absolutely no complaints about any of the meals & the ribeye dinner that I had was out of this world! I definitely recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed being at the 1810 Tavern in Bridgewater PA. I loved the atmosphere, the server and the food. The scallops, mussels and shrimp (catch of the day) was expertly prepared and arranged on a bed of seasoned mash potatoes. The presentation looked like art and I enjoyed every mouthful!

This restaurant never ceases to amaze us. The food is to die for, the environment is great, and there is usually fun entertainment on the weekends. Chef Phil is excellent at what he does and is always serving creative and unbelievably delicious food! Lobster Mac is a must! You won't be disappointed...go!

2nd time here, 1st time we thought it was decent, so we gave it another shot valentines day weekend. Food- overall ok. Duck breast was nice. Wife had seabass, completely cold. Bruschetta app was plain and underwhelming. Service- awful. The poor girl had too many tables for her waitressing experience. We never had specials read to us, had to ask for silverware, wrong beer brought to the table, asked for water and she forgot it twice, etc. I should have mentioned we reserved this night at least a month prior, to eat and hear the band that was scheduled, and we were seated upstairs, where u couldn't hear the band. Mind u , the upstairs is cold, dark, and uninviting. We felt as if we were being punished. I really hate to criticize any local business like this, but it was really a bad experience, making this the 1st ever review that I have posted. Sorry folks.

My wife and I came hear on a Tuesday evening as a sort of beat the crowds holiday dinner treat. All I can say is that it was not anywhere near the quality meal we had when here with a group a year or so ago. While the dining room had only 11 guests it took us over an hour to get our meal and guests started to question each other as to what was going on. There appeared to be only one waiter and one bartender working. Soiled tables were just left cluttered until they were needed. My wife ordered the Steak Salad and said her meal was okay though nothing special. I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese which the waiter indicated was so popular that it is a perennial hold over on their ever changing menu and would be a nice sized meal. Needless to say I was expecting something more. I received a salad plate sized serving of largely Mac & Cheese for $18 and nothing else at all. It left us both kind of scratching our head saying that's it? Hardly what one would expect for a Main Entree meant to be a complete dinner. In summary, the place is okay but the facility is decrepit and the service, food quality and ambiance doesn't support it's prices. There are better places in the area for the money.

The food here is consistently excellent, and tonight was no exception. I hsd the chicken and taters this evening. It was very good. Not overly creative, but the mango slaw was a twist, it was not outstanding. The chicken was fried, but not greasy or overly breaded, It had a good flavor and texture. Good, but not the very best I have ever had. My spouse had the creole shrimp. She found it good, not overly spicy. We have had creole shrimp in New Orleans. This was not to that standard, but good. The overall experience was very good. Our server was good, pleasant. We eat here frequently, and find the servers to be very knowledgeable, and a better than average wine selection. the list has changed. not as great as usual. We very much enjoy 1810, and enjoyed this evebing as well. we will be back for certain.

Ambiance - Clean, rustic-homey, with a bar section and stage featuring performers all the time. (I was surprised to hear music on a Tuesday evening!) Service - Very accommodating when I had to put the orders on hold while I addressed some medical issues. Seriously, that was nice of them. Food - Excellent, especially for the area. I had a steak and it was absolutely delicious. The menu options are far and above the generic sandwiches and chicken tenders everyone else whips out. I was so pleased to find this on my business trip. Will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area!

I came here last night and they were out of the lobster mac. So i got the cod sammich and it was housed in no time, still yearning for lob-mac, howeve r. So tonight i came back, and so did the lobsters, in with the tide. My hankering was quenched and quelched, aaaahhhhhh!!!

I had the privilege of joining my girlfriends for a night out at the 1810 Tavern. When we arrived, I asked the bartender about the availability of a table, and he rushed to clear it, even though I was the only one there from my party at the time. I perused the draft selection, which I was pleased to find diverse and tasteful. I decided to go with wine, knowing I was in for a longer evening. The bartender asked if I wanted a glass or bottle, and when I said bottle (which I would later share - friends loved it), he went to get a more special selection. The appetizers were eclectic and very well-made. We enjoyed the ahi tataki, scallops, and potato mix. All amazing. Dinner was a foodie's dream-savored the mahi, while others had large portioned salads. I like the idea of more of these establishments moving into Beaver County. Keep 'em coming!

My husband and I went to dinner here last Saturday. Amazing service, and the live music was fantastic! I recommend reservations for the patio on nice summer nights, it got full back there.

We did take out one night so I can't speak to the ambiance, but the food was pretty good. The salmon was expertly prepared and delicious and the potatoes were great. The lobster mac and cheese was pretty good too. I didn't care for the crab soup. I will warn you, you won't save any calories or cash here, but you won't leave hungry.

Full disclosure my boyfriend is a musician who has been playing here for the past month or so and I'm not just a fan because of that. This place is terrific and cool. I haven't even been here when the back patio is open yet and I can't wait for that! The bar is warm and comfortable with a huge wooden bar and high top tables. The food is excellent - duck wings with mango sauce is my current favorite. The servers are friendly and efficient so you never have an empty glass. I highly recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the Gouda cheese burger and fillet surf & turf. The meat was cooked to perfection according to our liking. Pleasant atmosphere with good music playing on the jukebox. Outside patio as well. Very friendly waiter.

Very interesting spot in Bridgewater. My boyfriend gets so mad when I say that! But I don't know any other way to describe my meal here. My meal was interesting. BJ has a coworker friend who had dined here and he highly recommended 1810 Tavern. We came in on a week day night. The dining room was only half full. The interior is very rustic, I like that. We were greeted right away by our handsome server. Service was really great here. BJ was happy with the beer choices, he got a Southern Tier Warlock. For his entree, he got the Cherrywood Smoked Pork Tenderloin. It was served with pineapple brie fondu, funnel cake straws and spaghetti squash risotto. The pork was perfectly cooked. The funnel cake straws was more like a roll, plus he got asparagus. Interesting. I tried the risotto, but tasted no squash. He was very happy with his meal. I ordered the filet & mushroom salad. The menu description was: tender filet and wild mushrooms atop artisan lettuce, smoke blue cheese dressing & sweet potato nest. This is where more interesting comes in. My salad was served in a plastic box. There were no mushrooms in my salad. The artisan lettuce was two hearts of romaine. I love romaine. It's one of my favorites. The sweet potato nest was 3 or 4 sweet potato fries. There were beets in my salad. I love beets. I wasn't expecting beets. For dessert, we wanted to share something small. Somehow, we ended up with a pistachio cake and a piece of sugar free chocolate cake. Both desserts was very good. All in all, an interesting meal. I don't think interesting is a bad thing.

Had not been to the 1810 in a while and was pleasantly surprised! Absolutely love the atmosphere - warm and cozy! The service was excellent and the food was nothing short of amazing! My husband had the catch of the day and to be honest - I was jealous of his meal, though my meal was also excellent. I had the lobster mac n cheese which is always a delectable treat! Def going back more often. Recommend making a reservation as it is small and they fill up fast. There were only 2 of us, so they worked us in even though we did not have a reservation.

Jeez. Service was good, but food was stomach churning. First, I was brought raw chicken, my friend got a "medium rare" steak that was swimming in blood and I swear I heard a faint heartbeat. I was offered soup on the house, which was a rubbery lobster tomato bisque. It was disgusting.

In town with 3 friends for work and found this gem on yelp. Fabulous! We went around 8pm on a Wednesday night. Decent crowd for a wednesday night. Our waitress was excellent and on top of everything. I started with the mango chopped salad...delicious. So good my friends each ordered one after seeing mine. For an entree I had the coconut pie mahi mahi...what an amazing creation, dinner and dessert in one. Sooo good. We shared a salted caramel vanilla crunch cake and sugar/gluten free chocolate truffle for dessert. They were both to die for. Overall, a perfect experience...good food/libations, great atmosphere and a super friendly waitress who was very welcoming to us out-of-towners. Would absolutely return next time I'm in town. :)

Late yesterday evening, Kay and I skulked about Bridgewater as chilled raindrops pelted us like tiny knives, and the fog conspired to blind and confuse us. Our spines tingled as they would if a cloaked, blade-swinging evildoer had been stalking us, waiting for us 'round each bend of a street that was almost deserted... youtube.com/watch?v=OhpG… Almost that is. We stumbled upon a house of crimson brick, one that was full of life and live music. The wooden floors seemed ancient, well-walked upon by revelers that are long-gone yet are still very much with us. I felt...spirits, affable ones, and I began to feel at ease. A lovely server with a locomotive inked on her forearm greeted us as soon as we sat down, happily running down the specials of the night, one of which Kay chose. She would describe it as "a puzzle and a drama." Blackened scallops trembled on her plate and sat atop a mattress of white rice and a colorful array of fruits and vegetables that included mango, pineapple, spinach, corn, and white asparagus. I only sampled half of one scallop, and the blend of fat, salt, and protein was as exhilarating as a few martinis and a several hours on a dancefloor. I had as my entree the Baby Back Ribs which were slathered with an alcohol-infused sauce that tickled all of my senses, its hybrid of sweetness, spice-borne zip, and booze-fueled bite soaking into the delicate meat which pulled from the bones cleanly and without a struggle; I was able to surgically separate the meat using a knife and fork. A perfect, albeit scant portion of tangy, creamed cole slaw sat in the corner of the plate. On the other side laid a pile of "chips" that were more like disc-shaped home fries in that they were too thick and not at all crunchy. Not that I disliked them at all, but either 1810 has their own take on "chips" or someone in the kitchen needs to get their hands on a mandolin to achieve a much thinner slice. The chips could have used a tad less sea salt as well. I found myself brushing off the excess with my thumbs. The only other minor flaw in my meal was to be found in the Wahoo fish tacos we had as our first appetizer. As fine and tender as they were, the fish filets could have been seasoned a bit more (a dry rub might have been nice) than they were (I should have used the excess salt from the taters on these), but the accompanying sour cream, mango wedges, and pair of salsas (one of tomato and one of corn) helped carry the flour-tortilla tacos to a tier above mediocre. The flatbread, our second appetizer, was a celebration of wine-soaked cherries and goat cheese on two cuts of charred toast, making it a pizza for the truest of bon viviants. Kay and I also shared a weighty cut of their Lemon-Berry Mascarpone Cake. Garnished with lemon/lime preserves and dusted with powdered sugar, the dessert was a union of Strawberry Shortcake, cheesecake, cannoli, and a humbly crumbly morning pastry. The layers of delectable cheese and embedded berries all snapped playfully as the bar's cover band had us juking and jiving to classics we're both sick of. Perhaps it was those spirits again. Or maybe it was the excellent food. Good eats will can make a man brave in the face of the reaper...or ripper and cause him to tolerate tunage he doesn't dig, performed loudly I might add. Make a drive out to Bridgewater. An experience at 1810 Tavern is worth traveling outside of Pittsburgh for. P.S. The joint is boisterous but very friendly. Complete strangers smiled at us and patted us on our backs upon entry and exit. Go!

Year after year when I return, 1810 remains to be one of my favorite places in the area, I might even say my favorite menu because it is more like what I'm use to at home. This trip I discovered my new favorite appetizer, it was the sliced potatoes with bacon and onions served with a blue cheese horseradish cream sauce. I don't really even like blue cheese but this sauce was to die for. In 5 days I went twice and tried to go back a third but they were closed that day. I hope I'm able to make these at home because I can't wait a year to have them again. The scariest thought is that by the time I return they will have been removed from their menu since it is an ever changing menu. Give these potatoes a try to keep them popular and hopefully they will remain on the menu. Way to go 1810!

My fiance and I had an engagement party here last weekend and among all of the possibilites, this locale was our first choice, and it didnt disappoint. It was memorable for all of the right reasons: The wait staff was attentive and cheerful, the food exceeded expectations - evoking dozens of compliments from even the harshest of critics. The welcoming charm of the location and cozy atmosphere left many guests planning their next visit and future events at your facility. Although we rented the upstairs, the entire building holds this charm. Even some local guests were impressed at what this location has to offer. Not being from this area, I have to say that this restaraunt is a little gem and worth your time.

I thought the fish tacos needed salt or some other spice to really sing. My Blackened Scallops were really good, though, and were full of veggies and rice that played out like a drama or something. lol. I was a little tipsy at the time. The goat cheese and cherry flatbread was amazing. It was like a gourmet pizza. The lemon-berry marscarpone cake kicked butt as well. Darren and I teamed up on it. Our server was really cool and talkative and had some nice tattoos. It gets loud on a Saturday night because of the live music.

This place is absolutely incredible. Food is out of this world and reasonably priced for what you are getting. Atmosphere has it all from outside dining, dim romantic dining area and a relaxing bar area. This will be a regular spot from now on. They change the menu every week and I can't wait to go back.

OK I must admit I have a special place in my heart for this place because I got married here, but I gotta say the food is very worthy of the 5 stars! Each meal I have had here is wonderful and we always seem to get the same waitress( I think? her name isEmily) who is beyond knowledgeable. She knows the food and the alcohol. They carry the vodka I prefer to drink, the restrooms are always clean, and the outdoor spot for dining and bands is great. My fav thing to order is the tavern fries. The last time I was here I had a chilled blueberry citrus soup. I am not usually a fan of cold soup but decided to be adventurous! So glad I did as it was just about the best think I have ever eaten. Creamy bit not overly so, a hint of lemon zest and a light aftertaste of herbs. I am not even sure how they do that! Go here.. Spend your dollars locally.. you will NOT regret it!

I read and agree with Jon I's review of 1810 Tavern. Last night was my first time there. The atmosphere was laid back. I noticed alot of staff hanging out at the bar laughing and socializing. I watched many young and older people come in that were nicely dressed. The woman who sat us had to be the same lady that seated Jon I. He said it perfectly, disheveled and didn't smile all evening. Now our waitress was chatty and very pleasant! Seemed like a fun place, people were laughing and playing the juke box. But something just didnt seem right. The tables were nicely put together with black tablecloths and napkins. A candle lit at center of table with a wine list. Seems to elegant to be listening to Metillca blare through the tavern and the smell of cig smoke seeping in from around the corner, And the prices on the menu seemed a tad high for such an atmosphere. But I ordered the Chicken Pesto which was served in a modern white dish that was nicely presented. The chicken layed on a bed of pesto rice with a tomatoe/cranberry sauce on top. (thats what it seemed to be anyway). I took a bite and sat back in my chair and savored it. It was fabulous! After finishing the entire dish, I sat back and enjoyed my Chocolate Martini, which by the way, was made correctly. Even though the atmosphere didn't fit the sophistication, i think they might of been trying to achieve, I definitely will be returning!

Pretty dece. I always have a good time when I come here and it's for a good reason. It's a relaxing, casual place to have a drink or five. The food isn't half bad either. For a bar, the food is actually really good! And the wine selection isn't half bad either. This isn't your typical Beaver County bar. There is actually a little bit of class and dignity in this business. I hope they continue on the path they are going.

1810 is a great little pub restaurant in Bridgewater. The neighboring town has had a recent influx of great new restaurants (Bibas, Marios etc) while Bridgewater has had much turnover. 1810 opened a little over a year ago and offers fresh food that is prepared in a unique and tasty manner. 1810 offers both small plates and full dinners. Great selection and menu changes every week. Really you need to try this place.

Well -- something has changed at 1810. Last night's visit for dinner was not good by any means. The lamb dish was "chuncks" of very fatty under/overcooked glop. Absolutely terrible. The wine that was served as chard house wine was apparently, according to the waitress, not what was on the menu -- we objected to the price of a very poor wine and got a 5 minute story about how they were out of all the other wines.... really? Any place that has to tell these stories to customers has a quality control problem. The waitress "comp'd" the wine as apparently, as it was told, what we ordered is not what we got because they were out but she was not to tell the customers.... I needed to get change for a $20 in order to tip the valet for parking our car. I stood for 4 minutes at the bar while the bartender and someone else ignored me (and another customer). Finally a waiter came by and asked what I wanted -- that was fast and courteous. Bar tender seemed totally unengaged from managing his bar. Valet service was excellent on entry, and on exit. Nice to have. This, aside from the music, was the best part of the evening. Music was excellent. But the management seems oblivious to the visuals of their stage -- they need to cover the kitchen window behind the stage, and to create a visual barrier for the kitchen vent hood. 1810 has so much potential, and I've commented on 1810 before in a very positive way -- indeed the painting venue. Having live music is also great (if folk would realize the performers "pay" is through tips and not from the establishment). 1810 has some excellent "visuals" in advertising. It would enhance its profile by upscaling its culture of service to clientele. We have reservations to go back in November but will have only the basic fare -- the kitchen's "fu-fu" status is vastly over-rated given our experience last night. We will stick to basic fare from now on. f8 and be there (at least one more time).

I agree that SOMETHING HAS CHANGED here. ...a few weeks ago had dinner here and the food was very good. So I planned on bringing our out of state friends here for dinner. I received a call from 1810 forty minutes before our scheduled 7pm reservation. Asking if I would like to cancel as they were all of their specials AND entres for the evening. It was too late to call our friends so we met them there. We learned they were also out of bread. We asked if we could have a burger and was told that is only served on the lunch menu. We opted to have a drink......and....of course, they "just happen to be out of Beefeaters" also. What an unbelievable, embarrassing situation!
